So yeah we all know that thing of villain Dia and Drasna and how she wanted to be a hero yeah
But like, in the villain Iris au, imagine if Diantha and Iris had a similar conversation tho. Like, after that tournament in Kalos, Dia and Iris were vibing outside the League, talking abt the tournament and how proud Diantha was of her. And ofc, that made Iris really happy, and she was thanking her and Lance (even if he wasn't w them yet) for helping her and for defending her too. Diantha said it was no trouble at all, she couldn't stand the thought of Iris not being happy in Kalos, and to find out there are people who looks down on her, well, ofc Dia's gonna give em a piece of her mind. She did ask tho if there are people like that in her own region. Iris wanted to tell her. She wanted to tell her everything. But she held her tongue, forcing a smile, she shook her head, told her that the people of Unova were supportive of her.
And they started talking abt other things, from pkmn, to Dia's movies, to the other champions, to the stars. Iris loved stargazing, it always calmed her down.
Back at home, she always loved how she has a clear view of the starry night sky in her room. She loves the stars, she studied about the constellations forming with each twinkling luminous body that were in the darkness of the sky, giving light to guide those who have wandered too far. She loved pointing out constellations with her pkmn, w her grandpa, w her friends. It was nice. And she's telling Diantha abt it too. Pointing towards the sky, she went on how abt the constellation of Libra, of Scorpio, of mythological figures, and even those who are in every history textbooks.
"then there's.. the heroes of Unova," she pointed at a set of stars, aligning in an intricate way that if you've no eye for creativity, you won't ever get to appreciate. Though, as she pointed at the constellation, her voice became quiet, smth Diantha noticed.
"something on your mind, darling?"
She hesitated for a bit, then she let out a hollow laugh, "this might sound silly but.. do you.. do you ever think I'll be like a hero?"
Diantha's mind flashed back to the memory of a younger version of herself asking Drasna the same thing. She smiled softly at Iris, gently pulling her close to a side hug, she said, "of course, my dear. I'm sure you'll be a great hero."
"like the heroes of Unova?"
"no, you'll be better than them." And Diantha kisses the top of Iris' head, going on how she's strong and such, Dia is sure she'll be a hero.
That made Iris really happy tho, that someone really believes she'll be a hero. Ofc, she's not gonna let Diantha down, she'll be a great hero, she'll find her own legendary dragon, and then Unova will see that she's better than them.

I re-read some of the Villain Iris AU posts and yeah, Drayton would be DEVASTATED when watching the live stream
Like imagine he’s at home with either his parents or he’s with Drayden at the moment, just trying to stay warm from the ice Kyurem and Iris had placed across the region. He has no idea what to do or what to think, the figure who had terrorized the region, thrown Ghetsis to his death, ruined the ecosystem, made living in Unova actual hell, just revealed themself to be his older sister
And she looks different from how she presents herself in front of him, she looks tired, insane. And when he’s around she looks normal, stressed maybe, but always normal like she wasn’t trying to worry him
Imagine if after the livestream was over, Iris went to find Drayton to invite him to live in Team Plasmas castle with her. He was one of the few people who actually cared for her and looked up to her like she was a hero
And she was his hero
But she just can’t let Drayton live in Opelucid City where there’s barely any food left for the survivors, where it’s freezing cold both outside and inside every building. She wanted her adoring brother to be somewhere safe when she continued to force the region into submission. She wasn’t going to hurt one of the people who cared for her
Last thing but I would think that one of Iris’ goals would be to murder both Hilda and Hilbert. They might’ve been her friends but that was before the voices of Unova got to her, now all she sees is competition she was to be rid off
If the twins are gone, then no one can stop Kyurem from fusing with both Reshiram and Zekrom
And everyone will see Iris as the Hero she always was. As the God she will be
Also I am trying to make this coherent as possible but I’ve only gotten 5 hours of sleep last night and it’s almost 2:00 am rn.

Oh this is fucked up man this is so fucked up imagine how that must've went tho, how she's there trying to convince him to stay with her, I imagine it's like,, set after her fight w Hilda, like the one where Hilda broke her nose cause she punched her, imagine that. Iris telling the Shadow Triad to get Drayton for her, ofc, she wants to keep her brother safe too, he always adored her, always looked up to her, saw her as a hero even before she got Kyurem, why would she abandon him the same way everyone else abandoned her?
When the Shadow Triad returned, Drayton in hand, he was trembling as he staggered back, reaching out for his Archaludon's pokeball, only for it to not be there, seeing his pokemon at the hands of the Shadow Triad. And finally he sees Iris standing before him, Kyurem looming behind her, casting a shadow over them, making Iris' crimson eyes glow an ominous light. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest, as Iris was kneeling before him, the Shadow Triad disappearing. And ofc he expected the worst, Iris was covered in blood, the blood from her nose smeared all over her mouth, her jaw, even on her gloves. Removing her gloves, she reaches out to him, making him flinch as he felt her hand on his head, ruffling his hair.
Looking up at her again, he sees her smile, but god it wasn't the same one he's so used to seeing, this one feels twisted, sordid, it didn't feel right, her fangs were bared, as she said, "I'm glad you're safe, Drayton." And god he fucking hates it absolutely hates it how the one looking so adoringly at him isn't the same sister who used to tell him stories when they were younger, who gave him piggyback rides, who always believed he can achieve so many things despite his laziness; no, this wasn't his sister, this was a monster mimicking his sister, and god did he hate it, "I don't know what I'd do if anything happens to you."
Imagine her pulling him up to a hug tho, he can smell the blood on her, it made his stomach churn. Then she's there smiling again, god he doesn't wanna look at her anymore. "I can't just let you live here with grandpa, you know how he is, plus..." She looks down from the Frigate, looking at the state Opelucid is in, "do you really wanna live in this frozen death trap?" She then turns to him, "in the castle, you can have all the food you want, it's warm there too," she said, pulling him to her side. "You don't have to worry about going to school, not like you cared about it in the first place, right?" She laughed at that, Drayton just wants to run away from her
But can you imagine tho Drayton finally confronting her abt shit, why she became like that, she was a great Champion, she was his hero, everyone loved her. Then suddenly Iris' demeanour changed, she was almost glaring at him, staring right through him, almost piercing. Her voice was cold, bitter cold, "don't be naive, Drayton." She spat out, "do you honestly think they'd tell you they hate me right at your face?" Taking a step forward, he took a step back, "do you really think they'd tell you how much they hate me?" He took another step back, "do you really think that I don't hear about the way they wanted Hilbert to be the Champion, how much they looked down on me, how much they wanted me to lose?" His back had hit the edge of the Frigate, "do you really think I don't know how much this region hates me?"
Drayton tried to tell her that not everyone hates her, they shouldn't, she's doing everything for this region, then she just laughs as she shakes her head, pulling him to a hug again. God he hates the smell of blood. "You should know better, Drayton." Her voice was but a whisper, "you should know, our family looked down on you too," her grip turned tight, "I heard everything they said about you. How you can never be at their level. Can never be a Dragon Master." And she's there stroking his hair, "even when you became Champion of the academy, they didn't care." Then she pulled away, looking at him like how she looked back then, so softly, like the sister he once knew, "but I cared. Grandpa may never be proud of you, but I am."
And just hcmxbxn y'know Iris just low-key manipulating him, snapping her fingers and suddenly the Shadow Triad showed up again, handing over Drayton's pokemon, as she tells them to lead Drayton to the quarters, to let him rest for a bit, to give him food, as Iris herself will plan her next attack. Ofc, the twins being her next target. She already has Zekrom with her, already fused with Kyurem. Now she only needs Reshiram, and soon she'll have the Original Dragon by her side, submitting to her commands.
Soon, she'll show them just who the God of Fate truly is.

