It's 4 pm now, and today has been good. I woke up around 9 instead of 8, so I got to sleep in a little. Surprisingly, the animals didn't seem to mind us being late. Maybe they wanted to sleep in too, haha.

My boyfriend and I started cleaning the townhouse around 11:30 or so. He took care of the downstairs tasks, while I focused on deep cleaning the upstairs area. I came across this dry shampoo for our carpets that seems to work decently. However, it didn't spread very well, so I couldn't cover as many areas as I wanted because it clumped together. Nevertheless, the carpet smells and looks better now.

I also decided to take apart my vacuum cleaner, including the parts that required a screwdriver. I washed everything in the bathtub with hot water and soap, although it wasn't the most convenient place to do it. I'm currently waiting for everything to dry so I can put it back together.

Earlier today, I stripped my bed, so now all my sheets and blankets are waiting to be washed. Unfortunately, I can't take a nap now, but I guess that works out since I've been wanting to nap less. I've unintentionally made myself stay awake, haha. My back hurts a little from bending over the tub and raking the dry shampoo into the carpet. So, I'm taking this break to post, smoke, and watch some music videos.

P.S. It's 69 degrees in here with the windows open. Nice.
