Another freaking Superjail AU! :DDDDD

This is called Little Game AU! Here it takes place in a Victorian mansion and Jared is unfortunately trapped and needs to get out but in order to do that he has to play a game of hide and seek with Warren Davis! (The Warden) who has the key to escape.

Right now I don't have much info but you can ask: @violetsees for questions and answers, and again if anyone is interested in making fanart of them you can message me or them for permission :)

I realized some things after watching “The Amazing Digital Circus” pilot:

Cane is a mutation of a Tumblr sexyman which is why he dresses suave and with traditional early 20th century bourgeois clothes, and has a slightly unhinged personality to his speech patterns and actions as an omniscient being. Cane dresses much like the Onceler (sexyman prime) but has this slight tinge of entertainment announcer who can’t let go of his persona of excitement and boisterousness (he is a ringmaster at every second of the digital day) mixed with a tone of illogical but straightforward rationality, like Beetlejuice. (sexyman adjacent) Cane is most like the Warden from Superjail but while designing him Gooseworx got silly and removed his face and added a set of teeth with eyes between them, shattering his sexyman design and lending more towards the “freak leader who takes dream logic with a straight face” type of person, even less sexyman than the suave stoic but frustrated sexymen of old.

Next, kinger is an anti-sexyman. He dresses well (literally always wears a king’s robe) but he is said to have lost his mind, always stares with this uncontrollable deadpan thousand yard stare, and frequently loses track of where he is, either yearning for unrelated things to his current social cues (insect collecting) or forgetting where he is and scaring himself when someone standing next to him for a long period of time reenters his fueld of vision (what happened with Kinger and Gaggle TWICE in the pilot)

The slight insanity, well dressed attire, and odd mannerisms alongside distinct interests and askew behavior make Kinger more like the Spamton of The Amazing Digital Circus than anything else, everyone loves how tragic but silly he is, since background observations in the pilot have made fans conclude there was a queen chess piece named “queener” who used to exist in the circus and thematically should be kinger’s wife before she left, her only evidence if existence was her portrait on the hall of bedrooms Pomninand Ragatha travelled through, x-ed out in red.

Kinger’s character archetype makes me conclude he is too silly to be a tumblr sexyman, but too similar to Spamton. to be a lone example without categorization of a Tumblr character archetype. Kinger and Spamton belong to Tumblr character genre I call “Tumblr sillyman” or “Tumblr Spammyman” where a character is well dressed, capricious, and us hunted to have a tragic and unfortunate past that made them slowly mentally deteriorate into who they are now.

As for Cane I’d call him an “false sexyman” since his aesthetic design is sexyman like (if bill cioher was a sexyman Cane can become one too) but lacks the personality and hanitual traits of a sexyman, inner frustration and inner conflict or the smooth talking mastermind with a buttery voice. His craziness is similar to the Warden or Bill Cipher but he doesn’t experience a show concluding conflict with the protagonists or talk whimsically yet deranged he just sounds crazy and excited all the time. Cane’s false sexyman archetype diverges from Alastor from Hazbin hotel, being this dark conniving malicious force that talks smoothly but also doesn’t give off the high energy and bombastic attitude of a sexyman in a sincere way, his entire talking and media to convince people is the same way one he uses to rise to ultimate power: the radio. Alastor passes as a sexyman butnis not sincere, Cane acts sincerely like a crazy sexyman but doesn’t meet the qualifications. Both are false sexymen.

That’s my essay on how The Amazing Digital Circus characters feel to me.

And once again, I am in rarepair Hell.I just watch a few clips of superjail since I didn't know what it is, and oh boy, what a trip! The Warden and Bill belongs with eachother, unfortunately, to the detriment of every one else

some soob headcanons!

