Reader is Tommy's girlfriend and their going to the prom but reader's bullies try to ruin her prom but Tommy saves the night request by @geacola96

summary: even if your bullies, Leah and Stacy, try to ruin your prom night with Tommy, they can't cuz Tommy's here :)

a/n: if anyone's wondering, Tommy Warneki is a Keanu Reeves character from a film Flying/Dream to believe (1986)

"You look absolutely beautiful, my baby," your mom kissed the top of your head as she admired her work.

Today was the Prom. You've been planning this day since the last two months. Excited to spend the evening with your boyfriend Tommy and wanting to make the best of it. Your mom even helped you get ready by doing your eyeshadow and hair, seeing you were struggling with them.

The sound from the calling bell distracted the both of you. "Oooh! I think it's Tommy. Quickly, apply the lipstick and I'll open the door for your darling boyfriend," she winked at you.

You looked down as red tint began covering your cheeks. You heard the door open, followed by Tommy's soothing voice. You applied the lipstick over your lips and breathed in deeply.

This day will never come back. It has to be perfect.

You looked yourself in the mirror for the last time before grabbing going out your room to downstairs.

Tommy was talking with your dad. His eyes blew wide at surprise as he watched you ascend down the stairs. Your dad frowned as to why Tommy was looking like an idiot untill he himself turned around to face you. You were standing on the last step, fidgeting with your hands.

Your dad smirked. "She's beautiful isn't she?" It was a rhetorical question though.

"My girl," Tommy said with a genuine smile adorning his lips.

Your dad's head lashed towards Tommy's, glaring at him. Tommy cleared his throat uncomfortably. "I mean yes sir, Y/n is really beautiful."

You giggled at them both. "Daddy! C'mon stop nagging him. We've gotta go," you said linking your arms with Tommy's.

"A picture sweethearts," your mom stood before the couple of you with a camera in hand. You both smiled for the picture. "Lovely."

Your dad then turned to Tommy. "You will drop Y/n by ten. Don't be late. Keep her safe. If you do anything to upset my daughter, I will make sure to teach you a hard lesson, boy."

"Never in my dreams, Mr. L/n. Can we go?"

Your dad nodded. Your mom kissed your cheeks for the last time then you and Tommy went out the gate and for the school.

Tommy drove you two to the school. When you reached, he kept his words to your father of treating you right, held the door open for you.

You smiled at him. "Thank you, gentleman."

"Anything for the lady, miss." He locked the car and held his hand for you.

"Shall we then?"

"We shall."

With that, you walked hand in hand with Tommy into the hall where the prom was being held. Music was blaring from the speakers, people were dancing some with their dates while the others rocked on the dance floor.

You hugged some of your friends and chatted with them, still with Tommy. "Woah Y/n! You look amazing!" One of your friends gasped looking at you.

You were wearing a pink (or any color you like) dress. In all modesty, you had to admit it was really beautiful. "Thank you. You look gorgeous too, Maya," you complimented your friend back.

Robin came towards the couple of you with Mark. She gasped after seeing you. "YOU'RE LOOKING BREATHTAKING Y/N!" She screamed taking your hand jumping up and down. "YOU'RE LOOKING MORE BEAUTIFUL ROBIN!"

Both of your dates watched their girls go crazy over who's more beautiful. Mark turned to Tommy. "Girls," they said at the same time.

After you two calmed down Tommy and Mark offered to get you two a couple of drink. You had agreed and now you were chatting with Robin when Carly and took Robin to a secluded area to talk in private.

You were just smiling at all your classmates when Leah and Stacy came over. You rolled your eyes at them. They had drinks in their hands.

"Y/n," Leah said smirking. "What do you want Leah?" You sighed. You looked for Tommy so that he could come and save you from this unwanted conversation with the two most popular girls. They hated you and you reciprocated the feeling with pride. Tommy however, was chatting with his friend.

"Mmm you look nice," Leah began. "At least better than a clown!" Stacy finished, laughing with Leah.

You huffed turning around. Leah grabbed your wrists before you could walk away though. "What's the hurry, sweetheart? We have some news."

