//UPDATE: This blog will be inactive for the time being due to IRL college stuff and also me not having as much interest in this vs. other things for now
Hey, you!
This is the official blog for Mauville Fix Shop, the city's BEST electronics repair store for Pokédex devices, PokeNavs, Pokégears, Pokétches, and other devices! If you're in need of a fix for your tech, head on over to our store at 310 Violet Street today!
...
OK, now that my manager is satisfied with the draft, I can work on the actual post! I'm Nick Docomo (he/him), age 19.
I'm the designated account manager for Mauville Fix Shop's Tumblr blog since I'm already on here... a little bit much. Moving along, I also work on old-model Pokénav repairs part-time. Primarily, though, I'm a student at Mauville Technical College majoring in electrical engineering!
To top off my resume, I'm training to be the next Mauville gym leader under Swell Shock Wattson (look, he set that as his Trainer's Eyes title and I've gotta roll with it). My team right now is:
Day (♂) the Heliolisk: My starter and current strongest team member, Day is an incredible attacker when the sun's up! Very friendly out of battle, too.
Bhaskara the Heat Rotom: It would watch the world burn just out of curiosity of what happens after. I respect its commitment to science regardless. After being given a smart oven from Wattson (who incorrectly predicted it would talk), Wattson gifted it to me.
Amp (♀) the Raichu: I caught her as a Pikachu 2 years ago on a field trip to the Safari Zone. She's a crafty little Pokémon, which is sometimes good for me but not when she pranks me, the team, or anyone else really.
Ohm (♀) the Flaaffy: An old man working at the Day Care on Route 117 just gave me an egg 4 years ago and Ohm was the Mareep that ended up hatching. She's on the sterner side of things, but not hostile.
Jet (♀) the Fletchling: I noticed that as a Fire type specialist I have a lot of Electric types so I searched for a member of the Fletchling to tip the scales back to Fire. I caught Jet very recently, but her battle-hunger’s already on full display, especially when she wants to battle Day.
Other facts about me:
I'm 5'8", have black hair and brown eyes, and slightly tan skin.
I'm nearsighted as the planet is large. I don't like it, but it's not too bad when I have my glasses.
Screw Macro Cosmos, I support the right to repair!
I'm a member of my college's second-best trivia team as well as the college's best Voltorb Flip player!
Mauville Fix Shop has been offering free 1-year warranty on all Pokédexes repaired for students at our shop! (See I'm promoting the store, can't fire me for THAT!)
OOC: Hi, @zeep-zorp-zop here on my debut Rotomblr blog! My pronouns are he/him (although any are fine), and I'm an adult. Like I said in the blog description, I will NOT be tagging for unreality, so here's another notice. If there's anything I missed that you need me to clarify, just send an ask or message!
This blog is fairly canon-flexible in that Nick will be able to interact with many other blogs’ canons, but Nick generally isn’t aware of whenever a person is a canon-outsider (in terms of Nick’s universe). About Nick’s own canon, the awakening of Primal Groudon and Kyogre hasn’t happened yet, and as such Nick may not take Teams Aqua and Magma seriously or be open to accepting them.
Whenever Nick says he’s a Fire type specialist, it’s for a type-specialty swap for Muse Mixup Madness (he usually considers himself an Electric type specialist).
I’m generally accepting of Pelipper mail, but on days that’s not the case I’ll post so here.
In-character reblogs will be tagged as “ic reblog” and/or “nick reblogs”, and posts that will be relevant for a later story/post or will reveal an important aspect of Nick’s character will be tagged as “blog development”. “nick’s answers” will be for in-character answered asks.

this is officially the stupidest play that i have ever come up with in pokemon
fighting wattson
open with my beautifly
hopefully, this will bait an electric-type attack, so i'll swap to my pikachu
pikachu has lightning rod, gets +1 sp atk and is immune to all electric attacks
she has a silk scarf and echoed voice, a special move that increases in damage each turn
my cosplay pikachu is hopefully going to sing wattson to death

