Diablesa author here: thank you for your encouragement! I’m rewriting chapters to show a lot of new and a bit of old, like Hermes battling stuff like alcoholism (since her past four years have been a little rocky) her slowly coming around to Dom & co., and a little bit of stand activity from the other characters. I’m rewatching part 3 so I’m thinking I can pull off a gang member that’s chasing after Hermes and she’s none the wiser because she thinks her new life is perfect now with her husband and her new friends, but that’s kinda dipping into spoiler territory lol.

Hey, so, I’m the Author of La Diablesa De Mexico, the WeatherMes fic on AO3, and I’ve heard from someone that they recommended my fic to you.

First off, I wanna say, thank you to the anon that recommended it and thank you for your enthusiasm about wanting to read it! I do wanna say that I am heavily rewriting the first chapters, meaning I’m scrapping most of what I originally wrote and replacing it with updated lore so I feel like it can suit the story better, you know? I want to wrap up the first Arc in a satisfying, sensible way.

If you have read it a bit, then I would suggest rereading the first two chapters again (honestly, it’s just chapter 2 you gotta reread, chapter 1 is a little bit edited) as I rewrote that chapter.

Yeah, that’s all I wanted to say lol. I’m working on the next few chapters as we speak, but in the meantime, it’s on hiatus until I rewrite the older chapters so they can be up to quality with the newer ones.

im pretty much open to plenty of ships bc i don't really have any solid hardcore 'i will die if i don't see them being happy together' other than jonaeri and yasugap...Although i recently i've been getting into jolysui (and toootally not bc i have an oc i smoosh with them defff not)...Ig the only other ship i midly like is my crackship of melone and illuso bc i just think they're neat.

i do see the appeal tho: quiet emo guy x rowdy tomboy girl is a v nice thought. And tomboy who gets flustered easily by quiet guy who lets her into his heart...v tasty stuff such as that.

Lately, I've been reading a pretty captivating jjba fanfiction and it made me realise something:

Weathermes is a really interesting ship and we need more content related to it!

How would you think a yandere WeatherMes would work? I like to think that Weather is his usual self, but he’s super smart and cunning under all his amnesia.

He’ll flirt with Hermes in weird ways like sniffing her hair and touching her unused panties. He’ll learn small things about her that she didn’t know about herself.

I feel like Hermes would keep this to herself and not tell others because she doesn’t want to be seen as weak and cause a riff in the team, so she just deals with it and eventually tells Weather off in private.

Weather didn’t like how his hunny raised her voice at him. So he had to taught her a few lessons on how to be a good wife.

Hermes is now a very quiet woman, only sticking to Weather and only being seen with Weather everywhere she went. There’s a certain pain in her eyes, as they’re now dull when they used to be full of light. Weather will still let Hermes hang with Jolyne and Foo, but in very limited time.

Hermes doesn’t want to anger Weather, so she just puts her head down and follows what he says. No matter how much it pains her inside.

I, too think weather is quite smart despite the amnesia. I think his primary tactic would be intimidation when he's upset. But then on the flip side, he's super loving and caring, so it kinda throws Hermes for a loop. I don't think Wes is the type of person to raise a hand against the person he loves, but other people that might get in the way? Not a problem.