Some more villain au stuff
Imagine the Unova kids noticing there really is smth off w Iris too tho, cause like, at first they thought that hey she was still mourning over Drayden, and they're happy the other Champions are there for her too. Then suddenly she starts wearing the Indigo Champion's cape, suddenly she's soaring around Unova to stop crime, she said, to make sure Unova is safe, to make sure that their region wouldn't have to deal w another Team Plasma again. Then suddenly she's cold, suddenly she's distant, suddenly her temper became short.
Suddenly they see her almost killing someone.
They're hurting that poor pokemon, her grip on her pokeball tight, and they don't want me to help?
She doesn't understand the Unovan people. She's soaring around the region to patrol for anyone trying to ruin it, they get mad bc she's supposed to be at the League being a champion. she does her job, they still get mad bc she's always up at the League, not helping the people. Just what do they want me to do?
It's always been she's too young. Always been she doesn't deserve that. And now they think I'm too brutal to criminals, even though I'm doing the right thing? I'm the Champion, I just want this region to be safe!
Then Hilbert is there, in her chamber at the league, "this time, I'm sure I'll win!" He had always been so cheery, it reminds her of Hau.
He lost. He almost won. But Iris wasn't weak, ofc she wasn't, she's not champion for nothing, she's been champion this long, and the others had trained her well, why would she ever disappoint them.
Hilbert looked at her with a somber look, he never looked at her like that ever, even after every battle trying to take her title. "They're worried about you." She raised a brow at that, "Hilda, N, Cheren, even though they wouldn't admit it. Bianca.." her hands twitched at the name, "we're all worried about you. You just seem more.. distant." She sighed, said she's just stressed over her champion duties, she told him she's just keeping herself busy to forget the void her grandfather left after he died, and Hilbert understood. He approached her, pulling her close to a hug, "we're here for you, Iris. You're our friend. You don't have to deal with all this alone." And she just stood there, unsure what to do, unsure what to feel. Then he pulled away, a sad smile on his face, "maybe next time, we could all get to hang out again! Hopefully you're not busy soon." He laughed and bid his farewell, promising that next time he's really gonna win.
She watched him leave, and she's alone once again in her chambers, a million thoughts running in her mind. But she shakes them off, there's no point to those thoughts, she's doing her duties as Champion, she's protecting the weak, protecting her friends, doesn't matter if blood gets shed.

Also, which of the Elite Four members and Gym Leaders do you think would join Team RR? Either out of fear or just because they think they can benefit from it?

Your honour that's so fucked up I can only imagine Drasna really going through it but also still trying to comfort Augustine, but they're both really so out of it man, especially how Drasna knew of the threats Dia's mother said to her; Drayden's there on the hunt for Plasma, just letting his rage out on all the grunts he sees, the sages, until he gets to Ghetsis himself; Joseph couldn't handle it man, he already lost his wife now he lost his son, the sound of Steven's screams haunts him; god Lisia too, the only family she had left and now he's being drowned, and she cursed the irony of it, of Wallace being so drawn to the waters but it's also one of the reasons for his death; Cyn's sister and grandparents tho chdmdb like Cyn's sis knew Cyrus was her friend, and she couldn't believe Cyrus would do that to Cynthia; and then there's Hop, crying his poor little heart out, screaming for his brother, the once great champion of Galar reduced to nothing but a chew toy for those pokemon.
Ough that's fucked up, but also where the fuck is Geeta in all this— imagine tho in the au of an au where she's evil, imagine she's the one to tell Lysandre what would really break Diantha, bc Diantha confided in her y'know, told her everything, her best friend, her platonic soulmate, then suddenly Geeta looks at her with cold and calculating eyes, suddenly she wasn't the friend Diantha knew, and god that fucking broke her man, how Geeta used Dia's vulnerabilities, how she knew each and every one of em, and used that to her advantage chsnnd
But for the not evil Geeta thing imagine if she did hid herself tho, and everyone else called her a coward. But that was the last thing Diantha told her, Dia made her promise to hide, like what she said to Iris, to just hide, to not let Giovanni find her. But that backfired on Geeta tho, and now everyone, especially the family of the other Champions, called her cowardly, how she couldn't even try to help her fellow champions, how she couldn't even try to save them. But man that would haunt her too, having to watch Diantha die, having to watch her friends die, it fucked her up so so much and she hated herself so much that she didn't defy Diantha and went to her side to help her
As for the league members thatd join Team RR
For Kanto idk, since in the manga majority of em was associated w Rocket,, well let's go w that. Sabrina, Surge, and Blaine are my top three for that, tho I wanna say Blaine was blackmailed into joining bc he was one of the people who made Mewtwo. Green would be against them tho, I know the Kanto trio would team up w the rest of the Gym Leaders to stop them.
For the Johto leaders, I really can't see any of them joining Team RR, even if they're threatened I think some or most would rather go down w a fight than to join em. For the Indigo E4, low-key I think Koga and Will would join em.
For Hoenn's league, Norman. And for Sinnoh to Unova none of em they'd be against RR, Unova especially man they really fought tooth and nail to stop Plasma only for Plasma to be part of RR and is now more threatening than before. For Kalos, I honestly think Lysandre would threaten and blackmail Malva to joining again, idk if she'd cave in or not bc holy shit™. Alola to Paldea, none too, idk, bc Alola didn't want to be part of it ofc, their league is still fairly new, most of their members are children, if anything I wanna say they'd try to fight them off if they do get to their region. The Galarian people got Rose Tower demolished man they're so fucking pissed at Rose, no one's ever seen Raihan and Sonia that pissed before too like these two especially want to hunt down Rose. And for Paldea, well, not only are they mourning the other Champions but also mourning and kinda hating on their own Champion too, my guy, Geeta's really going through it, she doesn't wanna lose anyone else, so she keeps an eye on her league members within the shadows, to make sure none of them ever join RR

