I mean it when I say that they’re literally the sole reason I watched this show in the first place. I saw a billion TikTok edits of them & was like “Idek these characters I need to watch this show and see what’s going on over there.”

And like, it’s a fun show, I’m not saying it isn’t, but first responder shows are a dime a dozen. There are other shows that have queer characters and found family and wild adventures. Granted, they don’t have Buck & his bi arc, but I’d still read fanfics to get my Evan Buckley fix lol.

I don’t need them right now, I’m so down for the slow burn, will-they-won’t-they & the pining & the yearning & the build up and the GOOD foundation. I want to see Eddie figuring himself out and dealing with his repression and figuring out he’s queer (& Demi, pls God. I hope if I just say it enough, I can will it into existence somehow) before anything happens with the two of them, but if they take definitive steps to have one of them like, marry someone else or something, I think I’m gonna head out. Find me on ao3 for the rest of my days lol.

so let’s see how queues go at 2am on a fucking Wednesday morning, I wonder if I’ll give up before I find a bracket with fast pvp queues tonight tbh. it’s more likely I’ll end up pugging a raid on my mistweaver main if it takes too long to get into a battleground just to preoccupy myself for a bit and try to get a chance at trinkets and shit lmao

edit.: you know what, now that i think of, the high concentration of the dragon in the draconic sorcerer dragonborn might be a part of The Problem.

dragons, of course, slaughter, and they do it very well, but they aren't really avatars of slaughter, are they. they're associated with tyranny, power, and greed, moreso than with the killing.

it's a problem when your murder spawn starts to linger on the whole 'ruling over the world' part of the plan, and isn't really in a rush to get to the 'and then slaughtering everyone in the name of bhaal, kumbaya my lord!' part

The Gang’s Crimes

***WARNING: THIS BLOG DOES NOT PROMOTE THE ROBBING OF BANKS OR JEWELER’S. DO NOT ROB THINGS AND BLAME THIS BLOG.***

Can we talk about how the gang picked the hardest to execute but least damaging crime they could commit? 

Like bank robbing? Unless you use physical force and threaten people, no one knows you’re there. And we see the alarm start ringing after they break a window, an alarm which alerted the police. Bank’s typically have silent alarms that can be triggered without a robber being alerted if they do the whole ‘charge in the front, threaten people, and demand money’ routine. That clearly wasn’t the case or nearby police units would have been alerted. Meaning the gang did the much harder version of ‘sneak in, steal stuff, and sneak out without triggering extra security systems’. They never threatened people.

So, their crimes? Essentially victimless. Banks have insurance for money that was stolen, as do jewelers and other companies that would have been shipping that much gold. The banks and gold owner’s are large corporations that absolutely got their money back at least for the most part.

And if your bank is robbed? Congrats, you aren’t really going to be affected. You might have to wait to use the ATM for a few hours/days there while it’s being investigated, but you personally did not lose any money as it is all insured. And the money taken from the bank? It’s not actually your money since banks loan it out. It’s standard practice. You are not going to lose anything.

The gang decided to commit an intensively difficult crime with the least amount of victims possible. They were non-violent and bypassed security systems instead of just holding up said bank. They didn’t hurt innocent people.

Of course Johnny is an absolute sweetheart. Of course the rest of the gang turned out to also be insanely nice and good people. They picked a crime that doesn’t really hurt people. They’re highly moral about their crimes when you think about it, which piled upon their need for money, is probably what lead them to chose what they did and explains why we never see Johnny protesting about the actual robbery aspect itself.

didn't want to say it lest i jinx it earlier on, but compared to conquest hard+classic? pfttt. didn't have to look up a single guide, and currently dark flier!sakura is steamrolling whole levels (about to finish ch10, zola's chapter).

(i switched her to dark flier because i have a silly headcanon she likes goth shit especially with the spooky stories in her azura supports. :P )

what helps now is i actually know what i'm doing - besides the 'know which pathing you're supposed to take', poking around the unit log+rewards i got those bonus classes, and with the overclocked gunter i'm gonna grab after this map with the gold, i suspect that early-midgame will be a cakewalk until i get to the royals....

Genuinely didn't think I was going to make the roll but I DID and now I have three ogres on my bankroll, my lolth-sworn drow Tav can not stop fucking winning.
