Cracked from a shimmering pearl into the cold deception of a ship no longer home, that damned his ill-fated legacy. A lonely forgone dragon wanders a lifetime in purgatory, searching for hands to follow, for he was reborn into the dead silence of solitude. He stretched his inhuman heart as far as it could reach, enough for anyone to hold. But it twisted and tangled in thorns, cradled by serpents' eyes that prayed for his ruin. In brief moments of rest, his visions were suffocated with catastrophic destruction unbeknownst to the reincarnate. When he was eventually released, no one turned for him; a trail of fire he would have to walk alone, bleeding for repentance until his sin was permanently consumed by the collapsing universe.
A race cursed to live forever rarely knew joy or love to its full extent, as all things mortal would return to the ground beneath them. It wasn’t worth the attachment, nor the deserved doom of a man denied salvation.
Your arrival at the space station upturned his perception. He wasn’t sure why he yearned to be near you, why his senses craved your smell and sight. He had to distance himself from you as much as possible, but the melody of your pure voice stored a rhythm in his core that could not be removed. He lamented the blooming affection in his discernment. Often lying awake at night, struggling to satiate the urges.
To you, he was Dan Heng. The solemn, headstrong friend that seldom spoke in your presence. Your favorite pastime was playful banter; he rarely smiled, but it pulled at your heartstrings when the corners of his lips slightly lifted. When he picked at his food, you went out of your way to find out what he preferred and arranged your meals around his. You spent almost all of your time on the parlor car. That isn’t to say you weren’t interested in adventuring, you frequently noted the prettiest gems March showed you during their trips. You asked Dan about the stuff he enjoyed, but it’d usually amount to “I was too focused on staying alive to take in the scenery.” You recall entering your room after their return and noticed an iron scrap flower sitting on your windowsill. Dan nonchalantly admitted to the act, mentioning how he overheard your liking for metallic constructs. You originally thought this was simply an extension of your friendship, but the burning ache in your body spoke otherwise. The little things he did, such as bringing small gifts or ingredients for you to experiment with made you seek that numbed heart, imprisoned in ice.
Himeko joked about your sour mood whenever Dan Heng was gone. You read while she stared at you, amused by the pout on your face. “Hmm, your boy toy is missing. Feeling down?” Your head shot up, ears hot from the assumption.
“W-what? No, of course not. We’re friends, Himeko.” you panicked. She softly giggled.
“Don’t worry. They’re coming back soon.” You peeked up from the pages.
“...When?” you mumbled. “A few days. Now you can stop being so sad.”
Tumblr media
You were ecstatic when they arrived, ready to hear about their grueling journey, and more so happy to see Dan Heng. As March relived her storytelling, you observed him. He seemed to be in a trance. His expression was the same as always, but he felt disconnected from you, like he discerned a grim future. He didn’t come to dinner and went to sleep. When you asked March if something happened, she shifted uncomfortably but finally spoke.
“Dan Heng...he changed on the Xianzhou Luofu.” She’d conveniently left out most of the story.
“What do you mean ‘changed’?” you questioned, finding it hard to mask your worries. “He had horns and... It was all really new. I kinda wanna forget about it, too.” You didn’t pressure her for more information, and she went to her room shortly after.  You tossed in your sleep, wondering what he must’ve gone through, and what you could do to help him.
You awoke in an inky blue void, the stars cascading a brilliant aura across the night. There were no other planets visible; only the vast moon, a divinely warm glow, alluring and protective in your gaze. Heavenly bodies carried infinitely above, shaping the moon in its godlike image. You stood in a comparatively small pool of iridescent liquid that waterfalled off each side. It marbled from refracted shimmers, cool to the touch. Somehow life emerged in the barren quiet, white lotus’ decorating most of the area. They never spilled down the stream, as if they'd been waiting. In said pool, was a man with elvish ears and gleaming horns, kneeling turned away from you. His pale arms were shackled behind him, and his delicate hair cascaded down his naked back. If you listened closely, you could hear the faint sobs he tried to stifle. You wanted to comfort him, to calm his nerves. You took a step, and he stopped. He didn’t acknowledge you. You took another step, your hand wishing to touch him. Before you could, you phased out of your dream.
For the next two weeks, he didn’t leave his room. Not when you were around. At the same time, this reoccurring dream was plaguing your thoughts. It ended the same way each time. March aimed to console you, but you felt she knew more than she led on. Fatigued from your restless mind, you decide to talk to Himeko instead. She stirs her drink while Welt reads the paper.
“Good morning, (Y/N).” said Welt.
“Good...morning.” you yawned, rubbing your worsening eyebags.
“You don’t seem okay. Is everything alright?” Himeko asks, motioning for you to sit beside her.
“Something is wrong with Dan Heng and March isn’t telling me everything. I was hoping you would.” Welt clears his throat, sets the paper on the table and walks away. Himeko puts her hand on your knee.
“He’s feeling unwell right now. It’s best we don’t disturb him.”
“I’ve been having this weird dream, of a guy with horns. He’s crying. And I can’t save him. What does this mean? Why is everyone keeping this from me?” Alarm flashes in her expression, but she composes herself. She sucks in a deep breath. “Do you know what a Vidyadhara is?”
“No.”
“Vidyadhara descended from dragons, and they’re very powerful. Dan Heng is a special case of Vidyadhara, so we must treat him as such.”
“So why can’t I see him?”
“It’s important that we avoid him while he’s in the process of...getting through this.”
“But someone has to check on him, right? I could be the one to do it-”
“(Y/N). Dan Heng requested specifically, that I don’t allow you to see him.” You felt your heart pierce. You believed you were friends with him, so why was he forcing you away? “Oh. Okay.” you said meekly. You went back to your room to contemplate.
You were a ghost throughout the day, serving food in silence. When the crew went to bed you prepared a hearty soup to soothe whatever illness he had. He’d probably reject it, but the selfish side wanted to know why he was upset with you. Even if he didn’t have an answer, perhaps his voice would be adequate. Arriving at his door, you knock twice gently.
“I have some soup for you. Himeko said you were feeling ill. I won’t disrupt you, just want to make sure you’re eating.” He said nothing. “If you’re not hungry, let me know and I can store it for tomorrow. You can’t get better on an empty stomach.” You hear rustling inside, but he still said nothing.
“Did I do something wrong? I’m sorry if I did.”
“You didn’t do anything wrong, but I need you to go away.” His voice is feeble, and it scares you.
“Can I please leave this on your desk? I’ll go away right after, I promise.” You 're practically begging, but you need to see him and know he’s okay. Dan Heng’s weakening mindset rationalizes his risky judgement, and he allows you to come in. He should be able to defend you from himself with the strength he has left; there’s no other choice. “Okay.”
When you open the door, you’re horrified at the state. Books and precious documents were strewn across the floor or shredded, along with most of the blankets. He’s hunched over on the futon clenching his abdomen, strands of hair sticking to his shiny forehead and puffy lips. He was in a form you've never seen, dressed in elegance in contrast to his shaking figure. The clothes were disheveled, however, the window on his top ripped down the middle, exposing the muscular torso underneath with his pants pulled just under his v-line. He's flushed and sweating, a look in his eyes that both terrifies and excites you. What was most shocking were the pointy ears and horns protruding from his head. The same ones from your dream. He tracks you as you walk to his desk. He’s undoubtedly weak, and yet you feel hunted. You set the soup down.
“Shouldn’t you ask Bailu about this?”
“I did already. There’s nothing she can do. I have to wait.” You get on your knees next to him, and he recoils from your proximity.
“Wait for what?”
“I'm hot all over, all the time. Nothing I do works, even when I feel good it’s not enough.” he rasps. His eyes are shut in an attempt to null the intense sensation blazing in his veins. You ultimately realize what he means and regret your cluelessness. Still, you don’t leave, deconstructing his resolve. Suddenly, Dan Heng feels the tender press of your palm to his forehead; the touch of someone he could recognize in different timelines and different bodies. The scent of morning dew at early sunrise, the light in its darkness, bitter and sweet and persistent. He punished the thought of ravaging you, but the incessant thump of his member was staggering. He grabs your wrist tight, a guilty look in his eyes.
“I can’t control myself. Go. Now” he shouts. His anger doesn’t scare you, and your other hand caresses his cheek.
“Does it hurt? I can help you.” Dan Heng’s frozen as your fingers travel down his Adam's apple, then his chest, to the hem of his bottoms. He’s on his back taking deep labored breaths, the print growing from your airy brushes.
“I don’t want you to be in pain anymore.”
You spring his cock free, and it bounces into your hand. It’s thick and almost twelve inches, a rosy-brown gradient to the mushroom tip. His veins dance around the rounded spikes lining up his shaft on both sides. A frustrated sigh leaves him, beads of pre come dripping down his balls. You lubricate your hands with his slick and start to slowly pump him. His head is spinning, the intoxicating ecstasy makes him rut his hips and bite his blushed lips. You fondle his balls with one hand while massaging the tip with the other. Whimpers echo pleasantly in your ears, and he can’t stop watching you, drinking up your shy glances. It twitches in your hold; you can feel how close he is. He’s falling apart because of you and your dampened underwear accepts it. You push your thumb in his mouth and part it to reveal excessive drool and sharp canines.
“Do you like it?” you tease. He makes noise resembling an “uh huh” through teary eyes.
“You wanna come?” He quivers from the question. He can only manage a moan. You move to his base, and you slaver at the daunting size before running your tongue along the urethra and taking him in your mouth. He throws his head back but tries to restrain himself from bucking into you. You can barely get it halfway as his cockhead kisses the back of your throat. You hollow your cheeks and start bobbing your head, he trembles from unconstrained pleasure.
“Please, I’ll do anything please let me come” he whines, tears spilling down his cheeks. You move your hands with the suction along his gradually noisy whimpers, the occasional gag from sloppy grinding.
“Ah, ‘m gonna come-” he chokes, his chest hitched rapidly, spurting ropes that flood your throat. He rides the wave against you until you pull up. When you meet with him again, his demeanor changes. He instantly snatches you into his arms and smothers his nose in your stomach. He tears your clothes off impatiently, just to taste your bare skin. “Dan-”
“You smell so good. Aeons, why do you smell so good.” He gazes at you darkly, littering wet kisses across your stomach and chest. His slender hands grope and explore anything they can reach. It was like he had a burst of energy; he nearly lifts you off his lap. You notice his horns get progressively longer, a dim radiance outlining them. His nails grew too, they dragged light scratches over your breasts to your hips. He pulls you to him, lips barely hovering before they collide into a deep, passionate exchange. Unspoken words allow teeth and tongue to mix, and you moan into each other. The pheromones hugging his consciousness are addictive, he needs more of it. He promptly flips you on your back, his eyes look down on you with a starving glint.
“I’m hungry now.”
“Oh sure, I can warm up the-”
“No. Let me eat you.” His statement was more of a demand than a request, as he mangles your panties down your legs. He forces your thighs back and appreciates the glistening sticky folds. “Stunning” he purrs. He licks a flat strip to your clit and laps up your juices, then envelops his mouth in your heat. His firm squeeze prevents you from escaping the determined pink muscle, swirling and twisting around you. He switches between French kisses to your vulva and merciless sucking on the erect bud. He’d rather drown in you than catch his breath, your essence covers his jaw and chin. You card your fingers through his scalp and accidentally sweep his horns; he shudders. You rub the pad of your thumb on it, earning a strangled whimper. His tongue sinks into your passage and begins to move at a brutal pace. You tease the sensitivity in his horns, flicking and circling them. The vibrations from his moans rock against your walls and your hips stutter. “Ah- I’m close” you plead. He stimulates your clit, and you pulse around him before your back arches, and you unwind. His mouth is stitched to you as you try to wriggle out of his grasp. He continues to devour your climax. He hoists your lower half off the ground, savoring your honeyed desire, laughing from your overstimulated cries. You’re spasming and feel your heart racing in your ears. He stops at the approaching precipice and lays you down. Balmy kisses dot your knees.
“Please Dan Heng, more” you beg.
“(Y/N), I don’t want to hurt you.” He's throbbing, and he straightens your legs to roll his hips between your thighs. The plush fat cuddles his cock and he pants. You grab his hand.
“It’s okay, I’m yours. I know you don’t mean to hurt me.”
“But-”
“I love you” you blurt out. “Please, I want to have this with you. I can handle it, I promise.” Your vulnerability surprises you, and he stops.
“You...love me?” he questions. For a split second, you see sadness and despair. No one stood to consider an exile incapable of love, but you did. No one bothered to defrost the drifting hollow, but you did. The undying weeps.
“I love you. I would destroy every star and planet in your name. Carve your worth into the cosmos so that even Fuli could worship your memory. I am yours in its entirety, and I’ll only live for you.” You wipe the tears as they come down and kiss his troubles away.
“I want you inside me” you whisper. He stands and scoops you up, his hands on your ass and your arms around his neck. He aligns his tip with your sex and lowers you into the plunge. The stretching blaze of your walls accommodating his girth is excruciating.
“Is this okay?”
“Yes.” You give him a reassuring smile. He’s stuffing you full, the spikes knead your inner walls the deeper he goes. He bottoms out and stays there for a while.
“Tell me when to move” he soothes.
“Go ahead.” He starts an unrelenting tempo, and you grip him like a vice, your arousal drenching his balls. The thundering sound of desperate huffs and squelching, smacking flesh is almost embarrassing; you both don’t care, indulging each other. You could’ve sworn you saw something similar to a dragon's tail swaying behind him, or maybe your mind played tricks on you. Strings of saliva connect his fangs, eyes cloudy with carnal impulse and cock twitching from the friction. He can see the bulge snapping in and out of your stomach and groans.
“Deeper.” He pulls out and lays you on the futon before positioning you in a mating press. In one swoop he jackhammers your cunt, balls swinging and ragged breath on your ear. His hair blankets you and you soak in his sweating physique, his needy appearance.
“Gonna breed this pretty pussy” he moans. Eyeing the unoccupied space on your neck, he salivates. You guide his lips to your neck, encouraging him, and he takes the bait. He ruptures the skin with sharp teeth; harsh puncture wounds remain. He licks the blood away, adamant on claiming you. The spikes massage your g-spot, and your eyes loll back, pleasure and pain blurring. Dan Heng loses his composure, frenetic thrusting as he chases his release.
“I’m gonna come!”
“That’s it, come with me, my love” he groans. You see black as tremors overtake you and a stream of squirt coats you both. Your wails flow into the halls. Your contracting vulva sends him over the edge, and he finally comes undone, painting your insides to the hilt. You milk every last drop of his gushing seed, and he jerks a few times until limp. The creamy, swelling base pushes your folds to capacity. It's barbed wire in your gut. He strokes and kisses your face.
“I'm sorry, it’ll go down soon.” With your legs wrapped around him and his head snug against your cheek, you weren’t sure if you wanted it to go down.
His curse may not be lifted through your embrace. But in your arms, his shackles don't feel as heavy.

