I just think that Audrey Horne seeing Leland Palmer dance and recognizing someone so unwell and in need of care while the rest of the room mimics his manic gestures as a silly dance. And her crying in the corner. And being recognized immediately after by Dale Cooper as someone unwell and in need of care.

Audrey Horne seeing all the ugliness in the world around her and not really taking anything seriously, except figuring out exactly how the other girl who saw all the ugliness died, and how it must’ve felt. Audrey Horne drawn like a moth to a flame to corruption, just as Laura Palmer was, reckless in her pursuit of the truth because she doesn’t care if she gets burned, even wants to know how it feels…

#this book i read was written mostly in conversation between a swede and this woman with a heavy norwegian dialect and i managed to read #like 30 pages before giving up #i just can’t #i’m watching twin peaks s1 e1 and this guy at that cabin is translating to norwegian for some businessmen #my head hurts #also bear in mind this is preppy 80/90-norwegian #i don’t know who to listen to #it’s a bad translation too omg

Watching Twin Peaks for the first time right now...

thanks to a follower’s recommendation, and I’m finding it really interesting. Definitely nails small-town weirdness. Still watching the pilot now, really want to live blog it. My money as of about halfway through this pilot is on Bobby, but that seems way too obvious. Though this discovery of a key in her journal could be indicative of someone else.