The only thought bouncing around in my head is that when Iris told Hau that her favourite games are first person shooters, the first thing he said was “you really are Unovan”. Man said it without thinking and they thought it was the funniest shit at the time. Iris always bring it up whenever they play fps together
Anyways, do Iris and Hau ever try get the older champions to play video games with them? Imagine them trying to tell each of the champions what buttons do what and one of them (preferably Lance) says the whole “back in my day we just had two buttons and a joystick”. And once they get the hang of the game controls, it’s just chaos. They’re all yelling at each other and throwing insults left and right
God, imagine playing Mario Party with them. No one would be safe

Also that's fucking cute tho??? Iris and Hau just teaching the older champions abt new games and such and asking em to play w em and I'm gonna end up rambling again bc champions as found family doing mundane stuff just makes me soft
Lance definitely would say that tho checks out too bc Cynthia even makes fun of him how he doesn't know how to use his phone that much hahaha but hey he's vibing tho, he likes seeing the kids happy, although he's still a little bit confused by the controls. They do find out tho he also likes fps games, and now Hau has to deal w not one, but TWO bloodthirsty and rage filled champions when it comes to those games. Lance swears like crazy when playing he rages like no shit, and that's how Hau discovered every cuss word in the book
Now Steven likes Mario Party w them, he said it's fun and he thinks the character dice are cool too, he likes the design. But honest to God he fucking hates losing. This man has the most passive aggressive aura when he fucking loses I shit you not. Like they could be playing Mario Kart and someone blue shells him, he would just smile and go "now, that wasn't very nice," while gripping the controller hard. He broke three controllers now actually
Wallace has experience at least bc his niece does like playing video games too, and it's nice watching Iris and Hau play whenever they have their champion's meet up, reminds him of Lisia. But I also wanna say he's really shitty when it comes to games, Hau and Iris ended up showing him Stardew Valley bc hey it's just a farm sim, he doesn't have to be quick or anything, and he actually liked it and said he's going to date every npc and the two said it's on brand of him—
Cynthia knows every kind of game under the sun, and the three of em have lil game nights too, altho it also ends w Cynthia encouraging them pulling an all nighter bc she's the type of player to grind until she gets the item she wants. Really into online RPGs, likes the character customization, and likes the stories, got Iris and Hau to play those games w her too and imagine she's like max level/rank and the two are just "woah, you must've played this game for a long time hahah" and Cynthia's just "oh no, I just started playing this yesterday"
Teaching Diantha how to play the games they wanted was a mess bc Dia was asking what each of the buttons are for almost every two seconds, so they end up installing games on her phone instead bc the only other game she had there was chess. She didn't really get the hang of the games Iris and Hau plays, but she's really fucking good at rhythm games. Like... It's terrifying. She'd probs clear out the hardest song of Project Sekai or Osu or ADOFAI or whatevs and they found out no matter what platform, Dia's hands are quick to press the right keys, and after the hard levels she's all "that was fun, do they have other songs? I think I've cleared out everything"
They invited Leon to their online rpg game once. He got lost trying to find them. They ended up showing him platformer games and it really made him happy cause he legit just has to go one way every time hahah. He's good w the Mega Man games tho, also somewhat good at speedrunning said games for whatever reason Iris and Hau can't figure out— they made him play Cuphead once, never again, Diantha almost didn't buy them another console after Leon raged when he couldn't beat Cagney Carnation after numerous attempts and actually threw his controller at the screen. Surprisingly tho, he doesn't cuss when he rages, probs experience playing w Hop too hahaha
Since Iris and Hau knows Geeta loves horror movies, they also made her play horror games as well. To no surprise she's good at those games, knows where to find every item, how to progress no matter how cryptic the instructions are, how to outrun the one trying to kill her, doesn't fucking flinch when there's a jumpscare— they also showed her Dead by Daylight and man she fucking loves that game so much and Iris and Hau were low-key regretting it bc now Geeta invites almost every champion to play that game w her bc she knows she's gonna win every fucking time and it's not like they don't like to see Geeta being happy, I'm sure it's what Diantha wanted too, but every time Geeta kills one of their player characters she start laughing to herself and starts humming "I wonder who's next" while hunting down the others. It kinda scares them hahaha
But yeah imagine Smash Bros w them tho cjdmdn like they would be at each other's throats going on why they choose the charac they chose or some are even fighting over the same character bc ofc "I chose them first!" "No! I did!" But hey, at the end of the day, they're just having fun, no matter how many controllers or consoles got broken every game night

Yeah, like, idk, I wanna say Johto and Kanto weren't that open yet or maybe Lance just lives under a fucking rock and that he's so busy he won't notice, but like yeah maybe one day he's flying over Johto patrolling, sees this parade in Goldenrod, got curious, and went down too
Everything's rainbow coloured he's so confused, then he sees Kris and Gold in the crowd, calls for them, asks them what's going on, and Kris went "it's pride month, champion"
"ah.. well, I am proud of you two..!"

