My real name is Sarah. And I've never told anyone that.
Until now. Because it was the only thing that I had that
no one could take from me.

redeeming love (2022)
a beautiful movie that showed how raw, complex and darkness the world could be. redemption, true love, fate, lust, breakdown & comeback. a depiction of how we need our own identity & relationship with God over everything.
michael is the real implementation of God's unconditional grace and love. he showed the pure warmth, sincerity & admiration at the same time with those eyes. he is the whole attractions. he prayed, he battled, he knows his needs and how to fulfilled his will.
the way abigail cowen portrayed all of the brokeness, guilt, numb & sad face just makes me falling deep into her world. how she didn't think that she deserved a grace of hapiness in her life. she's the brave one, pretty & she deserves all the love.
the whole story was showcased God's love, presence & his encompassing. for me, story basically told us about forgiveness, the believe in faith & how to find ourself in the hardest phase that might be in our lives endlessly.

Redeeming Love (2022) 💩
Written by the christian Danielle Steele for a very narrow audience, this movie‘s only redeeming quality is the beautiful location (Cape Town) where DJ Caruso proceeds to piss away $30M.
The source material is loosely based on the Bible story of Hosea and Gomer peppered with a generous dose of unnecessary graphic abuse that blindsides you into what essentially is an old testament torture movie, which makes it hard to even shitwatch.

Tom Lewis performs the East Indiaman and explains “Cheerily” versus “Handsomely” at the Mystic Sea Music Festival (2017)
This has been in my drafts folder for nearly a month, waiting for when I have the spoons and clear mind to translate the Auto-Generated captions into something actually readable. But I’ve had to concede that those spoons aren’t coming. And I still want to share this, because it makes me laugh. So I’m posting this untranslated (sorry).
Tom Lewis was in the British Royal Navy, as a Submarine sailor, from 1959 - 1983. He’s been singing sea shanties and writing original songs about modern sailing life since the 1960s. Part of his performance style is to interrupt a song right before the last verse and chorus, in order to tell a story explaining what the lyrics mean. And, IMNSHO, he could be just as famous as a stand-up comedian as he is a singer. I’ve watched this half a dozen times, and I still laugh at it.

He takes Angel to his special, favorite place to watch the sun rise. He attends to her physical and mental needs, and dares to envision a…

📽 Redeeming Love (2022)
My mom read this book years ago, and she didn’t really remember it as well as she thought she did. My mom, grandma, great aunt, cousin, sisters, and I all went to see this together. Now when I tell you it was awkward to watch this with my grandmother, it was AWKWARD. I knew this was based on a Christian romance novel, so I was expecting bad acting and cringey dialogue. I was NOT expecting half-naked steamy scenes. I knew the premise of the book, but most Christian books/movies don’t have that level of spice. Trust me, I’m not scandalized; I was just surprised (especially considering my grandma was right next to me). Other than the shock, this movie was really good. I read the book after watching it (that review will come later), and the movie followed the book pretty closely. I’m not going to review the plot of the movie, because that review will be in the book review. But as far as movies based on books go, this one is definitely one of the best I’ve seen in terms of following the book. Actually, though, the movie dials down some of the strangeness of the plot. A rare choice for me, but I think I would actually choose the movie over the book in this case.
Sex/nudity: 7/10 (there’s too much to document it all but it includes almost full female nudity, sex scenes, rape, etc)
Language: 2/10 (nothing stronger than d*mn but it is used several times along with other profanities)
Violence: 6/10 (all having to do with prostitution and rape)
Overall rating: 8/10