Clingy Jing Yuan
Warnings: None.
Tumblr media
“But love-“
“Jing Yuan.” You huff, attempting to pry the large male off of you. Your arms pushed at his chest gently as he resisted, a pout on his face. “Last time I checked, today isn’t one of your off days. Go back to work and stop clinging onto me.”
“But I missed you, my beloved. Is it a crime to seek out the affection of my lover?”
“It is when you’re slacking off. You still have lots of paperwork left to finish, love.”
Jing Yuan grinned in amusement, eyes with a glint of mischief. Even as the general of Xianzhou Luofu with countless duties everyday he still found time to come cling to you. Who knew such a high standing man could be so needy? He wrapped his strong, muscular arms around your waist and pulled you in, smiling teasingly.
“Perhaps I’d resume my work if you offered me some motivation.”
That little…
You glared up at him as he smiled innocently. He continued, in an attempt to persuade you.
“Just one kiss, my dear.”
“Do you promise?” You looked him with suspicion, watching as his golden irises made eye contact with yours.
“I promise.”
“Fine… but you better keep your side of the deal. Otherwise, Fu Xuan will yell at you for two hours again.” You scolded, wrapping your arms around his neck and leaning in slowly. Jing Yuan grinned, eagerly lowering his arms to rest on your waist and shutting his eyes, puckering his lips.
As you both leaned in to close the distance, a knocking was heard at the door. With a mildly irritated look, Jing Yuan ignored it, while you attempted to pull away from him.
“Yes? Who is it?”
“Ah, Y/n! I’m sorry for interrupting, but have you seen the general around?” Replied a young male voice from the other side of the door- Yanqing. The poor boy sounded tired and worried, most likely having been scolded by Fu Xuan to find your slacker of a boyfriend.
Jing Yuan continued to ignore his student’s questioning, instead opting to continue leaning closer to your face and receiving his well earned kiss. You scowled at him in annoyance and once again attempted to push said male away.
“Jing Yuan… not now. Yanqing and Fu Xuan are looking for you. I’ll give you a kiss later, but for now return to work!” You scolded him lightly, whispering in his ear for him to hear.
He pouted once more, refusing to let go of you and wrapped his arms around your form tighter like a cat refusing to let go of their owner.
“Tell him we’re busy… I’ll return in a few minutes, my dear.”
“Y/n?”
“Ah, sorry Yanqing.” You apologized, “I haven’t seen him around. Have you checked the botanic garden?”
The young boy’s voice perked up, “Ah, no I haven’t! I completely forgot to check there. Thank you Y/n, I’ll go look right now!” Footsteps were heard running off into the distance as you sighed and looked at your lover who held a smug look on his face.
“My s/o has such a kind and beautiful heart for me after all. Now, let’s resume what we agreed upon my dear…”
“Fine, but you better get back to work after this! I’m not covering for you next time.”
With that he captured your lips in a soft but passionate kiss. His hands pulled you in closer by the waist so that your chests touched as his hands wandered. You gasped as you felt his hands lower as you pushed him away and swatted at him.
“YANQING! FU XUAN! HE’S HERE I FOUND HI-“
“I’m going, I’m going my love! Quiet dow- Ah… Fu Xuan. What a pleasant surprise.”
“…General. In your office. Now.”

Reader being old lady, just chuckle and accept it. Thinking that he’s joking, which he doesn’t.
P/s: Foxian reader is 200 years old when she met child Sunday.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Sunday name is --- cause we don't his name. I'll update it if we find out
I wanna make Masterlist but I'm lazy
Sunday x Foxian Reader
𓆪♡𓆩 - Sunday 𓆪(´◡`)𓆩
After two centuries in life you have secured an office desk position in the Sky-Faring Commission. It was assumed to be an impressive standard as being 200 years old and earning a position in the commission wasn’t exactly easy. By most Xianzhou standards, you were still quite young for a position in a commission such as the Sky-Farring.
Yukong had announced that day that a class of elementary students from Penacony would be visiting the Luofu on a field trip to observe and explore the different types of planetary governments. With the recent surge of traffic and reckless driving, the workload has become too much of a pain, causing you to ditch the responsibility to tour guide these kids around.
“Miss?” a soft voice interrupted your train of thought, followed by a soft gentle touch on your tail. Turning around you spot a kid who's clearly not a Xianzhou local, hugging your soft tail and stroking it as if it were a pet. “I can’t find my sister.”
His eyes reflected with worry while explaining that he was separated from the group when he promised to retrieve his sister’s stuffed bunny. You knelt down to his level and looked at him in the eyes expressing a deep sense of worry.
“They’re with Madam Yukong… Do you know her by any chance?” You carefully brush your tail away from his hands seemingly disappointed as you do so.
“I heard of her only. Miss Foxian can you please help me find her?” The child pleading eyes tugged at your heartstrings. Those wings by his ears fluttered. How adorable! You only heard of Halovians but never in your two centuries of life have you seen one!
“Of course. What’s your name?” You questioned the child with a tenderful smile who could be no older than eight.
His eyes sparkled with the sweetest yet sheepish smile. He was not entirely comfortable around adults. “My name is —-,” he answered, his gaze lingering on top of your head with those soft fox ears and then towards your tail. Sunday could just imagine snuggling his small body against that cozy tail of yours! “Miss Foxian I’ve never seen your kind before if you don’t mind…” his voice trails off, his cheeks flustered, too embarrassed to finish his words.
You understood exactly what he meant! He wanted to pet you. You reassured him, “I’ve never seen a Halovian before. You are truly angelic and adorable!” You pinched his cheeks softly with a gleaming smile. You can if I get to touch those wings.”
His hands immediately lung forward towards your ears. His small soft hand wandered around your head and tail petting you down like a dog. “Foxian are truly gorgeous,” he remarked.
You couldn’t help but heave out a soft chuckle ruffling his head. Slowly, reaching your hands to his wings. You pitched them between your fingers. His gaze remains on you admiring your beauty. He knew right there you were his dream girl. Even if it might be a silly little childish crush you were too kind and gorgeous.
In the end you found out his elementary was on the whole other side of the Luofu. You couldn’t leave your station you had to remain here and work! You attempted to slove this by handing Sunday to the cloudknights so they can bring him back to the group. Yet whenever you bring Sunday towards them his small arms clung around your shoulders refusing to let you hand him over to them.
He would cry on your shoulders when you did. Maybe he was just shy as he claimed but truth to be told Sunday wanted to spend more time with you!
When he had to leave he was sobbing. It broke your warm big heart! His sister held Sunday’s hands trying to comfort him. It was a rare sight to see him cry according to his sister and classmate.
“Miss next time we meet! I promise we’ll get married!” Sunday delacred with a mix of sincerity and childish innocence. He wiped his tears before reluctantly getting escorted away by his teacher.
You chuckled at his pouting and whining being carried away by his teacher.
To you those words were nothing more than a childish promise. A broken promise that you will never remember. Would you even remember him? You know you could not defy the ethics of this universe. Long life species should never love a short life.
Many years later you've looked at your office desk. You managed to climb the rankings just slightly. A letter sitting innocently on your desk waiting to be opened.
An invitation from The Family? Surprised The Family will personally invite you. You thought they would invite someone like Fu Xuan or Jing Yuan but you? Was there a catch?
Nevertheless you gladly accept it because many with spend their savings to visit. You're visiting for free and you get a VIP room. Extra special VIP! And it was personally written by Representative Sunday. The man managing the festival! How nice. Do you even remember him? He felt like a distant memory.
You immediately step foot into Penacony from your private transportation provided from The Family. How generous The Family always treats their guests so well!
“Oh the important guest Mr. Sunday mentioned! It's an honor to meet an important guest of Mr. Sunday,” the receptionist charmed in with a gleeful smile.
You stood there confused. Did the Luofu Sky-Faring Commission have an important affairs you never knew of or an important meeting? You thought to yourself. You've only heard of Sunday and seen him in the news, yet you felt like you knew him before. Even if you did it be when he was a child.
“Someone will escort you right up ahead,” the receptionist spoke to you in such great manner.
Members from the Bloodhound escorted you with great caution. So much it intimidated you slightly. Suddenly they paused in their steps at a door. This was the hotel room? So different from the others.
You stepped inside once they told you to.
“Greetings Miss Foxian it's been a while,” a calm voice came in front of you. A man sitting on a chair leg crossed staring at the many TV screens flashing in front of him and you.
He stood up and turned facing towards you waiting for you to inch closer.
“Mr. Sunday? Is there something important we need to discuss?”
“No happy smile? Oh no this just can't do. You don't remember me don't you?” He stood towering over you. “Don't tell me you erased our special memories together. That promise.”
A frown replaced the calm smile. It was a custom for the Xianzhou to erase painful or parts of their memories to prevent Mara.
“Why those memories?” He whispered in your ears tenderly stroking your fluffy ears on your head. That touch felt familiar. He smiled again. Something about the smile was unsettling. “No worries The Family is experts when it comes to regaining lost memories.”
Memories came flashing in you. This was all confusing yet familiar. Too much you passed out. Sunday swiftly got hold of your body putting you in the dreamscape.
You opened your eyes. Your body felt weird almost like you were in a dream.
“How are you my little Fox?” He kissed your cheeks. He held you on his lap. His lips formed a smirk.
“See I kept my promise til the end,” his hands traced up your thighs keeping a firm grip on your waist.
He lifted you off his lap, setting you to sit on his fancy chair. He got on one knee eyeing you as he presented a ring in a white and golden box with a beautiful shiny diamond ring in the middle! The diamond ring has angel wings on it like his to show ownership towards you.
“Will you marry me my dear Fox?”
It was more of a demand than a question. Sunday wasn't the young boy you knew before. He always kept his words even if they were a childish dream. But he lived in a dream, the dreamscape so anything is possible.
He puts the cold ring on your ring finger, leaned in and kissed you lips. Sweet and short.

