tsunade. my best friend in the whole wide world. i knew i was going to love her before she showed up and i was completely and entirely vindicated shes an icon shes a legend she is the moment. theres not a single thing i dont love about her shes seriously one of the greatest characters of all time in any media ever everybody WISHES they had tsunade. shes like srsly so important to me and like okay the thing with a lot of "feminist" characters in a lot of media/fandom is that people assume that in order to make a feminist female character she has to be #feminism #girlboss #queen etc and cant lose at anything and Totally Owns The Boys With GIRL POWER ! but tsunade sucks at gambling and summons a giant slug (which im aware comes from the story she & jiraiya & orochimaru come from but in any other media she'd get something traditionally Badass tm like a wolf or something but no she gets a GIANT SLUG) and is more than happy to throw hands with an annoying 12 year old and gets drunk on the regular and has an obscene amount of debt on her hands and her pet is a pig but is absolutely able to hold her own and gets to be hokage and do cool and epic things and is so so so everything all of the time. im srsly obsessed with her relationship with jiraiya and orochimaru like you already know this but it genuinely kind of makes me ill that in the infinite tsukuyomi despite everything he's done orochimaru is literally. HES THERE. HES THEREEEEE like srsly what if we all blew up and died. huh

her relationship with sakura is also so so good and it actually kills me we didnt get to see it explored more because like pre-timeskip sakura doesnt really have a lot of confidence and doesnt really feel like she can contribute that much because shes next to three insane powerhouses who were kind of just born like that but after spending two years with tsunade and being able to come into her own shes much much more confident and outspoken and like its very clearly tsunade's influence that got her to that point and theyre so important to me im so fr. and of course tsunades relationship w naruto is also so insanely eveyrthing as well hes litearlly her special little boy like because he mouths off to her all the time but also clearly respects her so so much and she yells at him for being a brat but also clearly does enjoy their back and forths and SHES SO EVERYTHINGGGG its seriously . the situation is dire. shes so everything to me.

Okay so let's talk about some esoteric shit, the God Tree, the Infinite Tsukuyomi tree.

Some context. One can see the influence of Japanese folklores and mythology and various other belief systems/philosophies in Kishimoto's work, the way he draws inspiration from them and adorns his own story with these symbolic and narrative elements, whether it be South or East Asian philosophy (Buddhist Hinayana philosophy, Confucian philosophy, Shinto, ancient Chinese philosophy, Bushido etc). There are inspirations from Japanese mythology (Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Totsuka blade, Kusanagi sword) and literature, such as Chikamatsu, but also one can see the influence of modern phenomena. Art forms such as superflat art, pioneered by Takashi Murakami.

Or Kishi's funny little tribute to the greatest rock artist the world ever saw, Freddie Mercury. And he IS, I won't brook any arguments there.

Or his tribute to the most iconic pugilist Mohammed Ali aka Cassius Clay, in the character of Killer Bee. He didn't even miss the famous line said by the man, who "Floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee."

So when I saw the God tree, I wondered if there was some context behind it that I didn't know about. I mean there's a hell lot of literature about trees and their significance in various cultures across the world. Whether it be Judeo- Christian mythology, South East Asian mythology, Germanic mythology or Celtic polytheism, Greek and Egyptian mythologies.

Japanese culture is no different, in fact they have a whole host of myths regarding trees, they have deep roots found in the concepts of both spirituality and doom, being considered indicators or harbingers of good or bad luck, fortune, having healing properties, and even for entertainment.

'Yokai' is a Japanese term that roughly translates into supernatural beings.

Yokai is a difficult term to translate into English and you will sometimes see it as demon, monster or goblin. However, yokai is much broader than that and encompass all manner of supernatural phenomena.

'Jubokko' is a kind of Yokai tree, its accounts have been recorded in Japanese folklores.

According to folklore, Jubokko appears in former battlefields where many people have died, and its appearance does not differ that much from ordinary trees. Since it becomes a yōkai tree by sucking up large quantities of blood from the dead, it lives on human blood. When a human being happens to pass by, it supposedly captures the victim and, changing its branches into the shape of a tube, sucks the blood out of the victim. A Jubokko that sucks life out of human beings in such a way is said to always maintain a fresh appearance.

