me, lying on the ground: what if Mira's planet was mining and processing a crystalline fuel source that was akin to our fossil fuels, but instead of being made only from dead bio matter over millions of years, it actively spread and consumed the people and wildlife rapidly if it entered their system and people going missing in the mine before a new "vein" was found wasn't uncommon to the point where the planet was considered a living ghost story, making it a prime spot for shady people to hide out because most of the system considered it the freakiest planet orbiting the suns; what if she had nightmares of a crystalline maw with teeth resembling the people she knew and left behind crying out for her, beckoning her home, gesturing to an empty spot for her to transform with them
