Guess who's back lmao. I had another idea and you're one of my favourite twdg writers so I came back. First up, take as long as you need on this, attend to any requests that came before mine before feeling the need to write this.
(Twdg season 1)
You know how after the Motel is attacked, Lilly shoots Carley/Doug? (S1) What if there was like a young pre-teen/teen reader (say, somewhere from 11 to 13.) and whoever Lilly aimed for, she either accidentally missed or the reader protected carley/doug, and the bullet hit the reader in the shoulder/arm (so not fatal just a bit like "bruh"). What would the reactions of the motel gang be? taking into consideration Lilly just shot a literal child 🤣
(I'm sorry if this is oddly specific but I had the idea with it and in your rules you asked for as much specification as possible) if any of this doesn't make sense feel free to ask me because I kind of rambled lmao. TWDG season 1 group reacting to Lily shooting (but not killing!) a preteen!reader
Lee
To say this man was pissed was an understatement
He didn’t care if Lilly meant it for someone else 1. There was no need to shoot an innocent person and 2. You just fucking shot a kid!
Idc what way you played with part wether you let her stay or no there is no was lee would let her come with you guys after that
After kicking Lilly to the curb he’d go back to you and gently carry you back to the RV before finding anything he can to patch you up
He’s so stressed and annoyed!
He wishes he could’ve gone back in time and changed it
He will fully take care of you till you make a full recovery!
He’d go through hell and back to get any medical supplies you need too<3
Kenny
He too was so pissed!
Like he’s shouting and screaming at Lilly
It’s by gods mercy that he didn’t shoot her
He tells everyone to help you get inside and find anything to stop the bleeding
I don’t have to say this because it’s obvious but he’s not letting her come with the group
As you all drive away he keeps shouting and cursing
It’s not very helpful but it’s all he can really do
Katjaa keeps telling him to calm down but yk that’s not gonna happen
He keeps a close eye on you while you recover and he gets a little (a fucking lot) over protective of you
Katjaa
She wasn’t there too see you get shot but as soon as she heard the gun shot she panicked
She put duck down in a chair and told him to stay calm and not too look
Once she saw you she started tearing up
She felt so bad for you!
She’d tell everyone to keep calm as she tried to bandage your wounds
She’d be at your side 100% of the time and would make sure your as comfortable as you can be
Duck
He also didn’t see everything go down but this kid was so upset
You where one of his best friends (mainly because there where only two other kids in the group, one being you) and he was you you bleeding and in so much pain!
He was already bit and seeing you shot made it so much worse :(
He was willing to share any supplies you needed to help you recover btw!
He’d do anything for his amazing best friend!
He couldn’t really help you out at all or even take your mind of it because he was too sick to do anything
But he’d use any energy he did have to ask if your ok or make a silly joke <:)
Clementine
She was traumatised oml
She saw her best friend get shot
She screamed and burst out into tears!
Lee told her to closer her eyes and not look at you while they patched you up, but she didn’t want to leave your side
So she stood in a place where you could see her and closed her eyes, every so often taking a peek and giving you a sympathetic smile
After you got bandaged up she’s stay by you and got you whatever you wanted
This one time the group stopped off to get some supplies are they came back to see her routing threw all the cupboards
“What are you doing, clem?” -group member
“I’m trying to find a snack for (name)! They wanted one :(“
Lilly
She felt so bad!
She didn’t mean to shoot you!
She totally froze, unable to say or do anything
Before the group forced her to leave and everyone inside she gave you one final look of worry and regret
She knew that leaving the group was the best thing for them and she wishes that you survive the shooting
That always sticks with her, the guilt may of died down after a few years but the memory never leaves
She always stills wonders if you made it
And if you wanna drag this idea to season 4 she will definitely bring it up to clem
Doug
He totally freaked!
He felt so bad!
That bullet was meant for him (and ben) and yet you got shot :(
The guilt he felt was something he was never going to live down.
This man would risk death to get you any supplies you need for your recovery, it’s the least he can do.
