Canon background info: Henry and Walter
So I thought it would be interesting to list what little info we have learned from canon about these two - and what we can infer from it! More specifically, about their family backgrounds, because they seem like pretty typical examples of the student population of Hillerska.
Okay so, let's start with the guy we know more about.
Henry: aristocratic
Oldest son of a noble family (S1E4, Society scene):
This is the very definition of an elite background; the aristocracy only makes up 2/1000 of Sweden's population.
He may have been raised in a relatively patriarchal and heteronormative environment. Only noble men can pass their rank on, and only to biological children by a wedded wife. Traditionally, the main responsibility for the survival of the house fell on the oldest son.
Statistically, Henry's family is likely to be untitled and from somewhere around Stockholm. The Swedish House of Nobility reports that there are 657 noble houses left, 480 of them untitled. Twice as many live in Stockholm and the surrounding region as the rest of the country combined.
It's also quite likely that August's comment in S3E2, on going to "a school in the city, with sossar and new-money white trash" refers to the elite schools in Stockholm rather than just any city. The fact that August originally addresses Henry could imply that Henry is indeed from the Stockholm region, but this is just speculation.
Politically right-leaning (S1E1, social studies):
Henry was likely raised liberal-conservative. In Sweden, this usually means the Moderate Party - they support things like tax cuts, the free market, economic liberalism, and civil liberties. (Note that this usually includes same-sex marriage, for example!)
Family estate (S1E1):
This isn't a farm as such, but grounds belonging to a manor house. (Or at least there will have been a manor house in the past.)
The EU subsidies mentioned by Simon are agricultural subsidies. People with big inherited estates are eligible for huge sums.
In his PRP interview, Fabian said he imagined Henry's family owning some forest. It's possible, but just his headcanon.
Dad on the Hillerska parents' council (S2E1, outside church):
This isn't a decision-making body, just an interface for cooperation and contact between the parents and school. In real life, families who have been attending for a long time are often represented on the school board too.
Dad once dated Walter's mum (S1E3, after Parents' Day):
They must've lost touch. Henry's dad recognised Walter's last name, and the dub tells us he asked if Henry knew Walter or his family. Also in the dub, Walter goes, "That explains why there was a flirty vibe!" to which Henry replies, "It was really like, like they knew each other."
Henry and Walter probably wouldn't be talking so openly if it was their dads who dated, and their dads definitely would not have flirted at Parents' Day. We see in the show how same-sex relationships are often kept quiet even today, and this would've been 20+ years ago. Also, even if Henry's dad was interested in guys, I doubt he have openly dated one for a whole year (his upbringing will have been a more conservative version of Henry's).
There's more to be said about this, but let's move on to...
Walter: business elite?
Not noble (S1E3, gossip scenes in S1E6 & S2E4, last name in S3E3):
Walter may have his mother's last name, which would not be the case if he was from a noble family. It's also possible his dad is the guy his mum dated right/soon after Henry's dad (but the focus seems to be on his mum).
If he is noble, he must have an older brother, since he's not a member of the Society.
On a more speculative note, Walter and Henry's reactions to gossip about Wille could also be significant. In S1E6, Walter eagerly gossips about the video, while Henry at least tries to act supportive when Wille returns to school. In S2E4, Henry only tells Walter about Wille/Felice and is ashamed when Vincent puts him on the spot in front of Wille, whereas Walter promptly tells everyone and is amused by the tabling. This could just be a difference in character, but it could also point to a difference in family background. The aristocracy's wealth and status is derived from their past service or allegiance to the Crown, which prompts more loyalty and support for the monarchy and royal family than, say, wealth and status of bourgeois/tradesman/business origins.
In S3E3, we briefly see Walter's IG handle, which includes his last name! It's something starting with Strömba- or Strömbä-. That's an unusual combination that only lends itself to a handful of alternatives, none of them noble-sounding. The most likely one is Strömbäck - a real, non-noble name that has about 1,100 bearers in Sweden, making it pretty rare and a good fit for a wealthy but non-noble family! [FYI: the 'ä' is pronounced as an 'e'.]
Not new money either (S1E3):
Walter's mum was part of the same social sphere as Henry's dad, possibly even went to school with him, since they dated for a year in their youth.
She could've technically been new money at the time (meaning her parents made their fortune themselves), but her son would already fall in the space between old and new. Old money means inherited wealth, sustained over multiple generations, and Walter is at least two generations removed.
Politically right-leaning; potential business elite (S1E1):
Walter's political views are similar to Henry's, but his perspective is that of a wealthy business owner (he thinks tax evaders have already contributed by creating jobs).
It's likely that there's a family company. They may still be involved in the daily business operations, but it's at least as likely that they just own shares and sit on the board. (Different from Alexander's dad, for example.)
This makes Walter's background less elite than Henry's - but the richer they are and the longer they have been rich, the smaller the gap is. At the real boarding schools, the richest kids are just below the nobles in the hierarchy, and in society at large, the non-aristocratic elite is still very much part of the elite.
I'm sure the Strömbäck family aren't meant to be Wallenberg rich, though!
...and I think that's about all we know about Walter's background so far!

