I’m watching CAOS and the Tommy being brought back from the dead thing reminds me of the book The Ravenous. The sister was brought back but something went wrong. When she saw herself in the mirror she went nuts and tried to kill people. She had to feast on human flesh.

✰ He would read to you while you were cuddled up in bed, his soothing voice lulling you to sleep
✰ He would place a gentle kiss on your forehead before drifting to sleep himself

It still makes me laugh that after the memorial for Tommy Kinkle, and Sabrina and Lilith are having their little chat at Dr Cee’s, and Sabrina is all ‘hmm I think I should resurrect him’ and Lilith acts all shocked like ‘you can’t possibly be talking about a resurrection spell? Such a thing is so dangerous and wrong and morally questionable and comes with so many problems, Sabrina’. And Sabrina is like ‘sigh. it was just an idea’. And then Lilith proceeds to basically go ‘Yes. it is just an idea. A bad idea. That would require you to go into my office and steal this very specific book and cast this spell which is so easy I’ve seen it done successfully so many times before and also you’ll need to kill someone to make it happen’.
And the fact she gives her the precise details of what precisely ‘not’ to do isn’t even the funniest bit.
It’s when she says that it’s ‘a life for a life...but you couldn’t possibly cross that line’, and then she squints at Sabrina, seeing if she’s capable of it, but rather than confirming whether she is or not, she just uses the oldest trick in the book; reverse psychology which she is pretty fucking confident will work on a teenage witch who thinks she knows better. So she goes ‘you are many things, Sabrina Spellman, but a killer isn’t one of them’, knowing full well that Sabrina is now going to try and find a way to do exactly that while avoiding consequences at the same time. Because that’s what Sabrina does.

it has been a long day for the younger kinkle boy, not only did he fail his math test the whole football team had to run extra laps due to peter's tardiness. leaving harvey overly exhausted and tired than usual after practice. walking up the driveway to the back patio he stopped in his tracks upon seeing eddie --- intrigued but not surprised, as the older brunette had been stopping by the kinkle house ever since he befriended tommy back in high school. " tommy's working a shift at the mines with dad today. " he informed the other, taking a seat next to him on the stairs leading up to the patio porch.
"do you mind if i smoke?"
the boy shook his head, leaning back on the steps to stretch out his back. " go for it, dude. just as long it's outside my parents don't care. " he yawned, glancing up in the afternoon sky.

Rewatching season one and just thinking about how the Kinkle brothers grew up around the mines, and that the miners who worked there probably at some point took notice of the two kids that their boss was really not taking a good care of, and now all of a sudden, Harvey and Tommy had uncle Jared, who taught them how to shave and drive, Uncle Tobias who always cooked too much food and was "forced" to give them pots full of warm meals or else they'd go bad, uncle Zachary, who took them to doctors appointments and clothes shopping, and uncle Peter, who helped them with with homework and taught them how to throw a punch and the age old fighting style of "smash their head against the nearest solid surface".
Just, this group of rough, intimidating men who looked at these kids and decided that they were family, watched out for them, loved them, allowed themselves to be soft and goofy for them.
And how these men died, with Tommy Kinkle, probably yelling at Harvey to run, get out of the tunels, to live.
How Harvey lost more family than Tommy that day.

My mind is blanking. Are there any brothers on the show besides Harvey and Tommy? And by that I mean, two boys being brothers, not Edward Spellman being the brother of Zelda and Hilda.
Dr. Cee is the oldest of three boys, but we never meet them. Principal Hawthorne consumed his twin in the womb (unless that was just a plot for the Batibat nightmare). But are there any other boys with brothers that we see on the show?