Sound familiar? We can see how Kishi might have drawn inspiration from this phenomenon, and who wouldn't, all of it sounds scrumptious. Creepy Japanese folklores and urban legends are just amazing and bone chilling to read about. Quite a lot of fun.

You know who famously contributed to Yokai art and made it really really popular in Japan?

Hokusai.

Yep, this is the same dude who created the most iconic and recognisable set of woodblock prints to come out of Japan, known all over the world as:

'Thirty six views of Mount Fuji'.

So we can certainly see the influence and the underlying concept behind Kishi's designs. And it's not just Kishimoto, other artists have also been inspired by tree folklores. Take Miyazaki in his 'My neighbour Totoro' (I can't put in words how much I love that film) wherein Totoro is depicted as a supernatural being taking the form of a camphor tree, or Princess Mononoke, the inclusion of the concept of Kodama, tree spirits that reside in special trees in ancient forests, a concept drawn from Shintoism.

However, a few days ago, I was doing a rerun of my favourite Monty Python's movies. By the way, shout out to my fellow Monty Python fans, you guys have the best taste.

So at the time, I was watching 'Life of Brian'. And guess what I found when I was watching the credit roll.

And Monty Python has been seriously popular all over the world for over fifty years. But I couldn't reconcile the thought of the Japanese appreciating the kind of humor that Monty Python pushes. If you have seen Monty Python, you know what I mean. But I was again proven wrong, and I couldn't be happier about it.

Apparently, Monty Python has been so popular in Japan, even Eric Idle couldn't help showing up for it. Honestly, I am not really that surprised after all. Monty Python is awesome. Hell, if I were reeling from a devastating war, I would religiously watch Monty Python too.

Ah, Kishi, peeling off those layers in your manga, quite a task, but worth it, heh?

Monty Python's style of animation and art was quite revolutionary at the time it was first featured. It started as a placeholder back in the days when Monty Python Flying Circus was just taking flight on BBC, but look how far it has come. And aren't we all the better for it?

I could still be missing something, but the theory still seems quite plausible to me. And I doubt there will be many counter points to something like this. This is what I am going to believe nevertheless. I like it, I like it very much. Kishi, you got good taste. But well, we already knew that.

P.S. - This again goes to show how ridiculous the opinion is that a professional artist can write or draw something accidentally. NOTHING is accidental. It's just that YOU in all your ignorant ass glory don't know what lies underneath. Or overneath really, you guys are seriously lame. People who say shit like this have no idea, NONE, about the kind of effort and inspiration that goes into creating art. 1. Favourite thing about them

He is fucking insane in the best way! Have you ever seen someone so dramatic or iconic. He is obsessive and unhinged, and the only sane person for miles. He is completely right, but also wrong about everything. He loves it when people beat the shit out of him, and he gives off the most feral power bottom energy I've ever seen lmao! He's just sksksjsb. He's also such a complex character who is allowed to be kind and cruel, and flawed and yah just aaaahhh I have no coherent thoughts about him at this point, I just love him!

2. Least favourite thing about them

He'd be down for colonising the other great nations in the name of peace. His entire philosophy is become so powerful that you can force people to submit to peace. I understand if there is a 100% guaranteed plan where true ever lasting peace can be achieved, but that's not the case with politics, and yh I don't need to explain why forcefully occupying other nations is bad lol. Also it's not his fault but he's kind of dumb. The Infinite Tsukuyomi plan is so short sighted, like how is humanity supposed to reproduce and survive for starters. It would have been more interesting if he took away people's free will and forced them under his peace that way.

5. OTP

For the record I don't ship him with anyone romantically, and I do prefer this ship to be on some level of platonic. But Hashimada! They have a bond that transcends definition. I'd call them soulmates but that doesn't quite capture it. The star-crossed tragedy of it all gets me ngl. I do think their bond holds more depth and value if it's not romantic, because having attraction thrown into the mix waters it down. Having no other reason to feel as strongly and be as selfish as they are about each other, than the simple fact that the other person sees and shares their dream. (And when they choose not to be selfish it's even more tragic).

But I also think it's hilarious if Madara is living out this unrequited romeo and juliet narrative, acting like some scorned lover, while Hashirama is just like you are my best friend, you are my gift from the divine, you are half of my soul. And Madara thinks he doesn't care as much because he doesn't want him romantically (or what he perceives to be romantically) lmao. Clowns (affectionate).