walter + henry "masterpost" (canon)
season 1
1x01
they sit together at dinner(?).
before wille grabs their attention, they seem deep in conversation and HENRY GLANCES AT WALTER’S LIPS (im delulu ..but not really). this is their first canon interaction. i cannot make this shit up. i’m losing my mind.
they sit together in class.
they stick close (walter is fucking leaning on henry) at the very first party (after wille’s initiation). they’re both drinking. walter is spotted without henry for like a literal millisecond (idk where his mans went). walter and henry hang with stella and felice (at least until felice runs off to throw up lol) when wille is like,, crowdsurfing (using that term loosely) walter is not with henry mans lost him where is he.. (probably throwing up somewhere idk)
1x02
simon sits between them at lunch.
they sit together in class (on monday? the party was friday.. i assume)
math tests are handed out. they sit close and show their grades to eachother. (comparing results maybe ?)
wille mentions they take private lessons.. together ? over the weekend ? bro i cant defend them. (not that i want to)
henry joins rowing practice. they’re wearing MATCHING SHIRTS. i cannot make this shit up.
they’re both attending rowing practice still when august.. kisses simon (LMAO)
they debatably sit together at the movie night. they’re social distancing for some reason but no one is between them. henry looks over at walter (i’m delulu, he was probably looking at august) after The Jumpscare

the week after the horror movie (exact day unknown) henry sits with wille in class, but walter is in the seat literally next to him just,, with a space lol
(same week) they work out on the SAME GODDAMN MAT in p.e (either that or their mats are placed so close they don’t show a space.. idk which is gayer tbh)
they stick together during the parents day, but sit in different rows in church (..for some reason?)
after church neither of them are spotted interacting with any adult or even eachother in the background. they went ~poof~
i think you see walter entering his dorm? but it could be a different background actor honestly i don't know
for breakfast the day after: henry mentions to walter that his dad recognized his surname.

this convo confirms to me that they didn’t know eachother before hillerska.
note: the convo was very light-hearted and henry was smiling
(this has lead to theories about their parents having dated in the past, i also heard that uno, walter's actor, confirmed this but i haven't seen this for myself so i'm not sure)

they sit together while watching erik’s funeral on TV
the Society "meeting". henry is never technically explicitly shown to drink or take pills but he seems inebriated and picks up a pack of pills from the table so i'm gonna assume he did both

they’re not sitting together in class, both having 2 desks by themselves until wille joins henry. walter is in the seat directly behind him. (side note: henry is wearing the same goddamn sweater he was at the Society meeting. was it washed or does he just stink of booze in class ? LMAO)
plot explained why they aren’t sitting together !! walter was meant to do a presentation with alexander and therefore left the seat for him.
they sit together again in class. this would be the week after the class they didn’t.
henry attends another Society “emergency meeting” (alexander was caught with the drugs) (this isn't walty but idc)
henry looks stressed/conflicted after the 2nd Society emergency meeting, but walks out with wille. (probably hard for him cause he can tell something’s going on between wille and simon, but pinning it on alexander is also a shitty thing to do)
they(walty) stand together outside before the whole lucia thing starts.
walter is fiddling with something with his left hand. it doesn’t show up in the shot, but henry is right there on his left. (they were obviously having a thumb war /j)
they’re both talking with wille after the lucia thing, but they’re so caught up in their conversations they don’t even bat an eye when wille’s whole life falls apart (it's not funny but it's really fucking funny)

at breakfast sometime after the video got out. henry and walter are talking abt how wilmon sat together at the movie night and that they talked abt it after.
h “remember the movie night?”
w “yeah”
h “when they sat next to eachother”

