It was rare for his crew to leave Partys bar early and Shanks made a mental note to thank Benn profusely for subtly making sure that he would be able to spend some time with Makino alone. He couldn't explain it, but there was something about the barmaid that intrigued him. He drew circles over the rim of his glass of whiskey as he watched her cleaning up behind the bar and getting everything in order.

"Are you sure you don't need any help Makino? My offer still stands."

Alice had just shown up one day. She wasn't sure how she had shown back up or why but here she was back in Shadyside. She was dead of course but no one else seemed to know that so she tried to blend in going to the school. She's lingering in the hall figuring she could hide out when classes start but she's caught. "Oh uh- skipping class?" She asks before nodding to Deena's bag.

There was a slight face made at the idea of herself being scanned---she really didnt like that idea. "I know the fruit can do much more, but it's that aspect I'm in true need of at the moment. Not for myself however."

She glanced behind her and made a slight nod, gesturing someone forward who had been nervously hiding. The slim, chocolate haired navigator stepped out from behind his captain; looking down at her with an unsure expression. He had been slouching as to not be seen.

"Do I really gotta---? I've been taking real good care of myself, honest" They asked, clearly uncomfortable.

Martha just gave them a small, smile and rested a hand on the back of their shoulder. "I ask for my crew member. He has a medical condition---he cant feel pain of any kind. I'm the closest thing to a doctor we have at the moment and I have nothing close to the op op fruit in the means of making sure he has no internal injuries, or conditions that may be cause to be concerned"

Well, he's marginally taken aback by this inexplicable outburst. Mugiwara's curly-eyebrowed chef comes lunging towards him at full force whilst proclaiming that he's handsome, and insisting that he can treat him well. It's weird; it's definitely weird. He's sure he's met the cook before, and he had never displayed this brazenly lascivious energy towards him in the past. He would have recalled if any of their previous encounters had been this... forward. He knew Sanji was prone to hypersexual behaviors around women, but he personally had no prior evidence of witnessing him expressing interest in anyone outside that category.

Kid stares at the cook for a few moments, trying to make sense of what the actual hell he was on about.

What was all this about feeding him now? Since when were the Straw Hats so generous with their rations? He has no idea why Curly is acting so damn overzealous, but he would be lying if he said the prospect of free food wasn't a welcome thought. He hasn't had lunch yet, and now it would appear he was being offered a freshly cooked meal in exchange for essentially nothing in return. Seemed too good to be true. Was this some kind of trick?

ㅤeyebrows raise in response to the question, despite the fact that sol is very pointedly not looking at them — a silent 'yeah, duh, of course i remember, it wasn't that long ago' — but byan otherwise waits for him to continue. he does, and... truthfully, they aren't as shocked as he perhaps thinks they will be. it's a bit of a surprise, to be sure — they tend to assume that most people have at least had a kiss by seventeen — but at the same time, sol has never really struck them as the sort to have played around with his sexuality all that much. that, they suppose, is what ended up intriguing them so much when he'd first said he wasn't opposed to the idea of kissing them.

although it's probably not the response he's looking for, byan can't help but chuckle at the admission.

How is your morning going?”   A normal conversation over all. He always thought of him as a morning person, Tamaki was always so full of energy whenever he did see him.

So she was cute. That much was clear. But Nick knew he couldn't, shouldn't get attached. After all, what he was set out to do here at camp meant that he couldn't protect her. Not really. Not unless he got her out first, and he honestly wasn't sure she'd even trust him... but Nick had been thinking about her since he helped her get down from where that bitch had had her tied up and burned her. "Look, if you wanna be mad, be mad. But if you wanna get even... I have better ideas than paint."

atieno is admittedly stunned by the display that they had just seen. they weren't sure if this was made.. for witnesses. and maybe they should just pretend they hadn't seen anything at all.

but ... they were oddly impressed by it all. so, maybe they should at least acknowledge that.

Rat usually kept things pretty cheap, but he felt like splurging a little bit today. He hadn’t been in the area for long, so he supposed he’d ask a local. “I’m open to pretty much anything; I’m just starving!”

Waking up slightly hungover isn't unusual for him and neither with another person in bed. He drags his hand over his face, needing a moment to wake up properly and to register who was curled up against his side, still sleeping softly.

The memory of last night comes back immediately and he smiles widely at it. Shanks had never seen Makino drunk before, given she was usually the one working behind the bar, providing him and his crew with drinks and food throughout the day and late evening. Last night however had been the exception. There was no way anyone would expect her to work on her wedding day.

And what a wedding it had been. Alcohol had flown freely and Shanks had had the feeling that the whole village had been attending, celebrating the union between him and Makino, together with his crew (not that they needed a reason to throw a party, but their captains wedding was indeed a special occasion).

Shanks was content to watch her sleeping peacefully, as the first rays of sunshine fell through the windows in his cabin, illuminating her face. He carefully put a strand of hair behind ear, not wanting to wake her up any time soon.

"The lay out of the school is pretty easy we've got halls for each of the major subjects then two miscellaneous halls one has foreign languages and the other is shop, home ec, and computer lab." Aphrodite explains before she holds out a hand drawn map to Deena. She had made a few of these when she started to show new students around the school. She found it was easiest so even after she was gone new people wouldn't lose their way.

"I heard at your old school you were in the marching band." She says as she walks down the science hall and towards some lockers. "We've got a marching band here and lots of other extracurriculars. Yearbook, pottery club, sports, and theater. I'm on the soccer team girls soccer team we're set to go to nationals this year."

A gentle gasp came from her, covering her mouth with both hands. A date? With Loid? Oh, this was so exciting! She had been wanting to ask him for so long! However, with their jobs, it was not the most perfect scenario where they could live like regular citizens. Finding a babysitter for Anya would also be another case of keeping her safe while they were gone. However... this was a perfect opportunity.

"Loid, I would... love to!" She spoke with a soft giggle. "Yes, yes! It would be a joy to go on a date with you. As... husband and wife."
