A Convoluted Process of Estimating Mondo's Hair Length
Okay, so, I had a moment tonight where I simply NEEDED to know the length of the hair in Mondo's pompadour with some degree of accuracy. So I did that.
First, I started off with a sprite where Mondo is in full view, and his pompadour is in a side view, so I can measure his height vs the pompadour's length. This is the one I used.
And here's the boxes I used to measure the height.
So in the image, Mondo's height is 910px, while him pompadour length is 195px. Some quick division tells me his pompadour is 4 2/3 the length of his body. Now, obviously we know Mondo's height, so we can find out his pompadour length with.... algebra!
So, this the length of Mondo's pompadour. So we're done here, right? Well, not quite. Remember, this is a punch perm pompadour, meaning his hair is permed, which obviously affects the length. It makes it more compact, shortening it slightly. So, how much does perming hair shorten it? Well, according to hairfinder.com...
So, based on this, our 40.07cm estimate is only 70-75% of the total length. This is a pretty quick fix.
SO, according to my calculations, his hair length should be approximately 53.43cm – 57.24cm. In U.S. customary terms, that's about 21in – 22.5 in, or 1¾ feet – 1⅞ feet.
FUCK AND DAIYA’S IS ‘EL SOL’ BECAUSE THE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND THE SUN!!! FUCK!!!
also mondo’s assigned lotería card is ‘el mundo’ if you even care. something about ‘mundo’ and ‘mondo’ both being ‘world’ in different languages. also symbolism having to do with feeling like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.

Stepping or step dancing is “a percussive dance in which the participant’s body is used to produce complex rhythms and sounds through a mixture of footsteps, spoken word, and hand-claps,” writes the African American Registry.
Step has its origins in Africa, as dancing has been a large part of traditional African culture for centuries.
Calling Step a "bizarre silent dance without music" has to be one of the wilder antiblack racist descriptions I've ever heard of stepping lmao. Anyway if you see the video, it's step!!! They're stepping!! It's a Black American form of dance!!

(note: the author of this post is completely aware of the fact that if takemichi was put in a game, the writers would probably handle his implied queerness in the worst way possible. and even if they don’t, the general fandom would probably turn him into a femboy who’s sole purpose is to be shipped with other men.)
(they just like to live in a world where that’s not a possibility. and also just want to know what his voice sounds like.)
Not liking my art is valid I'm not forcing anyone to like any of my posts or something BUT going on my posts just to shit talk is definitely a thing you shouldn't to do anyone
Also I really think some of you should reflect about why a drawing portraying a character as black makes you so mad in the first place...