(as if they weren’t also sitting next to eachother)
in class sometime that week (tuesday or later) they sit separate in class again. walter is gossiping (or just talking tbh idk) with some other students while henry sits alone. wille sits next to henry and henry attempts small talk with wille to cut the tension) (walty are once again only separated by the aisle lol)
they sit together in church on christmas day (or eve ? i’m not sure honestly)
they also talk together (+vincent och nils) outside church after. henry quickly noticed wilmon hugging (gay noticing gay frfr)

Subtext and Culture, Young Royals, Season 3, Episode 5
Episode 5 starts sometime after August dropped the bombshell about Erik at the end of last episode, and Wilhelm decides for some reason to visit the party palace, in order to make himself feel extra shit? I don't know what's going on here.
Blink and you miss it: Hey, that's one of the clown masks they used for Wilhelm's initiation back in season 1.
Blink and you miss it: Henry and Valter are doing a class presentation on rhetorical analysis, and for some reason they chose former US president George W. Bush as their subject, which is pretty hilarious given that he was a notoriously bad public speaker.
Blink and you miss it: Instead of asking Wilhelm, who is sitting right next to Simon, how he's feeling, he writes the question in his notebook and slides it over.
Subtext: Gotta keep up that facade and bottle all the negative feelings inside!
Lost in translation: Vincent uses the word "nyanländ", "newly arrived", which is the current politically correct way of saying immigrant.
Subtext: ...but in typical bully fashion he asks the target of the racist "joke" if it was funny, and Marwan obviously lies about it as to not upset Vincent.
Subtext: Felice tries to play it off as no big deal, but she actually wants this opportunity to spend time with Sara without her other friends, in order to rebuild the friendship.
Subtext: Sara is right to be suspicious of her dad, because he is a lot more energetic than usual, and excuses his behaviour by him simply being in a good mood. It's probably his new medication that kicked in, though.
Subtext: Speaking of having a hard time showing weakness, that's exactly what Wilhelm's been struggling with by not telling Simon how upset he is about having learned that Erik took part in the gay porn initiation.
Subtext: So the whole subplot of the past four episodes was that the school locked up all the phones, and Wilhelm joined the little strike to get them back, pissing Simon off in the meantime, and now that they have their phones back he's not picking up when Simon is calling him? Not cool.
Culture: The choir is practising "En vänlig grönskas rika dräkt", a Swedish hymnal with text from 1889, but this version of the melody is from the 1930's and composed by Waldemar Åhlén. It's a very well-known summer song that pretty much every Swedish schoolkid has sung at some end-of-schoolyear summer assembly.
Cinematography: We're in the cursed music room, and this time the lighting is harsh and sharp, Wilhelm is in stark contrast to the rest of the room, there's no soft golden light smoothing things out, so we're gonna have an argument!
Subtext: Yeah, no, Wilhelm, sweetie, that's projection, that's what you are thinking about your brother. Simon isn't doing anything wrong here, he's just concerned about you being a moody asshole.
Cinematography: To illustrate how the relationship is going south, the music room which used to be full of instruments, is just getting emptier and emptier, and Simon is left standing alone at the piano.
Subtext: No, he's not feeling ok, and no, he's not interested in making up with Sara right now, because he's still angry at her.
Subtext: There are different kinds of homophobia, for example, there are people who talk loudly about how accepting they are of The Gays, but who react negatively when someone close to them comes out, because they were only fine with it at a distance. And then there are people who are ignorantly homophobic in general, but who turn out to be supportive of anyone close to them who comes out, because they know that that person isn't like The Other Gays. Shitty, but less shitty than the first group, and I think that's how Erik would have reacted had he known about Wilhelm.
Culture: In Sweden, you do the practical driving test in a car provided by the testing centre to make it fair and equal for everyone. These cars all have a red sticker saying they're for driving tests.
Subtext: Micke is failing exactly how he described it in an earlier episode. He's on new medication, it made him feel good and like he was in control, so he thought he could take just one beer with his friends.
Subtext: No, it fits horribly, and you can clearly see that it was on sale and that the price tag is still on it. But this is what Linda can afford.
Lost in translation: Simon actually says "jag vet", "I know", when Sara tells him that their dad let her down and that she is sad and upset about it.
Subtext: Unlike Simon who got a cheap suit on sale, Wilhelm just has his perfectly tailored suit delivered to him by his bodyguards.
Subtext: Last episode Wilhelm picked a sport charity or something that he doesn't actually care about, because he thought it would best fit the narrative the royal court is going for. So now his internal homophobia is screaming at him to remove the nail polish, because it doesn't fit that image.
