I had a dream that I was watching The Terror again and it was… a bit different.

There was a plot where Francis Crozier was pregnant. Not by Fitzjames, no; they weren’t close like that. I think by someone who was 1) a casual hookup and 2) dead. He was confiding in Fitzjames about it, though, and complaining of breast soreness. Fitzjames asked him if he was sure he was pregnant and he said yes, that he recognized the symptoms from when he was younger, and then told a story about how his mother had helped him get an abortion when he was a teenager so he could pursue his then-incipient naval career.

Unfortunately, in the dream, I was watching this version of The Terror with my father and brother and they were confused. “But he’s a man! How is such a thing possible?”

“Transgender,” I explained impatiently, because it was obvious this was the direction the show had gone with the character, even though the actor playing him was still cisgender actor Jared Harris.

“But still, no way this would happen,” I added. “I mean, look at him. He’s GOT to be post-menopausal.”

do y'all ever meet a person and immediately get an icky or off feeling from them? like they're kinda fishy to you, ykwim? but you can't say or do anything cause apparently everyone likes them so you'll seem like the bad guy if you do? 💀BUT THENNN THEY DO TURN OUT TO BE FISHY AND YOUR GUT FEELING WAS RIGHT so you're like " damn I knew it" (?)

Soooo i’ve been wondering abt this for the longest time since i read I Give Up😅but only now i want to ask the question. I hope u dont get offended or angry or anything because i genuinely felt curious. Why the story has sooo many rated chapters?😂 like why they had so much sex? God i feel like u are gonna get angry at me. Is it bcuz baek is an idol so he dont get laid so often..? Is that it?

LOLOL it’s been 6-7 years dood!

Anyway it was because back then this was a smut blog and I didn’t know what else to write😂😂😂 I didn’t know what people wanted to even read. that story was at the beginning of the blog but it was also like one of the first things I’d written, I genuinely thought that’s what the readers were coming for. It wasn’t until I started making them cry that I realized they liked feeling all of the emotions not just the spicy ones.

Also it was a new relationship. Y’all ever been in a brand new relationship? It’s nonstop sex like absolutely nonstop it’s wild. I HAVE honestly considered going in and removing some of the early chapters but 1. I am very lazy with these things and 2. It’s a brand new relationship with two people who are very into each other and very sexually compatible, so it REALLY, really is like this.

So in the end I just couldn’t be bothered to change anything. I recommend reading from chapter 11 and on🤌 that’s when I found myself more as a writer.
