Joe Walsh's Jericho
Jericho," a custom Fender Statocaster belonging to Joe Walsh
Heavily customized fender stratocaster modified by Walsh with parts from the 1950s and 1960s, body probably ash, one-piece maple neck, strings through the body, with rear plate removed for easy access for changing strings, 3 single coil pick-ups, 5-way switch with single volume and two tone controls. The guitar body is elaborately custom painted with a sort of pre-historic jungle motif lorded over by a pterodactyl complete with glass eye. With 1950s tweed case painted over black, case top stenciled "Jericho" in white, and bearing label indicating "JW-014 / Fender Strat / serial no 13099 / Band / Barnstorm." The serial number on the case indicates at one point the guitar was a 1957.

TBT to January, just after I visited my pal @the_damo_experience to trade him for this beautiful 1998 #Fender#CustomShop '60 Custom #Telecaster, and he sent along his tweed 1957 #FenderChamp for servicing with our mutual amp tech @marshalllespaulfan. That's a 1964 6G6 tuxedo #Bassman in the back.

I’ve had this guitar for about ten years in its present configuration and I’ve just recently noticed its plastic parts are old enough now that they’re all starting to age differently
The pickguard and pickup covers used to be the same shade of white