I don't know what this is: This has got to be an editing goof? This sequence of events doesn't work. Everyone else is up and about, preparing the third year's dinner with the teachers and they're even cooking the food with a chef, but it's early morning and Wilhelm is still sleeping in? Anyway, the whole thing is yet another example of how the school teaches hierarchy. As a younger student you service the older students, and when it's your turn to graduate, someone younger will service you.
Throwback: Aww, Simon made Wilhelm a sandwich, just like Wilhelm made one for Simon a bunch of times in previous seasons.
Culture: Man, early summer in Sweden is beautiful, isn't it? This was shot at Åkeshofs Slott in Stockholm, and if you do a 180 turn on that path, you'll see the subway station Åkeshov, and if you go through the tunnel under the road and then up to your right, you'll end up at a sports centre where I went twice a week as a kid for fencing training!
This tumblr is now about French school fencing! Doublé! Riposte!
Subtext: Time and time again the show has shown us how much August loves this shit, and that he wasn't lying when he said he knew everyone, because clearly he does!
Subtext: And to show how much Wilhelm dislikes this shit, he is so stiff when talking to the invited kids who are actually benefitting from his charity foundation, while August just immediately jokes around with them and is much more comfortable.
Culture: I've seen how a lot of fans think that the flower Wilhelm is wearing is a green carnation, which is a symbol for being gay, popularized by Oscar Wilde. I don't think so, that's not a thing in Sweden as far as I know. Instead, I think it's an alternate version of a Majblomma, which is an actual Swedish charity thing, where you can buy these plastic lapel flowers from schoolkids to show your support around this time of year.
Subtext: Even though Simon is there, he's being shoved to the back, because his presence doesn't fit the narrative. If Wilhelm instead had chosen to start some kind of LGBT charity, Simon would have had a much more prominent role. Oh, and poison or not, that Princess Cake looks delicious!
Subtext: Farima is expertly letting August down, who of course pretends that he's not the least bit disappointed at being excluded from having dinner at the royal palace.
Blink and you miss it: IT'S LISA! HI LISA!
Culture: Kalle Stropp och Grodan Boll are two characters from a radio show for kids from the 1940's, but they've also been featured in books, comic books, a live action movie, and animated cartoons. It's about the two titular characters, a cricket and a frog, and their adventures. The last movie was made in the 1990's though, so I'm not so sure kids these days knows who these characters are. Personally, I can't hear this song without hearing their silly character voices.
Subtext: The Queen is still keeping up appearances and lying through her teeth about how she's actually feeling.
Culture: In real world Sweden, Victoriadagen is celebrated in mid July when Crown Princess Victoria has her birthday, she hands out a sports award, there's a concert, some charity stuff, and you can sort of meet the royals or sing her happy birthday or something.
Subtext: August is repeating the excuse Farima used on him as to why he didn't attend the birthday dinner.
Blink and you miss it: That's a Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II. It's only about $10,000 and change.
Subtext: Simon, sweetie, I don't think the royals have any clue as to what "the usual" means when you're describing how regular people celebrate birthdays.
Culture: Simon actually says Laserdome, which is a company in Sweden that has been running laser tag arenas since the 1990's. I had no idea they still existed!
Culture: They're singing Lambo, a drinking song for students. It's a challenge song, so while the rest of the table sings, the target has to finish their glass, correctly sing the response lines, and turn the glass upside down over their head. If you fail, like August does in this scene, you have to do a penalty round and chug another glass.
Subtext: ...before her parents heaped all of their family's expectations on her. But maybe if Felice can break free she could pursue her actual dreams?
Throwback: Remember the scene in S1E3 when Simon is practising the Hillerska song in the music room?
Subtext: Queenie, sweetie, you're not looking Wilhelm in the eyes, you're not engaging in the discussion, and the only thing you do is to talk about Erik every chance you get. No wonder Wilhelm has had enough and explodes at his parents.
Blink and you miss it: Vincent won the "Daddy pays" award. Pappa betalar.
Subtext: In this context the award just means that he's the image of a bad boy, a player. But throughout the season, August has been struggling with whether or not he's actually a bad person, which is why he's not exactly happy with the award.
Cinematography: Fuck me that's a pretty shot of a typical summer sunset. In late May in the Stockholm area, sunset happens at around 9:30 in the evenings.
Subtext: One more explanation for August's body dysmorphia is that he got bullied for being weak and scrawny when he first started at Hillerska, so he decided to start working out more.
Blink and you miss it: The reason Fredrika is outside and happens to see Sara and August kiss, is because she's trying to sneak away the bottle of wine she stole earlier from the kitchen.
Subtext: And the reason Felice looks upset when Fredrika tells her what she saw is because she truly thought Sara was over August, and that's a condition of them reconciling.
Blink and you miss it: Wilhelm plays the first few notes of the original Hillerska song.
Subtext: And to cap off this terrible no-good horrible cliffhanger episode, Simon breaks up with Wilhelm by repeating the words his mom said to him earlier in the episode.