from me, the moon
Pairing: Jing Yuan x Reader Warnings: hanahaki, angst!, implies happy ending though dw i'm not feeling THAT cruel tonight, mentions of death (no actual death) Word Count: ~2.4k A/N: spirit waking up from a nap after a midterm: omg hanahaki with jing yuan!!
Tumblr media
To you, the sun,
You feel it before you realize it has struck you. That feeling in your chest that has begun to blossom when you're in the presence of the Jing Yuan. You become acutely aware of the way your heart thunders when he's near, the way you quiet down when he laughs to hear him, and the horrifying realization that yes, you are in love with him.
I would like to apologize in advance.
But honestly, who isn't? Who wouldn't fall in love with such a gentle soul dedicated to protecting those he loves. The sacrifices he's made for the Xianzhou Luofu are found in the warm smiles, greetings, and gifts that he receives from the people. He's effortlessly handsome, with his hair pulled back, but not enough to keep some of his hair from falling in front of his eyes. It feels like a privilege to get a glimpse of those eyes of his, pools of melted gold that soften when they fall upon those who hold a special place in his heart. you wonder what it would be like to be on the receiving end of such a look.
In the privacy of your own home, you allow yourself a moment of indulgence, to live in the fantasy of walking at his side, listening to the hum that builds from his chest as he nods along to what you would say. You imagine what it would be like to trace your hands along his skin, to cup his cheeks and turn him to face you so you can memorize his features. you wonder what it would feel like to feel his hands wander, if he could be as gentle with you as the way he holds the birds that seem to gravitate towards him.
I’m sure you’re upset, and you have every right to be. But I’ve made my bed, and it’s my time to lie in it.
Flower petals, splattered with droplets of blood, make their appearance for the first time that day.
I’m sorry.
An ancient curse, is what Bailu calls it, fixing you with a concerned stare. You can only laugh dryly at your luck, of course it would be you to have come down with some ancient curse that has caused you to cough out petals. You keep it to yourself, cradle half-bloodied flowers in your hands as you make excuses as to why you can’t join your friends for lunch, or why you can’t spend a morning to spar or play chess with the General. The less they know the better. (Right?)
Individual petals become clumps, and the clumps become half-made flowers. And by the time that the ever-attentive general decides to confront you about the sudden change in your behaviour, you're close to coughing out full flowers.
"Are you alright?" Jing Yuan asks as you sit across from him, cup of tea in your hands as you sit with your eyes closed, reveling in the warmth of your drink and that of his presence. "I haven't seen you around much. you're not avoiding me, are you?" Despite the chuckle that falls from his lips as he finishes speaking, you can still hear the hints of worry that he fails to hide. You suppose that's the result of knowing him for so long, the result of loving him for so long.
I wish I had the courage to admit it to you in person.
"I wouldn't be here if I was avoiding you," you hum, opening your eyes to meet his. Your chest tightens when you see the concern in his eyes seem to melt away. The last thing you want is to worry him, and you hope that your attempt at banter will at least deter him for the meanwhile. but Jing Yuan is quiet, more so than usual. He spends longer studying you, making you squirm under his watchful gaze until you chide him for thinking too much.
"Well, I can tell something's on your mind, Strale for your thoughts?" he wants to know what's going on in your mind. He's not stupid, and is far too attentive to the way you seem to keep yourself at bay, holding your tongue and sipping tea as if it would keep you from speaking.
Funny how you called me the bravest you knew, and yet the one time when I should have come clean, I couldn’t bring myself to say anything.
"I think I might be stricken with mara." Out of the corner of your eyes you see him stiffen. You look down at the steam that curls from your cup, caressing your face as if knowing that the man next to you wouldn't do the same.
Forceful laughter is pushed from his lips. “Don’t play jokes on me, dear. Have you come down with a cold? I know some of the Cloud Knights are out sick because of some bug that has gone around. You must have caught it when we sparred with them.” Your silence gnaws at Jing Yuan, and he can feel anxiety bubbling in his chest. It begins to grow when you turn away from him to take a breath. He watches, almost in slow motion, as you set your cup aside and look at him.
Thank you, Jing Yuan, for being my friend.
There is acceptance in your eyes, and Jing Yuan’s mouth goes dry. “Are you certain? Have you been diagnosed by a doctor? I can call for my doctor, I’m sure it’s not mara-struck—”
“Jing Yuan. There’s no other explanation,” neither of you can tell if the softness of your tone is an attempt to comfort yourself or him. His palms feel sweaty, the lump in his throat lodged so that words fail to come forth. He doesn’t like the way you say his name like this. It doesn’t roll off your tongue the way it usually does, and he finds himself grasping at anything to urge you to tell him that you might be wrong.
His desk becomes stacked with papers and reports about the mara-struck. The archivists watch as he spends longer nights conducting research, hair slipping from its hold as for the first time in years, the great General of the Xianzhou Luofu begins to lose a grasp on his composure. He calls upon Fu Xuan to divine what she can, and yet the grimace on her face paired with her admittance that the future is too foggy for her to divine makes his heart drop.
I have loved you longer than you could imagine. Thank you for allowing me to be at your side for as long as I did. I will treasure these memories forever, no matter where I am.
He finds himself alone in his room, head in his hands as he sits at his desk. Your medical reports, handed to him by your own hands, are missing something. There’s something you’re hiding from him and he needs to know what it is. For the first time, he begins to doubt the words you’ve said to him. You’ve had no reason to lie to him thus far, so why does it feel like you’re trying to hide something serious.
He lets the anxiety fester before finally, Yanqing is the one who forces him to his feet to find the only doctor he hadn’t visited yet. Jing Yuan watches as Yanqing lets his own worries and fears come spilling out and he realizes how much your condition has affected others. He chides himself for selfishly thinking that he was the only one trying to find a cure for your illness.
“They’re growing weaker,” Yanqing bites the inside of his cheek. “I went to visit them but I didn’t see any signs of Mara on their skin. But the Vidyadhara doctor, Bailu, was there. She gave me this letter and asked me to give it to you. She left in a hurry, but maybe we can ask her about them, right General?” There’s hope in the boy’s tone as if he too, was trying to grasp at anything to make sense of sudden fall to this illness. So clearly, a visit to the energetic doctor is next.
By this time, I’m sure you’ve uncovered the truth. The extent of my lies can only extend so far. I’m sure Bailu has spoken to you already. Be kind to her, will you?
“Mara? No, who told you that? That’s ridiculous, have you seen them? Didn’t they tell you?” Bailu stares up at him, unimpressed. “It’s Hanahaki. Surely you’ve heard of it, well, perhaps you haven’t. There’s no recorded cure. They told you all this, right?”
“They told me it was Mara,” Jing Yuan feels like he’s out of breath. He isn’t sure what to feel, the mix of emotions closing in on him. He wants to be upset with you and yet he can’t understand why you had been so bent on lying to his face. Not just him, but to Yanqing, to Yukong, to everyone else for the sake of what?
“It’s an ancient curse,” Bailu shakes her head.
Ancient curse. The words ring in his head. He figures the expressions on his and Yanqing’s faces are enough to give away their confusion. And he can only feel his chest tighten and tighten as he listens to Bailu explain the first time you came to her, tears building in the corner of your eyes, hands cupped to your chest and flecks of blood splattered on your palms. He listens as Bailu explains how you begged her not to say anything, that you would be the one to admit the truth. He listens as he hears of how your condition seemed to grow worse, day by day. He reads the medical reports that the Vidyadhara solemnly gives him and becomes acutely aware of his own shaky breath. He recognizes the days when you had gone to visit him, indulged in his requests to soak up the warmth of the sun as he put aside his work or to share stories over tea and a game of chess. The same days that you visited him are the same days that you came to Bailu.
Please, my dear, don’t blame yourself for my own faults. You have been nothing but supportive, caring, and kind. There is nothing more that I can ask of you other than you take care of yourself, please?
Jing Yuan knows loss better than anyone. He has faced loss in his own family and has watched as close friends and comrades have lost their lives on the battlefield. He knows of sacrifice, of that gut wrenching feeling when you are faced with the hard truth. He knows the feeling of defeat when he fights his master, initially hesitant in his blows before he gives into fate. The sight of his master’s thankful smile, a last moment of clarity breaks his heart. He knows of all these heartbreaking feelings, the same ones that have built up his walls, guarded his heart thus far and led him to become the Arbiter-General of the Xianzhou Luofu. The scars that litter his body are a result of hundreds of years of training, of hard-won battles and choking defeats, so really, there is nothing that can shake his resolve after all that he's been through. He isn’t sure what’s worse: how easily he believed your lies, or the reality of this sickness that you’ve come down with.
I’m sure all will be well. Don’t forget about me or I’ll haunt your dreams! (Stop falling asleep while you’re at work okay?)
He wants to yell, to go back in time and push harder for you to tell him the truth. He curses this long life that he has been cursed with. Because your time is fleeting, so quickly slipping from his grasp and he will live longer to live. He hates to imagine what it might be like when—
Visit me one last time, please?
He indulges in your request, shedding all armour and weapons at the door. He visits you with nothing but his jumble of emotions. To bring you flowers as a get-well-soon gift would be too cruel. But perhaps it’s more cruel for you to invite him over.
He hates the way you smile at him so warmly, that knowing look in your eyes prying through ivy ridden gates into his mind. You know what he wants to say, and when he sits down at your bedside and wraps his hand around yours, you squeeze gently.
“I’m sorry,” his voice breaks. You look at him curiously, about to tell him to stop apologizing, that he has nothing, and will never have anything to apologize for when it comes to you. But you stop when you catch sight of his eyes, watery golden pools that beg you to stay. He can’t get the words out but in the silence, there is more than enough said.
All my love.
(I love you, he thinks to himself. He closes his eyes and brings your knuckles to his lips, pressing a lingering kiss that he hopes will say enough. He doesn’t catch the way your eyes start to clear up and the way you gasp softly.)
From me, the moon.
———
To you, the sun,
I would like to apologize in advance. I’m sure you’re upset, and you have every right to be. But I’ve made my bed, and it’s my time to lie in it. I’m sorry. I wish I had the courage to admit it to you in person. Funny how you called me the bravest you knew, and yet the one time when I should have come clean, I couldn’t bring myself to say anything. Thank you, Jing Yuan, for being my friend. I have loved you longer than you could imagine. Thank you for allowing me to be at your side for as long as I did. I will treasure these memories forever, no matter where I am. By this time, I’m sure you’ve uncovered the truth. The extent of my lies can only extend so far. I’m sure Bailu has spoken to you already. Be kind to her, will you? Please, my dear, don’t blame yourself for my own faults. You have been nothing but supportive, caring, and kind. There is nothing more that I can ask of you other than you take care of yourself, please? I’m sure all will be well. Don’t forget about me or I’ll haunt your dreams! (Stop falling asleep while you’re at work okay?) Visit me one last time, please?
All my love.
From me, the moon.

Ooh, I loved your IL Dan Heng request where he realizes that Reader is no longer around and flips quickly trying to find them out of sheer anxiety that those who still hate Dan Feng would take out their hatred and vengeance on them.
I actually want to try and request fem!Reader getting attacked by a group who just want to hurt Dan Heng through attacking his beloved. But his beloved is no damsel in distress, and fights them off, extremely angry that they are attacking her to hurt Dan Heng for a crime he is not guilty of and finds it pathetic that they continue to hold a grudge against someone who has long passed, not adhering to the Vidyadhara laws that Dan Feng’s sins have been washed away. She tears into them, defending Dan Heng with everything as she beats their ass in an emotional rage with tears that’s only stopped because Jing Yuan has to prevent an Incident from happening even though he would gleefully let her continue beating them down.
Reader is upset that they want to hurt and cause Dan Heng pain. She could care less about them trying to torture or assassinate her.
But Reader still gets injured much to Dan Heng’s guilt and anguish and he blames himself for what happened after he arrives at the scene when he sensed that something was wrong.
Reader proceeds to reassure him that none of it is his fault.
SHOULD’VE BEEN THERE

