My side project juggles a lot from Paleblood, In the Shadow of the Valley and ‘Unamed Cafe Romance’. None of these stories except for insotv might see light of day outside a Kindle romance tag but they SURE ARE FUN.

The premise is taken from Stardew Valley and Cafe Enchante aka relative dies and MC inherits a cafe that is actually a popular visit spot for inter-dimensional travelers. Multiple universes exists, but some, like ours, are designated ~VACATION~ locations… aka our world is pretty tame compared to the conflict and chaos in others.

The cafe romance is a harem and so far these are the LIs (everyone has a ‘human’ form and their ‘true’ form because we support monster fuckers in this house)

Zhong - a dragon (Chinese coded) he/him; reserved and stoic. Regal, but also a bit of a dipshit. Comes from a land known as the Three Hundred Kingdoms. He is worshiped as a god, but belief in the mystic is waning as technology advances and the world “moves on”. He is one of the last dragons-gods. Believes it is time the dragon-gods step down and let humans rule.

Azrael - an eldritch “angelic” entity (Black/Iranian coded) they/them, he/him or she/her; charismatic, flirty, but superficially so. Hides a darker, harsher side of themself. Comes from a land called the Far Aether. Little is known about it.

Ye-jun or Ye-jin- a goblin (Korean coded) he/him or she/her; easy-going and humorous. Mischievous. Often selfish. Comes from the Moon-Soaked Palace, a world made up entirely of one large Korean palace. Another “recreational” world like the human world.

Kai - a Maori spirit (Polynesian coded) he/him; reliable and warm. Open-hearted and genuine. Comes from the Drowned Lands, a world of endless oceans, lagoons and marshes. Designated group mom friend.

Deryn - a Welsh Fae (European coded) she/her; mercurial, brilliant, but often moody. Comes from the Fairwild, a world of dense forests and magic.
