a lot of the time when ppl write nile post-tog shes often already A Member Of The Family and falls into the group with ease (which IS what you kind of see in the merrick fight scene admittedly) but i would like to see nile struggling a little to find her place in this group of people who are so infinitely strange and old to her. as much as shes struck up such a close bond w/ andy, andy is difficult to *know* and *understand*. and she barely knows joe and nicky. and booker, who was the guy who had the most similar life experience to her, is gone. i think theres a lot there, nile struggling to find her Place in her new family while struggling with her decision to 'leave' her old one; while also trying to find her place in the world, especially regarding the fact that it seems like so much of her life pre-death seemed to be about following in her father's footsteps. how can she still do that in the situation shes in? does she want to still do that?

as i understand it joe and nicky may or may not kidnap copley in FM. in the comicsverse copley isnt recruited to the team at the end of the first installment and kozak is dead. at the end of the first installment in the movieverse, copley is recruited and kozak is alive. i dunno have them go fuck up kozak or something

🤔 What is the hardest part of writing fic? Already answered it here. 🌈 What inspired you to write [insert fic here]? I get to choose which fic, lol? Well, most of my fics are inspired by prompts or something written in response to a Discord event or a missing scene. In any case, if you want to hear about a specific fic, just lemme know, but for now I am picking this one: the stiff heart It’s my BigBang fic and probably the hardest thing I have written for TOG. Crusades-era stories have been done and done well since the very start, but I wanted to use my vast Crusades knowledge, lol, and write something as historically accurate as possible and entirely focused on Joe, because he’s my baby. Also, There Is Only One Bed™ is one of my favourite tropes in this world. I can tell you that I basically wrote 24k words just so I could make a certain exchange happen. It’s a huge spoiler, but if you read it, you know what is. ;) I’m absolutely proud of this fic and I still will write the historical notes for it (and I'll reply to all comments, sorry!). Also, this fic was beautifully illustrated by the gorgeous and talented @eiseul, who recently opened commissions, so you know, go check out her blog! 🍰 Name one of your fave comfort fics (doesn’t have to be your all time fave). Like, idk what to tell y’all, it's so freaking good, the author nails their comics voice so, so well I wanna cry every time I read it. And the smut is top tier. I have lost count of how many times I have re-read this baby. The Secret History, by spqr (M, one-shot, 9K) A freaking classic and for a damn good reason. Joe’s voice is simply DELICIOUS here, and the way the author jumps from time to time feels so effortless and it’s so well-written. I love everything about this fic and I re-read it every month or so. There's a TV, Joe!, by @ignisentis (T, one-shot, 1,3K) I can’t tell you all how much I love this fic. It’s a missing scene and Ignis nails Joe and Nicky’s voices so freaking well, they are so snarky and so in love. It’s fun and it’s soft and it’s perfect. A must read. Let Your Heart Beat Here, by side_biddy | @aw-hawkeye-no (T, complete, 5K) One of my favourite omegaverse stories in this fandom and *gasps* doesn’t have any smut in it! This story is about Nile struggling about being an omega in a world of alphas and Nicky helping her to build a nest. It’s the most soft fic in the world, and I loved it to bits. The Golden Horn, by goldsaffron (E, one-shot, 11K) A new author and oh boy, but they mean business. Amazing historical research, again they nail Joe’s voice perfectly. I usually don’t care about jealousy fics, but this one is very well done and it deals with it with so much care and good humour. And the ending is simply superb.