The Imbibitor Lunae Dan Feng wasn’t exactly known for being a beloved figure. Like many infamous individuals of history, there were some who hated him, while others continued their almost unnerving worship.
At the Xianzhou Luofu, the opinions of the general public were mixed and even carried onto his reincarnation. Some would rather have Dan Heng return to the position of leadership, while others wanted him gone from the very land his past life once considered home.
And while Dan Heng thought it’d best to separate himself from his past, he did see the value in learning about the culture and history of the Xianzhou as well as the Vidyadhara. As his partner, you were simply glad he wanted you along during the times he felt the need to revisit the Xianzhou Luofu or indulge in their delicacies.
You accompanied him in enough instances that some of the vendors even knew the two of you by name and what your favorite orders were. It wouldn’t have been a surprise it some locals were familiar with the two of you as well.
Today, you both decided to explore the Xianzhou Luofu separately in the morning, and then meet up late afternoon for a meal together. You wanted to try this tea spot in Aurum Alley you hadn’t heard of before. The tea was said to, somehow, make the consumers feel really good and it intrigued you enough to want to go with Dan Heng.
However, your plans of wandering around and enjoying some time alone was cut short when a group of individuals suddenly appeared around you.
You startled at the sight. The must’ve been been using cloudhymn magic for you not to notice their presence at all until they revealed themselves. After the initial surprise, your body instantly relaxed as you prepared for a fight. Judging by the looks on their faces’, it didn’t seem like they were friendly fans of the Astral Express crew just looking for an autograph.
Plastering a smile on your face to turned to the man closest to you. “Can I help you guys?”
He scowled but remained wordless, feeling like he was too important to speak to the likes of you.
You frowned. “It’s not very nice to ignore people.”
“Since when did we say we want to be nice to you?” another group member scoffed, already drawing his blade. “Dan Feng’s whore.”
Murmurs and grunts of agreement sounded from the rest of the group.
Sighing, you placed on hand on your hip and your other on the shaft of your spear. You had many issues with that sentiment. One, you weren’t a whore— You were his partner. And two, if you were a whore, you’d for sure be one only for Dan Heng. Not this old, dead man named Dan Feng people kept going on about.
“I’m getting a little annoyed here, but I’ll give you one chance,” you said calmly, trying not to lose your patience. “Leave me alone and I’ll pretend this never happened.”
“Or what?” one lady chimed in.
With a huff, you quickly scanned the circle of people. The group wasn’t too large; there were only about four individuals around you with their weapons now at the ready. You reckoned they must’ve had some skill, given they were able to use the cloudhymn magic typically practiced by assassins, but you were confident you could hold your own and knock them out by yourself if you needed to.
You tapped your foot and pursed your lips. “You don’t want to know the or what.” There was a mocking laugh to your side and you quickly turned to him with your eyebrows raised. “Is something funny?”
He nodded. “Yeah. You’re not scary at all.”
“She’s just as pathetic as that sorry reincarnation of Dan Feng,” another snickered, nudging your back with the hilt of his sword.
The woman in front of you shook her head, looking down at you. “No one is as pathetic as that traitor.”
Anger surged through you at his words. Dan Heng was so much more than Dan Feng’s reincarnation. He was his own person— A strong, kind, intelligent person at that. And he wasn’t pathetic. In an instant, you knocked the sword out of your ambusher’s hands with a swift kick and pointed the blunt end of your polearm at the woman who insulted him next.
“You want to say that again?” you scowled, prodding her shoulder roughly in warning.
When you moved your weapon, the man behind you swung his sword at your side and you just barely managed to dodge, the blade leaving a long cut across your upper arm. You flinched at the sting but ignored it. You felt small drops of blood begin to roll down onto your elbow, but you sensed the cut wasn’t deep enough for you to be truly concerned. It was nothing compared to what you would do to them if they said one more negative thing about Dan Heng.
They could hurt you and call you names. That you didn’t care about; you could handle yourself. Sure, you might cry a little after the event took place, but when it came to it, you could hold your own. But when they continually kept insulting Dan Heng, you knew you had to put your foot down.
Your partner, your beloved, has been through enough shit without having random strangers who didn’t even know him talking behind his back. This particular group even went as far as trying to harass you simply because of your association with him.
You wouldn’t stand for it. You couldn’t— It hurt your own heart just hearing them badmouth him.
Red flooded your vision as you glared at the group with your weapon in a readied position, “You only need to look in the mirror if you want to see what pathetic truly is. No need to bring Dan Heng into this.”
The group matched your stance and you rolled your eyes before swinging your polearm in a low sweep to knock two ambushers to the floor. Before you could use your weapon correctly and strike the next assailant, a booming voice sounded from your side.
“Now, now. If we’re going to resort to violence, please do it away from the innocent civilians nearby.”
The group of assassins around you straightened up in an instant at the sound of Jing Yuan and the marching Cloud Knights behind him.
While you were half relieved to see Jing Yuan, the other half of you wanted him to go away so you could enjoy beating the shit out of these idiots who insulted Dan Heng. That would certainly teach them not to spew nonsense about things they did not know.
The group silently disbanded and disappeared as they ran away, trying to avoid the clutches of Jing Yuan’s men who were soon on their heels. You frowned at their cowardly escape. They couldn’t even stand to face the lawful consequences of their actions?
“As much as I would’ve enjoyed seeing your execution of justice, I don’t think Dan Heng would want to see you potentially get more injured,” Jing Yuan said with a small smile. “They are assassins, after all.” He examined your arm from a distance before walking up to you and offering a hand.
You accepted, looking down at your bleeding arm with a slight wince. “They barely even nicked me…”
Jing Yuan shook his head, a fond look on his face despite his chastisement. Before he could sterilize it for you, you two spotted Dan Heng running over. His spear was by his side and his expression was frantic as he ran towards you.
“Y/N! Are you alright?” called Dan Heng, his breathing heavy partly from physical exertion, but mostly from worry. “I saw Cloud Knights tracking down some people under the influence of cloudhymn magic.” His brows furrowed as he finally reached you and Jing Yuan, most likely remembering his last encounter with assassins using the same technique. “Did you see them? Are you okay?”
Jing Yuan glanced at the guilty look on your face before giving your arm a squeeze and nodding once to Dan Heng. “I shall let the two of you continue this conversation alone. Until we cross paths again.”
Your eyes widened at his quick goodbye. “Hopefully our next meeting will be for better reasons. Thanks, Jing Yuan!”
“Don’t mention it.” He turned to Dan Heng before he left. “Stay safe and vigilant, Dan Heng.”
As he walked away, you noticed Dan Heng scanning every inch of your body, eyes clouded with anxiety as he took in Jing Yuan’s words and the cut on your arm.
Silence stretched between the two of you before he finally spoke up. When he talked, his tone was unsettling. “Who did this to you? Was it the assassins?”
Your gaze softened as his fists tightened in concern. “Yes,” you admitted, gently putting his hands in yours as you ran your thumb over his knuckles. “But I’m okay, they didn’t hurt me.”
Dan Heng looked at you in disbelief.
“This just needs to be cleaned and bandaged, is all,” you reassured with a small smile. “I’m sure the bruises I left on them are worse.”
“You’re bleeding.”
“But I’m okay,” you said, soft but firm.
You gazed stubbornly at him and Dan Heng returned the look, neither of you backing down. Eventually, Dan Heng sighed, squeezing his eyes shut at the sight of the bloodstain on your shirt.
“I’m so sorry, Y/N,” he said with an almost imperceptible quiver in his voice. “I should’ve been there for you.”
“Hey, don’t say that.” You frowned, lightly cupping his jaw to lift his head that had fallen to the floor. “You’re always there for me; I know it.”
“Not enough, apparently.”
Dan Heng’s complexion was paler than normal. You could tell this was really eating him up inside.
“You couldn’t have known I was going to get ambushed by cloudhymn magic users,” you said, trying to console him. “If you did, I know you wouldn’t have left me alone. But you didn’t know, and so I did my best to handle them myself— And I would’ve kicked their sorry asses for insulting your character if Jing Yuan hadn’t stopped the fight.”
Dan Heng’s expression softened at that, a hint of an amused smile forming on his face. “They would’ve felt sorry for trying to harm you if they knew of your skill, that’s for certain.” He reached out to hold your forearm in his hand, examining the cut with a sigh. “I just hate that you got hurt because of me.”
You shook your head at his wrongful connection. “I got hurt because of the idiot assassins, not because of you.”
“Didn’t they want to harm you because of your relation to me?”
“Yes, but that just means they’re delusional and stuck in the past and wanted to hurt us both,” you reasoned, watching carefully as Dan Heng pulled a first aid kit out of your bag and began to clean you up. “You did not hurt me, Dan Heng. You didn’t do anything wrong.”
He let your words sink in as he sterilized your wound, rubbing the sensitive skin on your inner forearm soothingly as he sensed you tightening up at the sting of pain. Once he disposed of the bloodied cloth, he wrapped a bandage around your triceps and secured the ends.
You admired his work with a proud grin. “Good as new. Thank you!”
Dan Heng released a huff of laughter as he patted the top of your head before kissing it.  “I wouldn’t go that far, but I hope it will heal soon.”
“As long as you kiss me daily to make the wound heal faster!”
“I’m not sure that’s how it works,” he mused. You poured and he looked at you fondly. “For you, I’ll give it a try.” Dan Heng placed three kisses on your face—one on your forehead, one on your left cheek, and one on your right—and one kiss on your bandaged arm. “If I give you multiple kisses a day then, will it heal even sooner?”
You nodded eagerly, gesturing to your mouth with a teasing glint in your eye. “Definitely! And there’s one place to kiss so it’ll heal the fastest.”
Dan Heng smiled. “I believe I know the place you are referring to, but we’ll save that for when we’re in private.”
You jutted your bottom lip out and batted your eyelashes at him. “Just a little one?”
He wasn’t much for excessive public displays of affection. You were rather embarrassed by it yourself. But in this moment, it felt as if it were just the two of you on the entire Luofu.
Unable to resist the pleasing look on your face, Dan Heng humored you with a chaste kiss on your lips. It was plush and warm and, while the two of you wanted more, it was enough to satiate you for now.
“Is that better?” he asked.
“Yes.”
“I’m glad to hear.” He took your hand in his, carefully interlacing his slender fingers with yours. “Thank you for looking after me, even when I’m not there. I’m glad you have my back. I will always have yours as well,” he vowed. “I’ll always be here for you.”
As the promise left his mouth, you knew each word was one he meant from the heart. Dan Heng meant the world to you, and you would stop at nothing to protect him. And you knew he would do the same. You saw it through his actions, and now, he told you with his words.
Your stomach warmed and your heart squeezed, feeling touched by his declaration.
“I know you will,” you stated, a confident shimmer in your eyes as you met his headstrong ones. “And I will always be here for you, too.”

Rarely does the Luofu see rain.
As an artificial planet, a man-made home that basked in the light of an artificial sun, the weather was very closely monitored and controlled. For a sudden storm to arrive either meant that someone higher up was having an off day, or the A.I. had decided that perhaps the Luofu was a tad bit dehydrated.
Still, it doesn't make it any less irritating to you, a civilian who wasn't informed of this sudden decision.
You clicked your tongue in annoyance. Of course it had to rain on your day off. You'd planned to have a nice, easy day outside of just strolling through Aurum Alley, but that plan was now out the window.
Oh, well. Nothing you could about it now.
Gripping your grocery bag closer to you, you held your free hand towards the sky. Water swirled around you in a mystical dance, the rain droplets stilling as if frozen in time. Soon enough, an invisible umbrella formed above your head, your hand keeping there in place.
It was times like these that you were grateful for your cloudhymm abilities. You stepped out into the drizzle, perfectly dry amongst the crowd.
As you neared your home, you faltered when you saw an unexpected figure taking shelter under one of the many overhangs.
"Feng'er?"
The man in question flinched upon hearing your voice. Immediately, he turned away, embarrassed to be found in such a disheveled state.
"I... I'm fine," he stuttered. "Just... caught off guard."
You sighed, taking in the sight in front of you. Dan Feng's robes, so pristine and regal, were plastered against his body, soaked beyond what you'd thought was possible. His hair plastered against his skin as he wrung out what he could.
"Feng'er, with all due respect," you stepped closer, "you look anything but fine."
Dan Feng glared at you from the corner of his eye, but you weren't intimidated. You worked in customer service, after all.
You held out a hand. "Come here, my house is nearby. You'll get sick if you stay drenched like that."
Fire swirled in his eyes as he looked at you, wavering between pride and safety. Amongst the pouring rain, that turquoise hue glowed like flames, an ironic contrast to his abilities.
Eventually, his desire to get out of the rain triumphed over his pride. He reluctantly took your hand. You pulled him under your makeshift umbrella, your hand held high above the both of you as you led him to your home.
The walk there was quiet, save for the soft patter of rain and the curses of those caught within it. Left with nothing but your thoughts, your eyes began to wander. Soon, they landed on the hair of the High Elder, still wet and glossy despite Dan Feng's efforts to dry it.
"Hey, Feng'er," you spoke out into the silence, "can I ask something?"
Dan Feng contemplated it for a moment. "You may."
"You also wield cloudhymm. Why not use it to dry yourself off instead of, well..." You didn't need to go on.
The tips of Dan Feng's ears lit up in red. He quickly averted his gaze, but your eyes were quick enough to catch the pink dusting his cheeks.
"I..." He coughed into his fist. "Yingxing, he claimed that I couldn't go a day in my life without using magic."
"Ah." You couldn't help a snicker sneaking out, but you were quick to disguise it as a cough. "Is that right?"
"Yes," Dan Feng sighed in exasperation, crossing his arms. You smiled. His ears seemed to burn brighter now.
"To think you'd take the words of a short-lived so seriously," you mused. "Your stubbornness will be the death of you."
"Better to die than to let that arrogant mortal insult me so carelessly."
"Right, right, of course," you nodded. "We can't let the dignity of the High Elder be tarnished."
You felt a hard blow to your back, not hard enough to hurt you but certainly enough to make you stumble. Looking behind you, you saw Dan Feng's tail dart out of sight.
"Feng'er."
Dan Feng closed his eyes, evidently choosing to block you out. You rolled your eyes.
"Try that again and I'm leaving you next time."
Your friend chuckled.
"No, you love me too much to abandon me."
You kicked him into a puddle.

I have an idea. A self-aware au. What if Jing yuan/Blade is aware of darling's affection for him since they would log in the game and just see him and just admire them that is until Genshin drops 4.1 trailer and saw Arlecchino and Neuvillette and now they're envious of these two taking away their darling's attention.
It's just an interesting idea tho. But in actuality I'd think neuvillette and him would be friends or somewhat
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hello, this anon has similar thoughts!! Put them together to answer >_< I think they will be really jealous of the genshin impact characters who are stealing your attention lol. Jing Yuan's jealousy is more harmless (seemingly), while Blade's is more aggressive (?)
This is my first time writing a self-aware AU, hope you like it!!
CW: yandere, self-aware au
Jing Yuan and Blade have their own lives.
When you're not with them, when you're not in front of the screen or looking at them with a smile or wonder. They are handling the work/tasks of the Seat of Divine Foresight/Stellaron Hunters. Blade, Silver Wolf and Kafka were practicing the new "destiny" script and took away another Stellaron. Jing Yuan is managing Luofu and attending meetings. How strange. Once you click on the space screen to enter the game, they can see your face. You organize your team and do daily tasks with them.
At first, they thought it was some kind of prank or a conspiracy, but over time they got used to it. In Elio's words, "The world is like a video game. No one can prove whether the world is real or false. Feeling the current destiny is the most important thing."
For Jing Yuan, he just got familiar with your personality. He confirmed that your presence would not put Luofu in danger, and that you acted like a cute kitten playing with a ball of yarn. You can control Luofu's General and Stellaron Hunter, and all you do is wander around Xianzhou and buy snacks to feed them, break every poor object on the way, fight to get some rewards, take the books on the table, etc.
You didn't forget to "build" them either. They watch you search for "Jing Yuan", "Blade", "build", "guide" and other keywords on the Internet, and take them to fight again and again to get materials to upgrade. Although they have actually participated in some wars and have terrible strength, what you see here is "lv 1-80".
You really like them, otherwise you wouldn’t pull, right? You even take photos of them while wandering around the map. Jing Yuan snickered when you took Blade to take a selfie in front of his wanted poster. The general is not shy about giving you a smile either. They know your admiration because you always take more than one photo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Until… recently, they noticed that you weren't online as often. At one point, you log in again, and then, as if you thought of something important, you search "genshin impact" on Youtube (they know the name of the site) and start watching trailers and special programs.
What's this?
You stared intently at those…those people. White curly bangs, long hair like a waterfall, and his gorgeous and decent attire. The other man has short black hair. He punches enemies in live. A woman with short gray and white hair smiles confidently.
Jing Yuan opened his eyes wide, not expecting you to be so "frivolous" - did you plan to be unfaithful to him? You found Jing Yuan pouting at you in the game, but you thought you were hallucinating, so you gave him immortal's delight and puffergoat milk to comfort him. Blade clicked his tongue, crossed his arms in boredom, and stopped observing what you were doing on the other side of the screen. Silver Wolf and Kafka teased him about whether he was separated from the little player? Jealous? You're surprised to notice that his damage has been doubled. While on a mission, Blade almost lost control and killed a person on the script. His eyes as red as candlelight flashed, and he almost swung down the sword in his hand.
They are all looking for opportunities to get close to you. That part of Xianzhou's large computer installation called "loom" is running, investigating and analyzing you.

