my next generation will spend a lot of time in komorebi - a world which, despite its amazing landscape, tends to bore me to death - so, to change that, i decided to look for a few fanmade lots to brighten things up a bit. this was the result, a list of favourite lots for mt. komorebi that i now share with you.

FROM THE JOURNAL OF PRINCESS AKIRA- FALL 1542

Dear Diary,

Remind me NEVER to trust the words ‘just a nice little family dinner’ ever again! Tomorrow, the wedding celebrations for Daichi and Nadira will begin. A parade, complete with tigers and elephants will go all around the capital while our royal guests would arrive. The next day, the tea ceremony and the exchange of vows would take place and on the 3rd night we would have a grand good-bye feast, but back to night’s dinner. Nadira, her mother and brother arrived this morning and of course, all 3 were invited to the meal. But it was only Nadira who wasn’t tired from their long journey to come eat with us. At first, everything was normal, even pleasant. Then my mother said that Nadira was ‘glowing.’ My father glibly said that Nadira was pregnant. She looked at Daichi, who reminded her that the wedding was tomorrow and then Nadira admitted that she might be, but she might be. The cutlery slipped from my sweaty palms and that’s when I got my father’s unwanted attention.

What? Are you pregnant too? My father was joking but something in my face turned his mood black. Suddenly dinner was over and my father was yelling for a doctor. A hour later, after we were both examined, we were all in the sitting room, where Dr. Fang told my father, not us, not his patients, the results of what he found. Turns out that both Nadia and I are both with child! To my shock, my father hugged Daichi and was happy that his heir was having his own heir. I don’t know what came over me when I stood up.

Akira: What about me, Father?

My father turned to me, frowning.

T: What about you? Did you really think I would be happy to hear that my daughter is carrying a servant’s bastard!

His words made my blood boil! A: My child is not a bastard! I am married! The night before Sadao left to find his fortune, we went to the temple and were wed by a monk

T: You’re married?! Without my permission?! Akira, you’re not behaving like a princess. In fact, I’m beginning to think you don’t even deserve to be a princess anymore!

A: What are you going to do, Father? Drain the royal blood from me?

There was a rage in my father’s eyes that I never seen before and it frightened me.

T: That’s not a bad idea. Maybe I’ll also cut that bastard right out of you

That when Daichi stepped between us. D: Enough! Father, how can you say those things to her? You can’t dishonour Akira’s birth without dishonouring mine, your heir. Since tomorrow is the start of my wedding so I suggest we all call it a night!

But I couldn’t sleep. I went to Daichi’s room, and was surprised to see him comforting a crying Nadira. Although it was my brother who saw me first, it was his fiancée who came up and took my hands in hers.

Nadira: Akira, I’m so sorry. If I’ve known how talking about my ��glow’ would lead to so much trouble for you, I would have never allowed it

Akira: (soothing) Oh no, listen to me, nothing that happened tonight was your fault. There was no way you could have known what would happened. Don’t give it another thought. Now, let’s get you to sleep, after all, in the next 48 hours, you’ll become a princess, a wife and my new sister.

Nadia smiled, moved to go and then turned back. N: If you’re happy about the baby, then I’m happy for you

A: Thank you

Daichi: Father said a lot of things to you tonight that should have never been said. I’ll never let him hurt you, emperor or no emperor

I was thankful for his words and I knew he meant it but tonight was the 1st time I didn’t feel safe in the palace I was born in.
