I miss playing my spooky goth Cleric. My IRL group had to stop playing due to health concerns (thanks covid) and probably won't get back together for the foreseeable future, but damnit, I want to play her again! Or the very self indulgent kitsune I also made! The best part of DnD for me is sitting around an actual table with friends, getting to paint minis to represent their characters, impressing them with cool monsters and stuff. I lose that with online stuff, and even though we've tossed the idea around I'm still super reluctant to do it online for some reason.

Art summary! There’s lots to improve on for me this year, but I’m sure I improved a lot since 2021 as well!

#August had lots of fun art: all the Aerois pokemon teams and Juliett Kalos AU and my pfp as well!#November didn’t really have any art? And December as well but that’s okay #I want to give animating little gifs another try #Those were fun #but I also always have to worry about my iPads storage space #I just don’t have anywhere to put my 20gb of Procreate storage on my 30gb ipad #I don’t want to delete any art but at this point? TEN THOUSANDS. Ok more seriously though, I have All The Fire Bright & Do Not Go Gentle to work on. But I'm thinking A LOT about Istar!Mairon and maybe one day I'll write that fic. And I also have an idea for an Annatar/Celebrimbor one bc yes i also ship silvergifting (not me shipping Mairon with everyone) but it's a sad one and i dont want to write anymore angst rn :)

10. Is there a fic that got a different response than you were expecting?

Each time people enjoy my fics it surprises me lmao. I did NOT expect Pour Your Light to get over 200 kudos though, this was mind blowing for me, especially since it's a lot Ainur-centric. I genuinely was floored at the response i got after the epilogue.

21. Have you ever deleted an entire scene after spending hours laboring over it? If so, why?

OH BOI. YES. i have this whole part from Uinen's POV for the scene when Galadriel is about to be 'exiled' from Numenor in the show. I love that scene but sadly as i was diverging from the show already I could not use it. I hope I can recycle it in the sequel or something.

*conspiratorial grin* "Alright, so, I was volunteerin' at an estate sale recently an' found a set of real nice, leatherbound, second edition classics. They--the people runnin' the sale--let me have for even less than they were plannin' to ask on account of help I gave one of 'em before I made Detective. THey don't even half equal those Heidi first editions he gave me, and I was intendin' them as a birthday present, but dunno if I can wait that long." *chuckle* "I don't think he has 'em yet; didn't see them in the library or his room."

5. How do you feel about other people complimenting your partner? Do you get jealous or just agree (or disagree)?

"All giddy an' happy an' a little bit smug that other people can see he's gorgeous an' kind an' amazin' an' he's all mine." *GRIN* "He picked me, he wanted me." *laughs* "I still think I'm dreamin' sometimes. So when others compliment him I say 'he sure is' an' try not t' gloat. I know Nate loves me an' doesn't have eyes for anyone else. Nothin' to be jealous of."

"Don't hafta tell me twice." (she bolts from the room, tracks down Nate, and gives him an extremely tight--long--hug, citing 'I love you' as the reason when he asks. He grins and kisses her until both of them feel like their hearts could fly.)

Well, spending time together that doesn't involve fighting bad guys or some level of impending doom would be nice. Maybe dinner. Or, hell, even just sittin' around to mess with tech. Anything that lets us relax together.... maybe I could see him in something other than armor....
