@blaithnne sorry for tagging you but i remember sometimes you had some dreams about Hilda, specifically around Johanna and i just had a dream about her too so i had to tell you about this cuz this is crazy.
FUCK it was horrible. Ok so the dream was where there was another Hilda Movie again and there was a part 1 and 2. Idrk what happened in part 1 but i was watching part 2. I guessed something happened to Hilda that made her.. not herself..
Idk how to explain this but.. inside Hilda's head there were like.. 3 version of Hilda, a normal one, i forgor what's the 2nd one, and 3rd one.. uhmm.. how do i say this.. i don't want to be rude but let's say it's the uhh.. unhinged autistic one and only one of em should control Hilda which should be the normal one. The 3rd Hilda is very chaotic. So.. let's just say these 3 version of Hilda like this:
A: the normal one
B: i forgor but let's say she's the mysterious one
C: the unhinged one
I was watching a scene where Hilda heads to the top of a tower looking for someone that's about to get away. She opened a door and there was no one there except for a giant hole on the wall, i guess the villain escaped. Frida and David are in the sky flying with broom sticks (i guess Frida lend David her other broom stick) and checks on Hilda who's trying to find the villain
Btw in the previous part of the movie, the part one she was like cursed i guess? And have..wild super powers that she unable to control? And (A) got lost deep in her subconscious and trying to gain back control or back to normal i guess. (A) kinda knows what is happening outside but she doesn't have full control over her own body. The other part of herself was in control (i think it was the (B) one)
She finally got back to the main control area if the brain i guess and (A) saw (B) and (C) in that room. (B) was controlling and (C) was just sittin there. (A) then trying to fight back for the control so (A) and (B) were fighting. While both of them get distracted, (C) starts to take control. Idrk what happened but (C) starts to get manipulated by the mysterious villain and made her seeing what not actually there. (C) starts panicking like crazy and releasing her powers chaotically. Hilda has powers like Monkey D. Luffy or Jake the dog i guess where she's able to stretch and resize a part of her body and those powers hits Frida and David, KILLING THEM BOTH. After the havoc is finish, (A) just realized what happened outside and she saw both of her friends brutally died bcuz of her action and she was fuckin DEVASTATED !
And then at the end of the movie had CRAZY plot twist revalation where the Villains was actually JOHANNA AND VICTORIA VAN GALE who are consuming/using the miseries of Hilda, Frida, and David so Johanna and Victoria able to live a life together somewhere AND BE GAY TOGETHER bcuz they both are cursed too i guess. They both had villainous laughs..

1. Are you named after anyone?
Nope. But I do think they got my 2nd name from a song, but I don't remember which one. They just liked my name I guess (I don't, which is why I go by my 2nd online)
2. When was the last time you cried?
Uhh yesterday or the day before. My memory is pretty bad lately. But I'm not doing so great and I keep getting knocked down when I think I can get up, and this week was a wreck
3. Do you have kids
Does my cat count? She sure acts like a little kid sometimes. Other than that, no. And I don't think I will. Not only does pregnancy scare the crap out of me, I do not have great genetics. I already struggle with my genetic disabilities and disorders, I don't want to be the reason someone else goes through the same as me. Plus, I don't think I'd be a good parent because I already get overstimulated when my cat begs for dinner an hour early.
4. What sports do you play/have you played
I used to dance. Started with jazz balet but my body type wasn't good for it - I could not do the split and stuff. I did win 2nd place before I moved to street dance. But then my parents got divorced and I moved, never picked it up again. I've never found a sport that I like enough to do. Maybe basketball, but I'm too small and can barely run so that's not happening
5. Do you use sarcasm
I do, but people never seem to know it is sarcasm and think I'm actually serious. It's like they pull an uno reverse card because I usually don't understand jokes and take them seriously
6. What is the first thing you notice about people?
Uh, I don't know. I tend to be uncomfortable around new people. Maybe their face? Idk.
7. What is your eye color
Green, currently. For some reason they keep changing. I was born with bright blue eyes - I'm talking Luke Hemmings bright blue eyes, maybe even lighter. Then as a child they changed to green. I used to love my light green eyes, but then they got darker. Now they seem to be green but turning grey-ish as well
8. Scary movies or happy endings
Happy endings. Duh
9. Any talents?
I am the insecure type of person who would say no, but I know I'd get people to say 'no you're a talented writer', so I'm gonna go ahead and say writing
10. Where were you born
Look, the Netherlands is a small country, so I'm not gonna say the town. But I will say it was in the province Friesland (Frisia/Fryslân) and in a big town (Frisian standards) that would’ve been a city if city rights still existed in my country. Oh and it's pretty known in the sports world.
11. What are your hobbies?
Writing, reading, watching shows, listening to music, play the sims. Oh and sleeping.