"Spill it out fast. I have a date to dance with," you replied with a roll of your eyes.

"We heard-"Leah paused to let Stacy talk. Honestly you could just wanted to punch then square in their stupid face but you kept from doing so as you avoided to have any scene.

"The boys told us Tommy was talking behind your back about how shitty you look," Stacy said.

You really wanted to not believe it but you've known Tommy from childhood. You also knew about his crush on Robin. That was ages ago. You were his bestfriend before he asked you out. But you also could not see the way he looked at Robin sometimes. Maybe he still had feeling for her.

You turned to look at Tommy. He was staring at Robin with loving eyes. Your own tears filled your eyes.

As you were looking at Tommy, Leah and Stacy dumped their drinks on your face making you gasp loudly. Everyone stoped what they were doing and attend at the three of you.

"WHAT THE HELL?" You screamed.

Leah giggled. "Oops. Sorry," Stacy exclaimed laughing maniacally.

Tommy came running back to you. He pulled out his handkerchief from his pocket and handed it you. He then turned to face Leah and Stacy.

"You both do pretty bad job at being whores. Did anyone told you that?" he spat on their faces.

Tommy escorted you outside leaving the hall of people surprised.

Tommy helped you clean your face, in the process your make up was washed off. You hair was also out of place.

He sat you down on the stairs as you leaned on him crying uncontrollably. "Why do they hate me so much? I wanted tonight to be perfect!"

Tommy rubbed your back tying to calm you. "They hate everyone. And vise verse honestly," he was successful at making you smile softly.

"And for the date I don't think tonight is ruined either."

You looked up at him.

"What do you mean?" You asked.

He looked down at his wrist watch. "Well it's only nine. We still have an hour to do anything basically." He stated.

You looked more confused. "What're you suggesting Tommy boy?"

"What I am suggesting is that we can still go to your favourite ice cream parlour," he smiled.

You sprang up from your seat, full of energy and smiles now that you heard about ice creams. Your favourite one at that. "Let's go!" You jumped.

Tommy laughed getting up fro t he stair. Before you could go, Robin and Mark came out. Robin came and hugged you tightly.

"Sorry Y/n. I should've never left you," she apologized even though it was not her fault. Well not actually.

You smiled. "It's okay Robs. We were going to Melanie's, the ice cream parlour? Honestly I'm over it already," you giggled.

"Oh. Well should me and Mark come too? Would it make you feel better?" Robin suggested.

You shook your head. "No. You enjoy your date with Mark. We both know how excited you were for this day. Don't let a silly drama ruin it for you."

She smiled in return. "Okay then. We'll be here if you need us."

Tommy and you were now currently sitting on top of his car, your favourite ice cream in hand with Tommy beside you.

None of you spoke a word. It fr nice to just have each other's presence sometimes. Although you couldn't push aside the thought of Tommy still having feelings for Robin.

"Tommy?" You asked. "Hmm?" He replied.

"I know i should not ask but, do you still have feelings for Robin?" As soon as the words left your mouth, you looked down at your feet.

You heard Tommy land on his feet in front of you. He put his hand on your chin making you look at him.

"Why do you think that, baby?"

You avoided his gaze. "Well there's the way you sometimes look at her. Your eyes speak for you. They tell me you still love her."

"Look at me Y/n", he commanded. You hesitantly abided his order, staring at him.

"Yes I loved her. But that was years ago Y/n. It was before I recognised the feeling I had for you. It's you that I love and whom I'll always love till my last breath." His voice held truth.

You wiped your tears that had already left your eyes and pulled Tommy for a kiss. You kissed passionately, your lips moving in sync.

He put his hand on the nape of your neck to deepen the kiss. You hands were tugging lightly at the roots of his hair. Before the kiss could escalate to something hot you pulled away, placing your forehead on his.

"I love you Tommy Warneki," you whispered. "I love you too Y/n L/n."

You stayed like that for sometime when Tommy pulled away. He looked at his watch then back at you with horror. "What's wrong?"

"It's 9:40! I have to get you home by ten. C'mon c'mon hurry. Get in the car!"

