#Kirby#Kirby fanart#my art#comic#Meta Knight#Nightmare#merry Christmas here’s the next page#it’s after midnight now here where I live but let’s just pretend I posted this a few minutes earlier lmao#as you can see I cannot draw fighting scenes at all but I tried my best here#I tried to portray all of the attacks Nightmare can do in his orb form#this is also my explanation for why Meta Knight doesn’t have wings/doesn’t use his wings in Kirby’s Adventure#I’m not totally sure if the wings are part of him or if they’re his cape turning into wings since that seems to vary game to game#but for the purposes of the comic the wings are a part of him he loses them here but they grow back later#I noticed that Galacta Knight’s wings come off in the cutscene after you beat him in Meta Knightmare Ultra#so I thought what if something similar happened to Meta Knight#on the next page we’ll see how Meta ended up on Popstar and we might see a few familiar faces#Knightfall in Dream Land

So Higuchi’s situation in the Mafia really reminds me of how Chuuya joined the Mafia in certain ways.
So Higuchi:
Apparently quickly rose up the ranks of the PM to become a superior to several subordinates
Is close to only a select few PM members
Is not considered well suited to the Mafia business for one reason or another
Wants to leave the Mafia (and knows it’s possible)
Chooses not to leave the Mafia because of the people she is close to and cares for
And when she needed help most, received the back-up she needed from PM members who like and support her because that’s what the Mafia does
This is pretty similar to what Chuuya went through in Stormbringer (except you know, no torture or absolutely heartbreaking events and decisions like he went through — only her enemies died in the chapter I’m thinking of that focused on her).
Sure, Chuuya had some deliberate goals when joining the Mafia, but he seems to have accomplished all those goals and stays anyway since he considers them family, cares for them, and doesn’t have any other place to go.
I just found it interesting and wonder what that says about both their characters and their potential arcs.

I haven’t yet decided how I’m going to be posting about Missing Link (whether to do it here or on my actual KH blog, how much to really say, etc.) - but you can rest assured that I definitely will once I start playing it, since I once again got into the beta test
#if only to show off arete and nothing else#heart of the void#child: calamitous excellence (arete)#selfshipping fankids#since that’s what they are! but I will also use them as my player character for missing link (unlike how I used aria for unchained/union x)#although.. so far I’ve seen a total of about three new story points that weren’t in the previous version#and one of them.. TENTATIVELY.. might give me reason to be present as aria#I don’t think I can really work out the story logistics until the full game comes out but. we’ll see. anything could happen#it’s kingdom hearts after all#of hearts and friendship (kingdom hearts)
