Q: What is your favorite book you read in July?. Me, actually posting a wrap up post on the last day of the month?! AMAZING!. Full wrap up post on the blog now, link in bio. In July, I read 9 books total – this seems to be my monthly average these days! The month started off a little rocky but once I found my footing in books, I read a lot of 4 and 5 star reads so I’m really happy about that!. It's hard to pick just ONE favorite this month, but if I had to pick, I'd say Firekeeper's Daughter was my overall favorite. A mystery/thriller with Native American characters with contemporary Native American culture and language (Anishinaabemowin) prevalent throughout the book. Kept me on the edge of my seat and intrigued the entire time. I just finished Malibu Rising yesterday and once again, Taylor Jenkins Reid surpasses my expectations. I would like to live inside of a Taylor Jenkins Reid book please and thank you. She has such a way with words and setting the scene, I feel like I am really THERE. Her storytelling ability is unlike anything else. About Me

My name is Sarah. I was a student at Brigham Young University- Idaho studying sociology when I was in a car accident in January of 2017 heading to school. In that accident I broke my right humorous that I needed emergency surgery on. With that surgery I had to drop out of my classes that semester which led me to drop out of the university. I went back to New Jersey (my home state) and now figuring out my next step. 

I used to sit around wishing for things to happen. I would wish for more money, I would wish to lose weight, I would wish to make more friends, I would just wish for anything and everything I want but I wouldn’t be willing to put effort in. 

I am putting effort in now! I am working as an independent contractor with Vector selling Cutco kitchenware, this summer I am going back to America;s Favorite Scout Camp (the Joseph A Citta Scout Reservation) for full time and then selling Cutco on the side. 

I don’t want to change myself to make more friends or to make others happy. This blog is to express my opinions and hear others. I love friendly debates and friendly conversations, but only friendly. 

I hope everyone can appreciate what I do and contribute to it! Please feel free to message me with any input or suggestions on how to make this blog better!!

Q: What is your favorite book you read in June?. In June, I read 9 books total, including 2 non-fiction, 1 graphic novel. I DNF-ed 2 books – I was not feeling them and ready to move on. My favorite book of June was easily The Box in the Woods – I loved the Truly Devious trilogy and I was so looking forward to the 4th book, set weeks after the end of the previous trilogy – and it did not disappoint. So many feel good feels and I was so happy to be back in that setting. Other honorable mentions were romance story The Soulmate Equation - A “dating” company that will take your DNA and then find your soulmate match? Can this be real life and where can I sign up?. Instructions for Dancing - another Nicola Yoon hit. I will read everything Nicola writes from now until always - and her stories always have a twist that you don't see coming. #Heartstopper Volume 3 - I'm chugging along reading the sweetest graphic novel story EVER and if you haven't picked it up yet, I highly recommend this story! Volume 3 was more serious and dealt with mental health issues and eating disorders, which I didn’t expect, but I’m glad this series tackles important issues. Q: What's the first book you're reading in July?. I just started the audiobook of Darling by K. Ancrum and already loving it. I actually made a TBR list for July! First time for everything, am I right?. I wrote a full blog post (link in bio) about 10 books I hope to read in July, and here's a handful of them that I have a physical copy of. I plan to do most of my reading via audiobooks, so its hard sometimes but this month worked out that I own a lot of the books I want to read. Here's a few I'm really looking forward to: Ace of Spades by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé - I grabbed this as an audio arc from Netgalley and also purchased the special edition from Illumicrate - I'll probably listen to this one as I do most with most books. I'm always here for a good thriller. Fresh by Margot Wood - I won this arc in a giveaway from YallWest, and since its published in August, now is the time to read it!!! I can't wait to *book shimmy*!. Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid - This is one of my most anticipated releases of 2021. And...I'm scared to start it. What if it doesn't live up to the hype for me?! I'm determined to read it this month though. I just have to do it. Mary Jane by Jessica Anya Blau - I love any books that involve music and I expect I'll like this one! I keep pushing it off but I'd like to read this Almost Famous meets Daisy Jones & The Six book ASAP. Realm Breaker by Victoria Aveyard - Another one I've had on my TBR and wanted to pick up right away, but am worried I won't like it.
