notable NPCs - uni friend group

Carter has a small friend group at uni that she often hangs out with both on and off of campus, and there’s a possibility their names may be mentioned in threads! so, here’s some information on them below!

Michael “Mikey” Wickersham

fc: Sinqua Walls

field of study: astrophysics

Carter met Mikey on her first day at uni, and the two immediately hit it off. He’s her best friend and confidant, and he’s like a brother to her. And since they both share a similar field of study, they’re always in the same classes as each other, minus a few different ones, either due to the different subdisciplines of study or for the extracurricular classes. He was the one that encouraged her to take the time to explore her relationship with her own sexuality and gender, and she quickly became far more confident than she had been in years in both regards to her identity, and her being more comfortable in her own skin overall

the two are constantly in touch with one another, often texting each other or meeting up outside of uni to have lunch or hang out at a cafe, and are often teased for practically being attached at the hip. Carter even brought him along as her “date” to the party her father threw shortly after he and the other Avengers retrieved the scepter from Sokovia. Though, with that they have been confused as a romantic couple on multiple occasions and, while they had found it funny at first, they quickly grew exasperated with the assumption. Both are quick to deny it or shut down the topic entirely, but it hasn’t deterred either of them from hanging out as much as they do

Ryan Jeong

field of study: botany

after Mikey, Ryan’s the next person Carter’s in frequent contact with. She often confers with him in regards to her thesis, with them both sharing the field of botany, though the two have been known to get into lengthy arguments in the group chat over the old debate of Stark Trek vs Star Wars (despite them liking both franchises), and which Pokemon is the best Pokemon; which has led the rest of their friends to create a second group chat without them. However, they do get along quite well, and they actually work together at the L&L Diner, though their shifts don’t usually overlap

Cody Fischbach

field of study: biological anthropology

They’ve filled in the role of being the parental friend of the group, and often volunteer to be the driver when the six of them are able to hang out - mainly because they’re the only one with a big enough car, and usually because them hanging out just means going off campus for lunch

Carter and Cody often bounce different book and music recommendations off of each other, and are always sharing anything new they’ve discovered. They both share a passion for music, which is actually how they met to begin with, since they’re both in the uni’s music club, and they’ll meet up from time to time to practice. They also constantly send each other dumb memes just for the hell of it, and have quite a few inside jokes relating to them

Reyna Cruz

field of study: virology

Carter and Reyna actually have very little interests in common, but the two get along pretty well nonetheless. Frankly, the only reason they’re friends to begin with is because of Cody - both were mutual friends with them, and met each other that way. But, they still meet up from time to time off of campus to chat, and occasional text each other outside of the group chat

Theodore “Theo” Roecker

field of study: marine biology

Admittedly, no one’s truly sure how these two are friends. Carter and Theo tend to butt heads frequently, and seem to be squabbling more often than not. Both have been known to joke that their Cain instinct kicked in the moment they met, but they truly do get along despite what it appears. They have numerous interests in common, though minus their fields of study, and they often send dumb texts to each other whenever they’re bored

Most of these competitions are domestic club competitions, though sometimes international skaters also participate. Withdrawals with no notice are very common. Character Plots

- Hang out with Effie and Bex more - Threads with Riker to deepen their relationship or whatever - Planning the wedding (?)

- Brant could talk to Noah or Kai. Maybe talk to Riker or even Boyd somehow. Otherwise he’s fine where he is. - Maybe people from his past show up idk

- Full moon stuff. ‘nuff said.

- More threads with people but overall, Clary is fine where she is. She needs to do council stuff but I keep forgetting.

- Cop stuff (threads with other cops in the station maybe) - Wedding stuff - Figuring out the dad stuff - Threads with his sisters. - He should probably make more friends tbh

- Fixing stuff with Effie - Being a beta to the pack, talking to Elliot and Reed more - Getting a job somewhere, threads with co-workers?

- Planning wedding stuff - Angel things, either helping people or talking to others like Winnie - Talking to Daisy more and figuring that out

- Maybe hunters show up again because of Bellamy missing, otherwise possibly finding her a pack/wolves to hang out with. Thinking of having her go to the compound at some point so talking to anyone over there.

- Threads with Noah and Logan of course - Doing stuff for the paper and talking to Theo more - Maybe deciding to be a writer and investigating things she shouldn’t

- Rowan’s covered for the most part XD but he’s sorta my favorite atm so - Fixing stuff with Kenna, figuring out what to do about Cain - Threads with Boyd, Aslyn, Ryan and Silas - Maybe someone from Rowan’s past shows up and either knows it’s him or doesn’t. Maybe he murdered their family or something. Not sure but that could be something.

- Threads with Esther and getting ready for Albie to come - Figuring out the witch school stuff so talking to other witches might be good - Similar to the others, past people could show up (?)

- Threads with Remy and Esther mostly - Should probably get Seth more friends but not sure how yet

- Wendy and baby stuff - Making friends in this timeline - Possible going back to his timeline to see what’s going on over there and make sure the other Wendy is alright - He hates the idea but maybe getting him in trouble somehow with someone. Not sure.

- Threads with Riker and Nimue mostly - Keeping in touch with Bex - Fey/Witch things. Either being hunted for being one. - Vampires show up wanting fey blood (?) Could also be one for Nimue to be part of

- ??? - Zoey’s pretty content at the moment
