Do you have any tips? I started writing fanfics but I struggle writing dialogues between characters I feel like they lack personality and lacks interest
omg i love this question!!!! (and i mean it)
okay im not in a position to give advice tbh i do feel like i could improve my writing as well BUT when it comes to dialogues, the best thing to do is imagine yourself saying the exact same words that are being said.
how did your hands move when you said it? how did your face feel? hot? cold? were your cheeks sore? did you have a neutral expression or did your eyebrows twitch in confusion. one of the things that I do believe I’m good at (which can be weird) is how much I stare at other people around me. I notice the little things such as the purse in their lips when they’re focused, the inhale when they’re anxious, the stutter to their chest when they’re nervous. all of those things can be added to a dialogue so lemme give you an example of an interaction between me and my best friend (although on a video call but it can help!)
“and then what did he say?” I propped the phone between my knees ▶️ (describing the action that follows with me saying the sentence). After a long, rough day, talking to her was like a breath of fresh air ▶️ (describing the feelings of the character whilst on this call)
“he just laughed at it,” her grin was big, and you can tell from the angle that she was holding her phone with one hand ▶️ (describing what position she might be in to paint a clear picture for the reader)
you don’t have to do it for the entirety of the dialogue! sometimes even in conversations with people in real life, the words just die down and our social battery goes flat. its more realistic for a dialogue to get cut off or to switch to something else or just simply stop.

I'm quite sensitive and can go way too deep into my emotions and it bothers me a lot. Sometimes to the point where I neglect my daily needs such as food and sleep. I've abandoned a lot of friendships over the years too, due to my insecurity and lack of emotional support at home. It's affected my creative productivity as well.
I've been like this for quite a few years now but I managed to pull through somehow without therapy (Which I will be going to soon) but would love to hear your insight if there's any way I could improve myself and my mindset as an ISFP teen. I would really appreciate it!

Risstastic's Gathered Medley #5; The Reborn
Having spent an undetermined amount of time abandoned in an old warehouse, new life was brought to this vintage robot by the Goddess of Light. Some parts had to be replaced, but Beta gladly cast those aside and welcomed a new era onto his metallic and furred body. Grateful for being given new life, he sought out an instrument at random; the cello. With programming, he was able to pick up the skill rather quickly, now he's able to play and make his own songs.
Floating here and there, he's wherever most people gather, but his favorite places to be are during the brightest, sunniest of days. He has a certain quirk regarding the weather, the more clouds there are, the more tired he is and thus the more time he requires to charge. But his personality is not overly bubbly and annoying.
In combat, he excels at swordsmanship, making him a great sparring partner. Not only can he swing a sword, but he'll give you tips to improve your battle stance for more deadlier attacks. He does wish to have one of his arms turn into a plasma canon, however…
However, despite his bright and warm personality, he despises darkness.
"it's all I've ever known since being in that storage room…I'd rather not be in darkness again, if you don't mind…"
As such, he will refuse to enter dark areas unless he is charged enough to use his flashlight function. If his battery depletes far enough, he will rush out of the dark area as fast as he can. He's not afraid of the dark…it just reminds him of a depressing part of his life. He will not tolerate any "afraid of the dark" jokes…lest you want the same abandoned fate he had.
"Hey you wanna spend forever in complete darkness? There's a locker that's just about your size, want me to shove you in it and leave you there for a few years? Didn't think so."
Beta claims not to be religious, but he does spend every friday praying to the goddess that gave him new life, expressing gratitude and pledging to spread her light to all corners of Eden. Often directly to her. When confronted, he'll be embarrassed and state "I'm just paying my dues, don't make a big deal out of it!"
Bonding wise, having a positive bond with Beta will allow you to create songs together. These songs will give you buffs in combat, persuasion, and even shop discounts.
Negative bonding, however, will result in Beta playing pranks on you more often. He won't go against his programming to not harm non-enemies, but if the two of you become enemies…Beta will risk life and limb to tear you apart.
