Over the last few candid appearances, we’ve seen Taylor experimenting more with the fine art of a necklace stack and I can’t help but playfully wonder if it was in part a lead up (or inspired by) the layered styling for her MTV VMAs appearance.

The ‘more is more’ approach to accessorizing here is fun to observe, as Taylor doesn’t typically pile it on this excessively for red carpets. But it does up the ‘messy glam’ factor of her gown and mussed, spilling out updo.

taylor is wearing many pieces tonight at the 2023 VMA’s, but i wanted to highlight what i found kaylory about some of them!

my first thought was that this onyx and diamond ring from van cleef and arpels is reminiscent of karlie’s amulette de cartier 😌 with the signature round shape in the same stones. in this way, it’s also giving nazar eye, imo 🙈

a tangential thought i had is that taylor is continuing to wear one of the jacquie aiche bracelets here (notice the signature smooth bar band with circles) which further strengthens the idea that the jacquie aiche pieces were personal purchases, instead of something styled for her 😌

since it is on her left hand i would assume it’s the 7 diamond kate smooth bar bracelet, which she has been wearing on her left hand. i think you can see the strand of diamonds in this picture ↓

oh oh and according to joseph one of her bracelets is from foundrae, where some of those charms have been from 🥰 from the looks of it im guessing it’s another sister hook chain, a bracelet version of the necklace she’s been wearing. i can’t tell if she added a charm to it, might just be the chain.