She ended up adding Iris too, bc ofc she also knows a lot abt it and she's the same age as the kids in Johto so maybe she could help Lance more on what to say and such. The call surprisingly went well, for once Cynthia wasn't making fun of him and Wallace was really patient, so Lance took notes and such, after hearing the horrible things that happens to some kids when they come out, he doesn't want that to happen to the people of his region(s), and certainly not to his kids and his cousin
But hey, least now he knows some more stuff abt it, not all ofc there's still so much he has to learn, but he's patient yknow, and he wants the others who come out to him to feel safe, and he may not understand it much but he'll be supportive no matter what. Least now, when Silver finally comes out to him, he finally knows what to say too

Yeah so in my lil au, Lance and Diantha actually met at Kalos during one conference when they were younger, and they actually battled, Diantha was champion during that time already, but Lance was still climbing up the ranks of the Indigo League, but he's strong yknow, he even beat the E4, so yeah they met during that, I wanna say Dia's like nineteen and Lance was twenty-one during that
And they kept in touch yknow, they'd check in on each other from time to time, and a few years later, when Lance told her he was part of the Indigo League Elite Four, she was so excited and happy for him, so she decided to celebrate w him by visiting Johto. And yeah, the two became closer than ever, and like, yeah around their second year being friends they decided to try a relationship w each other, and hey it worked out yknow, really well that they're still together after years
And like cbdmdn ough idk, I want it to be like bcmdnd like yknow how Iris was originally from Blackthorn, imagine if before the elders gave her away to Drayden, Lance decided to take her in, telling the elders since he's the head of their clan now, he can do whatever he wants, and he wants to take care of the child, she was a Blackthorn now and there's nothing they can do abt it
He called in Diantha, said "so I fought with the elders and.. and we have a kid now."
"....excuse me, WHAT"
"*sends a pic of Iris playing with Dragonair* her name is Iris"

So yeah, Diantha rushed to Johto after her lil panic, and like idk, imagine once she got there she sees Lance holding Iris close to him, and he's reading her a book abt dragons, and lil Iris was so amazed by everything, then they finally saw her, and Diantha's heart almost couldn't take it, Iris was looking at her, those bright red eyes shining w such a light, and Dia just caved in when Iris smiled at her, she honestly cried
And like yeah yknow just cjmxxn they're all soft and such, that night all three of them were together in Lance's room, w Iris between them, and she's there pointing at Lance calling him dad and pointing at Diantha calling her mom and Dia cried again— hugging Iris all "that's right, little one, oh you are so amazing!" And Iris was there giggling and hugging her back, repeating the word mom over and over again. And god Lance just looks at them and man he just loves them so much he joined in on the hug it's all so sweet I'm jcjxnxmx
But like yknow cjdmnd once Iris was asleep, Lance and Diantha finally have a lil talk and such, and it was oh so sudden yknow, that suddenly they have a kid now, and they didn't even get to talk abt having a family of their own just yet, and they're honestly terrified that they'd become like their parents. But like, yknow, Iris was w them now, and even if she just entered their life so suddenly, they couldn't imagine their lives without her. And yeah, they promised each other that they'll be good parents to Iris, that they won't fail her like how their own parents failed them
And just chmdndn yknow, a year later maybe, Diantha visits Johto again, it was a bit rough for them considering that Diantha's still Champion yknow and she's an actress too, she has a ton of shit to work on back at Kalos, but at least she gets a few months breaks every once in a while. So yeah, she's at Johto now, and it's all cool yknow, they're out on a lil outing and such, visiting Ecruteak, and even Goldenrod, and getting some rage candy bars at Mahogany, and imagine that's where they met Silver tho
Like they see this five year old kid trying to steal candy behind the vendor's back, and Lance was there telling him off but like, the kid looked so scared but also equally pissed, and like, Lance and Diantha asking him where his parents were and he just sneered at them saying that his parents are weak and bad and he doesn't like them and doesn't wanna be w them anymore
Lance was abt to say more stuff, but like Diantha's there crouching down to the kid's level, asking him abt his name, where he's from, and like, ough jdmd Silver calming down and telling her everything, and then Dia smiled at him and buys him more food, and ofc Silver was shocked to say the least bc she was really nice to him. And like, Dia telling him that he shouldn't even be roaming around without a Pokémon of his own, as he could get hurt, but he didn't care he told her, he's strong. Diantha knew that's a bluff ofc, even a little Flabebe could hurt a child, but Silver clearly trusts her a bit, so she just nods along. But yknow, imagine after that, Silver just quietly follows them around, like at a distance, bc he doesn't wanna be seen as weak
But they all noticed him yknow, Iris especially, kept waving at him and he's there making shushing motions so she wouldn't blow his cover, but she just wants to be his friend yknow. And Lance just went "yknow if you want to stay with us for dinner, you can, I'm sure Iris would love to have someone to play with" and Silver just accepted cause honestly it's better than living on the cold streets of Johto
And yeah just cjmdnd ough pls them just taking care of Silver too tho, giving him new clothes before they actually got home, buying him the snacks that he wanted, even got him some games and toys cause they know Iris doesn't like sharing much and they'd rather not have two kids fighting while they're trying to think of what to do w Silver since from what they know his parents are still around yknow.
But also imagine Silver and Iris bonding while Lance and Diantha prepare their dinner, Iris is there showing off her dragon plushies to him, telling him that one day she's gonna be a Dragon Master too, and Silver scoffs at that saying he wants to be strong enough to be Champion
Iris just up and goes "ohh! mom is a Champion!"
"really?"
"yeah! Champion of.. uh.. Kalos!"
So later that night, before dinner, Silver went to Diantha and said that he wants to be a Champion like her too
And yknow yeah years later after they got everything settled, they're just a happy lil family, while yeah Diantha was still a bit busy w her Champion duties, and Lance w his E4 and soon to be Champion duties, they somehow made it work. Sometimes the kids even stay at Kalos w Diantha and her family. So hey it's all cool hahah