1: soob is autistic and her hyperfixation is magic! she also stutters as a vocal stim that she can't help, even if she dislikes it! her happy stims are the hand flapping, waving her wand, and poofing things with magic! her nervous stim is pacing

2: soob's voiceclaim is the warden of superjail! here's a video of him briefly speaking [ignore the fact i literally screenrecorded him saying cum this is just her voice trust me]

3: soob likes to talk to hocus [their bunny] about their life, and problems! they are very shy with actual people, and they prefer to talk to their own pet - even if the pet hates them

4: soob is very creative, and she likes to draw!

5: they also have a bit of a cheesy obsession with characters that have magic/wear top hats and thats one of the reasons why they wear a suit!

6: soob likes to perform personal little magic shows for anyone shes close with! she also likes to sometimes street perform! unfortunately, she always fucks up and gets rotten tomatoes or that kinda stuff thrown at her and she hates it

7: soob is a bit flirty, but theyre embarrased about their tendencies. however, she is very physically affectionate towards those she loves!

8: soob's favourite movies are the lorax [the borax in sparklecare lore?? idk] and the house of magic [uhm the home of mystery??]. theyre her guilty pleasures

9: soob loves pink roses

10: soob never means any harm, she only wants to make people happy! shes just a sweetie all round, though people dont realize it

The First Time The Warden and Cherry Met

When Cherry woke back up she was suddenly ten feet over the sealine being carried along by a strange rectangular flying robot, it was… disconcerting to say the least. And yet she bit her tongue as to stop herself from screaming, worried that it would shock the bot making them drop her, which would most certainly not be ideal. She just had to wait patiently as she suddenly brought face to face and into the gaping maw of a purple cloud which looked surprisingly like a face with a top hat, smaller yellow clouds making up the glasses. And as she looked on she could only see a volcano with a jail in the centre, 'Well that's just impractical!' Cherry thought to herself as she was brought closer and closer to the prison.

Meanwhile, inside the head office of Superjail, Jared had abruptly busted into The Warden's office in a panic, a common occurrence which left The Warden nothing but annoyed. "Hello Jared, you know you're lucky you didn't break the door off its hinges." He tsked and went to his seat looking bored at the short man, while Jared smiled nervously before straightening his face again. "Well I'm sorry Sir, but a new prison has been delivered to Superjail!" Jared stated in a blind panic while The Warden rolled his eyes, leaning further back into his chair. "Oh puh-lease Jared, you and I both know it's probably just Jacknife like usual." Yet as he saw Jared look down to his clipboard still in a heavy panic he pinched his nose and went to the door. "Fine, I suppose it won't hurt me to check… are you a statue or something?" The Warden snided, causing him to run after his boss.

As The Warden went to the courtyard he surveyed the area only to get more annoyed than he was in the first place, "Well, Jared where are theeee-" He trailed off as he was finally able to spot her. And how glad he was to have done so, his heart instantly grew a flutter and a grin formed on his face as he made his way over to her. "Hello there, Dear, welcome to Superjail, now I really must ask," He grabbed her hand but in a way where he was not actually shaking it, just grasping it, "what are you doing here?" Cherry looked at the man, a small smile forming on her face, best case scenario he was being rhetorical and knows exactly how this accident occured, worse he's just as clueless as she is, "Well, that's the thing, I have no idea…"

"Hmm, unfortunately we have no records of you for anything." The Warden explained, they were now in his office sitting across from each other, on opposite sides of the desk. "Well, that's just perfect… luckily I didn't really have anything back home but… I don't think prison life's the life for me…" She rubbed the back of her neck a little concerned, he noticed her discomfort and so offered her a warm smile and small proposal. "Yes, well this isn't the best situation in the world… I could show you Superjail, it may help take your mind off things and knowing your way around would be useful if you are to stay here for a longer period of time." He offered to which Cherry nodded, agreeing to the idea.

