He would take care of his own needs when he's seen to the men, though. And Ed. And... Stede.

"Not now, Stede, I have to-" and then he stills, hand still in his hair. His eyes shift to Bonnet, wide with surprise. Stede was swearing at him?

No, not at him. About putting himself in danger. Which, actually, was his fucking job, Stede. Which Ed understood. Ed wouldn't yell at him in front of the fucking crew about being careful--

Stede was worried about him. His cheeks flushed hot, and he took a sharp breath, forcing himself to sheath his sword. To look down at his own hands so he's not looking at Stede.

"M'alright, Bonnet," he answers, voice a little gruffer than normal. "Wasn't but a little skirmish, and the day my life is at risk from useless fucks like that, s'the day I stop bein a pirate."

Oh yeah definitely, he’s not very good at reading rooms and often times find himself saying/doing things he definitely shouldn’t be doing for that moment. Mostly it’s a comic-relief sorta thing but also just him genuinely not knowing and often will feel bad for it later even though he can’t help it-

plus with flirting? Someone ACTUALLY liking him and flirting with him? Will go over his head straight up LMAO he will just think “wow! This person is so friendly and cool!” Not realizing they are trying so hard to make it as obvious as possible (without directly saying it) that they like him-

what should the starting point be for someone who wants to get into milgram

Here is a very cute n simple slideshow that covers the basics on what milgram actually is and an overview of whats happened so far!

Pretty much all milgram content is on the milgram youtube channel! Except for the voice dramas and cover songs which are uploaded on spotify (though they're usually reuploaded onto youtube and niconico anyway so dw if you don't have it), interrogation questions which are uploaded onto the app and twitter, and all voting takes place on the website!

hypothetical struggle between Christianity and paganism in bbc merlin? 👀 one that's very neurodivergent? 👀 do tell

Okay, so Athurian times take place in the early dark ages. Which was probably a weird time for religion in Britain. Because the Roman occupation had just come to an end, leaving behind the structure of catholicism at least with those in positions of power. But religious beliefs were still in the process of blending together with the local practices and other religions, leading to some odd gnostic beliefs. Obviously, bbc merlin doesn't talk about Christianity within Camelot but I think we can assume the catholic church would have a position at the round table. Presumably, Arthur would grow up instructed in catholic belief, go to mass, and have bishops or whatever advising him. He would rule by Devine right, sanctioned by the pope and magic would be characterized as demonic. And that somehow raises the stakes for me, imaging magical merlin within the walls of a very catholic Camelot.

I just have this image of merlin in the back of a cathedral as Arthur attends mass. Kneeling in this beautiful building, head bowed low as the congregation sings praise to a foreign God in a foreign tongue. A God that would apparently have merlin tied to a stake and burned alive. And merlin choking out his empty prayers, echoing in the verbal praise under the isolation of his nonbelief and magical association. Full of fear and venom.

The hypothetical struggle I imagine is one of catholic enforcement pushed by Arthur's religious advisors and Arthur's morality. Because Arthur is a good person and slaughtering a people on the basis religion is insane. So, what does it mean for Arthur if he stops listening to his advisors and starts accepting magic? He has to contend with a spiritual struggle, not just the secular issues presented in the show. And I would looooooove to watch that. The bending of Arthur's beliefs into something more flexible and less rigidly Christian according to the church of the time

Ai adventures with yours truly: day 90- We are not gunna talk about the “uno reverse” arc, or the “tea shop” arc-

ive been meaning to post this hc but i keep forgetting BUT. it also deals with my blog's canon but. lucifer and lilith are not divorced. in this verse, lilith disappeared. its unknown how, lucifer doesn't know where she is either. this wasn't a random thing either, she had left on one of her outings and simply never returned. its one of the reasons lucifer became so depressed and detached from charlie. he hated himself for not going and being there with her. and out of anger, locked himself away to keep himself from losing charlie too. which obv wasn't the best way to go about things and absolutely backfired. though he still tried to keep in touch with not only charlie but sebastian at that point via phone calls. he became a complete shut in. HOWEVER, charlie is unaware of this. charlie fully believes her parents are divorced but still in a sense together to keep things from basically blowing up. they just do their own thing. lucifer hasnt told charlie the truth up to this point. the only one who knows abt lilith's disappearance is Sebastian.
