Being five tequila shots and as many bowls of spicy ramen in at 5 PM is not a regular day at work by any standards, unless you work at Second Try.

They just finished shooting a Drunk VS. High Spicy Food Challenge, and Eugene’s brain swims pleasantly in his skull. He wonders if the bottle of Patrón is still around somewhere — and if there’s any ramen left.

Most everyone has already packed up and headed home, but him and Keith are still at the office, too lazy to call an Uber.

And Andrew can’t exactly get blood from him because of the mixed blood type. That will make Andrew dizzy from the cocktail of blood.Second, his crush. Andrew had already told Adam about it, but not to the crush himself. Adam is really too cool about it ("I mean, we kind of work together and if we are together-together, I think it make sense. It’s a win-win, too."). Steven Lim, who accidentally found out about it, after jokingly drinking Andrew’s 'secret syrup' from his mug on a break at BuzzFeed. Steven, who also gives Adam heart eyes every now and then, and who can also definitely give Andrew his really tasty blood.And... Andrew’s weird thirst is starting to come out. Great.

We upset grandma.

I had the hiccups and the onld÷st thought it was a good idea to scare me but he didn't tell grandma in an obvious way. I knew what he was trying to do but I didn't say anything and we were on a tryfic light that had just turned green. The oldest tried to scare me but he scared grandma and we almost had an accident. Now grandma won't talk to us...

Please give me literally all the keugene headcanons. You know who this is

headcanon requests are open - put a ship & theme in my ask!

so keith wants to go to one of these big, lavish LA halloween parties in a mansion

but like you don’t get invited unless you’re really someone and/or are known for halloween costumes where you go all out

eugene always, always goes all out with his costumes - he plans them a year in advance

and he’s always invited to at least three of these parties

and after a while they get old

rich ppl who only go there to show off, too busy wondering if ppl are looking at them to really have any kind of fun

but keith

keith is fun

keith is hilarious

keith brightens the fuck out of everywhere he goes

(keith brightens the fuck out of eugene’s life everyday)

but it’s october first

they have less than a month to plan an entire-ass costume, one that’s fancy enough, elaborate enough, but hilarious enough for keith

oh and now it’s october 5 and eugene has half a sketchbook of ideas

(and doodles of keith but let’s not dwell on that)

and he hasn’t even mentioned the party to keith

so he just drops it over lunch, oh by the way tomorrow night i’m picking you up we need to shop for fabric and accessories

and keith blinks like did i miss something

and eugene dramatically slams the fancy but tastefully spooky invitation on the table like, you’re my plus one, bitch

and keith is ELATED

and he starts spouting out costume ideas (lame - outdated - inappropriate - too simple - too niche) and eugene’s like it’s cute how you think you have a say in this

and pulls out his sketchbook

and keith looks through it quietly for a while

and then he looks up at eugene all soft like, and goes, you put thought into this

and eugene looks away and puts the sketchbook back in his bag

he clears his throat, so seven tomorrow night don’t make me wait

and keith keeps grinning at him all day, so annoying

eugene spends the whole month up to his ears in fabric and wigs and feathers

keith spends the whole month grinning at him like an idiot and practicing his character

eugene finally sews the very last sequin at 2 am the night before the party

and sends keith an exhausted selfie

and keith replies with a sleepy selfie of his own with the caption, just look at you, you can do all I couldn’t do 😘

and eugene tries to ignore the warm fuzzies and go to sleep

they spend the whole afternoon getting ready together and eugene has done ppl’s makeup hundreds of times in the past

but never has it felt so…

intimate

keith is hardly fragile but under eugene’s brushes he seems like a precious thing, and the pink blush, the lipgloss, the lashes…

well they are not helping

and they have a sing-off, of course they do, the theater nerds

but it slowly slips into a duet

and eugene feels…

soft?

he clears his throat and puts the final touches to keith’s wig

at the party, they definitely make heads turn, two absolutely gorgeous tall boys in drag, as elphaba and glinda

and the party is the furthest thing away from boring

because green lipstick meets pink somewhere in one of the numerous bathrooms of the mansion

and keith holds eugene like a handprint on his heart

Zach’s plan for the day is simple and straightforward: chill on the beach until dinnertime and then hope someone feeds him. Do as little as possible all day — he’s really starting to see the girls’ point in making them unplug for their vacation. He can’t even remember what his email inbox looks like, and it’s a wonderful feeling.

Zach should have known better than to make plans when Keith Habersberger is around, though. Yes, even if his plans are no plans. Keith has a knack for figuring out exactly what your plans are without even asking you, and dismantling them with a simple “Hey, I got an idea.”

it’s a weird request

zach should probably just shut his mouth

but goddammit his back hurts so much he can barely think

it’s out of his mouth before he can even think of holding it back

“keith, would you do me a solid and lie on my back?”

shit even the setting is weird

they’re the only ones left at the office and the only light is keith’s desk lamp and the glow of zach’s laptop

lofi hiphop coming out of the speakers

lie on my back what the fuck was zach thinking

he wasn’t, that’s the thing, cause his entire back is like fires and knives had a baby and rolled it all over his spine

he knows the only thing that will give him any semblance of release is weight and pressure

he’s trained bowie to climb on top of him when he lies on his front and that always helps so much

keith’s the only one around and he’s a big guy

what the hell it’s not like this is the weirdest thing they’ve ever done

they oiled up each other’s butts for christ’s sakes

he’s spiraling isn’t he

keith is talking and zach is spiraling

maybe his brain should shut up and let keith talk

zach? what do you mean lie on your back? he finally asks

dude my back is killing me, i need like... weight and pressure?

why is nothing ever weird with keith?

he’s such an absurd human that it automatically stops any awkwardness from settling in

so zach lies face down on his yoga mat

he rubs between zach’s shoulderblades soothingly for a sec

right, he says, okay

and then he’s lying down on top of zach, holding himself up, with his arms, push-up style

keith, zach groans, the whole point of it is for you to be heavy

i don’t wanna crush you

keith, please

zach sounds damn near close to begging and wouldn’t that make it weird

but then keith lets go, settles his whole weight on zach, and all of zach’s thoughts leave his brain with a little oof, a puffed-out breath

okay? keith asks, still so very soft, but now real close to zach’s ear

zach can only nod because his brain, where previously was a jumble of thoughts, is now just blissed out fog and not a single word in sight

he could fall asleep like this

i could fall asleep like this, he says

go ahead, keith says

sweet dreams, keith says

zach has no idea if he dreams it or if the kiss on his cheek is real

he’s already asleep

Andrew really lucked out when he moved to LA after graduation. In less than a month, he had a job at a young, tiny media company, and two weeks later, he had a roommate.

He couldn’t move in with Adam, his friend from college who found him a job at Buzfeed — the guy was awesome and they were tight-knit as they come, but he couldn’t stand roommates.

“I need my quiet,” he said, “but I hear Eugene’s looking for a new place.”

Eugene was funny, creative, nice and helpful if you were on his good side, and frankly, Andrew could hardly find a better roommate, so he agreed.
