bob floyd had always been fascinated by science. it was the art of discovery and learning. he loved all branches of the subject, but chemistry and physics were his favorites one was based in learning how things worked in the world. how things reacted to each other, with each other. and what they were composed of and how to break them down. the other was based on learning how the world worked on things. how those things reacted to the circumstances and conditions around them. biology snuck in at third place later when he got to ninth grade. and the human body was such a complex yet simple thing. a near perfect combination of his two loves. and then later his sophomore year of high school he went on a field trip to the local crime lab when his science class was doing a unit on DNA. and that is when he found his true love. forensics

Pursuing a hobby while off duty, Lieutenant Floyd was exploring his archeological finds in Egypt before robbers seized him and stole the valuables he found. During the incident, Bob was fatally injured, barely making it inside a temple only to bleed out at the foot of statue. The statue belonging to Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon. He offered Bob a second chance, on one condition... Bob must be his Avatar and fight the evils he can not. And little do either know... Bob has a few extra tricks up his sleeve.

eddie wasn't always like this, a beast hiding under the visage of healer. his time in the army changed him, in more ways than one. despite being just a medic, eddie was given the chance to be a part of a program. a super soldier program that he would be paid for, no matter the outcome. if it went well he recieved a decent paycheck, if he died, or worse, a hefty compensation was sent to his family. well, he survived, and it had worked. but now his animalistic instincts were harder to control, his body would react to his emotions -- becoming a slave to his flight or fight response. but now that he was out of the military, trying to fit back into civilian and life working for LAFD, he had to learn how to keep it stable. keep the beast tame when he thought back to that awful helicopter crash. his son is a huge help, one of his tethers to his humanity. and now he's found you, the moon in his sky, the one that isn't scared of the monster that man created.

Chaotic Puppy Energy

evan buckley, better known as buck to his friends, was not your typical firefighter. he was pureblood werewolf. that meant that he was born with the gene and could control when he shifted into his wolf form. so he wasn't nearly as cynical about or wary of himself like those that were turned. people came to realize that he channeled the more puppy-like side of being a canine. he was energetic and playful, both in and out of wolf form -- though, when needed, he was the protector. but he prefered the cuddles and the petting and the playing. his career is saving lives and completely based on his need for adrenaline in his life, he wanted to be able to escape the every once in awhile. so, after exciting days or days where everything just seemed to go wrong... he shift and curl up with you until he was ready to talk and then he'd shift back and talk to you then on somedays he was just a complete ball of energy and you'd have to go to the park so he wouldn't knock everything of the table, or go on a hike -- buck loves hikes he loves you the most though 😉

She-Hulk: Naval Aviator

i'm six foot seven and bright green. people are gonna stare no matter how i dress!

natasha had never expected her career as naval aviator to change her this much. granted, she never expected her backseater to be half angry green rage monster either. bob's not technically a superhero, given the fact that he's in the backseat of a jet. but he does have the 'green gene' as he referred to it. and when he and nat had gotten into a crash, at some point his blood had gotten into one of her wounds and altered her dna. dealing with the aftermath of that was fun... so, now, not only is she a successful woman in a male dominated field and has to deal with the negative side of that -- she is now superhuman and has to learn how to keep her rage in check.

Bucking Angels

evan 'buck' buckley, who affectionately got his name from the rodeo event that he is most famous for -- the bucking bronco, was well know as a playboy. buckle bunnies were drawn to the rider, wanting to take a dip in the swimming pools that are his wild blue eyes. but he actually didn't pursue as many of the buckle bunnies as everyone assumed, sure he took one girl home every once in a while but as he got a little older he stopped with the one night stands, wanting to actually begin a relationship with someone. a few people caught his eye here and there, but nothing that ever ended up lasting and he was getting discouraged. but then, one night at a rodeo he spotted you across the way leaning against your ambulance and his breath was just ripped from his lungs. the feeling similar to when he got on his horse in the chute. despite the unflattering stadium lights muting any natural glow you radiated, you were stunning to him. and he knew that he had to get your attention. whatever it took.

Jake opened and closed his mouth, trying to find the words he had practiced in the mirror for weeks. He chuckled, tears lining his own eyes, “Damn it, I had this whole speech planned- and it’s all just-” He whistled, “Gone.” She giggled a little bit, shuffling a little closer. “Don’t think, just do, Uncle Jake,” Leia said from her position in her mother’s lap, making them all laugh. “Thanks V.” He took a deep breath. “I don’t know where to start, so I’m just gonna talk until something sticks-” “You’re good at that,” Sarah quipped, giggling as she used her shirt to dab at her eyes. He chuckled, and pointed at her, “That, that right there, God I love that. You- God, Sarah you just- you put up with me. There I said it. I know that I’m hard to deal with, sometimes I bring Hangman home with me and it can be a lot. But you take it in stride and you put me in my place when I need it. I love walking in and smelling fresh baked goods, or hearing you yell at the game on the TV. I want to come home to that and so much more for as long as you’ll have me. Will you marry me?” Within seconds of the words leaving his lips, they were met by hers. Mumbling ‘yes’s as tears mixed together and peppermint chapstick was smeared. His hand blindly pulled the ring out of the box and found her hand, sliding the ring on her finger.