A short while later they were then at a platform, The Warden had changed into a rather "spiffy" drivers outfit, and they were just waiting for the car to actually pull up. As it did, Cherry immediately noticed the rather odd design, "Why's it look like an eyeball?" She asked to which The Warden grinned in response. "Well, like everything in Superjail it was designed off of a specific aspect of myself." Cherry raised an eyebrow but simply shrugged as she entered the front compartment.

Ada Lovelace lore dump :) it’s been a while since I’ve done anything about her. Superjail and Postal have mostly hjacked my mind.

• Already posted this, but the reason she’s younger than the other clones (she’s 13, the rest are 16) is because her test tube got messed up before release, causing her birth to be postponed by another couple of years. At least she didn’t get mutated like Marie Curie did.

• Has a one-sided crush on Ghandi, was really sad when she didn’t see him again after she was unfrozen.

• Used to try really hard to fit in with the older clones, but after a while, she just gave up and became somewhat of a recluse.

• Despite this, she’s very close friends with Van Gogh. Both of their shy personalities mesh well and they like drawing and painting together (even though she sucks at art lol)

• Thought being frozen for 20 years would help her age up, unfortunately it didn’t.

• Whenever people ask her what her favorite music/artist is, she tells them it’s Kelly Clarkson (or for the 2023 clones, Taylor swift), when really she’s just a big Metalhead. Her favorites are Slipknot, Metallica, Korn and a lot more.

Everyone jokes about the Onceler times and making a new Tumblr Sexy Man.

What's gonna blindside everyone is when Superjail eventually resurges due to some unfortunate string of events.

Metalocalypse #15: “Dethkids” | November 19, 2006 – 11:45PM | S01E16

Toki, the sweetie of the group, is feeling spurned because he has been constantly left out of the Dethklok Minute, a segment on an Entertainment Tonight style news-magazine show. He feels like his kid-friendly image (he is shown receiving a Nickelodeon Kids Choice style award, replete with slime) is causing him to be ignored. So he decides to become a scary demon. Unfortunately for him, he's getting pressured into participating in a Make-A-Wish style dying child's final wish to meet him. Toki doesn't want to have anything to do with the little snot and refuses.

Meanwhile, Nathan is tapped to record an audiobook of the complete works of Shakespeare, Pickles is struggling with alcoholism (in that the press doesn't believe he's actually as drunk as he claims to be, so he has to step it up), and Murderface is finally embarking on his side project Planet Piss. Nathan's bit is most memorable, in that I remembered it most clearly.

I can't talk about this one without talking about the ending so hopefully you're not stupid enough to read these without having seen the episodes, right?

Okay, so this has maybe one of my favorite endings of all time. The little dying girl comes to visit with Toki, who still refuses to meet with the kid. The band manager has Toki watch a DVD that the little girl prepared for him. It's genuinely a really sweet moment, the little girl performs a song and it gets through to Toki, whose heart grows three sizes that day. He rushes out to finally meet the little girl and SHE IS FUCKING DEAD, AND THE MUSIC GETS ALL SCARY AND SCREAMY AND IT CUTS BACK TO HER FACE AND HER EYES HAVE BEEN EATEN BY MAGGOTS AND YOU HEAR HER VOICE IN THE BACKGROUND GOING “I'M DEAD BECAUSE OF YOUUUUU!!!!” AHHH!!!!!

Somehow though, despite the over-the-top awfulness, this isn’t traumatically disturbing. It’s only extremely funny. There's a similar episode of Superjail where the little girl from the pilot winds up in the jail due to a mix-up. The inmates are protective of her, but she unfortunately dies, naturally, of cancer. Both shows trade in dark, violent, boundary-pushing humor. Both of these described episodes make you squirm in similar ways. But the thing with both episodes is I feel like it actually comes from a sensitive, vulnerable place. It actually acknowledges just how awful and tragic it would be to have a child die on you. It WALLOWS in it. That is why I consider this episode to be one of my favorite Metalocalypse episodes of all time. It still makes me laugh, HARD.