The more I watch Young Royals, the more I realize how everyone downplayed Wilhelm and Simon's feelings for each other, except Felice, but that's because she was able to see how hurt Wilhelm was after their breakup.
Rosh and Ayub suggested that Simon get a rebound to get over Wilhelm and while this comes for good intention, this to me showed how much they didn't understand how deep Simon's love for Wilhelm was. It wasn't something that Simon would forget after hooking up with someone else.
Even Linda, with how she talked about Marcus to Simon, completely seemed to brush off her son's past relationship. And I get why, she was trying to be supportive and Marcus seemed like a better partner for Simon, but again, if she understood Simon's feelings for Wilhelm, she wouldn't have said that.
Everyone at Hillerska also acted as if this was just a hookup, a phase. Henry heard Simon and Wilhelm talks in the changing room, but didn't talk about it because no one seemed like they knew what Simon and Wilhelm told each other. However, Henry did see Felice and Wilhelm kissing and immediately told Valter and the gossip spread.
There's also Marcus who just assumes things about Simon and Wilhelm's relationship and acts as if he knows everything while Simon didn't tell him anything.
And of course the whole "let's wait until you're 18" thing. This to me plays into the assumption that parents knows better then their children and that young queer people can't possibly know they are queer because they are kids. Obviously, this is so wrong in so many levels. Children and teenagers are their own person. Yes, they still have so many things to learn, but they are people, not mindless puppets for parents to control. So for Kristinna to tell Wilhelm "let's wait until you are 18" feels like she was hoping for Wilhelm to get into a heterosexual relationship by than and forget about Simon. Let's remember she called it an "unfortunate romance" in season 1.

Time for a little Walty (Henry/Walter)* poll!

It's safe to say that S3 and the meadow scene in particular have made many people more aware of this background ship and may have even shifted some viewers' perceptions of them. I figured it might be fun to see if thoughts on their status at the end of canon differ between shippers/fans and non-shippers.

Over analyzing the Henry x Valter meadow scene because it’s been living in my head rent free
Okay, it seems like I’m not the only one obsessing over the scene in the final episode where Henry lies drunk on a field and Valter (or Walter) picks him up. Walty shippers interpret this as a confirmation of their relationship, while other see this as a symbol of Wille’s freedom. Let’s take a deep dive into both analysis!
By this time we know that Young Royals almost always have deeper intentions with the way things are written and directed. Close ups, props and the order in which the scenes are put are planned out to perfection and rarely a coincidence. This scene came immediately after the Stedrika scene, indicating that Henry and Valter, just like Stella and Fredrika, might have had their own friends-to lovers-story.
The scene is also parallel to Wilmon’s football field scene in season one. In both scenes, one of the boys lays barely conscious in the grass and gets picked by someone who is close to them. For Wille, it’s Simon. For Henry, it’s Valter.
This might be a hint that Walty had their own Wilmon moment and that something happened between the them romanticly.
Another part of the fandom believes this was not a Walty confirmation, but instead an confirmation of Wille’s freedom. Throughout the series, Henry has always interrupted Wille during the most inappropriate moments.
Henry has been a reminder to both Wille as well as the audience that no matter what Wille did, he would always have eyes on him. He would always have a responsibility he couldn’t just give up. Henry’s passing out could be an indication that he’s not needed anymore, because Wille is now free. Free from the responsibility, free from everyone’s eyes, free from the burden.
The story telling in Young Royals has always been limited to the perspective of five characters: Wille, Simon, Felice, Sara and August. Even if we followed the storyline of other characters, like Stella and Fredrika, it was always told through the perspectives of the main five. This is one of the few scenes, if not the only one, that doesn’t do so. Maybe the writers/directors wants the audience to know what the other characters don’t know yet, which is that Wille is about to give up the throne.

