However your page is 18 + so let's be real nobody under 18 should be reading your works and the whole point of a reader insert is to INSERT yourself in readers.
It's just rlly not sitting right for me.馃拃 I would say try to avoid a Wednesday x reader especially if you are over 18 and with no sort of clarification.馃槶

I understand your concerns are valid and also appreciate that you're trying to check. But I also feel like you're trying to insinuate a very predatory image of me when I've been clear on my blog about my stance.
Please actually read my navigation post. Nowhere on my blog states that it's an 18+ blog only. I have 18+ work but as stated in my navigation post and multiple posts in my past that minors are to not DNI with those. But I don't only post 18+ work which is why I welcome minors to my blog and read those as long as they respect my boundaries (which they have been very good at doing).
You've opened this pandora box about reader inserts. Yes, the point of Y/N fics are that people can try to imagine themselves, but not everyone does that. Also reader fics cannot cater to every single reader. That why I believe or see reader as an OC as if it were a traditional book published.
I want to know(but not really because I don't want to keep debating this with you) if you bring this energy to the entire marvel fandom as well. I can't assume how old you are but I hope you also then have concerns about:
marvel high school AUs
sugaring AUs that typically bring problematic age gaps
Aged up marvel character fics, specifically peter parker
minor fics that feature sexual situations with peter parker or MJ
Natasha is 32 in Black Widow, are you concerned about 18 yo reading reader inserts about Natasha. Are you even old enough to be with Natasha in fics if you self-insert.
Same with Wanda. MCU has aged her up and she's about 30. But there are also sites that state she's supposed to be around 17-19 in AoU.
fics where reader is a child or a relative of your marvel character but in a diff fic, you're dating her?
Do you just not read fics then if you just don't 100% see yourself as the reader? If you see POC!reader or you're pretty sure reader is white or different sexuality!reader do you just say fuck it, I can't support that it isn't me.
Were you out there when people were writing 1D fics or TVD.
Are you out there saying stuff to people who write for stranger things like Steve, Robin, or Nancy?
Prior to marvel, I've never written any reader insert fics as I typically came from fandoms where they were character x character ships. You can see my transition from earlier fics where initially did it as character x ofc/reader. Personally, I would prefer to continue to write distinct OCs for these characters if I don't lean towards any character ships. But I'm trying to reach a wider demographic by doing x reader fics.
Obviously, there is wenclair and I love to see it and maybe as they explore their relationship in season 2, it'll become canon.
I don't have a romantic interest in wednesday by writing these fics as I'll be tagging it as wednesday x OC/Reader for people who lean whatever way. But I'm still going to write it because I like wednesday as a character and the OC/reader I'll write her with is another 16 year old obviously because why would there be an adult as a student in nevermore. The fic will literally be harmless fluff between two 16 year olds.

Regine is Eugene's only daughter and Vega's childhood friend, though Vega honestly sees her more as a cousin. She's a beautiful young psychic with many secret admirers within Nevermore. She could easily be the new "Queen Bee", if only she didn't prefer to be cooped up in the academy's greenhouse. Vega has long given up making her tag along with her investigations, but she still somehow gets her involved with "gathering intel" sometimes. She gets even more involved after Sora inevitably transfers to Nevermore and becomes Regine's roommate.

I wanted to try designing my own Wenclair child OC so let me introduce Vega Addams!
She's a little feral genius. Black and pink are her signature colors, she loves conspiracy theories, and messing with students and school staff. Though she has the typical Addams black eyes, they glow the same shade of teal as Enid's when she's tapping into her wolf powers. Just like Gomez, her name is typically used for surnames and means "star" ;) (Morticia was given the honor of choosing)

what is your most favorite part of Vega? can be her personality, story, appearance etc.
Definitely her personality. It was a delicate thing to come up with.
I didn't want Vega to just be the sum of Wenclair's traits, or to simply pick and choose some traits from Wednesday then the rest from Enid to Frankenstein a personality (or appearance) for this child OC. Because that isn't really how children of parents work in real life. I wanted her to be some kind of amalgamated mixture that is both distinct from her parents but whose characteristics are unmistakably the result of being a child raised by people like Wednesday and Enid. Like how purple is it's own color, but is undeniably the result of blue and red coming together.(Am i making sense jsjsjsbs--)
So Vega has a happy disposition like Enid. And she loves the morbid like Wednesday. But she's also feral, even though neither Enid and Wednesday exactly are. It comes from Enid's passion and intensity despite her delicateness and Wednesday's love for chaos despite her reserved aura.
It's all just so fun trying to maintain that balance. In a way I'm getting to know her the same as you guys are as I try to figure her out.

anyways as a filipino its just so cool to see stuff with my culture in it (those posts abt the wenclair fam going to jollibee made me so happy!!!)
btw, what made u decide to create those characters as pugsley鈥檚 kids?
Something that I'll give the show props for is subverting what would usually be represented genderwise for monsters. Gorgons are usually women, but they had a boy be one(the only thing I like about him--). And there isn't a lot of female werewolves out there in media. And I'm not talking about stories that are about werewolves. Cuz yknow. Duh of course there'd be female werewolves. But I'm talking about stories about monsters. If you have a show about different monsters or fantasy characters and there's a werewolf, they'd usually give you an angsty and/or wild dude as the main werewolf.
But Wednesday's(the show) main werewolf is a happy girly girl. The only other similar instance I can think of at the top of my head is Ruby from Once Upon A Time. That's probably why the twist in Ruby's episode was so shocking. You expect the dude to be the werewolf. Not the femme girl who dyes the tips of her hair and would probably cry if she ruins her manicure.
Anyways. Monsters that are always majorly represented by one gender is boooorrriiiiiing. Let's mix it up a little.

So! About Pugsley's kids!
I'm not sure about the B&W series, but in the animated movies, Pugsley's a bit of a hopeless romantic. So growing up, I like to think he got around. The problem is he also has terrible luck with women, so none of them lasted, not because he's fickle -- he would fall in love deeply every single time -- but because he just has dog shit luck. He is Fester's nephew after all. So all three kids are Pugsley's from different baby mommas. I'll talk more about em later.
As for what made me choose em
Dante - I've previously mentioned that I headcanon Pugsley as a pyrokinetic because of his love for explosives. I think it'd be neat if he had a girlfriend who came from literal hell and had a baby demon with her
Jasper - some time back when the fandom was still super active, people making their nevermore sona was a trend on twitter. I actually wanted to join and have mine be a manananggal, but I couldn't because I was both busy and was never really a fan of drawing myself(not cuz of like self esteem issues. im pretty darn cute actually! i just prefer to draw other people). but i still wanted to draw a manananggal in Nevermore, and I figured just having it be an OC for Pugsley's child is the perfect opportunity
Briar - those faceless students are sooo damn cool. I love them a lot. I wanted more from them in the show. So I'm just making the content I craved for. Also a faceless little girl whose aunt is Wednesday, pokerface queen, and looks up to her for it? Too funny and cute of a thought to me.

Am I right about you having an AU about Wednesday Addams as an adult having to werewolf kids and one is called Vega?
Because that idea is very interesting because you know we always get to see her as teen so seeing her in her probably mid-30s is very refreshing and something new.