My only complaint: the ending of this one is so strong, EXCEPT for the pointless addition of Pickles during the final musical sequence. When Toki watches the little girl's DVD he sorta hallucinates a music video where Pickles eventually inexplicably shows up. The only logical explanation is that they felt like they needed more song for timing reasons and they cut something out they felt was weak and had to replace it with something? Also post-credits scene where Murderface is listening to his comically bad Planet Piss song really brings me down. I've seen this episode a LOT, and that closing bit always left a bad taste in my mouth. It's actually burned into my brain, that scene. The way the music sounds, it’s just Murderface screaming nonsense. It’s not even like, bad in a funny way. It’s just abrasiveness. They really should have ended on the high note of a little wheelchair girl with her eyeballs being eaten by bugs

I must admit, I never would've expected Robotomy to be on here but! It I love the show :D the characters are cute and it was made by the same people who made my favourite cartoon Superjail (no characters voiced by Dana Snyder unfortunately)

I remember hearing about Robotomy years ago but never watched it until today (yesterday I guess since it’s 2am now)! And I was wondering why the animation looked familiar!

And no Dana voiced characters? What a shame!

some more stuff abt the future!stingray au

- a bunch of the more notable inmates (ie. ash, nicky, gary and bird) have been promoted to high-ranking minions/commanders for stingray’s army. promoting a bunch of random convicts to lead/command an army has gone exactly as well as you’d expect (read: very poorly), but stingray keeps them around anyway because they can lead the stingtroopers competently enough to hold off the ultrajail/superprison alliance.

- the resistance can’t definitively decide on whether their team name is “ultrajail” or “superprison”. they’ve taken to calling it both just so the warden will stop starting this argument.

- the inmates of superjail and ultraprison are supposed to be fighting against stingray on the side of their respective prisons, but their numbers (in terms of inmates and minor staff members) have been decimated, with a fuckton of their respective inmates defecting from the side of the prisons and joining stingray instead (because why wouldn’t they, the warden/mistress basically drafted them and treated them as cannon fodder, plus stingray’s promising them a lot of perks if they join his side)

- of course, stingray’s not much better in that regard, since unless they have a particularly useful set of abilities, most inmates/minor staff start out as stingtroopers and he views those as completely expendable.

- fang is still around, but he barely grew bigger than he is in canon (it turns out that only female crynoks get giant as adults). stingray still spoils him like he is a giant monster by giving him a giant enclosure to himself and feeding his enemies to him.

- this au still uses the “(almost) nobody dies permanently” rule and things are regularly reset back to the status quo if they get too bad. unfortunately, the status quo is still a very bad situation.

I was bored in my 3rd period class so I sketched out a Superjail oc! Her name is Betty Boo but she would rather be called Betsy because she likes that name more than Betty. Betty works at Superjail as a lunch lady working in the cafeteria. She mostly fears dirty roaches and The Warden.

(which is unfortunate for her because she works with him).

Her personality would be sweet, shy, sometimes clumsy, polite and just very happy! She speaks French, German, and English. She deeply cares about everyone she finds as friends, (Her best friends are Krista Engel from @calithecretin, Todd from @kimb33x, Alice, Jared, Jean and Paul, Ash,Jailbot, The Mistress, Charise, Bruce, and Nova. EVERYONE EXCEPT Warden) Betsy has a twin brother named Christian Boo. (I haven't done his design yet) Betsy also has a small little crush on Alice, which she tries to hide. (much to The Warden's dismay but he doesn't know that)

I will admit that my superjail hyperfixation has died down and it’s more of a nice appreciation for it now, like with happy tree friends or dhmis

Like I’ll check up on the art and what ppl are doing now and then and draw my own shit when I get the time, it’s just not my focus rn

UNFORTUNATELY MY FOCUS IS ON ONE SCRUNKLY MOTHERFUCKER SO UH OH

But like the twins get to permanently be one of my favourite all time characters they are just so silly and slightly evil :)