Also they have good sexual chemistry, and they give me big platonic life partner vibes. But also that whole thing where they have sex, and while it is about attraction, it's less about romance and more about companionship. Maybe I'm biast about the whole anti romance thing lol, but that is peak Hashimada content for me and I will eat it up like nothing else!

But no this ship makes no sense to me, I don't enjoy their chemistry in any way shape or form, and whenever I come across it I feel physically sick. I hate everything about it. The relationship I think is most important to Madara (and that I care most about) is his relationship with Izuna. Izuna is also my favourite character, and it physically pains me to even think about Madara so much as considering spitting on his brother’s memory like that. I just can't. I do get why people ship it tho, and all the people who do ship it that I've interacted with are all so lovely!💖 I just personally cannot stomach it.

(Also Madara is entirely obsessed with Hashirama, I can't fathom in what circumstance he'd ever settle for his brother's murderer instead).

7. Random headcannon

He is immune from fire of all kind. As a kid he'd probably crawl into fireplaces because it's warm and toasty lol. He also sets himself on fire if he can't be asked to wash himself, rationalising that that's how you sanitise shit! (Izuna is embarrassed to be related to him sometimes lmao).

Yonaga Clan

The Yonaga Clan is another one of the ancient hero families who have been around since the dawn of heroics-- underground heroics being their specialty. They are of Afro-Asian descent. The clan are descendents of the first Nox and as such carry the Quirk Tsukuyomi in their blood.

How the clan is run is that when a member comes of a certain age (usually late 30s to early or mid 40s), they are called to join the inner clan. The inner clan is made up of the older, more elite Yonaga members and from there they oversee the daily life of the other members, business affairs, and more.

Like any other family, their trademark feature is that they look like cosmic entities.

History

During the early days of heroics when people like Mother Nature and Susanoo basked in the sun, there were so few heroes who operated at night much less did underground work. Enter Nox I, who wanted to deviate from his peers and forge his own path. As a result, he did underground heroics and is considered the father of the branch.

Nox I operated at night, which was useful considering his Quirk. As time went on, he became a legendary figure in the rising underground scene and even after his death he remained an icon for all future underground heroes.

It would be his son, Nox II, who would establish the Yonaga clan. He knew that their name was legendary in the branch and that this was the kind of heroics meant for them, even seeing it as a birthright.

Notable Members

Umeji Yonaga | Nox XI: Umeji is the son of the previous Nox, Nox X, and the father of Kureko Yonaga (who will become Nox XII). Having fully recovered from the tragic suicide of his previous wife Suki, he turns his attention to his hero career and taking care of his son. Later on in the continuity, he remarries Stellara (Hoshimi Sorakami) and eventually fathers two children with her in addition to her children from her previous marriage.

Kurobi Yonaga | Nocturne: Kurobi is Umeji's sister. She operates in America due to how much she's been compared to her brother growing up (which annoys her to no end).

Kureko Yonaga: He is the son of Nox XI and the late Suki Yonaga. Kureko is 11 years old and is currently being homeschooled by a tutor the family hired. In the future, he will become Nox XII, succeeding his father.

Trivia

Yonaga, the family name, means "long night". Fitting to their nighttime Quirks and nighttime operations.

Nox I never operated in a proper agency, instead doing so in a clock tower that would later by passed down to the next Nox.

The Yonaga clan is the first family to have a hero name that is passed down as a title.

Most of the members married either Black people or other Blasians to keep up their lineage pure.

I prefer to write multi-paragraph to novella sized threads. One liners are usually reserved for quick but light interactions, if you are wondering how to start a thread, simply send in a prompt or like the starter calls / inbox calls. You will see them liberally throughout the blog as I strive to interact with everyone. 

I use a mixture of different anime FCs, this muse interchanges her face constantly, but I do have one main FC. You are not allowed to use me as a source for muses, icons, ect. Failure to oblige results in a softblock, furthermore, if all you do is constantly reblog aesthetics I will part ways as it shows no engagement whatsoever. Inspiration is fine, but after awhile, if our blogs are aligning too much I start to feel uncomfortable.

