One of my most out of pocket (+ self-indulgent, naturally) headcanons for cooking crush right now is that Prem (Cooking Crush) and Tops (Ingredients the Series) go to the same culinary school and maybe they're even friends

Rice was rejected by the Council of Sparty's Innards, so reported to our vet this morning. She's not worried as long as Sparty has an appetite, drinks, pees, and seems relatively chipper, so there's no immediate change of plans other than dropping the rice idea altogether and sticking with very low volumes of a diluted gastrointestinal wet food my sister picked up for me. If she doesn't keep that either or gets worse, we're going in tomorrow evening to consider an x-ray just to rule out foreign objects, but neither of us really feel like that fits the symptoms here.
Also discussed my semi-controversial use of yogurt as a stomach aid and got a thumbs up on that - especially considering she spews bile on a normal day on an empty stomach.

The Komakusa blooms of Madame Komakusa
Sannyo has a surprising amount of interest in branding.
clothing, betting markers, trays. Maybe it's like a modern casino? it would be funny to think she offers cups or coasters with that logo too.
It shouldn't come as much surprise that when Sannyo is looking for an appropriate logo for the Komakusa Den, she went with her namesake.
The "Komakusa" or Dicentra peregrina. Is a mountain flower that grows in rough environments. it's a flower associated with something unobtainable, a supreme beauty, or a prize out of reach.
A smart choice for a logo, it is an incredibly distinct looking flower after all. (Yet it's hairstyle is somehow incredibly familiar looking)

Best Siblings Round 1: Pat & Pa (Bad Buddy) vs Tops & Thunder (Ingredients: The Series)
[Submitted Reasons Under Cut]
Pat & Pa: "SUCH an amazing sibling dynamic. They’re so supportive of each other and always there for each other, especially when it counts the most. Pat being able to confide in Pa about dating Pran at a time when he can’t confide with many others and them having gay double dates together with their respective s/o’s is sibling goals. Their little squabbles and Pa’s awful timing are so fun to watch, too. Also, just the fact that there was the whole plot line where Pat was trying to navigate his old crush on Ink with the slow realization that he has feelings for Pran, and Pa, the entire time, is just going, “Yeah, it’s totally understandable that you would have feelings for Ink, she’s just so amazing and cool and wonderful and beautiful, who wouldn’t?” before Pa realizes HER feelings for Ink. Queer disaster siblings if I’ve ever seen any!"
Tops & Thunder: [no reason submitted]

Ooh why don’t you recommend the glossy topcoat from holo taco?
I just don't think the quality is very nice!! the regular glossy taco has a persistent habit of clumping, bubbling, and becoming stringy! the super glossy taco contains toluene, which, for me, the harm potentially being done isn't worth the quick-dry benefit of the formula. So they're both products I'd recommend skipping!
I also think that holo taco is in a unique position, as a brand with a visible personality behind it, and while I think most of their formulas are really very good, people are more willing to sugarcoat their opinions on the less-good products, the way you'd soften negative opinions toward a Person rather than a Brand

🙃
Purina apparently discontinued and then reformulated the only canned food I've found so far that Griffin's extraordinarily sensitive tummy can tolerate, adding one of his potential worst allergens to nearly the top of the formulation list. I have sent a Karen-like e-mail to Purina, and am now having to have five million tabs open on different pet food websites to put the ingredient lists of everything under a microscope to try and find something remotely close.
