the first tributes arista ever mentored were selby miller (16) and baxter accola (15), in the 55th hunger games. their arena was hilly, with small abandoned-looking huts scattered throughout the arena - some of which hid traps or mutts waiting to be stumbled upon. baxter died day one, trying to escape the bloodbath. selby died day three, caught by the career pack. it never gets easier, but watching that first time was a kind of pain arista will never forget.

35 Years Old, IT Solutions Engineer

Nicholas grew up in the shadow of Tampa, his father a professor at University of Tampa and his mother a event coordinator for the Convention Center. From a young age, Nicholas loved computers, and even went to Hillsborough Community College for dual enrollment his senior year of High School.

Nicholas was one of those stereotypically bullied fat nerds in high school, and despite the stress caused by his bullies, he was still always kind to everyone.

It wasn't until his 17th birthday when he realized something strange was happening to him.

He woke up on the wrong side of town, literally, waking up in a back alley behind a club called "The Honey Pot" (where he had been wishing the night before to go for his 18th birthday). The good news for him was there was a man a little older than himself who had found him and explained what was happening to him. He was special, an evolutionary human being. And he had super powers.

The man, Raymond (Nicholas calls him 'Ray Ray' for short), was the leader of a group of people like them, who lived safely among the regular humans and stayed off the radar of a secret paramilitary organization called Ultra. Raymond warned Nicholas to ignore any feeling of Wanderlust, as he believed it was a trap set by the main Ultra headquarters to lead him to New York City. Nicholas learned how to manage a resistance to the 'call' and became a part of Raymond's group while finishing out high school, and even starting college with Raymond's financial support.

He went on to get a perfectly 'normal' job in IT Distribution and moved to the Saint Petersburg area for his work, and to be Raymond's eyes in Pinellas County.

Raymond, who was unable to get to Casimiro in 1999, asked Nicholas to keep an eye out for Clarissa Tellemanca and her potential breakout (they both knew it was coming, Raymond had been hired by her parents to find Casimiro-- Raymond never told them he was in New York, clearly he was safer in Ultra's den than with those people).

Nicholas witnessed Clari's breakout at the softball game in 2004 after a few nights of psionic signatures being tracked, but clearly was not as disgusting as to follow her into her locker room as Ultra was, which led to her being terrified and fleeing. He missed catching her on the way out and by the time he got to her childhood home, she had taken off. He personally knocked the Ultra agent out from behind and deposited him on the Southern Ultra's front step as a warning.

Updated Vivi’s doc to reflect this (it’s not anything more than what I’m putting here ,) but I’ve added to her that her mother was actually a draconic subspecies of Lochfolk.  There are minor appearance changes that go with this (albeit most of these things she already had , just weren’t attributed to this,) ; Fangs , claws and tinted hands / forearms (both of which are hidden beneath her gloves ,) slightly pointed ears and the occasional (very rare) appearance of small wing - like appendages and horns. There are no real tweaks to her personality since she hasn’t experienced anything yet that would set off the draconic nature , but her highly aggressive fighting style (when out of public view) can be attributed to this. (also this makes her the knight , the princess , and the dragon all in one. ₍ᐢ.  ̫.ᐢ₎ )

i haven't really gone into abigail's looks and how she cares for herself. the way i portray her, her eyes have always been the main draw, a really pretty and obvious blue and big but it goes beyond that with the way she looks at people. the best way to describe it is an interaction she had once " you look like you're doing me a favor. "

she never carries herself as simply innocent but always neutral and unwavering. the second thing that tends to guide people's attention is her lips. always full and direct.

abigail does tend to herself daily, although she's never fully done up and dressed except when she goes into town. around more strangers.

“BioWare Continues to Refuse to Pay Severance On August 23 of this year, BioWare eliminated “approximately 50 roles at BioWare”. Following the layoffs, seven ex-BioWare employees engaged the services of R. Alex Kennedy to represent their interests, stating that the amount of severance offered was insufficient under Alberta common law. Counsel for the employees has attempted to reach a compromise that would avoid requiring lengthy court proceedings, but BioWare’s lawyers refused any offers to negotiate and settle out of court. The basis of Kennedy’s claim is that according to Alberta precedents and under Canadian law, these employees should be receiving approximately 1.7 months of severance per year of service they gave to BioWare. BioWare has now filed a Statement of Defence, which argues that the seven terminated employees are only entitled to two weeks of severance per year spent in service to BioWare, because of a contract provision that Kennedy says is not enforceable. The filing means BioWare will be taking these former employees to court rather than working towards finding an out of court resolution. The developers involved in the suit have expressed their disappointment: - “We are disappointed that BioWare prefers stalling and intimidation tactics to fair dealing with people who have given years, and in some cases decades, of dedication and hard work to the company.” - “We believe they are using intimidation and stalling tactics to try and get us to drop out. A lot of the more junior employees and those with families, who had more monetary pressure on them, could not risk waiting on a court case that may take many months more to resolve, and have already had to drop out.” - “At the time of the layoffs, BioWare offered us professional assistance in finding new employment, and an additional payment, but ONLY on the condition that we signed an agreement saying we cannot talk about any details of the settlement, and that we would completely waive any right to legal action or even to complain in any way about anyone associated with BioWare now or ever in the future. Tactics like that sure make me think that BioWare knows it is in the wrong.” - “Despite what they publicly announced when they laid us off, this process has been anything but empathetic, respectful, and communicative.” The latest BioWare layoffs were the third round so far this year, and many of the developers affected even in earlier rounds are still searching for work, though some have started to find new positions. Regardless of employment status, the members of the current lawsuit state they remain determined to pursue BioWare in court, regardless of their employment status: - “We strongly believe that if Dragon Age: Dreadwolf does not do as well as BioWare or EA wants at launch, there will be more, even larger layoffs. Therefore, regardless of our own well-being, we believe it is important to hold BioWare responsible and get a clear decision on what settlement amount is legal.
