the funny thing about last night is mere hours before the episode i had been thinking "i seriously can't wait until the bells fight otohan again, this time they'll totally be able to take her. they're so much stronger now!" boy would the egg have been on my face if i'd actually made that post
#critical role#cr spoilers#IN FAIRNESS i do believe if they had all been rested and prepared and it was a situation where they could plan and weren't ambushed#i think they would've fared much better; not perfect; still a huge challenge; some probably would've gone down but doable#more akin to the vm dragon fights; those were TOUGH and even had deaths but still manageable#most of the struggles in this fight came down to coming in with low-ish health and spent resources#it was like m9 vs the tombtakers; the tt's HANDED them their asses until m9 were able to regroup and plan

While thinking about a potential VM vs M9 Battle Royale sequel, it suddenly occurred to me just how unbelievably horny Veth would be about Grog. Fjord might not be in this one, but by god would Veth be bothering another Travis character