•Lance has a a ton of scars on his back and his chest, and it's from "training" for his Clan Leader duties
-oftentimes the elders just say it's training for endurance
-the elders hated him for sparing Clair from the "training" taking all the hits from her, but he'd rather not have her go through the same like he did
•Lance had to kinda raise Clair on his own as well, seeing as her parents were very traditional and still held the standards of the Blackthorn Clan
-they were also kinda neglectful
•Steven's mother died when he was young, and the Metagross he has now was once a Beldum that his mother gave on his tenth birthday
-Metagross is one of the few reminder he has of her, seeing as his father hid or threw everything away that's a reminder of her from their own home in Rustboro
-but in his home in Mossdeep, he still kept the necklace she had with an emerald stone in it, and he never showed it to his father in fear of taking it from him
•Wallace was disowned by both of his parents, and he lived w his sister for a few years before meeting Juan and finally getting back on his feet
-his sister died bc of childbirth, and he had to raise Lisia on his own bc he doesn't trust his brother in law, seeing as he left the moment he found out she was pregnant w Lisia
-he doesn't think he's that responsible, but he is, oftentimes he just fears that maybe one day he'd become like his parents, and he'd rather die than to be like them
•Iris honestly hates lil holidays like "father's day" and "mother's day" bc she has no one to celebrate it w
-when she was younger, she'd often get envious of her friends who get to celebrate it w their own parents
-but as the years went by, she learnt to live w it, just being content that she has Drayden w her

•Geeta's family was also kinda,, traditional?? In a sense?? But like in a sense where they're rich and such, that the parenting style made Geeta look down on people and was taught that if she had enough money she could get them to do whatever they want

-she honestly doesn't know what to feel most of the time, she kinda trained herself to be numb to almost everything and she conditioned herself to believe everyone else has the same mindset as her

What do they do on Halloween?
Do they watch Horror movies? Walk around the Neighbourhoods looking at decorations? Start putting up the Christmas lights already? Go to Haunted houses? Or do any of them go Trick or Treating?
Actually about that last one, what would the Champions dress as?

Ohhh that's fun! But do spare me bc I have no experience w Halloween as in my country we only have the Four Months of Christmas™ hahaha so like yeah I'm gonna base all this on the shows I watch lmao
Anyways going w the first gen champs
My guy, Geeta is absolutely fucking vibing, the biggest horror fan and the one who goes all out during Halloween, Diantha's vibing too in a different way, like fr, once October hits, Geeta's there waking Diantha up all "mi ángel, it's Halloween soon, we need to set up the traps"

"for the horror house. I'm sure people would love it this year."
"darling, please, you went overboard last time, you traumatized someone."

Cynthia and Lance would go around the neighbourhood tho judging their decorations. Going on how that guy didn't even bother, that lady is trying too hard, they're sure as hell some of their decorations are just their ghost pokemon. These two then tell Geeta all the decorations the other peeps in the neighbourhood has and she plans to outdo them, this is honestly the only time of the year these three get along well lmfao like they're that competitive they want their house and their decorations to be the very best like no one ever was hahaha
Wallace and Diantha do go all out on costumes fr, Lance and Steven has to deal w them, they have to be matching, for the aesthetic. Diantha and Wallace also really competitive, wanting to outdo others' costumes. Dia and Lance do supervise Iris and Hau when they go trick or treating back then when they were younger, it's always nice to see the kids having fun and making new friends, tho Dia did have to limit their sweets during those nights bc the first time they celebrated Halloween together, Hau and Iris and even Cynthia did not sleep the entire night bc of the sugar rush, Dia now knows better lmao. Also doesn't let Cynthia watch over the kids when out trick or treating, Cyn taught them how to actually trick people to get more candy.
Leon would celebrate the Four Months of Christmas™ fr, even gets the kids to join him. Look, he's not like Diantha who indulges Geeta in her grotesque horror filled interests, he just wants presents and snow and having the fam together and presents okay, homeboy would put up the Christmas lights as soon as September hits lmfao like their house would be halved w Geeta's Halloween decorations and Leon's Christmas decorations. Geeta, out of spite, placed spiders and witches hats on Leon's Christmas decorations; Leon, in revenge, also put Christmas hats and reindeer headbands on Geeta's Halloween decorations. It's always a war zone in there home once September or October hits hahaha
Idk what they'd wear tho fr, I just know Wallace and Diantha would have the most aesthetic costumes out of all of them lmfao, Geeta would have like,, idk, she gives off the vibes she'd have a costume of Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, her mask is so detailed that it scared everyone. Y'know Leon's Christmas get up in PokeMas? Yeah, I know he'd wear that during Halloween just to spite Geeta lmfaooo homeboy would defend himself saying it's still a costume hahaha

Bet the moment she heard they have Silver now, aka her new nephew, she gave him a Larvitar instead, going on how "it's not a Dragon, but I think it's only fair since Iris already has a Dragon type, so Silver's Pokémon should be something else, like Diantha's."

Also it'd be cool if Tyranitar is his ace in this au, bc Tyra can Mega Evolve yknow
God Augustine was over the moon as well, he's like so excited he's an uncle now, imagine him just telling the kids stories abt Dia tho, and just chmdnd him telling the kids abt Mega Evolution, and that's how they discovered abt the mega stones and such yknow, and Silver was so interested in it he wanted a mega stone too, he wanted his Larvitar to mega evolve, and Augustine just laughs and smiles at him, ruffling his hair, "soon, my boy, when your Larvitar becomes a Tyranitar, it can mega evolve like your mother's Gardevoir" and it got Silver so excited he already wanted to train his Larvitar to evolve hahah
Drasna would tho for fucking real cjxmdn like she's the grandma everyone wants hahaha she'd spoil them rotten, imagine how excited she was meeting Iris and only for a year later she meets Silver and she's there hugging the two of them tight all "my grandbabies!" W tears in her eyes. Dia leaves them w Drasna for a bit while she does her Champion duties or acting gigs for a bit, and Drasna's already off w the kids heading to Lumiose before Diantha can give a list on what to do, but hey she trusts Drasna so at least hahah
She def finds Silver's personality endearing too, reminds her back then when Diantha was also so insistent she'd be strong like LucarioMan, but Silver was all "I wanna be strong like mom, I wanna be the Champion too!"