My cat and she is the love of my life. Idk how I will live once I move out because chances are I can't take her with me

I haven't really measured since I was 16, but I think around 168 cm.
14. Favorite subject in school?
I'd say English - it's different than the English classes in the US and UK - but tbh it was pretty boring because I was always levels ahead of my class. In the end, I loved social science a lot.

Published author. But it doesn't pay shit in my country. Also, I can't travel and most book deals require you to be willing to travel for promotions in the Netherlands and Belgium
So I guess the next best thing would be anything to do with English. Maybe translating work like books or subtitles for shows because those are never accurate here.

the only reason i read so many books this year was bc i listened to a lot of audio books on the commute to work nd while i was working @ my 2nd job so i'm hoping i can find smth that'll give me that opportunity in the new year.
that being said, here's what i'm for sure planning on rn (i was JUST compiling a list a few days ago so this is good right shdjfnf):

Sorry you've probably addressed this before but I'm honestly dying to know what your impression of the movie was without having seen the show first? Were there things that you felt lost by or did you just vibe with it regardless? I binge watched the show just before the movie came out but honestly kinda wish I went in cold!
i haven't much!!
so i saw it with my mom, who did see the series, like, as it was airing. so now i know more about it than she does lol
i'm gonna be completely honest, the movie made like no goddamn sense to me at all.
like, the plot was ok to follow but character wise i could not keep track of them all. and for that reason i don't think it stands alone — i knew what was going on but they didn't do an excellent job of establishing who these people were and why i should care (having since seen the series this straight up could have been like, idk, 2017 special event christmas special given how it carries on)
the only character plotline i was fully on track with from the get go was edith & bertie's, actually. understood that from start to finish which was nice. did i know their names, no, but i knew what was happening and how i was meant to feel about it. also laura carmichael is gorgeous
only names i knew walking out were..... tom (branson) and (thomas) barrow. my mother informed me the latter was also thomas. and i liked daisy for her political apathy even if i thought her love subplot was wonk? which oh i was able to follow that but only bc it was extremely formulaic ajdjd. but i didnt know her name leaving the cinema
carson coming in seemed really weird snjfkd i was like WHO IS THIS GARDENER MAN
i had no clue who thomas was or felt any reason to follow him until webster was like You Know You Want To and i was like. my jaw literally dropped
so, thomas's plotline i obviously started to pay big attention to from there on out and i uhhhh literally starting crying when he walked in and had the never seen anything like it line because that's like. you don't need to know shit about downton abbey to be affected by that if you're gay and have a modicum of historical / sociocultural awareness.
i spent most of the movie trying to remember who was who in the beginning and matching them up with who was in the scene i was watching?
uhh the social class themes were fucking insufferable, i rolled my eyes like every time anna or mary opened their mouths. and for this reason i walked out and spent the next day and a half like, ok i like the irish guy, the gay guy, and the kitchen girl, i doubt i'll bother watching the show, and AS WE ALL KNOW
that isnt quite what happened
i have my chrono tag linked in my bio which i've been told is an adventure
my mom sort of explained some things to me as we left and i remember she was like, it didn't really stand alone and there are some things that mean more when you know the series, and then she got all julia roberts mom on me and was like Thomas, The Gay One, Attempted Suicide and it took everything i had not to be like. mom his plotline makes sense to me without knowing that.
also i really liked tom branson and then watching the series he was just meh. actually? the way everyone has told me like, oh you saw good thomas first that must have made the series feel different!
i actually feel that way about branson ajfjfkdk bc i expected to like him and then i like, didn't til about s5-s6
but yeah no i'm a character driven audience member and i really felt lost on that front.
moooost of my problems were resolved when i saw it the 2nd time, but that time it was sort of still like. wow some of these people are blink and you miss it. like i had no fucking clue who bates was walking out the first time because he didn't do literally anything (not that i am complaining)
also sjfjdj watching it a 2nd time and being like oh the hallboy wasnt in the series huh
i would like to say that i wouldnt have watched the series if i hadnt seen the film already, like i know for a fact i never would have intentionally, but if like, a friend sat me down and made me sit through episode one, i would have had the exact same reaction i did about halfway through the movie
that reaction being, WHAT, there's a GAY ONE, SUDDENLY I CARE
so starting and ending your series with gay action is how you draw me in hook line and sinker is the moral of the story here!