HOLD ME LIKE A KNIFE — BLADE
Tumblr media
ᥫ᭡ your love for one another is desperate– fleeting while holding onto the hope that immortality doesn’t have to end.
❥ pairing: blade x fem!reader ❥ cw: angst. established relationship. the mara is trying to strike blade. mentions of past marriage. reader is a vidyadhara and nd coded. selfship coded. reader is referred to as “sweetheart”. ❥ series masterlist.

nights like these you wished you could turn back time. oh, the things you would give to make him whole again, but nothing could undo the damage that had been done centuries ago. the moon was shining through the window of the room you shared with him on the stellaron hunter’s ship, being outshone by the lamp on the bedside table as blade drew in sharp and ragged breaths. your heart clenched in your chest while you ran your fingers through his dark locks in an attempt to comfort him, brushing loose strands away from his clammy skin.
take a deep breath, it will pass. you had to repeat these words to yourself as you tried to keep him calm. it was the first time since you had left the xianzhou that he’d flared up, and unfortunately kafka was not around to help you. of course, this was not your first time handling his affliction but it had been a long time since then. if you let your mind wander to the past, you’d only end up blaming yourself once again. if you had found him before she did, or if you had found him as the signs of mara in his newly immortal body began to manifest you could have stopped it from getting to this point. although now, it was all history. he would never again craft anything with his now inept hands, the high-cloud quintet was no more, and the friendships he once cherished had shattered before his eyes.
the whole time he’d been gone, the only thing he’d been able to hold onto was you.
you didn’t think you could forget how intrigued kafka was by you. your name was one that she had never heard before, and it didn’t take her long to figure out why. if she knew of you, your memory would’ve been taken from him, and if she’d done that, well… kafka wasn’t sure how different things would be now. but, she figured since elio hadn’t said anything, you were alright for the time being. besides, she figured you must mean a lot to him if he had brought you back on top of keeping your existence a secret.
you sighed, leaning forward to place a gentle kiss on the top of his head. you knew coming with him would be difficult– that things would never be the same as it was so long ago. the man you knew then was not the man currently lying in your lap. his hair, his eyes, the way he held himself, the way he spoke, even the way he looked at you and held you. nothing was the way it used to be. snow white tresses had turned to a dark blue– leaving you curious if it naturally changed like it had when it went from black to white with age, or if it was something that happened instantly. the lilac of his eyes now mimicking the colors of a flame. that arrogant smile of his, along with his boastfulness had long been replaced by empty looks and humbling silence.
there was a time that you remembered when you had avoided him like the plague. despite being well known throughout the luofu, you kept to yourself. a lot of people found that odd and you often ended up as a topic for gossip or the butt of a joke. when yingxing first showed an interest in you, you didn’t think he was sincere. but he worked hard to show you he was serious– learning more about the vidyadhara and their customs. you don’t think you had ever been more touched than when he’d given your very first jade piece to you, nearly shocking you to the point where you couldn’t speak.
he’d always been so thoughtful with his gifts, especially with everything he hand crafted– much like the ring you still wore on your hand. even after he’d left the luofu, you refused to part with it. you wore it to keep others away, and to remind yourself that there would always be hope. while you had been sad and angry over what had happened and what he had done, you were more upset that he kept it from you until he no longer could. instead you had found out through jingliu when she came to get you for help subduing the former high elder and what he created. you still couldn’t bring yourself to call it what it was– an abomination, a monstrosity. even though it was ultimately a tragedy, it did set the vidyadhara’s on a path that most of them had longed for. the path that broke them free of their rebirth by introducing other species to their dragon heritage. a path that you once wanted more than anyone.
you frowned, knowing that thinking of the past only brought up all the emotions and dreams you once had. dreams that you would now never get to achieve because you had left the xianzhou behind when ghosts from the past had come back all at once.
it was a difficult decision. on one hand, you had someone to take care of. granted, it was technically a punishment that the preceptors had given you for transferring the soul of the dragon monster into an egg, but you still loved and cherished her as if she were your own. it wasn’t a punishment to you, and bailu had long proved she could handle herself. but when it cane down to it, it was her who encouraged you to leave. she knew bigger things awaited you, and she knew what love could do to people.
you leaned forward, brushing his hair back to lay a tender kiss on his forehead. you pulled him closer to you, his breathing growing more ragged when you wrapped your arms around him. he clung to you, and tears filled your eyes at your lack of ability to do anything. you couldn’t guide someone with out a soul, and you knew that because you always tried yet got the same result– failure. it wasn’t that you wanted the yingxing you knew back, not at all. you would always love him no matter who he was. what you wanted was for him to be free of the phantom pains and the real pain caused from the mara. vows were vows, and until he died a true death, not even that could part you two.
you wanted more for him than becoming everything he hated. he was so proud back then– arrogant. rightfully so you believed, but you did like to humble him. he’d reached many feats as a mere mortal, from becoming a master craftsman in his youth to becoming the furnace master of the luofu. if he had been born a native of the alliance, he would have been head of the entire artisanship commission. he so worked, much harder than anyone else. and you could sense that fighter in him still, barely hanging on as he struggled everyday against the mara.
it was as if he’d heard all the thoughts running through your head, he slowly sat up. you let him go, meeting his eyes to see if he had succumbed or pulled through. the vibrant reds and oranges had dulled down to their normal colors, telling you that it was in fact subsiding. you nearly breathed a sigh of relief, but he spoke before you could.
“i’m sorry.”
your eyebrows drew together in confusion, “you shouldn’t apologize for things out of your control. and don’t bring up past actions, it will make it worse. you bear far more of that guilt than you need, and because you can still feel that i know part of your shattered soul is still in there, somewhere.”
he looked away, “sometimes i forget how well you know me, especially now.”
your lip quivered as you tried to give him a small smile, “while you may have changed, i made you a vow over seven hundred years ago. whether you are blade or yingxing, i will always choose to love whoever you are. and even though this is so hard, i know i am not whole without you. but i don’t expect you or even ask that you return these feelings. i just ask that you let me in enough to be able to guide what’s left of your soul away from the mara if i need to.”
blade met your eyes again quicker than you had anticipated, nearly startling you. he shook his head, cupping your cheek and running his thumb along your skin, “i fear you may not find it, but instead the monster that lies within. i’d never forgive myself if something happened to you because i do love you. in this life or the next.”
“i’m not afraid,” your nose burned as tears fell, nearly choking on your words. “i would do anything to not see you suffer.”
he had no rebuttal or denial. instead he pulled you into him, letting you silently cry into his shoulder. you knew he could see the toll this was taking on you, and while this conversation was not much it was progress. your heart ached on days like these, but before he’d returned to the luofu it was in seemingly unfixable pieces. despite being a completely different person, he was your entire world. you knew unconditional love, you felt a sense of belonging, and you were selfish all because of him. he made you a better person, or at least a better version of yourself.
you like to think while he most definitely fell first, you fell even harder. maybe it didn’t matter now with how the two of you were holding onto one another like lifelines– terrified the other would slip away if one of you let go. but you would take all of this over a world without him, and you would always be thankful for this second chance.
“i love you,” your voice was muffled by the fabric of his clothes, but he still heard you.
instinctively, almost like muscle memory, he gently kissed the top of your head and whispered, “i love you more, sweetheart.”

these hands in tightly hidden fists.
Pairing: Jing Yuan x (GN) Reader Summary: It is a late night, and the General's mind wanders. Warnings: Ineffectual Pining, Smut (sort of) Notes: 1.6k words of Jing Yuan being cockblocked by his own sense of morality. Title and quote taken from "So We Must Meet Apart" by Gabrielle Bates & Jennifer S. Cheng
Tumblr media Tumblr media
jing yuan notices the earrings first—small, bright gems set on a thin chain, hanging like stars from your delicate earlobes. then your hair, styled with more care than usual, and the new perfume that stains your wrist with a faint scent that he strains himself to catch, to catalogue into the breadth of information he has carefully collected about you. your clothes are as usual, neat and formal, as is your manner, except for the way you sometimes fiddle with the hem of your sleeve and cast longing looks out the window while he reads your report.
that is to say, jing yuan notices you quite a bit and today, there is something different about you.
“you look lovely today,” he says after some time has passed. the seat of divine foresight has emptied out for the day, save for the few guards that stand at attention by the door; he would have gone by now too and released them from duty, if he hadn’t been expecting you. it is rare enough that your work brings the two of you together, and since your promotion at the divination commission, the master diviner has kept you busy adjusting and readjusting the nodes on the matrix of prescience to keep up with her constant calculations. you have a talent for it, attuned to the fine details of your surroundings, so he wonders why you always seem to miss the glaring fact of his love for you.
“oh, thank you, general,” you say, suddenly going shy. your gaze travels around the room, from walls to window and even to the guards, landing on anything but him. it’s adorable, the way you avoid his eyes even though you want, eagerly, to share something—another of your mannerisms that jing yuan has filed away in his heart.
would it be too much to hope that you had dressed up just to see him? that you had made yourself prettier than you already are for his eyes alone? it is presumptuous to think that he is in your thoughts as often as you are on his, but he does it anyway. he allows his eyes to linger on your mouth, the way it curves into the trace of a smile at his next question.
“is there a particular occasion?”
“i have dinner with someone later,” you let out like a confession, in one breathless, rushed whisper. the answer is so incomprehensible that he doesn’t register it at first. not until you start fiddling with the earring that caught his eye, twisting the chain around your finger. he wonders if it’s a gift from the person you are seeing tonight. he wonders how it would feel to tug it off your earlobe with his teeth. “general?”
there is a waxy feeling in his throat, so thick that you could scrape it off with a fingernail, at the thought of you with someone else. someone you might be directing that secretive smile toward. someone whose arm you might be touching as you lean in close, close enough to let them catch a brief taste of your perfume—
“general?”
“i see.” jing yuan clears his throat, looking for his words, which have all suddenly fled him. “where will you be dining?”
“we have reservations at the sleepless earl. i know, i know,” you laugh a little, “not that exciting, but i hear the storyteller is starting a tale about the high-cloud quintet tonight and i don’t want to miss the opening. it’ll be decades before he tells it again.” the smile you give him then makes the muscle in his jaw jump. “and afterwards, we might take a starskiff to the exalting sanctum. the luofu is passing close to a binary star system tonight…”
his hands tighten around the scroll containing your report—the detection of cosmological time dilation patterns in three-body starquake ruptures—your voice gone soft and muddled in his head as he tries to get his jaw to unclench, so that he might beg you—and if we’re lucky, they might set off an aurora that we can see from the pavilion—if he could only say something that would keep you by his side, instead of, of—owing to the expansion of space in ten to the third dimensions upon point of impact, we can predict that the best course of action for the alliance—he doesn’t want to lose you, doesn’t want to give you up to this person who has done what he has failed to—it’s quite a romantic spot, actually—has caught the tail of your bright comet—
with a wash of sick, nervous heat, jing yuan realizes that he could. he could keep you from going out tonight under the guise of work, have you explain to him in charts and calculations and the graceful arc of your hands those elegant predictions which were your life’s work. he could always count on you to put your duty to the xianzhou luofu first, even if it meant making others unhappy.
one night might unfold into another into another as he lures you into his trap. he could start now. dismiss the guards. demand your time. steal a touch or two, first at your wrist, then your elbow, narrowing the distance between you by degrees as he bids you to lean over the desk and explain to him some prediction he pretends not to understand—all the while he looks not at the report, as you might have believed, but at the column of your unmarked throat that he longs to sink his teeth into like a claim. a night like that repeated a dozen times over. how long would it take you to sense him prowling at the edges of your comfort? to realize how close you have already allowed him?
how long would you be able to hold out against him?
jing yuan cares for you, cares what you think of him, and so your seduction would be as patient and meticulous as any strategy he’s executed. perhaps, after so many nights like that, alone together, he might ask you for a drink. tea or wine, whatever your preference, he’d offer to pour you a cup if you returned the favor. one drink becoming two becoming more, just like the hours he’d steal away from you, your tired head dipping into your chest as you struggle to stay awake in his company.
he’d have moved to your side of the table by then, offered you his shoulder to lean on; polite and trusting as you are, he doubts you would have questioned it as you drift into a haze of half-sleep. he’d stroke your shoulder, then your cheek, the crown of your lovely hair. he’d take the teacup from your slackening grasp and marvel at the sensation of your hand in his, at the delicate points of your fingertips, the soft cup of your palm that he cannot help but kiss. perhaps you would have woken, and if not, he’d take the time to memorize your hands, to slip his tongue between your fingers and nip at the sensitive skin between pointer and thumb.
you’d wake with a gasp, and he would turn his head to swallow the sound.
your lips—they’d be divine, he knows it, stained with the flavor of your drink, bitter and sweet as he coaxes you open on his tongue. he’d like it if you kissed him back, hand tangling in his long hair. he’d like it if you sighed, meltingly, into his embrace; if your supple body arched beneath his wandering hands. there, he’d show the first and only sign of his impatience, working them into your clothes so he could feel the heat rising beneath your skin and know for certain that you felt it too—that you were filled with a need as powerful as his own.
he’d take you on whatever surface was available, on the floor, on his desk. he would lay you out and fit himself between the spread of your legs, fingers probing inside you—at first one, then two, then three if you could take it. he thinks you could. he would do it slow, a precise calculation of what would bring you the most pleasure; if you whined, he’d only go slower. with just his fingers he could make you fall apart. he imagines you gnawing at your lips, slick with spit as you moan into the tabletop, your body slick around his fingers as he fucks them into you.
how would you feel on his cock? squirming as he splits you open or holding yourself breathlessly still? his hands on your hips as he presses himself into the heat of you, hoping to leave bruises that you’ll remember tomorrow and tomorrow after that. he’d fuck you however you’d like—slow, hard, fast, soft. he’d fuck you until you saw stars sparking beneath the cover of your closed eyes, no need to look outside, to look away from him at all. he’d make you come again and again, slack jawed, clawing at the his shoulders, addicted to the push and pull of him inside you. you’d ask him for more and he would give it to you gladly.
bent over like this, you wouldn’t be able to see him at all. he is grateful for that. what would you think if you saw that hunger so naked on his face, which he has only ever shown you so indolently calm? he is not known as a man of large appetites, but for you he is a wild, starving thing. for you— for you—
“general?”
jing yuan smiles at you, locking those thoughts of you behind the placid expression on his face. you haven’t noticed anything at all, and why should you? it is a mask that has not slipped for hundreds of years, unlike his next words, which slip loose without him meaning to.
“i hate to keep you longer than i should, but if you wouldn’t mind…”
A/N: i want him so bad i look stupid i know. i feel like jing yuan is just a little bit of an asshole but he tries hard not to be because he is also very aware of the power he has over people and knows that he could exploit them all too easily. but i really, really want him to (: anyway i like my jing yuans literally sick with longing. will i ever let him fuck for real???? stay tuned for more.

