I don't like cosplaying females very much anymore, but I LOVE how I look like Cyndi Lou Who. Look at this cute little Who.

"Where are you Christmas
Why can't I find you
Why have you gone away
Where is the laughter
You used to bring me
Why can't I hear music play
My world is changing
I'm rearranging
Does that mean Christmas changes too
Where are you Christmas
Do you remember
The one you used to know
I'm not the same one
See what the time's done
Is that why you have let me go..."

There are few words to describe Hallmark’s Where Are You, Christmas? and it’s not because it’s so sensational I was rendered speechless. It was like going on a roller coaster that’s sometimes great and otherwise so wild you want to get off it immediately, but you’re stuck on top of a loop. It’s outright bonkers, but it somehow managed to make me cry multiple times. I’m a sap. We all know that by now, but this? I have absolutely no idea what this movie is.
If you’re coming to it for Lyndsy Fonseca and Michael Rady‘s chemistry, you’re in it for the right reasons. If you’re also coming here because you miss Parks and Recreation and Jim O’Heir is in it, you’re also in it for the right reasons. But if you’re coming in for a gloriously heart-changing film, then I’m not sure what to tell you. The premise is straightforward and doesn’t get too convoluted, which is always a plus, and the CGI is okay at best, but it’s the idea that’s so far-fetched it’s hard to believe in it.

Watch "Faith Hill - Where Are You Christmas?" on YouTube
Mariah Carey wrote "Christmas, Why Can't I Find You?" with James Horner and Will Jennings for the movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas in 2000. This song was renamed to "Where Are You Christmas?", for the film's soundtrack.
Mariah Carey recorded demo of the song, but because of a legal case with her ex-husband CEO of Sony Music Tommy Mottola, it could not be released, so it was re-recorded and released by Faith Hill.
While promoting The Meaning of Mariah Carey told she has the demo somewhere and has to dig back into the vault to find it.

“Christmas shoes is the saddest Christmas song”
Boring, tired, common opinion
Overtly emotionally manipulative
Her mother is dying but she’s out buying new shoes? Okay
“Where are you Christmas is the saddest Christmas song”
True, unspoken point
Genuine wonder over how Christmas has changed every year we’ve gotten older
“Does that mean Christmas changes too?” Yes, my back hurts

One of Hallmark's new movies for 2023, Lyndsy Fonseca plays Addy, who accidentally wishes that Christmas didn't exist, turning the world sepia toned. She then has to work together with local mechanic Michael Rady to find a way to make her hometown remember Christmas and bring back color.

Thoughts on Countdown to Christmas Week 1
1. Favorite Overall: Where Are You, Christmas?
2. Best Ending Kiss: Checkin’ It Twice
3. Favorite Family: Under The Christmas Sky
4. Most Annoying Moments: Checkin’ It Twice (The debit card mix up, the brother in law)
5. Best first half: Under The Christmas Sky. It’s too bad because it was so good up until the scene where David panics. Then it just felt like a record scratch and things came to a screeching halt.
6. Most predictable: Checkin’ It Twice. Kevin and Kim deserved a more interesting story.
7. Swooniest moment: When Hunter tells the monochrome Addy she’s beautiful no matter the color.
8. Favorite secondary character: Andy, Under The Christmas Sky.