One:
tell me the first song that made you stan your current fave group and why did your faves attract you so much?
ok SO the song that probably got me into rv 100% (also yes ik this blog is 99% nct but rv is my forever fave no question) was probably ice cream cake!! i had been a casual listener of many groups up until that point and had never really stanned anyone, but icc was so infectious i found myself watching it over and over. i had heard happiness and be natural before but hadn’t really listened too closely, so icc was the song that captured me. after that, dumb dumb only cemented my love for them more, and the red is still one of my favorite kpop albums to date. rv attracted me primarily because of their incredible vocals and their versatility in genres and concepts. i still get so excited wondering what they’ll tackle next!! they’re just soooo unique and have one of, if not the best discographies of any group. i cannot stress enough, I. Love. RV!! also they’re funny and gay so. anyway stream monster once it drops uwu

1. what is your favorite song that’s been released during quarantine?
ooooo honestly??? probably something off of Sawayama. literally every song bangs so hard i highly recommend that album to anyone!! i can’t pick a favorite off it but who’s gonna save you now is awesome and xs is just,,, chef’s kiss
2. what is your greatest mishap when you tried cooking? (or something you’ve witnessed)
one time, while making soup at my late grandmother’s house on her like gas stove, i put a lid on a pot and somehow that led the pot to be engulfed in flames. IN MY DEFENSE i was like 7, and i’m great at cooking/baking now
3. what’s your go-to outfit or article of clothing?
oh i love a nice dress. they can be casual or formal, and you look like you put effort into your outfit except i didn’t because i didn’t have to match anything yo!!!! also shorts have trouble fitting me cause i’m a weird body type so dresses tend to be very comfy for me
4. what is your comfort food?
am i allowed to say like all food??? eating in itself is comforting,,, that sounds depressing but also i just like eating yummy food. i guess i’d say like my dad’s fried rice?? its my fave and no one makes it like him soooo
5. what singular moment in your life would you like to relive?
i couldn’t tell if this meant like, a good moment you want to re-experience or go back in time and redo a moment and fix it. it’s kind of a hard question so i might cop out and go with a bit of a silly answer: i want to relive the hi touch with astro...... i wanna look at rocky’s beautiful eyes and touch moonbin’s hand ok,,,,
6. what is your favorite line and/or character from a movie, show, or book?
i got a bunch but a few off the top of my head are genie lo (the epic crush of genie lo), ty lee, suki (atla), klaus, and ben (umbrella academy)
7. if you could only choose one ice cream flavor and pizza topping/style for the rest of your life, what would it be?
ice cream flavor: this very specific one from a local store that is banana ice cream with strawberries and oreo mixed in. it is heaaaavenly. as for pizza topping, i love a breakfast type pizza with an egg on top and like sausage and stuff!!!
8. what is the worst injury you’ve ever had or witnessed?
funny enough, i’ve actually gotten badly injured quite a few times, and always on the face!! god hates me. the worst was probably when i hit a metal bench with my face and it took a chunk out of my cheek. i still have the scar! as for “witnessed” i accidentally broke a grown man’s rib once as a child, so i guess that would count.
9. would you rather explore the unknown of space or the bottom of the ocean?
oceaaaan!! i answered this in some other game, but i like how mysterious and yet close the ocean is. like proximity wise it’s so near, yet there’s an insane amount we know nothing about. that’s so frightening but so intriguing
10. if you could be any cartoon character, who would you be?
my first thought was literally “kirby. eat fast” GOD my followers are gonna think i’m just a glutton and they’re not even gonna be wrong im dying. but uhh idk mulan or smth?
