It's still a bit early.... Give it some time. Most of the December releases have kept their slots...for NOW... 👀 I don't think The Color Purple should be delayed YET tbh. It has the GLORIOUS slot of December, which is PERFECT for family films, Christmas films, lots of people off work and also off school, and it is the great "OSCAR RACE" coveted period, because the film is still relatively "new" and fresh in people's minds for Oscar voting time. So, I wouldn't move Color Purple just yet Anon.
This thing might be over come November, and the cast might be able to promote like normal. I think some are still hoping it will be over by October.
I know one thing, come September, there is going to be HUGE pressure for the studios to make a negotiation, cuz that's when the new line-up of new shows and seasons is supposed to start. People are gonna start getting upset if these studios are still pussy-footing around lol.