It’s so obvious he feels bad like when Katjaa was patching you up he couldn’t look at you for more than a second
After your recovery he tries and shows you how grateful he is!
He’d either tell you that you where one brave kid and he’s very thankful for that
And/or he’d find you some old teddy that he’d think you’d like!
Carley
Like Doug she felt so bad!
She was shocked at first but then anger took over and she started screaming at Lilly
She helped you get inside and find anything to patch you up
All the time ever during your recovery you could hear her angrily shit talking Lilly for what she did to you
Like Doug, she was obviously a little guilty and would tell you that she was grateful of what you did but she wouldn’t let the guilt consume her forever
But she’s always looking out for you now more than ever
Ben
This poor dude was too shocked to do anything!
He just watched in horror
This was all because of him (and Lilly) but he felt so much guilt!
He never stopped feeling guilty
He doesn’t know what to do at all
He does get you anything you need!
But he just can’t look at you :(
It probably takes him a good few months just to be able to look at you
The only thing you can really get out of him is
“…so uh how are you?”
He just don’t know what to do he wishes he could just go back and stop all of this

Hey! Thanks for doing the S1 request! ❤️ Could you write headcanons about adult reader confessing their love to S1 characters and how they’d react?
awe this is gonna be so cute!! I’m only gonna do characters that have been semi-regular within the season just to keep things simple. I’m also gonna use the characters that are single (but let me know if you want the others!!)
Lee: Lee’s eyes widened. He glanced from side and side, wondering if it was a prank, or if they were speaking to someone else. “Really?” He asked softly, his voice barely a whisper. He was shocked, but thrilled. He was always bad at showing the latter, though. He blinked nervously, shoving his hands into his pockets. “That’s, uh,” he cleared his throat. “Wow.” He was truly rendered speechless.
Doug: Doug’s eyes widened. Immediately, his cheeks and ears flushed. He glanced around, as if worried it was a prank. “Me?” His hands folded in front of him, twiddling his thumbs nervously. “Are you sure?” He seemed nervous, as if he didn’t fully believe them. “Why? Why me?” He always seemed so shy, so insecure within himself, but he was the sweetest person Y/N knew. “Of course,” was all they could think to say. The coloring in his face and ears grew deeper. “Wow,” he breathed, stunned and excited.
Carley: Carley froze in the midst of stirring the food she was about to eat. Her gaze slowly dragged over to Y/N, too stunned to speak. She pointed to herself silently and looked around, wondering if they were speaking to someone else. Slowly, she set her food down. “Me?” She hushed, “really?” Slowly, a smile crept over her face. She picked up her food, smiling giddily into it. “Maybe we’ll have to do something about that then.”
Lilly: Lilly was holding her gun, pausing from her supervision over the Motor Inn, when Y/N approached him. Her eyes widened, she glanced from side to side, ensuring no one else was listening, and pulled them aside. “You better not be joking.” She threatened, her grip on her gun tightening. “I’m not?” Y/N said, feeling concerned. They lifted their hands up, as if obeying. “Really, I’m interested in you.” Lilly glanced around again, ensuring no one was putting her up to a prank. Finally, she sighed. “Come to my room at 9. I’m off then.” Before she turned away, Y/N could see the red in her cheeks.
Ben: Ben immediately became flushed. His ears, cheeks, and neck turned into a bright pink. “What?” His hands nervously fiddled together, fingers folding in on themselves. “You’ve gotta be kidding,” he paused, “right?” He seemed stunned - shocked - that someone even had the thought of liking him. He gulped, rubbing his neck and looking away. “Maybe,” he cleared his throat and twiddled his thumbs. “Maybe we can talk later? Somewhere, uh, private?” Y/N was thrilled, and based on his smile, they knew he was too.
Molly: Molly choked on the water she was drinking when they confessed, clasping a hand over her mouth. She froze, slowly turning her gaze to them. “You’re kidding,” she paused, waiting for them to respond. She pointed to herself and chuckled. “Me? Really?” Molly went to giggle again until she noticed their sincere stare. Suddenly, her ears flushed red. She turned away before they could see the rising heat in her neck. She cleared her throat. “Uh, cool, yeah. Awesome.” She was so horrible with situations like this.