The story I write is solely for artistic expression, various mentions of canons, npcs, ect are present. If you do not subscribe to canon x oc shipping, that's great! Though, it will be mentioned quite often that Sayuri harbors romantic affections for particular canon characters. This isn't to force ship or demand that this be written with her, it's merely to streamline a concrete story that moves from beginning, middle, to end. If you want to write these topics, all the better, if not and you're merely here to enjoy content, great! Please don't ever think the canon story that is placed before you is something you must adhere to, it's solely an interpretation belonging to Sayuri.

Kamen Rider

This year I completed 5 Kamen Rider series: Drive, Ghost, Ex-Aid, Zi-O, and Zero-One!

Kamen Rider Zi-O (Dec. 2021 -> Jan. 2022)

Started the year with an ending haha. Out of the 5 series I watched, this was the one that took me the longest to complete. At the time, I had only watched Wizard, Den-O and Build, so I didn't understand every reference in the show. I honestly wonder if that makes a difference. On one hand, I couldn't be mad at the show if they botched a "tribute" cause I didn't know any better, but on the other, maybe I would've enjoyed it more/been more motivated to watch if I knew more of the returning characters. Overall, I enjoyed the series. I thought it was very fun, even if it didn't necessarily stick to it's own mechanics (which in of itself is a huge flaw, but that's discussion for another day) and it's slow decent into a Decade AU™. I love Woz, and the main 4 group is one of my favorites. The 0.5 episodes we're also gold, I loved the self-reference humor. As for things I wish it did differently, definitely making Tsukuyomi a rider earlier. And I didn't particularly enjoy the final episodes (although that could've been because I stayed up until 4AM and had work at 8AM).

Kamen Rider Drive (Jan. 2022)

Inspired by the 2018 hit Kamen Rider Zi-O I decided to watch Drive not to long after. It wasn't really a season on my radar, but I was intrigued by Chase. Initially, I did enjoy it, even though the first 12-ish episodes did drag at times. But after Gou comes and especially the 001 arc, it got way better. Looking back on it now, while I still like it, I don't like it as much as I did when I first watched it. It's solid, but I wouldn't say any character stuck out to me or with me once I finished. Similar to Zi-O, I wish they made Kiriko a rider. I'd argue, she potentially could've made a more interesting main than Shinnosuke, given her relationship to the villains (creator). Maybe could've gotten an interesting family dynamic out of it.

Kamen Rider Ghost (Jan. 2022 -> Feb. 2022)

A more polarizing entry (on twitter anyways). I wasn't really going in with any expectations good or bad. The first 11 episodes were hard for me to get through, but after that, the show does get a flow going and became easier to watch. Similar to Drive, none of the characters particularly stood out (except Alain) for me, but I liked the supporting cast of Ghost better than Drive. I wish they did a bit more with Makoto because (at least concerning the show, no extras) he just feels like he's there. Sure, he has a connection to the other two riders, but he himself never does much besides look out for Kanon or the others. (Maybe he did more than I remember, but I haven't rewatched. I do think his V-Cinema delve more into his character, so maybe I'll get around to watching it). I liked Alain's arc the most, him and Ms. Fumi were iconic and episode 30/31 made me so sad (I cried at work). And Takeru was a fine protagonist. The only thing I didn't really like was how they killed him off 3 times (4 counting Heisei Gen.)

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (Feb. 2022)

I did not go into this series expecting the impact it would have on me. The main reason I watched it was to finish out the second half of Phase 2 (Drive -> Zi-O) before Zero-One. Honestly, while this is the series out of this list I rewatched the most episodes of, I don't particularly love it. Coming off of Ghost, the beginning of Ex-Aid was really refreshing, and I liked the conflict and connections between the 4 riders. It started falling off for me once Parad became a rider and the introduction of Masamune. I really don't know why I dislike Parad, every time he's was on screen I just got annoyed. And then I didn't like what happened during the finale. But with the bad was good, ie: my namesake. I really don't know why I loved Hiiro and Taiga as much as I did at the time. In a sense, I think I related to certain parts of their respective personalities (which is probably not good...), but otherwise it wasn't like their characters storyline took off until the mid-30's of a 45 episode show. In retrospect, while it it a bit rushed given the timeframe of the show, their story was still really compelling to me. I haven't talked much about V-Cinemas and extra content (mainly cause they're mostly harmless but not much to talk about), but allegedly Ex-Aid only got 45 episodes so they could get the V-Cin. trilogy, and boy do I hate that because the Brave and Snipe V-Cinema was bad. Surprisingly, it didn't hit until my spontaneous rewatch where I realized how dirty it did the characters. In short, Ex-Aid: High-Highs but Low-Lows

