It's been awhile since I posted anything so...
Here you go.

Naked cuddles until their clothes arrive. I did Ura's face (including painting it white) and hair, and Gaara's Boruto-era hair. Bodies are a Peach Nendoroid man and a Piccodo Pure White 10.
I already lost Gaara's extra hands so he only has a fist for that hand. *sob*

I really prefer the Ootsutsuki affair in Boruto to end the way it did in Boruto: Naruto the Movie (without Urashiki). Without Kama, Kara, and everything. The existence of aliens and children who are too powerful bothers me. I prefer the story to focus on how Konoha and other hidden villages fix the broken system--which is the biggest issue in the Naruto series and is still left untouched in the Boruto series. Hello, why is Orochimaru still able to experiment and create artificial humans and even manipulate Mitsuki???
You know, I really love Mitsuki, and sometimes in alternative AU, I really want to make him an actual human (how he was conceived? Nah, it's up to your imagination). Orochimaru becomes... well, he really doesn't do morally questionable things by experimenting with humans. They could be a weird kind of family and maybe not very healthy or functional, but Mitsuki grew up with an older brother and strange uncles and aunts, and perhaps he wasn't excellent socially. But it's okay, overall he had an everyday life, not the manipulated one when he thought he had forged his own path, but he wasn't.
After Boruto: Naruto the Movie, there are still two dad issues to solve. Boruto and Sarada must learn to know Naruto and Sasuke. The Uzumaki and Uchiha families must learn to be better. It's not resolved with "It's okay, don't change," when it's clear the father's hours are unhealthy, and he's neglecting his kids (not always, and probably primarily unconscious, but it's still a problem). And not solved by... nothing, just trying to understand and understand and swallow the fact that the outside world needs the father, and he can't, can never stay, no matter it's for the child's safety. Yes, for the greater good, but it's still painful reasons.
The overhaul of the hidden village system and the generally toxic shinobi support the idea that child soldiers won't happen in a decade or two. As Boruto progresses to pre-teens, it seems that peace has brought non-combat classes to the Academy. There are more job options. Mental health awareness (supposedly, although somehow never mentioned after Sakura Hiden) started to exist. I like to think of Naruto and Kakashi, growing up to be orphans after the war, slowly understanding how much the toxic system will cost them, and creating a safer place for the kids. No more children living alone.
(The thing is, at least two of Boruto's classmates live alone; Sumire and Mitsuki. Sumire's background is interesting, and if I tried hard, I could consider her a case of slipping through the cracks of the bureaucracy.
Mitsuki's case is more complicated. I mean, you can't possibly make Orochimaru or Suigetsu stay in Konoha and take care of Mitsuki, and after all, he's not a normal kid.)
But children are still soldiers at the age of twelve.
I think it will take at least another decade for the Academy's graduation age to rise internationally. It might only go up a year or two. Still, as peace truly settled and the world was touched by technological advances, the ages went up, up, and up until there were no more child soldiers in the world in five or six decades, and the shinobi Academy became something of a  real army school? And the world is getting closer to the world we live in now, I think.
It would be great to see the great-grandchildren of Naruto and Konoha 12 know nothing of war and only know peace. The days when child soldiers were just a thing of the past, where children didn't have to kill to make a living.
Since the Boruto series can't give me that, then it's time for fanfiction! Whoever writes story ideas like this, let me know, haha; I'll be happy to read it.

So the recent “time travel fic” arc joins the ranks of entertaining but flawed arcs in the Boruto TV series.
On the plus side:
It was actually fun to see Boruto interacting with the younger versions of the old generation, not to mention getting a glimpse of the hardships that Naruto endured during childhood and gaining some newfound respect for his father as a result. The scenes of Boruto and Naruto eating ramen and training together, as well as the scenes with Neji and Hinata really made me smile.
Seeing Jiraiya in the anime again after so long was great. I really appreciate the implication that he seems to have figured out what was truly going on with the visiting “street performers”, but decided to play dumb and spare their secret.
Some of the interactions between Sasuke and Jiraiya were priceless, particularly considering that as far as I remember, they never actually interacted much (or at all) in the original series.
For that matter, the scene where young Sakura finally confronts Sasuke about the letter she found and Jiraiya invents a rather ridiculous alibi that an extremely reluctant Sasuke goes along with to placate her suspicions has to be one of the most hilarious scenes of the entire series. The younger Sakura calling Sasuke a creep before leaving was just the cherry on top.
On the negative side:
As I feared and expected, the arc had its share of logical mistakes and inconsistencies. The biggest one might be how only a handful of people (Jiraiya, Hinata and Sakura) noticed the uncanny resemblance between Naruto and Boruto. I mean, I know that the truth (Boruto being Naruto’s time traveling son from the future) sounds too ludicrous for most people to even consider it, but I’m surprised that no one else commented something along the lines of Boruto being some missing brother or cousin of Naruto.
Talking about logical mistakes, I’m also bothered by the fact that Jiraiya didn’t comment about or even noticed Urashiki’s Rinnegan during the final battle. One would believe he would be the first one to be freaked out by their enemy having that specific doujutsu.
For that matter, the final battle against Urashiki was honestly a disappointment for me. The first half of the fight (with Boruto, Naruto and Jiraiya trying to figure out and counter the powers of his Rinnegan) was actually interesting. But the second half (after Urashiki enacts his transformation) has to be one the worst written and choreographed major battles in the series so far. There wasn’t a logical flow from one set-piece of the fight to the next, and I honestly wonder if the animation studio ran out of budget or something towards the end. The thing that bothered me the most was that scene when Naruto goes into 9 tails-mode and is supposedly rampaging around, yet the only thing we see is Sasuke and Jiraiya talking to each other with some intercuts of the same “explosions in the sky” shot that the animators just used. At least the final father-son Rasengan attack provided a nice visual.
I’m also not particularly thrilled with Urashiki being killed off. He was actually one of the most fun villains of the TV series so far, and considering some things related to the Ootsutsuki just surfaced in the manga recently, his death feels like a waste.
Things that were interesting to a degree, but weren’t ultimately used to their full potential:
The subplot about young Sakura finding the letter that Sarada wrote to Sasuke. The whole thing was ultimately kind of pointless, outside of Sasuke reflecting on all the problems that he caused to his wife. As a silver lining, while I’m not really fan of Sasusaku (not after all the BS that Sasuke pulled off in the original series), I did found endearing the final scene between Sasuke and Sakura in the Uchiha apartment.
Boruto learning a bit about Sasuke’s dark past and confronting him about it could have led to some interesting scenes, but it wasn’t really brought up afterwards. From a dramatic standpoint, it could really be interesting if Boruto and Sarada learned all the truth regarding Sasuke’s past, not to mention whether or not that would affect their opinion of him, but I guess the TV series is just not ready to explore that avenue yet. I just wonder if the manga will tackle it at some point.