So if we were to continue from the Unova Kids Villain AU, where Iris tried to kill Diantha and the Kalos E4
Godd just, when Gardevoir teleports them away to someplace safe, Diantha is in shock till she just starts breaking down in front of the E4. Just crying and yelling at herself for being so stupid. How could she not see what was Iris’ real intentions. She put her E4 and herself in danger because she only cared about Iris and not others safety. Blaming herself for what happened, direction the anger and sadness and confusion to herself, even though it was Iris to blame for what happened
But, Diantha could never blame her daughter. She would never admit to herself Iris had full intentions to murder her. No matter what, she’s always going to love her daughter, despite Iris not returning that love
Ough imagine Drasna calms down Diantha and tells them they have to find someplace more secluded, before Iris and Kyurem finds them again and attacks, because Gardevoir most likely can’t teleport them all anymore since she’s already teleported four of them from Kalos to Unova
And idk what would happen next, like do they find the other champion? Encounter the other Unova Kids? Find someone from the Unova League and get their part of the story?
But I do know it’s gonna be even more crushing for Diantha when she eventually regroups with the Champions, Lance especially. Because she’s going to have to tell Lance that the person they took in as their daughter just tried to freeze her to death
Iris is just having the time of her life retelling the story to the rest of the Unova kids. Laughing about the whole ordeal. You wanna know what fucked me up though? I imagined when Iris was telling the story, she was exaggerating the story like it was nothing. Like how teenagers do to make themselves seem cooler in front of their friends. Like they were all at the League just laughing around, hangout out with each other like teenagers
But they are teenagers. All of them (expect N whos probably 20 by now) are teenagers and they’re the ones who causes all the damage in Unova
(I honestly forgot if they’re young adults in this AU but still, they’re not even mid 20’s and they’re doing mass murder)

Fucking imagine her like legitimately breaking the fuck down, clutching Lance's cape as if it were her lifeline, hands trembling as her knuckles turn white, imagine her crying her heart out even as Lance tries to comfort her. Like can you imagine how that would be for the other champs bc Diantha is usually so calm and composed and the epitome of elegance and now she's hunched over crying, trying to form words through her tears as she clutches Lance's cape, sobbing on his chest, going on about Iris, Kyurem, and how Diantha's blaming herself for being so goddamn stupid. Like imagine what it's like for them and the Kalos E4, imagine if that's legitimately the first time almost all of them saw Diantha actually cry
And ofc, maybe the other champs and even Lance thought Iris was dead, Unova's like a frozen wasteland now, but imagine their surprise and their fear when Diantha and even the Kalos E4 told the Champions how Iris almost killed them. Like imagine the other champs not believing that at first, how could Iris, their sweet Iris, their little sister, kill someone?? That's.. that's not right. But with how Diantha is still trembling like a leaf, how even Malva and Siebold were looking to the side looking troubled, and how Wikstrom and Drasna were so worried about Diantha, well.. maybe it's true. And now they fear what's gonna happen next, they fear that if Iris was willing to kill Diantha, someone who was like a mother figure to her, then imagine how willing she would be killing the other Champions
And then w Iris chdmdb ough that mental image is dope your honour holy shit😭😭
Like them at a meeting hall or smth, Iris at the head of the table, telling her friends about her encounter with Diantha, and ofc the lil shit is gonna try to impress them, especially since her lil crush is around too, ofc she's gonna tell them how Diantha was begging for mercy, how weak the Kalos champ truly was, that even w Mega Gardevoir, she lost to Iris and Haxorus. Even better that Diantha called in the Kalos E4, ofc Iris is also gonna tell them how they were weak as well, that they never stood a chance against her, "shows, really, I'm that powerful," she boasted, leaning on the table, "and the people of Unova thinks I'm weak."
And ofc everyone else was impressed y'know, even going on how they'd want to see just how pathetic Diantha and her league were, and then they hear word that the other Champions are around, and of fucking course they want to see if they're also that weak, especially now since Iris was going on if Diantha lost to her, then she's sure as hell the other Champions are gonna lose to them. They'll make all the Champions see just how powerful they are, and the dragons will help them in doing so.

God just imagine the destruction is being broadcasted and others watching from other regions.
Just Diantha and Lance frantically calling Iris to see if she’s alright and if she needs their help stopping The Original Dragon, but she isn’t answering their calls.
Or Hau trying to catch a flight to Unova to help out his sister but all airlines are shut down for safety reasons. And all he can do at the moment is watch the broadcast until he can figure out a solution

Imagine some of them are using their Pokémon to fly to Unova since the airlines refuse to fly to Unova while it’s under attack. But during the flight they didn’t have cell service to continue watching the live broadcast, so imagine someone like Diantha makes it to Unova and immediately goes to find Iris, hoping she’s okay and not hurt from the attacks
Not knowing Iris is one of the people behind the attacks

that's fucked up man fucking imagine Dia being so desperate she and Gardevoir teleported to Unova, and when she got there everything's a fucking mess, almost everywhere is a ghost town, it reeks of death and blood and burnt flesh. She's starting to spiral, just where is Iris? Calling out her Gardevoir, both teleported to Opelucid. Imagine her seeing the frozen bodies, the frozen corpses, the dried up blood mixing with the snow, splattered on the ice, the way Drayden's body almost as if it was crucified right in front of the gym. Her heart almost dropped, she ran to Drayden's home, now unsure whether or not she wants to see Iris there, in fear that she might be dead too. Fortunately (or unfortunately) Iris wasn't there.
Diantha can't contact the other Champions, she wasn't sure where Iris was, then she hears a thunderous roar almost sounding from the south eastern part of the region, so ofc, she was worried af abt Iris too, she doesn't know what's going on, but man, she just has to get to her daughter, she has to make sure Iris was safe, so she and Gardevoir rushed to the source of the noise, hoping and praying to Arceus, to whatever god is truly up there, that heer daughter is safe.
But also csnxbjd ough y'know since Iris has no troubles killing off Drayden, what if she does the same w Dia when they finally meet. Like,,, oughghfhcfhdj your honour😭😭😭
Like imagine, once Diantha finds out Iris is the one behind all the deaths, she tries to stop her, despite knowing she's gonna lose, but y'know.... Y'know cjdnchn ough like, Diantha clinging on to what little hope she has left that her daughter will hear her, that she can get through Iris, that she can bring her back home with her and Lance. But ough!! Iris just staring at her, this empty look in her eyes, and suddenly she smirks at Diantha, and Diantha's fate about to be sealed by the Original Dragon's Glaciate.
Can you imagine Lance and the others finally getting to Unova, and just cbdmndj imagine Lance seeing just that tho, seeing Iris about to kill Diantha, and it just fucking breaks him your honour this is breaking me too owo

