Attempting to listen to the white vault, third times the charm right??

So the first time I listened to the two seasons they had out at the time and loved it! Then when the third season came out I decided to relisten to the whole show because why not? Ended up getting interrupted right as before the third season by a literal hurricane. I got through about half of it whilst bunkered down in a closet. I listened to a few more episodes but then as a side effect of said hurricane one of my pets died, so by then I really wasn’t in a great headspace for horror. I put it down with all the intention of picking it back up but ended up not going back to it for a while. Already on season two now though so, fingers crossed I won’t be interrupted by a natural disaster or the ever looming presence of death!

#should I have been listening to horror while crammed in a claustrophobic little closet with no lights and only the sound of falling trees #howling wind and the screeching of tin roofs tearing off of buildings for company?#yeah no probably not #it wasn’t bad at the time #it was honestly kinda nice to be jumping at fictional horror and not the real horrifying situation I was in #but now listening to this again I’m noticeably jumpier than before #so there’s probably some lingering side effects #but oh well #too late to change anything about it now :/#the white vault

King's College Chapel by Terry Hassan Via Flickr: By 1512 the shell was finished and roofed throughout its length in timber and lead. Henry VII's executors gave a further £5000 to pay for vaulting the Chapel, and by 1515 the main structure was complete. This work, and most of the glazing of the windows, was done during the reign of his son, Henry VIII, who was responsible for the screen and much of the Chapel woodwork. John Wastell, the last and perhaps most brilliant master mason who worked on King's, took charge in 1508. He is the architect of the beautiful fan vaulting – 'the noblest stone ceiling in existence' – which was built in just three years between 1512 and 1515.
