Hello! I wanted to ask you, when the wizards are freed from Omega by Neruman in the comics, what do you think their relationship was? Because it never really felt to me that the wizards were serving Neruman willingly. Not sure if I’m quite thinking they were his prisoners, but it didn’t feel like they would serve him by choice. (You’ve talked about comic-exclusive characters in your posts before, so I’m guessing you know about the comic plots. If you don’t, since the comics aren’t widespread, then never mind.)
(Quick extra bit: any theories on where the wizards lived while serving Neruman? Because I could never tell if they lived in his Dark Dimension Castle thing, or if they just hid out in Gardenia again.) Thank you!
Ngl of all the characters with relevance to the remaining 75% of the Black Circle comic wise, Neruman has definitely done the least for me? Which might be a little ironic because he's like the whole reason the wizards were even freed to EXIST in the comics?? Idk he just doesn't get my creative juices flowing like Yllidith and Gregory do y'know- Despite having more relevance than both of them. I really am just attracted to cardboard huh. Hm.
Tumblr media
But aside from that!! Yeah no, I don't think the word 'willingly' is even allowed in the building rn.
Tbh the wizards really just dealt with hit after hit, loss after loss. They went from nearly done with a centuries lasting job, to losing one of their own and being locked up, just to be freed and forced to work under him to repay a debt that really won't be until some guy says so, who abandons them anyway later on and lets them get locked away elsewhere. Had the wizards been in even a little bit of a better state, emotionally and magically, at any point during this, I don't think working under him would've gone on for as long as it did, if even at all.
Also if we assume that they haven't worked under anyone since Yllidith, and doing so wasn't the best experience (I am assuming both of those things), than this might've been extra upsetting for them too. If it wasn't humiliating enough by itself. Dare I say I think all 3 of them hated this shadowy, 'Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come' ass bitch- Just not a fan of it being mostly a fear thing, I mean these men have been around for a WHILE. Like just say they're aware they're too weak to leave him rn, but don't make them SCARED and sweating on their knees tf is WRONG with you smh.
Not to do another comic rant or anything, but I will NEVER get over how the comics slandered them and everything positive they had going for them. Maybe that's why Neruman doesn't do a lot for me hskskssj he really is a big part of it all.
Wouldn't be surprised if he did yoink them to be nearby whenever they weren't actively doing something for him though, so I'd say stand-by in the castle, but "free" roaming Gardenia when in the middle of the job, like with the whole Gregory thing. Who is actually my little guy compared to Neruman.

Hi, I hope you're doing well 🌸
You recently mentioned something about the version of Helia in the comics being superior to the one in the animated series, so as someone who hasn't had a chance to read the comics, I was wondering if the specialists in the comics are more developed than in the series? I was also curious to know why you consider that version of Helia to be superior?
Hello!! I'm doing good!!
To put it bluntly most of my information about the comics comes from @shiningclown69 who is amazing and lovely and obsessed with both the comics and the specialists
As to the reason I think comics Helia is superior to show Helia, it's actually quite simple!
Pre season to Season 2 Show Helia:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's it, that's all of it
However in the comics:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HE HAS A ENTIRE FUCKING CHARACTER ARC!!! AND IN DEPTH CHARACTERIZATION!!!! SHOW HELIA COULD NEVER!!!!
Frankly it's not hard for comics Helia to be more developed than show Helia, as show Helia is about as deep as a puddle. Comics Helia is where the idea that he's insecure comes from, it gives a MUCH better reason for him leaving RF, and gives Helia layers to his personality and let's the poor boy show off who he is in a real sense
All I do is combine this with the fact that series Helia is a fucking asshole (only saving Flora we love to see it) to get my Helia and it's fun and great and I love him
Comics Helia is the superior version of Helia because he actually has depth and is actually involved in the plot where series Helia liked to hide at RF and just not exist
Jester will respond to this post with info about the other specialists, I know it in my bones, they cannot resist the call of talking about both the comics and the specialists
In essence? If you don't like how Helia never gets a chance to shine and exist as an individual and not just someone for Flora to be in love with, read the comics. God bless 😂❤️❤️❤️

Another one of my fave moments from the winx comics is when they try to introduce a boyfriend for Roxy called Manuel My favourite tidbit of him is that he's supposedly handsome, and looks like Brandon but blonde. Then he shows up LOOKING LIKE S5 SKY????? HMMMMMM Sky u wanna explain smth?
I also realised this gives me confirmation that Brandon is tall bc Manuel is described as tall, but that doesn't matter
There are so many things I love about the 1st page...
The guys teasing Brandon like "Yeah!! Manuel is way more handsome than Brandon ;)" while Brandon watches his own murder with most mortified fucked up expression (Look at Helia joining in on the violence, I wish Riven was here)
Stella excitedly asking for a picture, then going "Whaaat? No way someone can be more handsome than Brandon...lemme see. Yknow, for research purposes *wink wink nudge nudge* " WITHIN EARSHOT OF BRANDON
And best of all, Tecna telling Timmy to BREACH SCHOOL PRIVACY to so that the others can look at hot guy pictures...Tecna that's not "a good cause" !!!
The 2nd pic from a subsequent comic is also amazing...As much as I love cool mature conflict resolution Brandon, I also LOVE teasing, drama-stirring ass Brandon so much
Look at his tiny smug expression compared to Sky's >:(
Sky: Don't you dare. Brandon: I'm gonna do it. Sky: Oh my god.
Brandon's fruity ass "OOOOH" along with his stupid ass teasing, followed by Sky going "Shut up Brandon." gets me every time asdfgghjjk
Look at how done Manuel is..."Why is my school senior tryna pwn me"
Manuel's snipe back at Brandon of "Imagine Stella avoiding u" at the end is so funny bc Brandon replies with such AUDACITY?????
"STELLA LOVES ME TOO MUCH TO AVOID ME" HJDSBFGH HELLO???? WHAT
Sir you can't say that when there's literally a comic where y'all broke up and were avoiding each other
I just know this man is trying his hardest to get revenge and prove his title of hottest guy in school, and he's WINNING