Where do each of the champions go after Diantha disappears? Do they go to their leagues and discuss what happened? And how to protect their regions if Diantha ever comes there. Or do they just hide from the public
But what about the champions on Diantha side? I imagine if they ever go back to their leagues then they’re gonna threaten the gym leaders and elite fours. That if they don’t stay on their side than they’d face a worse consequence than death. Or maybe they don’t want to go to hard so they threatened to have their lives ruined if they betray them
But like uygnhh Lance, Iris, and Hau have family in their leagues. I don’t think Clair, Drayden, or Hala would take well to being threatened, so they’ll try argue back or reason with their champions only for them to let out one of their Pokémon who quickly attacks, not enough to kill but it definitely injured them well. Seeing their champion attack family would definitely show the rest of the league that they aren’t joking around
One more thing I wanted to ask, do you think the leagues, or at least the family members, would realize or suspect that Geeta/Lance/Iris/Hau is being manipulated and/or brainwashed by Diantha? Like they know that a strong enough Gardevoir can manipulate emotions? Or do they just think that this is a side of their champions that they’ve never seen
The champions did head back to their own respective region, Leon especially became so paranoid he discussed matters abt it w his own League. But I also wanna say that even his Gym Leaders start to low-key question him, not really saying it to his face y'know just being quiet when he talks, bc ofc, Dia was right, Rose did threaten them. Raihan got threatened the most, and Nessa knows how much Rose threatened Sonia to the point she gave up on the gym challenge in fear of being killed. I want Bea to be protective of Allister too, Leon would ask where the Ghost Gym Leader is, and Bea would just tell him he's at home, he may be Gym Leader, but he's still a child. Leon insists that next time Allister joins their meeting, he doesn't care if he's a child, he's a Gym Leader, it's still his responsibility.
Idk if the others would be that paranoid, I wanna say that maybe Steven kinda is, but he believes Wallace so much when he says that there's smth in Diantha that can still be saved, and Steven isn't one for giving up on his friends, especially since that friend also helped him out at one point and gave him Metagross' mega stone. But the two did became a bit more cautious, in case that uproar would encourage more fights and an actual war
Idt they'd stay out of the public, especially now since there are actually people on Diantha's side of the argument, justifying her actions too. I wanna say that the champions who were loyal to her were helping them justify those actions too, and told them that Diantha could still be saved, that maybe they should also help each other out on purging all the evil of their world
And just cbdmnd man idk I really don't think Hau would attack, neither would Iris, since the entirety of the Unova League is kinda like her family. Geeta I believe would just threaten, but y'know she does care abt her league, and her voice is too weak and too tired to be considered as an actual threat. Lance tho? Lance will kill. Like this mfer had his Dragonite Hyper Beam someone, and he will do it again, no matter who's at the receiving end.
Can you imagine the parallels between Lance/Clair and Diantha/Augustine tho😭
Lance is there glaring at Clair, his Dragonite right beside him, and Clair glares back, her own Kingdra preparing to battle.

"So, it's okay for you to hurt others and none of us can ever question it?"

But y'know, idt Lance would attack Clair, more like get pissed at her more and threaten her to retire her of her E4 duties (since Clair is one of Lance's E4 in my hcs, and Silver's the one in charge of Blackthorn's Gym) and he'd take her pokemon away. But Clair thinks that's all a bluff, and just left to head back to Blackthorn. The other members of the league do follow Lance, Clair just kept quiet now, if Lance won't listen to her then so be it, whatever happens will happen, and she's just gonna accept and watch that shit show go down. Will she join a side? Perhaps, maybe Diantha would convince her to join Lance, or maybe... Clair would see that Lance is right, and Diantha's cause was right too, that it really would be better to rid the world of all things evil. It would be nice, recreating a world, reliving her life, but this time around no one would be there to tell her everyday just how much of a disappointment she is
As for the family members,,, Drayden and Hala did think abt the kids being controlled by Diantha, Hala believes it. Hala believes that it's bc of Diantha Hau is acting strange, the boy would always say how he'd like to be in Kalos w her. Hala's not sure why, but even back then he didn't trust Diantha that much, or maybe that was his own envy over the fact that she could somehow make Hau happy, more than he ever could. Drayden doubts it a bit bc he had met Diantha before, and the Kalos Champion was so nice and kind and so caring to Iris. And even from the stories Iris tells him, she could ask for anything she ever wanted, and Dia would be happy to give it to her, Diantha even gave her a Goomy egg, since she knows how much Iris loves Dragons. So for Drayden it was,,, something,,, he does think maybe Diantha's just controlling the kids, but he also thinks that Gardevoir's or maybe even Yveltal's influence made Diantha like that
Geeta's league fully fucking believes Diantha controls her. They already know just how loyal Geeta is to Diantha, she wouldn't even question her no matter what, and that's one of the downsides of their own Champion. And maybe they think it's their fault too, Diantha showed Geeta kindness when they were still young, until now, accepted her despite how eccentric she was, despite the fact Geeta can't feel anything that much, and maybe if the Paldea League did just that too, maybe Geeta wouldn't have been easily manipulated.
Lance tho? His own League knows how hard he can get, he's always driven by his own beliefs and conviction, they don't think it's Diantha's influence, rather they believe that Lance finally snapped or maybe he thinks this is a mission he should finish, and Arceus above knows how fucked up he can get just to finish a mission he had set for himself. That fight w Rocket was actually really bloody, the news just won't tell you that. Some do believe Diantha had some sort of influence on him, but that was overridden considering that Lance was already brutal when it comes to criminals or just anyone who goes against him, even before he met Diantha.

