Everyone has access to research so why are you making things up
Well you’re not doing a very good job at it because those jobs are real and they do exist. They’re Creative Directors outside of designing. These are Creative Director jobs in the realm of Styling.
Exhibit A: Zendaya’s VOGUE Hong Kong spread, Law styled the shoot but he working was under the Creative Direction of Patti Wilson.
Exhibit B: NARS Campaign, Patti Wilson styled the the ad campaign and commercial under the Art Direction of Fabien Baron.
Exhibit C: A Commercial campaign, Carlos Nazario styled the shoot under the Creative Direction of David Lane.
Exhibit D: Fashion Editorial Stella Greenspan styling a Fashion Editorial under the Creative Direction of Dara Allen.
Y’all only hear about Creative Director jobs in terms of Designers at Fashion Houses. They exist beyond Fashion Houses, they are real jobs and have already existed in fashion long before Law Roach even got into the business. That is not a made up title, it’s very a real job.
