#self-indulgent doodles babyyy #mostly a mix of pose studies and chibis #my fave color is green but im rly into pink lately #color palettes based on pride flags btw. except for the last doodle page #gender is like clay. its whatever i want it to be 🫶#half op vash and no op knives are so important to me #love me some relaxed/silly vw. sharing clothes or glasses #SOOOO normal about ww wearing vash's coat :DDD #and vash being comfortable enough to let his wings and feathers out around ww and not cover up his scars #also tryna come up with a name for legato-vash-midvalley trio. not even a romantic trio theyre just a couple of buffoons annoying each othe #midgatovash? legavashvalley?? as can be seen in the wip it was originally gonna be drasticduo instead of starfox but the posing was way too reverent compared to how i perceived their dynamic to be so i decided to change it to starfox because... well *gestures at whatever tf they had going on in s4*

#mine.art #lssmp #starfox #vitalasy #princezam #also some fun facts:#i made vi look like hes caressing the sword but hes actually reaching out for dead!zam's hand #normally i use the symmetry tool in the draft and just try my best to follow it later #but i really wanted zam and dead!zam's torso to be symmetrical #the flames are subz's color #i considered putting subz instead of vi but i decided against it cause they have a different dynamic compared to what i wanted for the pose #basically i would have made zam look more desperate rather than somber while subz would have been more somber instead of desperate #vi putting his hand over zams eye isnt just symbolism for the fact he tried to hide things from him #its also cause having someone put their hand on your head while reaching out for something else feels irritating and invasive lol #vi almost completely enclosing zam wasnt on purpose but i think it fits lol

#i know when i post about it i usually make it Lighthearted if not outright Memey #but oh boy. this au is dark. like - like beyond the literal meaning #imagine being abandoned by your creators without so much as a warning #one day the lights go out and thats it. no answers. no comfort. no friendly faces or explanation #show's over. curtains closed. doors locked. they're all gone #it's just waiting in a pitch black room because surely the lights will turn back on. the next day will come #but it Won't. the next day won't come. it will never come. your friends won't open their eyes again. it's just you now.#you've always had company - friends and the comfort of feeling Watched Over by something beyond your understanding #but you blinked and its gone now. it's just you. no matter what you try or what you do - its. just. you.#days and weeks and moths and years of silence and a complete lack of color #burning matches down to your fingertips just to remember what shade of yellow your fleece is #its still wrong. firelight stains the color.#slowly forgetting the sound of your friends voices and what their smiles looked like and what the memories you made with them were #what was your best friends favorite joke? what was his hotdog order? how did he laugh? he used to pose for your paintings didnt he?#you can't be sure anymore. maybe the neighborhood was always dead. maybe You're dead. how can you tell?#you don't breathe. they don't either. they used to didn't they? you never did but they used to. ...right? you hope their dreams are sweet #one of your friends starts sleepwalking. you're so happy. she hurts you. you know she didnt mean it. you're scared anyway.#you can only see with one eye now. it feels... #jic ur wondering why all of them are drawn w that same arms out legs semi open pose #do i obsessively worry about this to an unhealthy degree? yeah #do people not verbally tell me that seeing me draw the same pose over and over again is Boring or Lame or stupid or smth? yes but i get #like. stupidly anxious and start thinking about things like that which i obviously know probably isn't the case and that in actuality #no one cares about how i draw more than i do #but it's still difficult not to ruminate on thoughts of people subconsciously rolling their eyes at my art because its so plain and boring #and static and stiff and it doesnt feel lively and dynamic like the artists i aspire to be like #but then i also remember im only just starting my art journey. by this year I'll only have been drawing for 4 years. 4 YEARS.#which seems like alot honestly? especially w the progress I've made #but most; if not everyone who isn't me have spent 7+ YEARS of drawing and i remind myself that. oh #yeah! im on the same path they were #maybe they had the same issues i did #but ill get through it :) i want to experiment more this year w my art #i say that but i need to COMMIT #i need to commit. to actually put in effort to learn posing and perspective instead of trying to lazily scrawl color on a digital canvas #but it all seems so daunting #but; you know; in time it'll come. seeing the difference only a few months has done to my art is also truly refreshing #it lets me know that im still learning and improving my technique and that really helps iron out any anxieties i have.#sorry this got super rambly super quickly lol

#my art #colored sketch #medibang paint #castlevania #alucard #i labbed out the dracula fight in dead cells more or less just before posting this but i actually did this like. 2 days ago #one of these days im gonna drawing characters that arent just like. existing in an off-white void by default. i prommy #i dont really know alucard's character in detail so along with his design being more complex than i usually work with #i have pretty much no sense of his 'acting'. like i dont know how to really pose him. i think those are my two main hurdles #last time i posted him i had at most gotten like 60% through the first cv. it has been two years. i have not touched it since 💀#ough i almost forgot: i based this loosely on his dialogue portrait to test my comfort with his design bc yall havent seen it but #ive been fighting for my Life trying to draw this man. im in the Tranches. but i did it (it will happen again. maybe in two more years)

I’ve been staring at these (and a third triple line up that I literally only have the poses for) for like a few months so have some WIPs of Nik in fancy wear and my phantom rogue Lucian’s general get up (kindofsorta I’m playing with ideas still)

I keep waffling on Nik’s outfit because I want it to be thinner and more flowing, but can’t get it in that nice mid ground of feminine but not straight up a dress, ya feel?

#my triton pally of the open sea if the triple line up but I cannot decide how I want a triton to look #or even a general color scheme for her so she simply Exists with no description #I'm not budging on the thigh high slit and high heel boots on Nik btw #those are the core Features #I have a Thing where I like showing off his collarbones for some reason so I want to give it a low cut but #he would be avoiding that because of his focus no longer being a necklace and trying to hide that fact from the party #I also want the cape/train to stay but I dunno How to incorporate it with whatever the fuck the top half of the outfit turns out to be #Lucian is more of just making him look more scruffed up in Nice-but-worn clothes #a ghost detective is a bit tight on cash at the end of the day and sleeps on the floor/outside a lot lol #maybe hit with more bloodborne vibes too #my art #wip #please appreciate the csp pose-able model and the Lucian picrew that spawned his design #I do need to draw his cloak too fuck
