Especially the one in the jeans look. If you imagine him a tad skinnier and with a more Boyd-ish haircut.

the only reason hydron didnt live is bc if he was part of the brawler's interdimensional found family, that'd involve him getting a character arc on account of actually having a support system and also the fact that zenoheld is dead and they didn't wanna write that so they just killed off hydron. this lives in my brain though.

I went to see the 25th anniversary rerelease of The Phantom Menace in theaters 'cause I'm a nerd. It was fun! I maintain my unpopular position that The Phantom Menace is my favorite of the prequels.

An AU in which Zarina’s alchemy allows her to get a glimpse the future and she sees what will become of James. Despite everything that happened with James, Zarina still cares about him and she decides to do everything to prevent this future from happening.

When Peter Pan arrives in Neverland, Zarina recognizes him straight away from her visions as the one responsible for James’ demise. So she starts tracking him down, with the goal of getting rid of him before he gets the chance to cut off James’ hand.

And so she becomes obsessed with Peter Pan. She interfers so much that Peter and James barely get the chance to learn about each other’s existence, so in a way, her plan works. Peter doesn’t understand why this fairy hates his guts so much, and overtime she becomes the villain in his story. And eventually, he cuts off her hand, and feeds it to the crocodile.

Rant time and ok I know I’m being petty here but sue me.

So like, ok, Ar-Pharazon in the middle is good. Legit good. His costume has real colour and creativity and looks imposing and very Byzantine. It’s great.

HOWEVER. Can we please just. stop dressing every female fantasy character in this exact dress shape. Please. My crops are dying. 

I just hate this double standard at the moment where men’s costumes in fantasy are allowed to look actually unique and fantastical and different, but all the women have to wear something that would fit right in on a bridesmaid at a 2022 summer wedding. Men are allowed to look different, but women have to fit contemporary beauty standards to the point that they wouldn’t even be noticeably in costume walking down the street. That’s just a maxi-dress and the way I tie my hair when I’m bored and just want it out of my face.