I want to hug Jing Yuan again. This is day 240 of wanting to hug Jing Yuan. When will my urge finally be satiated?
The world is a bit blurry and the ground is hard beneath you. It doesn't take long for you to orient yourself, the surrounding is strangely familiar. You've never been here before but the architecture reminds you of something.
You pushed yourself up from the road and froze. The Xianzhou Luofu, to be more specific the Alchemy Commission, that's what this reminded you of. The streets were entirely empty, aside from the wind blowing through them. You weren't sure how you ended up here but, surely, if you wandered around you'd find a way home.
Thus, started your relatively short journey of trying to figure out how to get home. It ended a few moments after it began when you turned the corner and saw him.
Oh. This was a dream. You wouldn't have to worry about getting home then.
With regal gray hair, slightly afloat, flowing behind him like a lion's mane. Jing Yuan held a focused look, as if examining the battle field in front of him, until his eyes landed on you.
"Jing Yuan!" You called out a smile rising to your face, as you walked over. He made no move, at first looking at you like you were an anomaly, then relaxing.
Since this was a dream, you could do whatever you wanted, right? Despite knowing that you reached out hesitantly and only continued when he remained still, looking down on you with a welcoming smile. His lips moved but you couldn't hear anything. Then when both of your arms were in prime hugging position, the width of his chest apart, you reached forward and--
There was nothing. Your arms went right through him, but he was still there, still talking. What else would you expect this was a dream? But you still felt downtrodden. Then you felt it. A warm, large hand on your head. It was gentle, in moved up and down as if in an attempt to comfort you. You closed your eyes, taking it all in, the warmth, the care.
Then you woke up. Unaware of your dream but in a considerably good mood compared to most mornings. You had to wonder what caused it...
But for some reason some words repeated in your head in a deep soft tone, the one you'd expect from a lover, "I can't wait to meet you."

piano.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
blade x fem!reader
he finds you playing the piano by yourself.
Tumblr media
in xianzhou luofu, there's a hidden library that you frequent to. every time you felt like you needed to be away somewhere, you always go here...
it was silent, almost abandoned, except for a piano that was left behind by its previous owners. you come here almost all the time, actually, to play your heart out.
whether you were happy, angry, sad or... just having the need to play the piano, you let your heart out here.
but you didn't know the harmony of your masterpiece would attract a visitor—let alone, a stray serial killer.
today was like any other normal day. after you did what you had to do with work, or whatever it may be, you went to your usual spot and began to play what was on your mind. you were silent, sublimed to the tunes of the piano that seemed so new despite its old, abandoned condition. you were too lost in your thoughts to realize that you were being watched—admired by a distant killer who needed to relieve himself today.
...it was an ordinary day for him, too.
another mission, another task to complete... until he had suddenly found himself in a situation where he couldn't get himself out of. his mara condition, and kafka wasn't around to save him this time. so, he went to hide off somewhere until his reinforcements arrived—and that's how he ended up here, in your secret little area. he had been attracted to the sound of your melody at first, and unsheathed his blade, thinking it were a monster who could scream incoherent, beautiful melodies... but it was you. just you.
harmless to him, but admirable.
he lowered his sword, but the gentle clang of the tip of his weapon had echoed through the abandoned walls of the place, causing you to press the wrong keys of the piano and jump from your seat.
your eyes immediately peel towards the sound, noting the stranger who had entered the vicinity... and the sword he had.
...was he here to kill you?
no—not in his condition. you could see that he was injured, and the sound of your piano had attracted him. it was a safe haven for him, and he knew it. he had just scared you, is all.
"...you're bleeding," you whisper, lifting yourself from your seat as you go towards the stellaron hunter, "let m—"
"don't come any closer." he hissed at you, pointing his blade at you, causing you to stop.
you weren't fazed by the weapon, moreso worried about his condition. obviously, he was hurt, and obviously enough, he was hiding from someone... or something.
but you didn't care about the weapon, either way. so you step even closer, tearing off a piece of your shirt. "you're in my home," it wasn't really yours, but still, "so let me treat my guests."
blade was silent as he let out a defeated sigh, slumping against the wall, leaving a track of his blood to paint the concrete material behind him. "fine." he murmured. "make it quick."
you knelt to his side, immediately working on bandaging him. you were gentle, but his injuries were rather fatal... considering a cold-blood killer was grunting out of pain, you ought to assume he was some sort of sado-masochistic man. but the injuries were a little too much for him. whatever happened, you had hoped whoever or whatever was chasing him had... well. died.
"there." you dust off your hands, giving blade a reassuring look before standing up.
"you should sit here and relax for a day or two," you say, glancing back at him as you wandered towards the piano you had left momentarily, "and... you interrupted my piece. so i have to finish it."
"i don't need to relax. neither do i care about your music." he hissed in pain as he got up.
"then don't. i'm just giving you advice." you respond, before your fingers began to play the melodies of your song.
blade had gotten quiet since you began to play. you picked up where you had left off, and now you were finishing what you started. although he was stubborn and said he didn't care... he was here listening to you. he was still sitting against the wall, hand over his injury as he listened in silence.
he was breathing, heavily, but... melodies of your piano had brought him peace.
when you had finished, you turned around, seeing that the killer had fallen asleep. peaceful, beautiful.
how the wonders of music truly worked.
you got up, slowly approaching the sleeping killer. you had a spare blanket nearby that you would use to nap here, and... you'd place it over his body.
you didn't know him, but up close... he was beautiful.
you'd then leave a note for him before leaving for the night.
thank you for coming to my show.
my name is y/n.
you're free to come in here whenever you wish to escape and enjoy solitude.
when he had woken, you were gone.
the piano was by itself, but the rays of the gentle sun was blaring through the fallen planks of wood. the place was abandoned, and any sunlight that snuck through, one could see the rain of dust that sprinkled through light.
he looked around for you, but you weren't found anywhere... besides the note, which he read for a moment.
he folded it up and tucked it away somewhere, and looked down to the blanket. he lifted it, bringing it up to his nose—your scent. he would remember it.
standing, he'd grunt in pain before approaching the piano, placing the blanket over it before gently running his fingers against the keys of the piano.
it was old, rusted... abandoned. and yet, someone as beautiful as you would create such a peaceful masterpiece to it.
he would remember you—and perhaps the two of you would meet again.
and you would play a song for him.

I think we have all seen the "Argenti thinks the Reader is Idrila" stuff on here. But what if the reader actually is Idrila? So I wanted to request Argenti/Idrila!Reader (gn or afab reader) headcanons or a oneshot where Idrila, who has taken on a mortal identity after [Insert tragic event here], and meets Argenti. They develop feelings for each other, Argenti finds out she is Idrila, they end up dating. (Maybe or maybe not in that specific order) I thought maybe after protecting her followers from Nanook she disappeared to ensure Nanook doesn't target them anymore? That part isn't as important so feel free to add whatever backstory you think fits^^ Thank you in advance, I really like your writing!
NONNIE omg im booting up star rail rn to stare at him lovingly. also i changed the scenario a smidge so reader is her own person while also being idrila? if that makes sense......?? yeah. also bc otherwise id be writing ten thousand words n i didnt want ur ask to grow dusty in my inbox d(;∀;d) but tysm for the prompt i couldn’t stop thinking about it ueue. also hey gang peep me trying to make my blog look more coherent n nicer looking. am i doin it ⸝⸝⸝⸝⸝⸝ cw: a smidge of amnesia and soulmate trope (it’s not that bad, trust), fluff, love at first sight (does that even count in this scenario....), argenti and reader are dancing around the topic a lot bc argenti is a gentleman and doesn’t want to pressure her to talk. blurbs to set up the plot + a fic after them hehe. not proofread, writer’s block is killing me  includes: fem reader (he refers to reader as "my lady"), argenti, natasha, luocha is kinda there wc: 2,3k

-ˋˏ You’d go to Natasha’s clinic at least once every other day because you always had the worst migraines. To the point where you almost got beat up by a Flamespawn one time when you were clearing out calyxes (thankfully there was a Silvermane guard patrolling the area, otherwise you would’ve been charred). The doctor always says the same thing; “Stop looking for fights so often”, “Let your body rest”, “I can’t prescribe you antibiotics”, and your favorite, “Stop slamming my door open I can’t do anything about your headaches”. She was a good friend, but whenever she repeated how she couldn’t be of any help to your predicament, you’d wish you could just take that glass vial hanging from her outfit and chuck it far, far away out of spite.
-ˋˏ Obviously it wasn’t her fault- she'd done everything she could. Natasha even had you undergo the Underworld’s equivalent of an MRI scan because of how frequently you would visit her, insisting that something was wrong. The symptoms consisted of forgetting important things too often, feeling a foreign buzz in your limbs and brain, having a sudden burst of elemental energy come out of your attacks and a myriad of benign but annoying, irritating signs that something was up with you.
-ˋˏ It became more of a chore than anything to leave your room. Some days you felt fine, but then when you’d go out again and beat up wave after wave of enemies in Caverns of Corrosion you would keel over, clutching your head while vague images of what could only be described as a fever dream ran through your mind.
-ˋˏ You decided to leave the Underworld for some time- considering your absence like some sort of “vacation”. You heard of a wandering doctor (and merchant, apparently) by the name of Luocha and, from the people that crossed paths with him, it seemed like he was extraordinary at his job. A trek to the Xianzhou Luofu would be a long one, but after weighing your options you thought you’d give it a try (it was worth it if it meant you’d stop waking up at ungodly hours, holding your head in your hands while hoping, praying that the pain stops.)
-ˋˏ You (somehow) made your way to the Xianzhou Luofu from Jarilo-VI. As competent as you were however, being stranded on a foreign planet with no map nor local to guide you was... a challenge. In retrospect, maybe you should’ve gotten in contact with that Luocha doctor and had him come to Belobog instead of you going to him since, well, he was a traveling merchant. Going from planet to planet is what he does (you assume).
✧✧✧
If you had read up more on general information about the Luofu you would have been aware of how many enemies were roaming around the docking area. But you didn’t. So, unbeknownst to you, a rogue mara-struck soldier was on your tail, trying to sneak up to you to snag the goods you hid in your bag (which were basically just different types of painkillers and sustenance that bodes well on an upset stomach. He doesn’t know that though.)
Your head was throbbing; ever since you set foot on the planet, your physical health had slowly dropped down to levels you wouldn’t be enduring if it wasn’t for the promise of a competent doctor once you get to the main city. Painkillers weren’t working, your feet hurt and to make matters worse, you felt the familiar lack of something in your head. It was so bad to the point where you had to have a tangible mark somewhere to remind you that you did, in fact, just take something for your headache and if you took two more painkillers, your body wouldn’t agree with your decision. It was a struggle even remembering what you did five minutes ago, no way were you going to be in top shape, beating up every enemy crossing your way.
Clouds began covering the bright sun, casting shadows over the desolate, geometric area. You huff, irritated that, from the looks of it, you won’t be able to find a cozy place to set up camp. Though sleeping on a ground made of primarily iron and steel was considerably less nerve-wracking than sleeping on the mushy, cold, dirty ground of Jarilo-VI. So, with a pout aimed at no one in particular, you find some place that you deemed decent enough to set your humble tent. It wasn’t often that adventurers slept outside of safe zones, however with your condition you couldn’t afford to miss out on some rest and possibly get even more lost than you already are.
You set your heavy backpack down, rolling your shoulders to soothe the ache in your muscles from carrying something so bulky. As you ruffle through your belongings, you open a bottled soda and take a swift gulp, sighing contentedly at the pleasant taste on your tongue. Now that you were sat and could rest your bones (until you started setting up your tent, at least), your ears were able to pick up on some not-so-distant footsteps.
There’s no time for you to react; the mara-struck soldier that had been following you lunges at you, aiming for your bag. Your eyes widen and you open your mouth to yell, but before any sound can leave your mouth, a long, red and gold spear pierces the ground between you and the rabid man, making you yelp in surprise. You scurry as far back as you can in your current state; however, the soldier doesn’t have time to take advantage of your weakened stature. The owner of the spear lodges himself before your shaking figure and the mara-struck, yanking his spear out of the ground with impressive elegance, and summons an array of thorny vines to catch your assailant.
It takes little to no effort for the seasoned fighter to take down the mara-struck as he swings his weapon, swiftly knocking the blunt end on the soldier’s plexus, knocking the wind out of him. A strangled scream leaves his throat as he scampers away, leaving your belongings safe with you and the strange red-haired man. He lowers his spear, careful to keep the sharp edge far from you, and turns around to face you properly. His brows raise a smidge for a split second before he composes himself and bows before you, the action short and curt.
“It would have been a shame to lose a beauty such as yourself,” he says smoothly, straightening his back to look down at you with a warm smile. He stretches his hand out, a polite offer to help you stand up, as he continues speaking. “My name is Argenti, I belong to the Knights of Beauty. What might you be doing so far away from civilization, dear...?” he trails off, waiting for you to introduce yourself.
You were in a state of shock, your mind still processing what had happened in such a short amount of time, that you failed to notice the lack of pain at the back of your head. As you meekly tell him your name, you hold onto his hand to help yourself up- as soon as his armored glove comes in contact with your hand something flashes in your mind; too quick to allow you to think about it too much, or to recognize what you saw for a millisecond.
“So far away from civilization... do you know how to get to the city?” you ask as you feel a glimmer of hope spark in you. His words were refreshing, probably the best thing someone has ever said to you in the past month. He nods, reaching into his pocket to fish out a blue handkerchief embroidered with a delicate gold trim. Argenti hands it over to you and you gratefully take it, blotting the sweat and... dust off of your face.
“I have made my way around the Luofu for long enough to show someone the way,” he says kindly. “Besides, even if I didn’t, I would still offer to accompany you through your trek. It is my duty as a Knight of Beauty, for I must uphold chivalry and distinguished manners, in the name of the Goddess guiding me.” His words resonate within you, making you beam, nodding in understanding.
Your reaction doesn’t go unnoticed by the knight. As you hand his handkerchief back, he smiles at you and gestures to your bag. “What brings you so far from your homeworld, my lady?” Argenti asks gently, though a glimmer of doubt swirls in his sparkling, verdant eyes. The question makes you pause, a memory flashing in your mind too suddenly for you to know what it meant. Although, from what you could tell, you knew you could trust him with what troubled you somehow.
“Ah, it’s a long story,” you start sheepishly, “I’ve been having these incredibly painful migraines recently. And sometimes I feel like my memory is fading too quickly for what would be considered normal,” you say, trailing off slightly at the end. “I’m looking for a healer, a doctor by the name of Luocha...?”
Somehow, the doctor was currently the least of your worries. You’d never felt so refreshed before, at least not that you could remember; simply being in Argenti’s presence seemed to be enough to make your aches disappear like a starskiff smoothly gliding through a cloudless sky.
“I’ve seen the man only a handful of times,” Argenti mutters aloud, pulling you out of your thoughts. “I can do my best to guide you to him, but if I may... you don’t seem to be injured?” the knight says, his voice trailing off into a questioning tone despite the observation. You shake your head, wondering how you should explain your predicament to the man.
“Like I said, it’s a long story,” you say again, shrugging sheepishly. You wondered if you should even go into the nitty gritty- he could always just be making small talk to help you get comfortable or something. Sensing your unease, he changes the spotlight to him instead.
“There’s no need to delve into details if you wish to keep them secret,” he says with a kind smile, bending down to take ahold of your hand- gently pressing a chaste kiss on the back of your hand. Red flushes your ears immediately, words caught in your throat at the sight of his hair cascading over his shoulders, a beautiful contrast from the gold and silver armor glittering in what was left of the sunlight.
“As for myself, like I mentioned earlier, I am a Knight of Beauty. I’m on a quest to find my dear Goddess Idrila once more, for I need to pay my respects to them after they saved me from a particularly grim fate.” His words echoed in your mind, your brows knitting together as you felt what could only be described as a cold bucket of water being dunked on your head. “I-Idrila?” you parrot, your voice coming out as a choked noise. Argenti perks up, the hand that had been softly holding onto yours now holding it with a firmer grip, his other hand joining it.
“Yes, Idrila. Have you ever heard of them? Or...” he trails off, looking deep into your eyes expectantly, almost as if he knew something you didn’t. His eyes seemed to suck you in, bringing a comfortable wave of warmth over you, making you yearn for something.
“I...” you begin, your gaze falling down to look at your feet. As you thought long and hard about what you wanted to say, what you tried to remember, you slowly look over to his spear, lying flat on the ground- long forgotten since the fight earlier. As if a lightbulb went off above your head, you perk up just as he did, and look at him, beaming. The words were caught in your throat; there was so much you wanted to say, to declare, to do in this moment of clarity, but with how fast your mind was running to catch you up on the current events of your life it was a struggle.
“Argenti,” you murmur, the name rolling off your tongue smoothly, as you realized seeing the traveling merchant was no longer required. Though the road might have been arduous, and you may have almost lost your mind in the process, being with Argenti suddenly made everything make sense. That’s why your migraines mysteriously disappeared as soon as you were in the knight’s presence, that’s why you had gaps in your memory, that’s why you were freakishly powerful... at convenient times.
Everything clicked into place.
The both of you share a pregnant pause, eyes locked together as the world seemed to come to a stop around you. If it were possible, you’re sure there would be delicate, silky rose petals floating around your figures, suspended in the air. You glance down at his lips, and for the first time, make a decision with a clear head.
His lips felt smooth against yours, the faint taste of vanilla mixed with roses transferring to your own lips. The kiss almost felt like it could be the result of a symbiotic relationship; now that you had Argenti, or at least had him by your side once again, you didn’t think you’d be able to continue on without him.

