no, actually my least favorite thing about watching thai dramas while speaking & understanding thai... is that the dialects never match up 😭😭😭 if a character is from a non-central province, they'll have their whole family speak in northern/southern/isaan dialect while the main character, who's played by an actor from bangkok, will unexplainably not have any remnants of his native dialect when he speaks even though he was born & raised in the area and often time never even left... that shit breaks the fourth wall to me, like... why even hire an actor who doesn't fit the role fully, I don't get it 😭

something that keeps tripping me up in death note fandom is that, because the series has so many inconsistencies and holes, there are so many interpretations of the series, the characters, and I just can't keep it all straight in my head. lol. not to say I don't like it; I just struggle so much when I see two headcanons I like but they can't both work together.

So it really trips me up when it comes to headcanons of my own - I don't agree with things I wrote last month probably - and when world building for Riri...

Rewatching the first MLP EQG movie and honestly I just think the execution of the movie would work better if it didn’t take place in a high school since it just. Doesn’t make sense?? Like the mane 6 are all adults so putting them in a high school in the human world creates a lot of questions

#I remember hearing something about MLP EQG being made cuz the Monster High toys were popular #And idk how true it is (wouldn’t be shocked if it was true though since all versions of MLP were made to sell toys)#but it probably wouldn’t be so obvious if they hadn’t put all of the characters in a school #If they HAD to go with a school route though I feel like college would’ve worked better? Cuz there are adults in college not high school #Also it’d be neat if characters from Equestria got to keep a little bit of magic cuz why do the sirens still have the ability to #hypnotize people but Twilight and Sunset don’t have like. Idk a magic wand or something cuz they’re unicorns #Also Spike being a dog but the Diamond Dogs being human makes no sense. Make Spike a human and the Diamond Dogs literal dogs #I have so many thoughts regarding MLP EGQ and how it could be better and have less confusion surrounding it #mlp #rb

call me the epitome of multifandom today because I'm getting people following me for, and liking my The Glass Scientist stuff, People coming around for Fools Gold since the new episode dropped, and the very occasional constant like or two from people seeing my Rise of the TMNT things.

(No pressure to do it idk if its dumb or not lol)

Oo thank you! This wasn't dumb, it actually gave me a lot of ideas. Here's the one I went with:

In the woods at golden hour,

I stand by the property line,

That invisibly seperates,

My neighbor's life from mine.

There's a barrier I cannot cross,

Though it's just a sparse tree line,

Accompanied by a yearning,

That I wish I could better define

For as long as I can remember

I've wanted desperately to run away,

But the sun is always setting,

And so I always stay.

In the woods at golden hour,

There is a menacing sign,

It reads "trespassers will be shot",

But it's no safer this side of the line

#anywho calling this one In the Woods at Golden Hour #its about something i used to do everyday when i was younger #i grew up in a very terrible place and always wanted to run away #i lived in a rural area where in order to leave #i would have had to illegally cross a neighbors property #and risk actually being shot or walk on the side of the road #which was literally walking IN the road since it was so narrow #basically there was a high chance of either being hit by a car or a bullet #but i would always stand out by the treeline #standing as close to my neighors property without crossing into as i could #and i would watch the sunsets and sunrises #wishing that i could be anywhere else at all #i would weigh in my head the costs of running away #the likelihood i would be brought back #and things would be made even worse for me because i tried to leave #i mustered the courage to try once or twice but never got far #i never even understood why i hated it there so much #i do now though #sometimes i still get hit with a wave of that feeling #that desperate need to run away #but the sun is always setting. there's nowhere for me to go #its the same either side of this line. even though i left i took that place with me somehow
