I swear to the Primes that c!Dream apologists are ridiculous. I literally found one saying that c!Tommy deserved worse and that he was the villain, c!Dream was actually the hero, etc, etc. Like were we all watching the same thing or what? Looking at that made me feel like we definitely weren’t. It’s honestly ridiculous at this point. C!Dream was obsessed and it’s clear to everyone but his apologists. I just don’t get it.

They really are, I even sometimes find it hard to figure out whether their takes are infuriating or hilarious because they look like they’re not being serious at all, except they are. Bruhhh, that take sounds like something c!Dream himself would say lmao :) c!Tommy is literally just a kid? Kids are supposed to act like kids, what are they even on??? c!Dream apologists really should realise that their “clearly mentally stable and Good™” meow meow saw a teenager defy him and be a little loud, and decided that his number one goal is to make his life a living hell.

You got me it was absolutely going to be Tommy lmaooo :) :) :)

That being said I don't really have any clear memories of anyone else, and after we became immortal there literally was no one else except for Tommy :) There was Punz but I don't think we ever got very close because of my whole "attachments are a weakness Tommy doesn't count tho" thing, and after the prison when I really started falling into my god complex I mostly saw him as My loyal sheepdog, helping Me keep an eye on all of the mindless sheep of My server :) I think we were friends (obviously I trusted them with my life during revival experiments and there must have been a reason for that) but it was very one sided? And I'm pretty sure they ended up betraying me by helping set up a rescue for Tommy after I kidnapped mercifully took him in :) :) :) Idk I would love to remember more of whatever tf was going on there lmao :)

And there was also George and Sapnap- to answer the question, it was probably them lol. I don't remember much about them either except that George was a mooshroom hybrid and I'm pretty sure they found me and took me in before the server? Yk those labinnit hcs where Tommy is an escaped lab creation and like, Wilbur or SBI finds him living wild in the woods and takes him in? I think it was something like that and also something the two of us had in common hehe :) That would make them the closest thing to family that I ever had though, not counting Tommy bc he was forced lmaooo :) :) :)

I’m gonna make a post about this later but I like to think that c!Tommy used to love the rain during the L’Manberg arc and sometimes even during the Pogtopia arc. However after exile, he does anything he can to ignore it because of all the feelings it brings up, the feelings of guilt, regret, sadness, the overall feeling of missing his friends, it just drags all those feelings he's tried so hard to ignore back to the surface like its a new wound all over again. Anyway c!Tommy day!!!

That's a really interesting hc and I can absolutely see that :) I imagine that the first thing c!Tommy imagines whenever he sees the rain after exile is him playing with c!Dream's trident during the beach party. Technically, it's a comforting memory because at least he wasn't completely alone, but it still feels Wrong, since it's a constant reminder of the day when he became 100% sure that no one cared about him... It also definitely reminds him of harsh punishments on rainy days, he can even almost feel the phantom pain :)

Ive rambled on before about c!Tommy seeing c!Dream as an older brother figure but it is soooo important to me because it makes everything hit so much harder. Somebody he trusted and how that trust was betrayed and and it's just so good. I don't tend to go into full lore infodump on here but if you want to here about my thoughts on stuff, I'd be happy to share. Anyway, c!Tommy looking up to c!Dream as somebody he can be like and getting that feeling back in a twisted sort of way during exile and how fucked up c!Dream would get upon finding that out. Anyway, I'm normal about c!Prime, promise

GRRRR YESSS, c!Tommy seeing c!Dream as an older brother figure is very important to me too! It makes literally any c!Prime interaction hit so much harder because of how much it contrasts with the boy's initial attitude towards him. I mean, isn't it unbelievable that their lighthearted wars and arguments have led to c!Dream stalking, isolating, abusing, and willing to torment c!Tommy eternally?

Not to mention that because c!Tommy looked up to c!Dream, it makes sense why he was willing to forgive him time and time again- at least, until Doomsday and his death in the prison. He must've been afraid of being mistaken and praising the wrong person for so long...

Also, I imagine that at first, c!Dream was perfectly aware of c!Tommy's attitude towards him, and he genuinely appreciated it. However, soon enough, he started seeing it as proof that the boy belonged to him, and him alone :) :) :)

Stemms, sometimes I like thinking about how c!Dream would interact with c!Tommy during exile if he found out that Tommy used to look up to him as another older brother figure. (Personal headcanon from my kin tl) How badly do you think Dream would want that back, for one reason or another, if he ever did because I’m going insane thinking about it!

Considering c!Tommy canonically looked up to c!Dream, I love the idea of taking it a little further and making him consider the man his older brother figure.

Because c!Dream has always been obsessed with the idea of filling in c!Wilbur's role in general, if he were to find out about the positive shift in c!Tommy's opinion on him, he'd be even more determined to isolate, and mould c!Tommy into His perfect little brother who'd never want to return to c!Wilbur :) :) :) However, I imagine that he'd desperately want it back upon learning about the negative change, no matter the cost.