The Kronascres were a family of 8 who fled Old Dracondia after the Calamity that destroyed it, & with them came their 6 dragons. All but two of the royals came to New Dracondia dragonriders, those two would not be able to become dragonriders until later in their lives.
Bohumír, Grandfather of the Family, The First & Only Ever Emperor of Dracondia Scre, rode the dragon Senčnokrilo, Conquering Emperor Dragon
Dalibor I, Father of the Family, The First King of Dracodnia Scre, rode the dragon Aerolon, The King's Wings
Regína I, Mother of the Family, The First Queen of Draconida Scre, rode the she-dragon Nasiluna, The Violent Moon
Anastazija, Eldest Daughter of the Family, The First 1st Princess of Dracondia Scre, rode the she-dragon Valrgon, Queen of All Dragons
Valter I, Eldest Son of the Family, The First Crown Prince & Dragon's Heir, later the Second King of Draconia Scre, rode the dragon Vritrax, The Giant
Nikolaj, Middle Son of the Family, 2nd Prince Who Never Was, rode the she-dragon Rozefyre, The Rose Mother
Gregor, Youngest Son of the Family, 2nd Prince, was originally dragonless but would later tame the dragon Senčnokrilo
Helenana, Youngest Daughter of the Family, 2nd Princess, was originally dragonless but would later hatch the she-dragon Skya
All dragons on Dracondia Scre origin from one of the original '6 Conquering Dragons', as such, they are the most well documented dragons in Dracondia's history.
Senčnokrilo
Senčnokrilo's name in High Dracondian translates to 'Shadowwing', & his rider, Bohumír G. od Kronascre, has be noted to have stated he named his dragon after his appearance. Senčnokrilo is a rare pitch black scaled dragon, with a deep crimson color for his wing membranes & bright yellow eyes. Aside from his rare coloration, he was also known for his large & bold horns atop his head that faced forward upon his head & his towering size, as he still remains to this day, the third largest dragon throughout Dracondia Scre's history. He was also covered in many scars & his wings would come to have holes in them later in life, as Senčnokrilo was an often presence during the wars to conquer the landmass in the name of the Kronascres. No other dragon fought in as many battles as Senčnokrilo, making he & his rider legends & revered figures in Dracondia's history. So much so that the royal family made it illegal to ever have another dragon, or another man, named Senčnokrilo or Bohumír. Many spin off names have been made instead to honor these two legends, which is deemed acceptable. After the death of his first rider, Senčnokrilo would go on to be tamed one last time, by Bohumír's youngest grandson, Prince Gregor A. od Kronascre, who had no dragon of his own, as his died as a still growing dragonet during the Calamity that destroyed Old Dracondia. They supposedly formed a bond through their shared pain of losing someone beloved. Senčnokrilo would later die shortly after his second rider Gregor, at a surprisingly young 140 years old.
Aerolon
Aerolon was the mount of the first king to establish & rule Dracondia Scre, Dalibor T. od Kronascre I. He was known to be green colored, with a slightly lighter green being present on his wing membranes, purple eyes & a white color being present on his underside & around his horns. Unlike Senčnokrilo, Aerolon was a younger & smaller dragon, making him swifter & more agile. Despite this, he still have great participation in the wars to conquer the landmass for the Kronascres. It was his frame that was used as reference to make the shape of of the sigil of the Royal House Kronascre, a dragon with six wings with a crown embedded in it's heart. Aerolon would have up to five riders over his lifetime, but only the First King was his truly noteworthy one. He lived a long life of a full 214 years, the longest lifespan of any of the 6 Conquering Dragons.
Nasiluna
Nasiluna's name was the combination of the words 'violent' & 'moon' in High Dracondian('nasilna' & 'luna'). She was a dragon with a grey scale coloration, with blue along her wing membrances, tail webbing & veins along her neck. Her eyes were also a bright blue & she boasted tall white horns along her head & around her wings.This she-dragon was the mount of the first queen to establish & rule Dracondia Scre, Regína V. od Kronascre I, & was like Senčnokrilo, in that she was already an older dragon(older then Senčnokrilo actually) when she was forced to flee her home of Old Dracondia & set out conquering what would become Dracondia Scre. She was also like Senčnokrilo & his rider, in that Nasiluna & Regína saw the most battle out of all other dragons, in which Nasiluna was second runner to Senčnokrilo. Despite this, Nasiluna was not a large dragon, but instead is one of the few dragons throughout Dracondian history to breath blue fire. Supposedly, while flying over the sea searching for a new home after fleeing Old Dracondia, Regína gave birth to her final child, Helenana, on Nasiluna's back. Nasiluna would not go on to bond with any other rider after Regína's death, & was only ever to have known to laid two dragon eggs in her entire life, which ended at 166 years old.