Jake sat and crossed his legs, making grabby hands at the box. “You talked this up, so it better be good.” Sarah laughed and leaned on her arm, “Just open it.” She glanced over and made eye contact with Alyssa, sending her a wink and watching her eyes widened. “What do we have here?” Jake drawled, bringing their attention back to him. He pulled out a picture frame. “Looks like an award.” “Read it, Bagman,” Bradley said, eager to know what it said and what that wink was about. Jake laughed as his eyes scanned the words. “Congratulations! You, Jake Thomas Seresin, have been granted a promotion?” He looked up at Sarah, confusion flickering in his eyes. “Keep going Sweetheart.” He licked his lips and kept reading, “You are being promoted from Lieutenant to…” His voice trailed off as his eyes widened, a hand coming up to cover his mouth. “Are you serious?” Sarah nodded and smiled, eyes watering a little. Jake didn’t waste a second dropping the frame onto the carpet and pulling Sarah into his lap and letting happy tears fall onto her shoulder. “Thank you…” “What does it say?” Rooster asked in a whisper, slightly confused by the reaction. Alyssa leaned forward and gently picked up the frame, holding it as Bradley read it. He mumbled the beginning, nodding along as he read. “You’re being promoted from Lieutenant to… Dad.”

You and Jake hosting the Dagger Holiday party might have been the smartest thing you've done. Mainly because your husband couldn't keep his hands off of you. You weren't wearing anything to tease him at all, but you just looked so good and were having so much fun - Jake couldn't help but just want you. So the moment the last pilot was out the door, Jake didn't even bother taking you upstairs. He needed his wife, and where more romantic than in front of the fireplace.

You and your children hadn't expected Ron to be home for Christmas. He wasn't due to come home until after the new year. So, imagine the surprise of you hearing your twin sons and your daughter squealing "Daddy!" while playing outside. You immediately picked up your 18 month old boy from his playpen and waddled as fast as you could with your 7 month belly to get outside and see if it was true. That your husband was home. And sure enough, there he was. In his tall, goofy glory, still in his flight suit, with your children climbing him like a jungle gym. Was he home from being in the middle of the ocean early? Yeah, yeah he was. But you weren't going to question it. You were just happy to have your Ronnie back.

i'm dreaming of a white christmas

One thing Bradley missed from his childhood was the wonder of Christmas. The innocence of waking up to seeing the cookies gone and the milk drank. Even after the death of his father, Carole did her best to make sure Bradley had the Christmas he deserved. One thing she did was tell him that when snow fell in the winter, is was Goose letting them know he was with them and was sending it so Bradley could still build a snowman with his daddy. Of course, as Bradley got older he grew out of Santa and he knew that snow wasn't really sent from his dad. But he still liked to think it was. And when he finally mustered up the courage to go back to Virginia, he made sure to visit his parents grave. It had been too long and he wanted you to meet them - even if it was just talking to air. So, on Christmas Day, you and Bradley left the AirBnB and went to the cemetary. As you sat and talked, having a "Christmas picnic" with his parents, snow started to flurry down. You couldn't help but giggle, looking up at the sky with a big grin. But Bradley was taking you in, watching the snow collect on your hair as you smiled. He finally followed your lead and looked at the sky, muttering softly to himself. "Hey Dad, hey Mom..."

Ranch Fever

sometimes the legacy starts with you

after eddie got back from Afganistan, still healing from the helicopter crash, he decided to try and figure what he wanted to do with his life now that he was back stateside. and it is a... struggle shannon had asked him to move to california, get out of El Paso in exchange for LA. and she wanted to be by her mother's side as she fought cancer, again. but eddie wasn't ready, he was still recovering mentally from what had happened to him overseas -- making big decisions like that wasn't easy. so, she made it easy, she left. shannon packed her bags, wrote a note, and left. leaving eddie alone to raise christopher all by himself, though he felt it was simply payback for him leaving her alone when is took up that second tour. it took him two years, a blowout fight with his parents, and his son telling him that he missed him for eddie to decide what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. he wanted to start a ranch. it was something he'd be sitting on since he was a teenager. and when he was little, he thought cowboys were so cool. so he dug into his research, saving every penny he could from his three jobs and even dropping one to pick up a job as a ranch hand for a small ranch just outside of town. well, it was just his luck that the owner had no one to leave his land to. his son be a police officer in Dallas and his two daughters going into professions far from ranch owning. so he taught eddie everything he needed to know before retiring and selling eddie the land at a fraction of the deserving price. then he moved to Galveston with his wife, always being near the phone in case eddie needed something. and that was all he needed, all eddie needed to start a legacy.