Kamen Rider Zero-One (Apr. 2022)

The final series I watched before never finishing a series until this month. Similar to Ex-Aid, I think Zero-One has some really good highs (some of my favorite characters and moments from the franchise), and really bad lows. The writing of Zero-One (in terms of implications) isn't the best, and even arcs were pretty hit or miss. Like a lot of people talk about how the job wars arc was drawn out, and initially I disagreed because I didn't find it that terrible, but thinking back to it, I remember making a post that was like "the most interesting thing about the past 10 episodes was that Fuwa had a chip in his head" so I guess there wasn't plot development. I liked how a lot of the early episode felt like a tour of the town Aruto lives in and we get to meet people (workers) in the community, almost like a carrer fair. Looking at the episodes in a vacuum, I think they're quite nice. I really liked Metsuboujinrai, probably my favorite villain group. At first I thought Horobi saying Jin was his child was going to be a throw away line or like resolved relatively quickly, but it wasn't. The reveal that Horobi was a father-type humagear, and in the final episodes where he slowly was coming to terms about caring for Jin are some of my favorite moments. In episode 42 (?) when Jin sacrificed himself, even though I knew what was coming (the whole "your the only father I ever had" line), I still cried so much during the scene. It was very well done. Ikazuchi and Naki were good support characters, I'm glad each of them have some funny/iconic/good scenes. I wish they had done more with Yua outside of Gai. I feel like Gai gets more to do than her despite her being the tertiary introduced in episode 3. The whole chip in Fuwa's head thing was also weird (I don't have the words to explain it right now). I liked that Fuwa liked Aruto's jokes because their similar to the ones his dad made. I think Aruto is an interesting character to be the main, it's kind of weird he was just thrown into the company, and a bunch of other things I'm going to leave for another day. I don't think Gai needed a redemption arc, but I teared up when he got Thouser back. (Wow I had a lot to say)

2. Super Sentai

I didn't watch that much Sentai this year, and only completed 2: Seijuu Sentai Gingaman and Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger

Seijuu Sentai Gingaman (~May 2022)

I kind of forgot I watched this lol. Overall, it was better/more fun than I was expecting it to be.

Bakuyuu Sentai Abaranger (Nov. 2022 -> Dec. 2022)

I started this one day because no one (my teachers) decided not to show up to school. I ended up enjoying it a lot. I like the team dynamics, and it was solid at balancing silliness and seriousness. I think having the motws be made from forms of art (painting and music) was cool and made for some cool designs/abilities.

3. Ultraman

This year I finished the trifecta and watched 2 Ultraman Series: X and Orb.

Ultraman X (Aug. 2022)

I watched this for totally legit reasons…/ It was alright, but it kind of just felt like the same thing (formula) for 20 episodes. I did like the 24 hours at Xio episode and the Ginga S crossover. I also think this series had some good effects and the fact that their car turns into a jet is so funny to me.

Ultraman Orb (Sept. 2022)

I liked this series better than X. It was more interesting and I feel like there was more intrigue and a story line. The unfolding of the connection between Gai and Naomi was great and overall I liked the one episode plots

4. Power Rangers

Since I've watched most Power Rangers, I only finished the latest series this year. I sometimes forget power rangers is a tokusatsu lol.

Naruto: How Strong Was Shisui Uchiha?

The Uchiha Clan is one of the most powerful clans in the entire Naruto series. The clan was responsible for producing some of the strongest ninjas in history. The clan was feared around the world, especially during the Warring States era when all the clans fought each other. At that point, Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha together ended the ongoing fight. This led to the creation of the Hidden Leaf, and it was actually Madara Uchiha who coined the name. However, Madara soon became sad as the villagers turned their backs on him. Eventually he decided to leave the village and when he asked members of his own clan to help him, they refused.

Itachi Uchiha was one of the most powerful ninjas in the Naruto universe. He was a skilled warrior with immense power and determination. Though he was sometimes considered cold and calculating, he was also a fiercely loyal friend and brother. He was tragically killed at a young age, but his legacy lives on through the Itachi Uchiha poster.