Brendan Birch in AG 041 - "A Poké-BLOCK Party!"
Now this is something that i just recently thought about regarding the whole time travel stuff. And this recently new idea is putting Brendan Birch into the episode: AG 041 - "A Poké-BLOCK Party!"; therefore giving him an additional episode to be in.
Now the episode will be the same as before; the only difference is that Brendan Birch would be in Alanna’s place throughout the episode.
As for how Brendan would be in the episode, here’s how: After beating Wattson in a Gym Battle, Brendan would head to the Trick House for a little fun and to take a little break from his journey on collecting the Hoenn Gym Badges.
At the Trick House, Brendan comes across Ash, May, Max, and Brock, who also want to join in the fun at the Trick House. After some catching up, Brendan decides to join Ash, May, Max, and Brock.
As for Alanna, she’d be the one to win the prize in the end; and she’d still be accompanied by her Whismur.
So, with all this in mind, just below is the whole summary on Brendan’s role in AG 041 - "A Poké-BLOCK Party!".
Brendan meets up with Ash, May, Max and Brock outside of the Trick House. Like them, he wants to enter the Trick House contest in order to win the one-year supply of Pokéblocks. However, Brendan also wants to join the Trick House contest as a way of having fun and taking a little break from his journey on collecting Hoenn Gym Badges. He is accompanied by his Spheal. Brendan seems to be a fan of The King of Tricks, admitting that he’s eccentric and fun, while May thinks he’s crazy. During the maze portion of the Trick House, Brendan becomes separated from his Spheal. Team Rocket wastes no time and uses this opportunity to steal Spheal, hoping to give it to their boss. However, when the trio eventually finds their way out the maze, Brendan sees that they had his Spheal, but because Team Rocket are wearing disguises, he thinks that they had rescued it. Brendan continues to stick with Ash and his friends through the rest of the Trick House. However, they keep getting sabotaged by Team Rocket. The trio eventually attempt to steal Brendan’s Spheal and Ash's Pikachu again. This time, Ash and Brendan battle them and send Team Rocket blasting off. Unfortunately, none of them reach the end of the Trick House first, as a girl named Alanna is the winner.
And as for how I’d accomplish this goal, I thought that instead of doing an entire plot script, I thought i’d leave a very important note.
Edit: Now, I haven’t figured out what that note would say (when translated in English), but don’t worry; once I think of what that note would say, I’ll update this post, so stay tuned for that. ^^

Okay Wattson has multiple new pokemon.
Voltorb is the first one, which then evolved into Electrode.
He then raises a mareep into ampharos
Then he gets himself a Pikachu, evolves that into Raichu.
And finally, he gets an Electabuzz. It hasn't evolved from an elekid though, so I'm guessing it's a pokemon Wattson would use on the side.

Just add Wattson to the growing list of Hoenn gym leaders destroyed by Pikachu.

PokéAni Trivia Thursday [#42]
In the episode where Ash faced Gym Leader Wattson in the Hoenn region, it was actually the last time to date when Ash has “won” a Gym Badge in the same episode in which he meets the Gym Leader. Usually when he meets a Gym Leader prior to the actual Gym battle episode. In other interesting notes about this episode, it is also the first time Ash has “won” a Gym battle without any of his Pokémon being defeated (this excludes 1-on-1 battles). This is also the only Gym battle that Ash won using only one Pokémon, once again excluding one-on-one battles. However, do note that Pikachu’s electric attacks were overcharged and that the official battle was a bit unfair to Wattson. ⚡️
Then again, it was the gym leader’s fault for setting up booby traps that made Pikachu that way and wiped out his Pokémon completely. So, did Ash really deserve that badge? Wattson still thinks so, after they save the Pokémon at the power plant Team Rocket was trying to steal. They do have a proper regular battle later on in the series (the gang were going back to Mauville City) when Wattson battled with his Manectric, but Ash actually lost that one.