Valrgon
Valrgon was the mount of the First 1st Princess of Dracondia Scre, Anastazija L. od Kronascre. Her coloration was a vidid scarlet red, with pink wing & tails membranes, orange eyes & black horns along her face, neck & stomach. The she-dragon was named after a god of Old Dracondia, & was also present for when the Kronascre's fled the ruining country, & was most likely also flew with the young toddler Gregor on her back, after the young boy's own dragonet was killed in the calamity. While Valrgon did see some action on the battlefield, she was more of a beloved pet of Anastazija's rather then a weapon of war, & the same would be said for the next 3 riders who would tame her. For this, she would eventually grow to be one of the 3 largest dragons in Dracondian history, sitting comfortably at number 2. Instead of fighting wars, Valrgon instead was the mother of most dragons on Dracondia Scre, as she mad mulitpule mates over her years, including Senčnokrilo, Aerolon & the sole male dragon offspring of Rozefyre. Valrgon would have a few riders in her lifetime, but would eventually die at 197 years old. Having given birth to the most dragon offspring & most current day dragons coming from her broodline, she is called the 'Queen of All Dragons'. Current day dragons, such as Rdečlord & Xokat are descendants of Valrgon's broodline, most likely from her mateship with the dragon Aerolon.
Vritrax
Vritrax was the dragon of the First Crown Prince, the First Dragon Heir & the Second King of Dracondia Scre, Valter A. od Kronascre. He had a brillant gold coloration, with a slightly lighter shade of yellow on his underside & wing membranes. Like most of the other male dragons of the 6 Conquering Dragons, Vritrax saw a fair amount of time on the battlefield, & would see more battle again later in his life. While originally quite a small creature while with his first rider Valter, he would eventually grow rapidly under the care of his second & third rider, shooting up to incredible sizes. He is the largest dragon in Dracondian history, easily earning him the title of 'The Giant'. The Dragon Den that would eventually be build during his elder years was far too small to house Vritrax & he was forced to rest elsewhere. He enjoyed resting by the beach near Dragonlord's Rest, which is also where his body was discovered after he eventually passed away, at the age of 180. That beach as hereby sense be named Vritrax's Reprise.
Rozefyre
Rozefyre was the bonded dragon of Nikolaj Q. od Kronascre, the man who would have been the First 2nd Prince of Dracondia Scre, if he had only lived to see the proper establishment of the nation. The she-dragon was known for her pink coloration, with whites at the tip of her horns, wing membrances, tail & underbelly. As well as her bright green eyes, & most of all, her backwards facing corkscrew horns. The youngest of all the 6 Conquering Dragons, as well as the smallest & the one who saw the least amount of time on the battlefield, her slender frame made her unfit for battle. While at the time, it was seen as odd for a dragonrider to have a dragon of the opposite gender, her first & only rider Nikolaj was a peaceful man, which matched well with Rozefyre's own peaceful nature. Rozefyre & Nikolaj's bond is sited as one of the closest & deepest bonds in Dracondia. When her rider would later be assassinated in his sleep, Rozefyre would never again form a bond with another rider, even Prince Gregor, who attempted to form a bond with her over their shared grief of losing someone important. Rosefyre would be the starter of the infamous line of she-dragons that can produce dragon eggs without the need of copulations with another dragon. After giving birth to her clutch of three eggs, Rozefyre would pass away some time afterwards, at a very young 61 years old, around the same time as Senčnokrilo. One of her eggs would eventually be given to Princess Helenana, who would hatch the she-dragon, Skya. The riderless Modrakrila is a descendant of Rozefyre's broodline of self-reproducing she-dragons, who gave birth to the egg that would later hatch to become Misya, the newest addition to this broodline.