“Thank you for coming with me.”
You nodded in response as you happily skipped alongside him. One hand was comfortably resting in his, while the other was holding the bubble tea drink you were sipping on. It really was the food of the immortals.
“Thank you for inviting me,” you corrected with a smile. “i’m always here to accompany you when you need me.”
Dan Heng gave your hand a gentle squeeze of gratitude as the two of you continued down the streets of the Xianzhou Luofu.
He had told you about the struggles he had reconciling with his past life. Much to your happiness, he believed he was finally coming to terms with his connection to Dan Feng and the Xiaozhou, and he wanted to experience what it felt to walk around freely at the place he was once banished from before he could truly let go. Whether he wanted to avoid his past life for longer, or whether he wanted to confront it head-on, you would be there to support him no matter what. Still, you were especially glad this was the path he chose. Dan Heng deserved to go on with his life without fear or regrets weighing him down. Plus, it meant you got to explore a new world with him—one of your favorite parts about being a member of the Express.
You passed countless shops and booths during your adventure, each with its own charm and allure that drew you in. Dan Heng occasionally turned around to gaze at the look of awe on your face with a smile.
“This experience is more fun with you,” he said fondly, his thumb rubbing small circles against the back of your hand. “Your excitement is contagious, almost.”
“I wouldn’t be this happy if you weren’t the one accompanying me here, so you have yourself to thank for that,” you teased.
Dan Heng brought your interlocked fingers up to his face and planted a brief peck on the back of your hand. He smiled in gratitude.
As you continued your slow stroll, Dan Heng stopped at certain places to immerse himself in the full experience. The last stop on your trip would be Scalegorge Waterscape, but Dan Heng wished to save that for last and enjoy his time roaming free first.
You passed by a certain food staff and a whiff of freshly cooked dishes made your mouth begin to water. The merchant called you in with the promise of, “If you finish the spiciest soup here, we will give you a lifetime supply of free food!”
Unsurprisingly, you found your grip on Dan Heng’s hand loosening as you wandered over to the food stall. Along the way, you saw a small shop selling the brightest of jewels, one bracelet had a green gem that shined so strongly in the light, it reminded you of Dan Heng’s eyes. Forgetting the food stall, you walked into the vendor’s small shop and asked how much the bracelet was. You wanted to buy it for Dan Heng.
The Xianzhou Loofa may not be his home, but his connection to it ran deep. Perhaps he would like something to remind him of his experience here with you.
Little did you know that, instead of watching and following quietly behind you like you had assumed, Dan Heng continued walking down the path, turning the corner and marching on before he noticed you weren’t by his side.
Believing he was still next to you, you chatted with the merchant happily. You were asking for her recommendations and thoughts before you finally decided on the original bracelet with the green jewel that caught your eye in the first place.
Happy with your purchase, you turned around to share your findings with Dan Heng. You could not wait to see his reaction when you showed him the gift you bought for him.
“Look! I got you something—” you faltered when your gaze met an empty room.
The store was empty, bar you and the shopkeeper.
The merchant silently watched as you talked to yourself, before quickly pocketing the money and scooting away.
Your cheeks warmed as the confusion set in. You knew you had the habit of being impulsive, but you were almost certain you tugged Dan Heng’s hand over here with you...
Before you had the time to recount the events over the past half an hour, Dan Heng burst through the entrance of the shop with an alarmed look on his face. In all the years you have been on the Express, you had never seen him look this frantic. Your stomach dropped.
“Y/N!” he called, distress evident in his voice as he immediately rushed to your side. He examined you from head to toe. “Are you safe?”
Your insides churned as you took in his worry. You hated that you caused him fear for your own safety.
You didn’t hesitate before reaching out to hug him. “Yes, I am safe. I’m okay.” Dan Heng’s arms wrapped around your waist and you burrowed your head in his warm chest. “I’m so sorry.”
He rested his cheek on top of your head and let out a long sigh. It sounded both like one of frustration and one of relief. His voice was stern, yet gentle. “I was so worried, Y/N. Please don’t just disappear like that without telling me.”
You nodded fervently, squeezing him harder, not wanting to let go.
“I’m sorry,” you repeated solemnly. “I promise I won’t wonder off without telling you again.”
You felt his muscles relax at your promise, but you still sensed some tension in his body.
“I was just…fearful.”
You looked up at him.
“I may no longer be an exiled criminal here, but that doesn’t mean grudges don’t run deep,” he explained, softly stroking the back of your head. “I was scared someone go to you when I wasn’t looking— To exact revenge on Dan Feng.”
You shuddered at the thought. You could only imagine the fear Dan Heng must have been feeling the moment you left his side.
“Nobody got me,” you reassured. “I’m safe, and I am so sorry for wandering off without telling you.”
Dan Heng shook his head, slowly letting you go from his embrace, but not yet moving away. “I understand that is just how you are. Normally, I would know you’re capable of defending yourself if trouble were to arise. But, this place…”
His voice wavered before he could finish and you nodded to let him know you still understood.
“Your worry makes perfect sense,” you said. “Xianzhou was a place of fear and punishment for you. I’m sorry for not being mindful of the setting and your past experiences.”
The stiffness in his muscles visibly vanished, the distress on his face slowly melting into acceptance.
“Thank you,” he said quietly. “I forgive you. And I’m happy you are safe.”
“I’m happy, too.”
You toyed with the box that contained the jeweled bracelet you bought for him, but decided to keep it in your pocket for now. You would give it to him when you got back to the Express. But you felt that now wasn’t the time. What you believed Dan Heng needed in this very moment was for you not to leave his side at the Xianzhou Luofu.
“Would you like to continue exploring?” you asked, extending your hand out to him. “I promise I will stay by your side.”
Dan Heng accepted your hand and smiled at the offer. “I’m not sure if I want to see all of Xianzhou. But with you, I feel less fearful of doing such a thing.”
You held his hand firmly in reassurance. “No matter how long or how short you would like to stay, I will be here with you for as long as you need me.”
Dan Heng laced his fingers through yours, gently pulling you along. The two of you walked side by side, down all the paths he wanted to take, excited to complete this journey together.

