Everyone freaking the heck out about Anduin having short hair, it doesn't look like Anduin, he's missing something iconic to his character - when that's the exact point. He literally says he is not that person anymore. He has been having a permanent breakdown for years, you can tell he chopped that shit off in a feat of mental anguish. He's trying to remove himself as much as he possibly can from who and what he was. The clean-shaven, long-haired royalty that had come before him. Varian, noble and just (at least in the later years), someone who he can't ever live up to after what he was forced to do. Then Arthas. It's been a HUGE thematic element, both broadly AND within Anduin's own mental turmoil. He is constantly compared to Arthas, both from others and to himself. There's a blatant allusion to Arthas himself in the War Within trailer! I miss the hair too but come on now people!!

i keep seeing ppl call new anduin ugly and im do like it and the meanings coming frm his new look but i can get why some dont but they also jus made him look kinda like his va so i keep feelin so bad fr him when i see so many posts callin the new look ugly sdhgjjhkdsgh

RIGHT like i mean first of all y'all do know that like. there's a face model for Anduins character right. you're aware of that? lol he does kinda look more like Josh now as well...

but yeah I get why people don't like the look, Anduins long blonde hair was pretty iconic to his character - I also miss the hair. its just that there's actually a thematic, story-driven reason for why he looks the way he does. it's the people whining that apparently he just looks generic now bc WoW wants a generic protag look, while completely ignoring... i mean, Anduins entire story. this is a very basic comparison (in my defense I don't feel good) but it's like people complaining about Mulan cutting her hair. like. there was a reason for that people lmfao there's more to his character than flowing gold locks lmfao

edit: I refuse to believe he is dead. There's no way they would just kill him off like this. Feels really bad if this is true though. Hasn't been confirmed. "They take a moment for Khadgar" he could've teleported at the last minute, for all we know
