Top 3 fantasy novels:

Small Gods by Terry Pratchett! Its such a fun little adventure very isolated from the rest of the discworld and its so heartwarming... the entire point is that heaven and hell are other people!!! The final scene with Death makes me sob :')

Fool's Errand by Robin Hobb, i think its my favorite RotE book so far... the gay romcom of it all ugh fitz and the fool are so in love in that book it makes me sick (affectionate)

Baptism of Fire by Sapkowski..... you know what i mean... book of all time.....

I need to read more standalone fantasy lol its hard to pick individual faves!!

Godddd this is so hard!! I read mistborn when i was 12 and i think Vin was very influential for me, shes a character that i resonate deeply with and shes probably the best sanderson female character (low bar but still lmao) BUT god i havent stopped thinking about fitz for the past 3 years he has possessed me!!! I love him so much and hes the most character ever like everything that someone can go through he has gone through jshsnzksnsks he contains the entire human experience <3

Favourite colour: I have a lot of emotions about colour okay, I’m pretty sure I could justify every single colour I can think of as my favourite for something. However, if I’m being made to choose, very light hues of silvery Blue.

Lipstick or chapstick: I’ve only worn lipstick once or twice in my life, but I felt fabulous. However, by sheer overwhelming margin of usage it’s gotta be chapstic.

Last song listened to: Sound of Muzak by Porcupine Tree (I stumbled upon them again this week and I can’t stop)

Last movie watched: All the way through - The Babadook Stopped halfway - I can’t even remember a time I’ve stopped in the midst of a film tbh In cinema - Bladerunner 2049

Top 3 TV shows: Futurama (I just love it dammit), Marco Polo and Human Planet (which I was only just introduced to the other day but it’s some quality stuff)

Top 3 characters: This is even harder than the colours question. However, Vin (From Mistborn), Parmenion as in The Lion of Macedon, and CAPTAIN CARROT IRONFOUNDERSSON HOW DID I ALMOST FORGET CARROT Honourable mention for literally every other character in the Discworld Also if I could list out ten of my friend’s OCs I would bc damn

Top 3 bands / artists: I’m a bit all over the place but I always keep coming back to Led Zeppelin, Tool and Muse, in a monthly cycle where I shift through intermittent bands and artists from one mood to the next. Books I’m reading: I get home. I take a seat in my luxury ergonomic height-adjusting desk chair and I open up my high-resolution Dell gaming laptop that I use for my work and recreation and read through my emails from University, before immediately retreating to my bed without changing. I set my lamp to 65% brightness intensity on a warm orange setting to compliment the fading light from outside as the sun sets. I pick up my copy of American Psycho. I begin to read. When I look up, three hours have passed. I wonder if I left the oven on. I decide I didn’t. I continue reading until I sleep. I dream about something dumb and when I wake up I rant at @isla1975 about it. Podcasts I’m listening to: Welcome to Nightvale as of late, and a few others, but I don’t listen as often as I like to actually. I do have documentaries and occasionally panel shows on in the background while I do stuff which tends to be my substitute.

Top 3 Characters: Hm, this one is difficult, there are just too many! How can anyone make me decide??? Maybe Vin from the Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson (because I LOVE her character development), Death from the Discworld Series by Terry Pratchett and … and ……….. maybe Atticus Finch from To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee? Such a difficult decision!

(Honorable mentions: Loki (MCU), Kvothe, Auri, Bast (Kingkiller Chronicles), practically every single character Brandon Sanderson ever created, Team Free Will from Supernatural, too many from the Malazan Book of the Fallen Series by Steven Erikson, Arya Stark from Game of Thrones… too many x’D I’m sorry XD)

Top 3 Bands: Florence & the Machine, Linkin Park and probably Imagine Dragons :) I don’t really listen so much to bands, more to single tracks that I like from “random” artists, and scores and soundtracks from movies and games^^ So it’s less bands ^^ On Tuesday I visited a James Newton Howard Concert and it was AMAZING :’) I just love his scores so much! And from what I saw he’s a really nice and amazing person, too :)

Books I’m Currently Reading: Moby-Duck – the True Story of 28,800 Bath Toys Lost at Sea and of the Beachcombers, Oceanographers, Environmentalists, and Fools, including the Author, Who Went in Search of Them by Donavan Hohn. Yes, that’s the title XD Something else for a change… It’s very well-written, fascinating, disturbing and definitely not fantasy :) Also listening to Words of Radiance (Stormlight Archives, Brandon Sanderson) again to prepare for Oathbringer! I’m looking forward to that SO MUCH!

guys i'm over 70% of the way through Night Watch right now and.....god I don't even know what to say. i still have 1/4 of the book left but i think my life has been changed.........they're waving the flags of Ankh-Morpork and singing the national anthem at the barricades because they are fighting for the city. they aren't rebelling against the city, they're fighting to fix it.....they're fighting for truth, justice, freedom, reasonably priced love, and a hard boiled egg..........the government is trying to name them enemies of the state but....that's just not what they are. they are The People of Ankh-Morpork, and they're rebelling against the injustice that's become ingrained in society, not against society itself...........