Alright I know we were just talking about a brand new AU but my mind immediately went to another AU idea, just cause the AU was about being transported to a new world
What if the Champions all got transported to versions of their world where the Villain Team won?
Cause like, I imagine some of the worlds having rebellions against those Villain Teams, like Unova, Kalos, Hoenn, Kanto, and Johto. Pretty much the regions where they aren’t all dead like Sinnoh and potentially Galar and Alola/ain’t rebelling against an actual evil team like Paldea
But like I also what to maximize the potential angst and have people like Iris, Diantha, and Lance be dead in those alternative universes but still have family/friends who are alive
Cause imagine seeing your daughter die in a fight or smth years ago and now she just suddenly appeared all confused about what’s happening. Drasna was probably weary at first but after realizing it’s not a trick she  immediately pulled Dia close and comforted her, trying (and failing) not to cry. She can ask questions later about how she’s here and not six feet under where she was buried
And like Clair probably cried so fucking much when she realized Lance was back, even if it wasn’t their Lance. She’s just happy her cousin parental figure is back. And compared to Dia and Drasna it had Lance comforting Clair about how he’s okay and such. Ough Silver probably cried just as hard but also tried to hide it
OUGH what if Iris died young? Like she became Champion at 12 so what if Neo Plasma Ghetsis killed her at 13-15?? And like I’m taking inspiration from a fic I read but imagine she got killed on live tv? Either hanged or shot. Like she finally got captured by Neo Plasma and was executed on live tv to show Team Plasmas power. Cause if they can kill the Champion and her Pokémon then they could kill anyone
Like these mfs crucified the gym leaders in front of N’s castle in the manga, I think they’d be fine with murdering a teenager on tv for everyone in the world to see the power they had
But the direction I was going was that she died young, and people like Drayden wished they could’ve seen her grow up like she was supposed to. Seen the kind of person she ended up being. But now Iris, fresh in her twenties, suddenly appears where the Unovan rebellion is. When she’s been dead for years. But ough yeah after the initial shock it’s just Drayden holding Iris close and telling her how big she’s grown and that he’s so proud of her. Something he wishes he could still do. Ough your honour that’s his granddaughter
Fuck imagine when the news spread, the Unova kids are gonna be there right away to see Iris again. Gon be a shit ton of crying and yelling about the fact an Iris from another world got sent here, a world where she and the rest of the League won
I honestly don’t know much about the Kalos, Kanto, and Johto stories so idk what change happened for the Leagues to lose, but for Unova ig it changed when Nate/Rosa died to Kyurem during the Ghetsis battle
Also idk if this makes much sense to you and I tried to word it clearly but it’s like 2:40am when I finished this and just wanted to write down my thoughts before I go to sleep

And ough Lance and his fam too cjdmdbdj man Clair would not let go of him anymore bet hahaha like homegirl saw her cousin, who's basically her brother at this point and parental figure, die before her eyes and now he's here again and she's not gonna let him go, not anymore, she's not gonna let him die again and just cbmdnd ough Lance pulling Clair close to him, rubbing circles on her back, telling her that "I'm here, I'm here, it's okay.. I'm not going anywhere, I promise." And Clair just cried harder cause that's what Lance always tells her back then when she's feeling down, and it's been years yknow, and suddenly she hears him saying that again fucking broke her
Silver's there trying real ass hard not to cry, but then Lance looks at him, worried as he opened his arms, and Silver rushed and crashed on them, holding both them close, still trying to hold in his tears. But ough cbxnxb Lance just kisses the top of his head, telling him that it's okay to cry, it's okay, "I'm here now, it's okay.."
Then Dia and Drasna pls your honour I'm being plagued by thoughts abt them in the toh au now this and just cbmdnd😭😭
Man Drasna's also not letting Dia go hahah and like yknow, Drasna's just fucking vibing bc her daughter is back, she's back and alive and well and not a single scratch on her and she's just so happy to see her again bcmdnd imagine Drasna cupping Dia's cheeks, her hands were trembling, voice wracked w tears, as she gently bumped their foreheads together, smth she always did w her kids when they were younger, and she's there softly caressing Dia's cheeks, whispering mostly to herself, "oh, my dear girl.. my darling Diantha.. you're back home.. you're finally back home to me.."
And Dia could only nod, her own tears falling down her face, hands on Drasna's wrist, running her thumbs along Drasna's wrist trying to calm her down, her own voice wavered, "I'm home.."

But like, they want to yknow, it's the family the longed for for so many years, and finally they have it, but they have to keep things professional
But like, despite that, they try to be mundane. Like how a family would be. They'd often go out just the three of them, Lance and Diantha buying whatever it is that Iris wanted, spoiling her rotten, giving her gifts and all the affection and attention she ever wanted.

Imagine Lance and Iris flying across Johto, Lance said he just needed some help patrolling the region before the meeting starts, but it's really just him wanting to spend time w his daughter. Like, at first it was serious yknow, and then Lance and Dragonite flies past them, w Lance smirking at Iris all "keep up now!" Laughing at Iris as she took a sec to finally figure out what's going on, and just jcmxjd
The two of them just having this lil race up in the sky, doing stunts and tricks w Dragonite and Hydreigon, and Iris was doing so well ofc, smirking at Lance now all "keep up, old man!" Lance huffed at the name, but shook his head smiling at the sight of Iris being happy. And it's so soft your honour cbdmdn
Imagine Diantha teaching Iris how to play chess tho, telling her all the strategies she knows, all the times she joined chess tournaments, and the time she wanted to make a club for it. Iris listening to Diantha's stories while playing tho, and then Dia tells her how chess is like a pkmn battle. Oughh imagine Iris finally realizing why Dia was strong tho, not bc of her raw strength, but her strategies. And Iris wanted to know more.
Diantha telling Iris that she lets others go first so she can think of a counter attack, and her teaching Iris abt the advantage of letting people attack first. Teaching her how to make quick strategies during battle, and how to turn the tides in her favour. And yknow maybe through it all, Iris ended up liking chess, she always looked forward playing w Diantha, showing off her own strategies. Of all the Champions, Iris was the first one to ever beat Diantha in chess
Imagine the three of them just being together after the meetings tho, like at Unova imagine Iris showing them around, telling them abt her favourite spots to hang out w friends, and during the night, before Iris has to get back home to Opelucid, they'd always be at the Gym's rooftop or smth stargazing, w Iris pointing out each constellation she sees and telling them abt their stories and legends. And ofc, Lance and Diantha listens to every word, it's nice to hear and see their daughter be so passionate abt smth she loves, and it was nice to see her interests outside of battling.
Lance and Dia asking her more abt it tho, more abt the legends within each constellation, and she rambled on and on until she got tired, until she fell asleep. Lance had to carry her back home during those nights, and they'd tuck her in, bidding her goodnight even tho she's already asleep. But,, it was nice yknow, it really was the sense of normalcy all three of them wanted, and it could've been so so perfect for them