He empathises with you a lot since he kinda sees himself in you
And he will always be there helping you out and giving you advice if you needed it
He will also look out for you kid! Yk that part when he has to choose who to give rations to? Yeah well you and yer kid r defo getting some food <3!
He’d relate to you a lot and you’d both talk about how stressful it can be but it’s totally rewarding as you both love yer little guys!
This man is always on your side no matter what he has full trust in you and he’s glad to know that your child is in safe hands!
Kenny
This man really loves you and your kid!
He’s always nice to you (and as long as your loyal and treat him with equal amount of respect) he’s always on your side backing you up
If anyone questions wether or not you old enough to take care of a kid he will be right by your side biting their head off!
He’d encourage duck to spend time with your kid and warn him not to be too energetic especially at first lmao
Your most definitely ok to come with him and his family in the caravan if things go to shit :D
Katjaa
This gorgeous soul truly empathised with you
She would always be there if you needed advice or just someone to talk too!
She’d also encourage duck to hang out with your kid and she’d have to remind him to try and chill out about around them lmao

Duck was super exited when you and your kid showed up!
It was two new ppl to hang out with!
He can be a bit much at times, always asking you two questions and trying to get your kid to play with him but he means well!
He thinks your a totally awesome role model so he has a lot of respect for you! Especially if you where cool or was willing to play with him and yer kid :D
Sometimes he would get a bit nosy because he was confused, you where very young and you where looking after a kid??? What happened to their parents???He’d ask you about it and if it made you uncomfortable you’d get katjaa or Kenny pulling him away and apologising to you
He doesn’t really understand what’s not ok to ask <:p but I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again he does mean well lmao
Clementine
Clem really liked you and your kid!
You where like a younger version of lee in her eyes, therefore she’s trusts you a lot more!
If your kid is more like duck then she’ll be nice but won’t talk to them as much :p
However if they’re more like her in the sense that they’re more relaxed or quite then she loves hanging out with them!
She’ll always draw you two pictures!
And if you ever needed a brake to just relax she’d drag your kid of to go and draw with her!
Larry
(This man is so fucking scray oml 😭😭😭😭)
He’s a pretty serious, grumpy guy and he’s super intimidating so your kid (and you) probably tried to avoid him at first
However even if he didn’t show it he would look out for you kid!
Sometimes he was a bit suspicious and doubted wether such a young person could look after a child in a world like this:(
But he lets you be (unless he gets really mad and he’ll bring it up :p)
But deep, deep down in that stone cold heart he does want you and your kid to be safe and he feels low key sorry that all this shit happened
Lilly
She always looked out for you and your kid
She’d make sure your child (and if they had enough you) had some food when it came time to ration food
Also if yer child has longer hair you can bet she’d give them some hair bobbles! :D
She also always made small talk to your child she wanted to make sure that they where as happy as they could be in an apocalypse
She would also be there if you needed advice or to vent, her advice can be a bit honest and sometimes hard to hear but it’s pretty helpful tbh!
Doug
His man, like Carley, was never really good with kids
He would always back you up tho and he would always be there if you wanted someone to talk too
He would do anything in his power to make you and your kid feel safe!
I’m sorry but all that’s running through my brain is
“Hey, (kids name)! You want some batteries? :D”
He will try his best to keep you two happy!
Carley
(confession time, I’ve never played her route so I know f all about her)
She’s never really been good with kids tbh
She’s always been nice to them but she never really knows what to do with them
That being said she will always be nice to your kid!
And she really respects how capable you are for taking care of a child!
She truly does admire you for that
She will also go easy on you but will remind you to be strong and to put yourself and your kid first!
Ben
This man does understand you
I mean he’s your age and he did have a younger sibling!
But this man is no help I’m so sorry 😭
Like he wants to help you in anyway he can!