Synopsis: When you and Jing Yuan were sent to a mission to attempt testing some experimental medicine to mara-struck soldiers but it seemed to have a different side effect.
Genre: SMUT (ITS NOT ME, I THINK ITS SOMEONE ELSE SMH)
WC: 3.4k
Tumblr media
"S-s-so! Miss Y/N would you like to…" One of the physician's assistants was about to ask you something when Jing Yuan interrupted.
"Would she like to what?" Jing Yuan rested his back at the wall and caught your attention.
"Oh! Jing Yuan, you're here!" You happily replied, the assistant looked like he was upset because of the sudden appearance of the honored one.
"Y/N why won't you finish getting the herbs so I can finish my share of work." Jing Yuan sighed annoyingly and walked away.
A few hours later.
“Jing Yuan! I got the herbs you need, as ordered by Sifu… Although I found some weird new herbs growing too and I plucked them out.” You said opening the door to his bedroom-slash-laboratory like, carrying a basket full of herbs and other berries that can be eaten for snacks.
“I’m so frustrated about making herbal medicine, shouldn’t we just pass this responsibility to the physicians?” Jing Yuan rants as he faces the bane of his existence, making herbal tea.
“Well, you are, in fact, a candidate to be the successor of Sifu, you must be all-knowing Jing Yuan.” You sighed and explained to him.
“Let me just give you these herbs…” You added and quickly left the room since Jing Yuan doesn't like to be bothered that much especially when he's studying herbs and medicines.
After roughly 3 hours and a half, Jing Yuan has finally finished making 20 identical vials of very concentrated experimental cure against mara.
You and Jing Yuan were assigned to a mission where you'd fight against mara stuck soldiers and force them to drink the vial after being revived in battle. It was hard but Jing Liu knew that there's no pair in Xiaozhou Luofu that can execute this mission with no flaws, she knew her students better than anyone.
You and Jing Yuan took your leave and headed to cloudford.
"Don't you find it odd Jing Yuan, there's no soldiers around here." You said and sighed as your eyes wandered above and beneath every box in the area and not a single mara struck cloud knight was to be found.
"Yeah, it is weird. I wouldn't be even surprised if we were to be ambushed right now by the enemy." He said and laughed as if the two of you would get defeated by a rookie assassin.
"Say, Jing Yuan, I'm quite curious if you're fancying someone… Perhaps I want to know what kind of ladies you are into. I think it's a privilege to know the future general, the successor of Jing Liu, what's their type, hehe." You said and laughed as you jumped box after box, playing around the area and stopped after you spotted something.
Jing Yuan was quick to follow you and sneaked behind you.
"I'm more curious what made you ask that question suddenly… Hmmm, let's see. I would probably love someone that's a carbon copy or someone who shares the same discipline and characteristics of Sifu." He held his chin with his hand and then wrapped them around your waist and pulled you closer and whispered something to your ear.
"You see, that's the enemy." Jing Yuan pointed out a mara struck soldier sitting in the middle, it appears to have an abnormal behavior compared to other cursed soldiers.
You and Jing Yuan disappeared in a second to ambush the cursed soldiers quickly to force their revival and attempt to use the vials Jing Yuan had created earlier.
Except everything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
You and Jing Yuan were completely unaware that the cursed soldiers' abilities had mutated, therefore they wouldn't act the same as the others.
Instead of being revived, the mara struck soldier has self-destructed in front of you and Jing Yuan and a flash of light has appeared between your eyes.
Little did you know that, that flash of light was just to blind you temporarily and is something that you should not worry about.
"Jing Yuan!" You shouted.
"Y/N, there's a chance that we may have been inflicted with the curse-" Jing Yuan didn't hesitate to drink one vial of the experimental cure that he made because he knew that it's better to be safe than sorry. At that moment, he was quite confident about his knowledge on herbs but he was wrong in one thing.
As a matter of fact, Jing Yuan did not create a cure at all. It was something different.
You were too slow to stop him from doing so and before you could dash towards him, he had swallowed the entire vial already.
"Don't worry about me Y/N, let's just… stay here for a moment." He said and sat on a nearby corner, you thought that he sounded like he was tired and assumed that it was probably because of the flash of light that appeared.
"Then I should also take this vial-" You said but Jing Yuan stopped you from doing so.
"No, if anything goes wrong with me because of the medicine. You would be the one to carry me back in the city and therefore a proper diagnosis can be made.
Jing Yuan's body temperature began to rise a little and he has sweat profusely. As a response, you took one of your clothing that covers your front and used it to wipe Jing Yuan's sweat which made him have a good view of the cleavage of your lovely soft breasts.
Jing Yuan has realized that he may have created an aphrodisiac instead of the cure earlier. He was too vulnerable to speak right now because of his blood rushing somewhere else in the bottom of his body because of the beautiful sight that he is currently blessed with right now.
"Is the vial not working?! D-damn, Maybe you need more. I'll get them for you Jing Yuan." You attempted to find the vials but his manly arms had captivated your entire body, preventing you from finding the vials.
Due to Jing Yuan's weakened state, you managed to break free and grabbed as many vials as you could gather. You thought that if he doesn't want to drink more of it, he might be still under the control of the curse.
So you opened 9 vials and poured them in your mouth and kissed Jing Yuan to force him to swallow the vial.
You wrapped your tongue around his as you were exploring every bit of his mouth when you felt his arms wrapped around your body with one hand traveling its way slowly to your head, pulling you closer to him.
The two of you shared a passionate kiss together with saliva mixed with the vials stringing out from both of your mouths.
Your cheek heated up after the kiss, somehow you still have no idea what the vial contains and felt aroused.
Jing Yuan gently cupped your left breast and you let out a gasp and moaned a little because of his actions. He squished it a little and tried to feel your hardened nipple.
You kissed him again and said in a very seductive tone.
"Let's do this somewhere private like your bedroom or your office~"
"Does my office sound good to you, hm? Darling?"
You nodded and kissed him again and he carried you in a bridal way back to the city.
"What happened to Y/N? Is she injured?" The physicians asked when Jing Yuan walked towards his office.
"She's not, just tired. I'll take good care of her." Jing Yuan said as he held you tightly and pulled you closer to him. You realized how huge of a man Jing Yuan is and you're about to be dominated by him.
He enters his office with you and locks the door as he places you in his bed. Jing Yuan started to remove his clothes leaving his pants, making him half naked. You blushed, admiring seeing his toned body and you knew that you are also the only person seeing Jing Yuan like this. You imagined your hands going on his six-pack abs while kissing him.
"Like what you see?" He joked about it.
"No, I love it." You smirked and replied.
He joins you in bed and kisses you.
"Should we continue where we left off?" He said in a seductive manner and you just turned yourself on top of him and pushed him down in bed to just kiss him.
His hands traveled on your thighs, grasping it and pulled your tight skirt up, exposing your soaking wet panties.
You got up from your kiss and were about to remove your clothes but Jing Yuan stopped you from doing so.
"Allow me to strip you naked, love~" He said in a very deep tone, it felt like he was begging you to make him see every inch of your skin.
He got up and trailed his hands from your breasts to your waist, down to your ass.
He kissed your cleavage hardly enough to leave a hickey in the middle and smelled your body. He kept on kissing your breasts as he began to unbutton your clothes.
Jing Yuan was a few moments away from seeing your lovely soft breasts, his tongue has been aching to lick and play with your hard nipples.
He looked at you for a moment before pulling away the cloth covering your precious pearls and he was stunned and astonished by how delicate your breasts are.
He kissed both of your nipples and played with it. You sat on his hardened crotch and began to grind against it.
Jing Yuan whimpered from your sudden movement.
"Hngh~ I want to be inside of you-!" He said in your ear.
You grabbed one of the vials again, the faintly sweet aphrodisiac that brought the two of you into this and poured it down your breasts to lure Jing Yuan.
He was shocked and immediately grabbed your boob and sucked and licked on every drop of the vial that has been boosting up his sex drive while you continued to grind your soaking pussy against his hard bulge.
Jing Yuan grabbed the tiny piece of clothing that's covering the last of the remains of your dignity and broke it leaving you completely naked against him.
He pulled his pants down and whispered "You ready love? This might hurt a little~" He smiled and kissed you.
You nodded because you haven't had a glimpse of how huge his penis is until you did.
"W-wait!" You said but you felt a sharp pain as his thick cock slowly made its way inside you.
"F-fuck, you're so tight love-" Jing Yuan, whimpered as he tried not to move a lot in order not to hurt you.
"The thought of S-sifu might actually knock on your door right and o-or even little Yangqing coming over, asking if you could p-play with him- The thought of us getting caught in a position like this makes me so h-horny!" You said and moved up and down to adjust yourself but it still hurts a little.
"You're so beautiful, love" Jing Yuan placed his head on your neck and began to kiss and bite it while he had one of his hands on your back and the other one was playing with your boob.
"Should I unlock the door?" Jing Yuan jokingly reached out on the door of his bedroom but you struggled to reach for his arm and attempted to stop him from doing so and you felt like his penis as thrusted inside-out of you within those seconds except it no longer hurts.
You wanted to confirm that something felt really good and you bounced once again and felt the tip of his penis hit your upper walls that helps stimulate your clit.
You rode his penis slowly and created small moans.
"I love to hear you create louder sounds like that, princess." Jing Yuan said and began to fuck you.
"Oh gosh~ Jing Yuan, you're so good~ You're hitting a spot, you're making me feel good-! Gosh! You're going to make me cum!" You said as he held on your thighs tightly and fucked you good, he admired your round breasts bouncing up and down.
He carried you with his cock inside and went outside his bedroom.
"Where are you taking me?" You asked but he said nothing. He began to wall you on his office door and pound you hard leaving these sounds across the walls of the room.
"Y-you're going to create suspicions with the workers!" You said.
"Exactly, moan my name loud or I'll stop fucking you" He ordered and you just began to moan his name out loud.
"Jing Yuan! You're so good! It's so hard, big, and strong~ Do it harder!" You moaned out loudly and he kept on pounding you harder, enough to make the walls shake.
On the other side of the wall, Yukong was the first to notice what on heaven's sake was happening in Jing Yuan's office. The other workers had taken notice of it but they just blushed and remained quiet because they have high respect for you and Jing Yuan and should never speak anything bad towards the two of you.
"Knowing Jing Yuan, I think he wants to show off his ownership against the people fancying Miss Y/N. I'm pretty sure you're well aware that Miss Y/N is a very beautiful lady and being under Jing Liu just makes her one of the most respected women in this place." Yukong stated to some of her workers.
"Kindly avoid passing through the hallways of Jing Yuan's office or get your salary deducted" She added and the workers nodded.
Some of the workers that had a crush on you were even jealous and were very curious to see your womanly face in bed.
But they can't do anything even courting you because as they speak, you are being marked as a part of Jing Yuan's territory that no man has the courage to step foot on.
"God darling! You're so good! Can I plant my seed for you?" Jing Yuan asked as he attempted to catch his breath because he's been pounding you non-stop and a knot is beginning to form in his lower abdomen.
"Yes! Give it all to me! Plant your seed for me!" You moaned out and kissed him.
"I'm going to give you my children Y/N! I want you to stop training under Sifu and be my wife. I'll swear to protect my wife until the end of time and carry my duties as a husband whilst being the general." He said and began whimpering.
"So the woman that you've been fancying for so long~ was me?" You said and he just kissed you hard with his tongue exploring every bit of your mouth.
"Y-yeah!" He continued to whimper while thrusting his cock inside and outside.
"Y-you almost slipped away from my fingers! The assistant of the physician was about to ask you out- I've been wanting you for so long but I never had the courage to do so!" Jing Yuan added as he hardly pushes his big and long cock, destroying you, stirring up your insides.
"I'm going to make you mine" Were the last words that he said before finishing inside of you.
Jing Yuan doesn't pull out as he wraps his arms around you and spoons you in bed in front of him. You could still feel his pulsating member throbbing inside of you while he brushes your hair and you curl up in front of his toned chest getting ahold of his manly smell.
"It's gonna be so embarrassing when I come out of your office later" You said and buried your face more onto him, cheeks heating up.
"Who said you'll come out here? You're not going to come out of here until my cock calms down. Let's just… take a rest for now." He said hugging you to sleep.
"Jing Yuan, you aren't slacking off with my task aren't you?" A familiar voice was heard behind the doors.
Jing Yuan's eyes immediately opened and he stood up naked, trying to find a robe he could cover himself with temporarily.
It's Jing Liu, he could never mistake her voice.
"Hey-" Jing Yuan opened the door a little but Jing Liu grabbed the handle and opened the door widely.
"You're… quite different." She said,
"I was really tired yesterday and the task you gave me took everything outside of myself" Jing Yuan firmly stated as his words hold double meanings.
"Go prepare yourself… I'll get Y/N in her room" Jing Liu took a deep breath and began walking away when Jing Yuan grabbed her arm.
"I… I'll get Y/N, err… we were having bets yesterday and had a little fun with the task you gave me." Jing Yuan lied which Jing Liu obviously knew and decided to play it off and have it his way.
"Whatever." She says.
"Y-Y/N! S-sifu's waiting for us-" Jing Yuan frantically tapped your cheeks in an attempt to wake you up. Your body was wrapped in his blankets due to the mess you made last night.
Your drowsy eyelids open a little and you see the majestic form of Jing Yuan on top of you.
"Jing Yuan, I'm too sore to even stand up- Gosh, you're so handsome" You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him.
"Y-Y/N, now's not the time for this-" Jing Yuan pulled away as the blanket began to unravel.
"You had it your way last night!" You said and pinned Jing Yuan in bed.
Jing Yuan looked away as you began to remove the blanket leaving you completely naked and used it to tie his hands at his back.
"Look at me, I only want you to look at me" You said as if you were a witch manipulating him, he immediately obliged and looked at your heavenly body.
As if a few moments ago he was panicking within the presence of Jing Liu, he was immediately focused on you.
You positioned yourself on his pulsating member and caressed his chest slowly with your soft fingers.
"Y-Y/N, l-let me touch you" Jing Yuan begged as his hands were struggling to be free.
"I guess you need to ask for it" You said as you slid your glistening folds up and down on his cock, enjoying the whimpers that Jing Yuan was creating.
"Y-Y/N, please let me be inside of you! Slide it gently and slowly-" Jing Yuan said followed by a loud moan when you inserted his member inside of you faster and roughly.
You gasped.
"That feels good~" You said in his ears before kissing his neck as you indulge in his hard member.
Jing Yuan takes this opportunity to attempt unraveling the knot that you made on him, making sure that you won't notice a bit.
You stared at the ceiling with your mouth open wide and tongue out near Jing Yuan's mouth, your breath has become short and it becomes faster as each thrust goes by.
He felt so special that you consented into offering yourself to him.
And at last, he finally untied himself.
Jing Yuan stared at you enjoying yourself on top of him, he loved how your hands were traveling and your fingers tracing his body.
"I'm about to cum-" You said as you bounced your hips a little faster until you felt your hands on your back.
"You're having the fun all by yourself" He smirked and grabbed your waist and fucked you rough and faster on that moment.
You uncontrollably moaned as you felt like your cum was induced and wanted to feel it again to make sure that you weren't rushed into doing it.
"Cream me" You whispered to his ear.
"I know." He replied back and hugged him tightly, nails burying at his back as he continues to fuck you rough in bed and make sure that you're filled of his cum until you're full and leaking.
"Where are your students?" Yukong asked Jing Liu.
"I supposed they're training somewhere together, they do not wish for me to be involved" Jing Liu sighs as she knew exactly what the two of you were doing.
A month after, Jing Yuan immediately asked for your hand in marriage which you happily agreed to. He couldn't wait any longer to make you his wife.
He wanted to make sure that everyone sees you as his wife and you get the treatment you deserve.
Then one day you don't know how to break the news to your husband that there's going to be a new family member that's currently residing in your womb <3

I'm ascending with all this yan Jing Yuan content, thank you for feeding us 🙏
Ngl you got me giggling and kicking my feet over this stupid man thing, affectionate.
But have you considered Jing Yuan subtly using Yanqing?
Jing Yuan knows you have a soft spot for the kid, it's hard not to, he's very endearing, and knows you'd never do anything to hurt the kid.
Yanqing is very oblivious to his guardian's true nature, he just thinks you're a bit bashful is all about dating the general. The kid adores you and always begs you to come visit, how can you say no to him?
You don't want him to ever be afraid of you, it'd hurt your poor heart too much, so you never lash out when Yanqing is nearby and tolerate Jing Yuan's antics.
Jing Yuan, being the rat bastard he is, would use this to his advantage.
But I also love the idea of Yanqing being a platonic yan for you, always clinging to you when you're walking the streets of Luofu. Keeping tabs on things that you like or people you interact with to keep dear ol dad in the loop, definitely might've eliminated someone who got a little bit too chummy with you or most likely went to Jing Yuan later on and in a few days that person is suddenly convicted of a serious crime.
You three are like a little family to him, poor kid has always wanted a mom and you're perfect! You seem to fawn over him and when does accidentally calls you mom/mama/etc you never correct him, if anything you encourage him to do so since you believe he needs a maternal figure (also to balance out Jing Yuan's influence over the boy)
Yan Yanqing is highly aware that you're weak to his whims, so he's going to take advantage of it. He really is like Jing Yuan in that sense, but his love for you is purely familial.
Sorry for rambling djxjcjcj I just got excited about the possibilities
Tumblr media
Both possibilities are fantastic 🙈😚💕And sorry for taking so long to reply like I lost touch on another planet🥺
TW: yandere(jing yuan), platonic yandere(yanqing), non-con
You can't resist this precious cinnamon roll, especially with his puppy eyes on the attack? He tells you about his experiences in Cloud Knights. Yanqing may act proud in front of you and crave recognition and praise.
If you tell him that your relationship with Jing Yuan is not the expected couple relationship. He is just harassing you. This truth will break the heart of this child. Jing Yuan is aware of this and uses it as an excuse to bring Yanqing to visit your home, groping you in the kitchen while you prepare your afternoon tea, and putting his fingers in your panties. You still hold the tray of milk and cookies in your hands as you flee from the kitchen, panting.
If Yanqing is platonic yandere? The core of platonic yandere! yanqing is: He is afraid that you will leave him and the general, and disappear silently from the long life. After all, you have nothing to do with them or have an obligation to be around them. You can leave anytime. He feels care and sincerity in you. He wants him to have a mother who loves him. Is it that difficult?
Just like what you described! When you wandered the streets of Luofu, Yanqing followed you closely, helping the general watch out for all possible threats. Yanqing noticed that there is a guy who is too close to you - why are you giggling when talking to him? He even grabbed your hand and confessed to you? Never mind, this dangerous man will be deported to a remote planet soon 🫡