This poster is a must-have for any fan of the Naruto series. It features a stunning image of Itachi Uchiha in his signature black cloak. The poster is printed on high-quality paper, making it a perfect addition to your collection. After leaving the village, Madara is eventually defeated by Hashirama Senju. During Hashirama's reign, the Uchiha enjoyed many privileges, but as soon as Hashirama died, Tobirama began to excommunicate the Uchiha clan. Unlike his brother, Tobirama believed that the Uchiha posed a threat and that it would be better to keep them on the outskirts of the village. This decision worked for a while, but in the long run it caused problems for the entire city. Tobirama's racist views eventually led to the massacre of the entire Uchiha clan, but were all Uchiha evils? The answer is no. Tobiram was too strict to give the clan a chance and was treated unfairly. As the series progressed, it became apparent that some of Hidden Leaf's most loyal ninjas belonged to the Uchiha clan, and one of those individuals was Shisui Uchiha.

Who was Shisui? Shisui's birth is a great mystery as almost no information is available about the members of his family. The names of his parents were never disclosed. Due to his father's poor health, Shisui had to become the main breadwinner. Shisui was unlike most Uchiha as he managed to break the curse of hatred. He was a descendant of Kagami Uchiha who faithfully served the Second Hokage. Shisui was extremely loving and not many of Naruto's characters can match his selflessness. He always tried to ensure that peace prevailed in the village. Shisui was very close to Itachi and considered him as his brother. Like Itachi, Shisui was exposed to the horrors of war from an early age. Seeing his best friend die, Shisui awakens his Mangekyou Sharingan. Shisui mastered the Sharingan, which made him a very dangerous opponent. In addition to his dojutsu, Shisui mastered the technique of body flicker. His mastery at body flicker earned him the nickname "Body Flicker's Shisui". He became famous and feared by ninjas all over the world. Danzo Shimura considered Shisui to be the strongest Uchiha of his time, which is quite a compliment because Danzo was one of the most powerful ninjas in Hidden Leaf and had seen some of the most incredible fighters in history. Since Shisui awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan, he could also use Susanoo, but he never got a chance to use it in the manga.

ultimate genjutsu Shisui's Mangekyou Sharingan gives him access to an extremely powerful genjutsu, the Kotomatsukami. It is the second strongest genjutsu in the series, with only Infinite Tsukuyomi being stronger. By using Kotoamatsukami, Shisui is able to enter the target's mind and make them work. While under the influence of this genjutsu, the target had no idea that someone else was controlling them.

Genjutsu was so iconic that Denzo decided to steal it, thinking that Shisui might also use it on Hidden Leaf Elders. Like his teacher Tobirama Senju, Danzo was deeply hated by the Uchiha clan. He could not imagine that a member of the Uchiha clan had such immense power. Unfortunately, Danzo managed to get one of Shisui's eyes, but he was never able to use it as an Uchiha.

premature end Shisui Uchiha was respected by many, but no one admired him more than Itachi Uchiha. Itachi was inspired by Shisui and his way of thinking, and the Uchiha prodigy followed the same path as Shisui. After handing over his remaining eye to Itachi, Shisui commits suicide. This incident prompts Itachi to awaken his Mangekyou Sharingan. The eye left for Itachi would prove important later in the Shisui series.

When Itachi met Naruto, the Akatsuki member placed Raven inside Naruto from Shisui's eye. Itachi programmed it to activate every time Naruto hit Sasuke and placed Sasuke under genjutsu. It was a clever idea, but Kishimoto didn't let it happen. Instead, it came in handy when Kabuto revived Itachi. Kabuto performed the rebirth of the unclean world.

When Itachi met Naruto, the crow came out and put Itachi under the genjutsu. This genjutsu was so powerful that Itachi was freed from Kabuto's orders. Under the influence of Kotomatsukami, Itachi rescues Naruto and Killer Bee from Nagato Uzumaki. After defeating Nagato, Itachi goes to Kabuto's place to undo the rebirth of the unclean world. So, in a way, Shisui helped save the entire world from destruction by giving Itachi the rest of his eye. Shisui has left behind an incredible legacy, and although most villagers don't remember his contributions, he will live on in fans' hearts forever.\
