Jericho," a custom Fender Statocaster belonging to Joe Walsh
Heavily customized fender stratocaster modified by Walsh with parts from the 1950s and 1960s, body probably ash, one-piece maple neck, strings through the body, with rear plate removed for easy access for changing strings, 3 single coil pick-ups, 5-way switch with single volume and two tone controls. The guitar body is elaborately custom painted with a sort of pre-historic jungle motif lorded over by a pterodactyl complete with glass eye. With 1950s tweed case painted over black, case top stenciled "Jericho" in white, and bearing label indicating "JW-014 / Fender Strat / serial no 13099 / Band / Barnstorm." The serial number on the case indicates at one point the guitar was a 1957.
Another partscaster assembly for a customer. MJT body in candy apple red metallic to black burst, hardtail vintage spacing callaham bridge, Lace Sensor pickups with ‘blend’ wiring and a genuine Fender USA replacement neck with locking Gotoh tuners