Here are the credits listed in each issue in my collection.
I will not be including the titles as I'm not familiar with their English translations and I don't want to cause any confusion.
"Pixies Tales" is the name of short comics featuring the Pixies as main characters, before the Pixie Mag was born.

From here until issue 59 they just stop listing who did the outside cover, for some reason. At first I thought it was because issues 44, 45 and 46 have Secret of the Lost Kingdom models as covers, but that wasn’t the case.

winx club meets a major reboot
like fanfiction-wise anyways cause i've had these ideas for a winx club reboot ever since this march (14?? i think?? or maybe a lil earlier)
this post is more of an interest check. feel free to drop in the comments/reblog your thoughts about it and/or read a bit more about it <33
this is mostly a spoiler-free detail dump of stuff that i have listed out for my reboot:
First stop are the characters. I'll be using the main girls: Bloom, Stella, Musa, Flora, Tecna, and Aisha. All the members of Trix: Icy, Darcy, and Stormy. Also the main guys: Sky, Brandon, Riven, Timmy, and Helia.
I won't be including Nabu here. If I'll be completely honest a part of me does want to include him. But I don't want to overwhelm myself because I'll be using a lot of characters already. This could be subject to change but I don't think it'll happen anytime soon.
All couples in the original cartoon will be initially together here. So a big and fair warning: all the original couples will be breaking up or have broken up in this reboot of mines.
Other characters I will include are: Faragonda, Griffin, and Saladin. (for “volume 2” there will be more familiar characters but I’ll keep them under wraps for now cause I gotta finish volume 1 first hashajhshaja)
The first volume is mostly character-driven. Not much plot, more on vibes and exploring the characters. (I’ve given some changes to the background of a few characters. Like Bloom not getting adopted by Mike and Vanessa, she was assigned from one foster home to another. And Stella’s parents staying divorced but still have a decent relationship with both.)
I'll be starting from scratch. Like I mentioned earlier I have a major reboot in mind so it's a new retelling of the cartoon with familiar characters with new arcs/storyline.
In connection to #3, I do have plans to mix them up. There'll be f/f, m/f, and m/m pairings. There will be a possible poly relationship too. (As much as I have been fond of the familiarity of the original ships when I grew up watching the show, I want to offer a new take for them to give not only a sort of fresh start for these characters but also for the audience - it’s a risk but I’m optimistic about it)
A couple of changes with physical traits. Like Bloom having freckles, Stella’s skin being tanned, Musa’s hair is dyed black, Tecna’s hair being naturally bleached blonde, and Stormy being blasian/black American and Asian.
A couple changes to the characters’ wardrobe. I have customized the outfits that can look good either animated or live action (imo anyways). I used @ummmmandy‘s dress-up game for these looks. Moodboards will be uploaded soon .
I'm gonna hold on to the other details to myself as a sort of ✨surprise factor✨ in the future ahsjahshhaa

Issue Fifty-Four: Pandora's Box
Tumblr media
WHY WOULD YOU SEND THE PEOPLE THAT WORKED WITH VALTOR!!!! AHHH THE COMICS ARE SOMEHOW STUPIDER THAN THE SHOW!!!
Tumblr media
This is so funny "struck out with the people who saved out entire dimension, time to flirt with the people who helped Valtor"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's actually really interesting seeing the difference in the way Icy and Darcy manipulate people
Icy is a lot more direct and does it with her own personality, while Darcy pretends to be something else and is a lot slower and more in-depth with her manipulation
Tumblr media
"And I won't help you get a girl" he was going fine getting along with girls with out you buddy this isn't much of a issue
Tumblr media
This guy and Riven would get along like a house on fire discussing tactics
They'd be talking about how to get away with murder as a thought experiment and horrify Sky
Flora too tbh
Tumblr media
NFNSNDJSJGJDJ YEAH Flora energy
"This is dangerous but there is learning to be had" love it love it
Tumblr media
Flora is the potions master I take offense to this
Tumblr media
This is so rude from the writers lol
Like the Trix KNOW their magic thank uuu
Tumblr media
Djsjdkdjfjjddjdjjd "yeah these demons could kill so many people but at least I wouldn't get detention!" I love how fucked everyone in the Winx world's priorities are
Tumblr media
JGJWDKEKWKEKEKEKEKE HOW MANY TIMES IS THIS GONNA HAPPEN TO THE COMICS TRIX
Tumblr media
This is so funny "you saved the school! You can be teacher assistant!" Tho I love how this kid got to save the day, good for him genuinely
