Tóm lại hãy thuận theo Xoài đã. Nguyên tắc đầu tiên để có được lòng tin của một chú mèo thận trọng, là hãy thuận theo thói quen của nó.
Và rồi nếu như Xoài vẫn ngồi im, bạn có thể thử lặng im. Nghiêng đầu, nhìn Xoài và mỉm cười với em. Hoặc chả làm gì mà hãy cứ ngồi vậy, thật yên ắng. Hãy học cách trò chuyện với Xoài bằng sự im lặng yêu thích của nó.
Nguyên tắc thứ hai để có được lòng tin của một chú mèo thận trọng, chính là hãy dành thời gian để lắng nghe, học “trò chuyện” bằng ngôn ngữ của nó.
Và nếu như bạn hoàn thành giai đoạn trên, và Xoài vẫn ngồi đó không bỏ chạy, thì khả năng cao là bạn sẽ được học nguyên tắc thứ ba, đó là: trao đi một lòng bàn tay trống rỗng.
Hãy nhớ để lòng bàn tay ngửa. Thật trống rỗng và rộng mở, hãy để sát mặt đất và từ từ đưa về phía chân Xoài.

Có thể dừng lại ở đây và gãi nhè nhẹ một chút,
Nếu Xoài lim dim dễ chịu, thì đôi tay chúng ta đã được cấp “giấy thông hành” để di chuyển lên đầu, tai, và lưng em.
Điều quan trọng là luôn thận trọng và quan sát. Xem Xoài muốn điều gì. Xem em muốn lại gần hơn, hay xa ra chút.
Lòng tin là thứ chẳng thể nào gây dựng chỉ trong một phút, hay một ngày.
Lòng tin là chiếc cây luôn cần được tưới tắm, củng cố. Chỉ cần một phút lơi là, cũng có thể héo úa, dần tàn lụi.
Và Xoài sẽ để bạn chạm vào, luôn luôn.
Miễn là bạn có đủ sự thận trọng khi tiến về phía em; đủ sự thuận theo khi làm quen với thế giới thói quen của em; đủ sự kiên nhẫn lắng nghe em để nghe được thứ ngôn từ không dùng tiếng loài người; và cuối cùng là một bàn tay đủ trống rỗng, rộng mở, không dấu giếm, hướng về phía em, chầm chậm.

The “sexy” curve of the railway crossing here attracts many international visitors. From the day he was published in a foreign newspaper as a must-visit place every time he came to Hanoi, the bustling streets of the streets.