i recently came back from a trip and i saw an interaction at a rest stop and it just stuck in my head cus it was soooo walty coded

A loud and bold individual with a strong sense of justice. A boy with no restraint despite his parents and circumstances.
Appearance and Personality
Alastair is oh-so loud. He’s so so loud it’s a problem sometimes, even. It’s a trained skill for him to keep his mouth shut for longer than ten seconds around other people—at least he’s able to filter what he says? Sort of? He’s got a good heart, at least.
Not that one could tell at first glance. He takes after Dheginsea’s monstrous height, reaching a bit taller than the short dad (I say, knowing Valter is much taller than I, the mun)—Valter has a problem with this. He does not say so. Stacked on top of that height, he likes to pack on muscles—Alastair may not be an actual laguz, but he likes the idea of using his bare fists to fight all the same. Heroic!
The child was spared the baldness genes though it seems—though, perhaps just for now? Changes what he does with his hair daily since he can’t make up his mind. At the very minimum, during fights, he knows how to keep it out of his face.
His brand on his left shoulder, which oddly enough stays covered most of the time! Though some folks suspect he might be branded (tbh, he looks a lot like the royal dragons [shrug]), his presence is usually intimidating enough that no one tries anything—or, you know, if they find out he’s kind, that only makes them all the more afraid! Loud little (big) gremlin.
Definitely the type of guy to wrestle wyverns for fun. Would also probably suplex Valter if that dad would stay in place long enough to get slammed.
History
The type of kid to get into a lot of fights when he was young! Very headstrong type of person who didn’t understand the complexities of courts and castles and whatnot: good is good and bad is bad, right? Just act accordingly!
This went well hand-in-hand with his parents being generally protective of him—branded and whatnot. Aside from just wanting to be strong to do good, he wanted to ease the load off of them a bit; make it so he’s able to hold his own. He also ends up being pretty protective of those who are important to him: he’s super blunt about it though. I don’t know what else to tell you.
Combat
Fist-fighter all the way! It might not be the smartest decision, but he’s all for throwing himself head-first into battle and punching his way through! His parents don’t know how he wound up like this.
Aside from straight-up brawling though, he’s also an axe type of guy—Valter tried once to make him a lance user, but Alastair… was not very interested in doing anything more than swinging around a weapon with no rhyme or reason. Fights pretty darn good though—with an axe. And his fists.
Good for him, though! He did not inherit the ‘I like hurting people’ gene! I think it might’ve canceled out with the ‘I want to protect people’ part and then there were some leftovers. Still gets enthralled by battle, but Al’s more interested in the adrenaline rush than actually inflicting pain on his opponents. So long as he wins, that’s all that matters!
Summary
He’s an oddly intuitive individual—trusts his gut and doesn’t tend to be wrong! Alastair likes to do what he can to help people, though he generally prefers manual labor and knocking about some louts to the sort of tasks that require thinking. Gets along well with folks who aren’t out to get him—who would’ve guessed?—but he’s also stubborn in his judgments of people. Once he forms an opinion of you, it’s hard to change—good or bad.
The map where you recruit him would have him engaging with a group of bandits all by himself—secondary to the main objective of the map. Whether you help him out or not doesn’t change much and he’s actually able to manage himself well! Makes good use of his terrain and knows how to avoid biting off more than he can chew. Actually recruiting him is very easy though: have any allied unit talk to him and the conversation will end up with him having a positive opinion of them. Or it’s negative and he joins you to keep an eye on that person. There’s no in between.
Unique dialogue against both parents, of course, though only Valter would counter (Valter is a menace; I asked Wild about Dheginsea). Would feel bad about attacking them, especially since he finds it hard to believe they’re bad people—part of that unwavering opinion thing combined with the fact that they are his family—but what must be done must be done, and he’d rather put in the hard work and effort than leave it to somebody else. Call it one final spar, hm?
Also as a bonus! The chibi where I designed him + a domesticated Valter for height reference (Valter is 6'0 flat).