Perhaps, c!Dream's behaviour in exile was much more infantilising, controlling, and possessive than in canon since he was certainly paranoid about losing c!Tommy to c!Wilbur, and desperately needed to keep him all to himself.

c!Dream would often use infantilising petnames and intonation while addressing the boy, insist on helping him with the simplest of tasks and punish him if he refused or got upset/irritated at his borderline infantilisation (but knowing just how much of a hypocrite c!Dream is, he'd still make c!Tommy do the harder ones without helping him, and punish him if he didn't succeed).

c!Dream would often subconsciously repeat c!Wilbur's ways of showing affection, which would always lead to c!Tommy seeing his other older brother in c!Dream, but not Him- dooming the man to always be nothing but c!Wilbur's cheap copy in consequence. I imagine that it'd happen because c!Dream got the idea of becoming c!Tommy's brother, and began mimicking c!Wilbur's behaviour before figuring out that the boy in fact saw him as his older brother figure. Sometimes, as c!Dream would be in the middle of caressing c!Tommy's hair, hugging, or holding his hand as they walked, the realisation would hit the man, making him suddenly deepen his hold of c!Tommy, turning a gentle gesture possessive :) :) :)

Stemms, I wanted to chat. Is it bad that I miss my Dream? Like, he did super messed shit to me and took all of my canon lives and even took one during exile but I still miss him. I know a lot of it was a temper tantrum that he was throwing because he wasn't a deity anymore but there is also a part of me that feels like I shouldn't miss him and want him around. Anyway, I guess what I'm getting at is, do you miss your Dream? Is it normal?

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear you miss your Dream despite all the terrible things he did to you, I know exactly how confusing it can be... But it makes a lot of sense because of the trauma bonding, so there's no shame in that!

I desperately miss my Dream, especially in the last few days. I know that he didn't treat me right during exile and my time as his Protégé, he was quite literally torturing me, yet I still miss him more than anything in this world.

I know that he wasn't supposed to keep me in a constant fear of frustrating him, kick me awake and possibly break my bones if I fell asleep while waiting for him in exile, give me healing and slowness potions during punishments in exile to be able to hurt me for longer without killing me, shattering my fingers one by one during the revival experiments, and the list can go on...

But even if I associate his name with the looming threat of Nightmare gripped tightly in his hand, his name also feels like home to me. When everyone abandoned me in exile and didn't even bother showing up to my party, he was there to comfort me. He comforted me after each punishment, and the softness of his touch almost made me believe that I did deserve it. We've also had plenty of soft moments, such as listening to Wait together (it was Our disc), or me getting a habit of falling asleep quickly in his arms.

I miss my Dream so much that my partner reminds me to go to bed at a reasonable time as c!Dream, and we rp the exile bonding exercise every morning. Like, I do realise it was Traumatic™ but it's also an activity that feels Very Familiar, so it's comforting in a way.

Sometimes I like to think about how in the beginning of L’Manberg, when c!Wilbur was president and all of that. Whenever c!Tommy was super stressed out, c!Tubbo hummed the melody of his discs for him. Cat and Mellohi, it never failed to calm him down, relaxing him. It soothed him being something he was able to ground himself with.

Fast forward to exile when c!Tommy’s stuck alone with c!Dream, stressed and depressed. He hums the melodies like c!Tubbo used to but it never was the same. After c!Tommy became more conditioned to what c!Dream wanted him to be, c!Dream gave him his own music disc. (I personally like to think they went with Wait or something along those lines, great disc btw) So whenever c!Tommy was stressed, c!Dream was hum it for him, maybe after a brutal punishment or something like that.

On the other hand, whenever c!Tommy tried to hum the melodies of Cat and Mellohi, c!Dream would punish him severely, trying to get it into his head that all he needed was c!Dream and his gifts and friendship. He didn’t need to think about his past.

Hehehe, I love it so much! The idea of c!Tubbo humming the melody of Cat and Mellohi for c!Tommy is very sweet, and I personally have a similar hc, except c!Tubbo is replaced with c!Wilbur.

GRGRGRGRRRR YESSSS, c!Dream humming the melody of Wait for c!Tommy hits so hard because it basically shows that c!Dream replaced c!Tommy’s friends, family, everything he cared about, and home :) :) :) Also, I have an identical hc lmao, I’m pretty sure I even briefly mentioned it in my fic :) I’m obsessed with the idea of Wait becoming Their™ disc :)

Ohohoh, c!Dream punishing c!Tommy for humming the melodies of Cat and Mellohi is painful in the best way :) After all, if he already has an amazing friend like c!Dream, why would he need anyone else? Didn’t they abandon him? :) :) :)