You laughed loudly at him as he drove fast but carefully. He knew he'd be in danger if you were late even by a second.

Hey I have a request about the pairing Tommy x reader from the movie Flying it set after the ending of the movie Y/n, Tommy, his friend Leo, Robin and her friend Carly are at the cafeteria mind their own business but the Leah Stacy and Leah's boyfriend Mark entered in the cafeteria and Leah and Stacy started teasing Tomm and Y/n relationship but Y/n stand against them and this gave the strength to Mark to dump his girlfriend request by @geacola96

"She kept on complaining why her engine wasn't starting when she hadn't even put her keys in ignition! Can you believe it?" The table roared with laughter once again as y/n told her friends the first time Robin, her bestfriend rode her bike for the first time

"She be dumb sometimes," Carly added, giggling.

Robin looked offended and threw a piece of bread at her bestfriends. "C'mon. Change the topic! Enough of humiliating me," she said, giggling herself.

The laughter died down, the gang now engaged in normal conversation with each other.

"Look, the idiots are back in town."

An all too familiar voice of Leah spoke, making the five sigh irritatedly.

Y/n was the one to voice their disgust against her. "Don't you have anything else to do? Don't you see there are other people in the school to bother? Why do you always have to come after us?" Y/n said through gritted teeth, her face red with anger.

Stacy smirked. "but none of them are as fun as you!"

Y/n was getting more and more infuriated by every passing second. She got up form her seat and stood before Stacy, her face inches away from her and her hand clenched tight.

Timmy saw his girlfriend loosing control and immediately held onto her other hand to calm her. "Y/n please, they're not worth it really," he tried to reason her to stop her from causing a scene. He knew how angry y/n can get.

Y/n breathed in deeply, closing her eyes to regain her composer again. "That's right. Listen to your little boyfriend. At least he knows not to mess with us."

Y/n kept quite. The rest sighed knowing nothing ever will make the two stop bothering them. "Leah, that's enough let's go," Mark, Leah's boyfriend said, trying to pull her away but Leah stood there, unmoving.

"No one really wants to be even near you, you know that, Leah?" Y/n turned around back to her seat.

"Oh but I remember you dying to be my friend in sophmore year. Honestly that you was way better than this you."

"I only ever talked to you because your mom is my mom's bestfriend. I didn't wanted my mom to think that you and I don't get along well like she and your mom. That was before I met my real friends. Hell, even your boyfriend doesn't want to be with you."

The cafeteria was as quite as a library. All hearing in the conversation.

Leah looked at Mark wanting his denial. "Tell me she's lying, Mark!"

But Mark spoke not even a word. Y/n chuckled humourlessly. "Go on ask him again. He told me that himself."

Carly, Robin, Tommy and even Leo looked surprised at their bestfriend's boldness.

"Mark!"

"Yes! She's right. I don't even know why I'm with you. I liked Robin," the entire cafeteria gasped including Robin. "That's it. I'm dumping your fake ass!" He spit in her face, moving to stand beside Robin's table, leaving Leah and Stacy standing there like idiots.

After what Mark had said sinked in, Stacy grabbed her friend by the shoulder and began to walk away.

"Wait!" It was Y/n. "I have a debt to repay."

She grabbed her can of coke and threw it at Leah's face. "That was for Robin.Now it's equal," she smirked in triumph.

Leah gasped, wiping her wet face. She turned around and ran away, Stacy chasing behind her.

Mark stood there awkwardly m, shifting his weight from side to side.

"Go on. Sit next to your crush," y/n giggled, making space for Mark to sit beside Robin, she herself sitting beside her boyfriend.

Carly and Leo smirked, forwarding their hand to greet Mark. "Welcome to the gang, Mark."

The lunch resumed, students talked about what happed just merely minutes before. Mark seemed to get along well with all the friends.

Tommy put his hand around Y/n's shoulder and whispered in her ear. "I didn't know my girlfriend is such a badass, eh, y/n?"

Y/n smirked. "There's alot of things you don't know about me, Warneki," she winked at him causing Tommy to blush tomato red.
